Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A beautiful and serene resort for peace- and nature-loving travelers"
"We just returned from a 4-nights stay at the beautiful Rice & Zen resort in Doi Saket district, which is no more than 30km away from the Chiang Mai international airport. Our host, Michael, who is also a resident on the resort is very welcoming and warm. We could see that he runs this resort with great passion and drive. The property is extremely lovely. We booked the entire property for our family of 4, and we practically had the entire place to ourselves! The rooms were clean daily and well maintained, with the usual amenities expected of any upmarket resort. The only swimming pool on the resort is cleaned every morning and it feels so good to be able to dip into the pool to beat the tropical heat. And if swimming is not your cup of tea, there's always the gym and beautifully manicured garden and ponds to keep you occupied. Delicious meals are prepared and served by Maya, the resident chef. And if you're into Thai cuisine, the food is no less than scrumptious than what you can find in the restaurants. Michael and his staff will be most happy to recommend other restaurants in the vicinity should you want to venture out to try other fares. Trips to Chiang Mai city can also be arranged for a small transportation fee. Overall, we had a most pleasant and relaxing stay and we highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan city life."Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "I loved it"
Beautiful place, peaceful environment, lovely people, spacious villa, very comfortable bed, perfectly clean, good food, free scooter to visit,... I do not have enough compliments. Thanks a lot Maya and Michael, we wish to come back.Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Beautiful Hotel in a Beautiful Land"
This hotel is an absolute haven. Mrauk U is an incredible destination but can leave the traveller feeling a little worn, dusty and disorientated. The Mrauk U Princess Resort provides a calm, orderly and natural space to gather your thoughts and feel gently pampered. The food is very good and given the difficulties in sourcing ingredients such as wheat and coffee, provides an almost miraculous feat of delivering crispy, fresh croissants for breakfast every morning (make sure your come after 7.20am when they come out of the oven) with excellent coffee. Local food is also good, with delicious soup noodles for breakfast, and good salads and curries at night. The rooms are large and comfortable. I had a very small accident, entirely my own fault, but the hotel staff were responsive and professional, providing very good, simple but thorough medical care. One of the more remarkable experiences was hearing the wealth of sounds through the night as the environment is very natural and not subjected to the chemical exposure that many tropical resorts use. The result is a nighttime symphony of frogs, crickets, and cicadas.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "One of my top choice in Siem Reap"
"It is a must to visit Cuisine Wat Damnak during your stay in Siem Reap! The food was great, a mixture of local and french style. The atmosphere was stunning, we sat on the first floor and enjoyed our meal. We were supposed to sit near the window, enjoying the moonlight and clear sky in Siem Reap. The waiter helped us to change the seats while it suddenly started to rain and a few drops started coming from the roof top. We wanted to visit for our next trip in Siem Reap, sadly find out it's closed in coming April. Maybe the chef need to go for vocation as well."SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Fantastic fusion fare – beautiful atmosphere"
Our party was treated to a special menu that was just fantastic. Presentation was first class, service excellent and the setting is just beautiful.Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Beautiful old world feel"
What a serene and peaceful place just minutes away from town. Have a massage or eat lovely local food overlooking a lotus pond. Loved it and didn't want to leave. Staff were very attentive and friendly as well as helpful. Wish we had stayed longer.Cuca: "A must when in Bali"
Food is prepared with love n is very delicious. Every dish is,good. Service is excellent. Ambience is good. The chef really takes pride in the food and restaurant. Best of all price is very reasonable.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A wonderful time"
"My wife and I had the most wonderful stay at the Blue Mansion over Christmas and wanted to pass on our thank you for the hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. Our time at the mansion was that beginning of our honeymoon and we were greeted with flowers on the bed in the shape of a heart. The room was an excellent balance between heritage and modern comfort, and each time we returned to our room after exploring George Town it was an absolute joy to return as we made our way through the beautiful building to our room. The staff were amazing and genuinely happy in their work, and we looked forward to the wonderful breakfast each morning in the courtyard. For me, these breakfasts were very relaxing, the food amazing, the staff friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere just perfect. As we were spending Christmas away from home, it was lovely to receive a small gift on Christmas day. It is these little things which really stand out and remain in the memories of a stay. The cherry on top was being told we could open the back door of our room (which we were unaware existed) and be the first to use the new pool area which had been finished that very afternoon. Again, this is something we will never forget. As my wife and I sit now at a resort in Langkawai, we find ourselves thinking back to our stay and actually miss being back in George Town at the mansion. You have very special accommodation offering which we would recommend to anyone and would love to come and stay again in the future. Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"Tugu Bali: "Amazing"
"What a superb property. Only 21 rooms, built on wooden structures and with great ethnic feel. The service is amazing and so is the food. There is direct access to the beach and the beach side garden is great to lounge in with tonnes of space. At night dinner can be served in this garden. Try it. The place is full of antique statues and is a photographers delight. The property is flush with greenery and water bodies. Loved it."kenanga ubud: "Perfect, Peaceful Stay in Ubud!"
The Kenanga hotel was so beautiful and peaceful. I went there with a friend of mine over the holidays, and the staff was very accommodating. The lovely woman who owns the hotel was very sweet as well, and gave us great recommendations for good restaurants in the area. The hotel is located a little bit outside of Ubud, but close enough that it is only a short, inexpensive taxi from the main town center. There is also a free shuttle from the hotel to and from the center of town during the day. The infinity pool at the hotel overlooks the rice paddies, and the rooms were beautiful and very clean. The wifi is a little spotty in the rooms, but works great in the lobby, restaurant, and by the pool. I would definitely visit this hotel again!
