Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Amazing"
"The Mansion is divided into 3 parts - the boutique hotel, the heritage museum and the restaurant. We stayed there for 2 two nights and totally enjoyed it. Good: 1. Location of the Mansion is inside the UNESCO heritage site and very near other attractions. 2. Complimentary parking is available inside the compound of the Mansion. 3. Complimentary guided tour is available 3 times a day if you stay at the Mansion. 4. Rooms are huge and comfortable. 5. The swimming pool area is so relaxing and it's new! 6. Amenities provided are well thought of and of quality. 7. TV with 11 channels and WiFi in the room also available. 8. Check-in and check-out were easy and fast. 9. Security was good. Visitors not staying at the Mansion are not allowed access to the wings where the rooms are located during their tour of the Mansion. Needs attention/improvement: 1. Mosquitos in the room - mosquito repellant is provided in the room for you to use. 2. Breakfast was late on the day we were leaving. We rushed through breakfast. Additional info: 1. The tour was informative. Our guide mentioned almost everything that was in the book about the Mansion that we purchased from the gift shop after the tour. 2. The Indigo restaurant was really good. We love the food so much and the service was excellent."Mie Cafe: "Best Dinner in Siem Reap"
On our final night in Siem Reap we came here and it turned out to be our favorite restaurant. What a lovely dinner in a beautiful setting. We had the prix fix menu which was delicious from start to finish. Highly recommend this lovely gem.Satri House: "Exquisite"
This is a warm and welcoming place that feels like a secret hideaway with attention to detail in all areas. The spotless grounds and beautiful gardens create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was always ready to make our stay the best possible experience by helping with any and all details from transportation to making sure we had bedside water and fruit in our room every night. This is the place to stay in Luang Prabang if you get the opportunity to visit.Inle Princess Resort: "A Magical Location"
This hotel is on Lake Inle and the arrival by lake boat with the traditional leg rower is truly unforgettable. Our room was right on the lakeside with a verandah with easy chairs and loungers. The wildlife comes to you. The staff were brilliant, even managing breakfast at 5 in the morning on two occasions. Restaurant was spacious with very attentive staff. There was the option of eating outside on the verandah. Lanterns, torches and mosquito repellent were provided. Nothing was too much trouble.Heritage Suites: "Still excellent"
"I returned to the Heritage hotel one year after my previous stay almost exactly to the day. It's an outstanding hotel truly qualifies as a boutique hotel This time I was given a bungalow and my reaction to this upgrade ( low season) was WOW,what amazing room the best hotel room since a stay at Amanpuri in Phuket. The size of the room is fantastic, the living room, of course the bathroom including a steam room, etc etc Outdoor showers The pictures say what I can not say in words I have a comment to make, I was told the hotel has new ownership and a new manager is soon going to arrive. I only recognized one person Mr Han I hope there's no deterioration of an amazing property I highly recommend it, best hotel on this trip that covered 5 countries in SE Asia"Satri House: "Excellent 4 day stay"
Lovely 4 day stay here in May 2017. We had a lovely twin rooms, which was very well maintained. The staff was very good and very good at organising tours, restaurants etc. Breakfast was very nice, as was dinner. Excellent spa as well.Mie Cafe: "A Gem"
"There was a power cut during our first visit, they lighted up a lot of candles in order to carry on the service, we actually found it rather romantic ! My husband had the gourmet set and I had the scallops and beef curry, all very delicious. They gave us a discount as their appreciation that we stayed even there was a power cut, nice gesture. We went back for another dinner, we requested a table upstairs , very nice setting to look over the garden, unfortunately the next door restaurant was very busy with a lot of people and live singing etc. and hence we couldn't enjoy our dinner as much. Delicious food, attentive staff, great value. Would recommend this restaurant."Flower Island: "Second Home"
A paradise of rustic luxury where privacy and hospitality is 5 star. You can trek, hike, follow a trail path, visit a marine sanctuary, a pearl farm, a sustainable foundation or simply lounge around paradise the whole day. A gem of sacredness, nature is untapped and one can experience something magical or mystical with the resorts captivating beauty. A sanctuary when one can immerse and be one with nature. The Amazing gourmet-like food done buffet style but a must try is the pearl meat which is known as an aphrodisiac. Picture perfect sunrise and sunsets view can compete with the best in the world. One can leisurely walk around the island trail in just 25-35 minutes. Or go up the tower in 15-20mins. Most importantly are the people. The staff makes you feel you're at home. No need to lock your rooms, NOTHING gets lost. Leaving the island will bring you to tears and makes you look forward to coming back - home.GOLDEN BUDDHA BEACH RESORT: "Easter holida"
"Our stay at the Golden Buddha Resort was magnificent, truly magical. We knew getting there was going to be a bit of a trek, but it was really worth it. The location by the sea is great, the beach was vast and empty, each tree-house beautifully furnished and our son liked it too (the pool table, the pizzas at the beach-bar and wifi at the clubhouse especially) It's a place to enjoy nature, where you can reflect, breathe and simply live. With a few added bits of luxury the resort had the perfect balance for us. We stayed at Baan Marina which was beautiful, spent most of our days at the resort (close to the beach bar) and the club house in the evening, playing pool, cards or reading after food. The staff were ever so friendly, Massi and Pena were the perfect hosts. If we would recommend anything, it would be good to offer a few alternative dishes in the evening for kids although saying that we thought the chef was really excellent. Breakfast was a treat too! Thanks to everyone at Golden Buddha for the lovely memories, we loved it! "Manda De Laos: "Beautiful in the evening"
We were lucky enough there was a table for two. Food was good and the atmosphere was super strong with the beautiful pond and flowers at the centre. Also the staff were on point and took good care of us!
