4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Tranqulity and Amazing Staff"
We stayed at 4 Rivers earlier this week as part of our family trip through Cambodia. Although a long drive from Phnom Penh (5-6 hours given Phnom Penh traffic) the drive lets you experience beautiful scenery increasingly taking you into the rainforest areas before reaching the 4 Rivers reception and a short 20 mins boat ride to the Lodge. Once you arrive it is a beautiful setting with the tents floating on the river and the jungle all around. The tents are well equipped, spacious and private. The first night we were taken out on the river the see the fire flies and the second day we kayaked, swam in the river and took the side trip to the waterfalls which were fantastic. The staff at the resort were a mix of local villagers and the managers were from the Philippines. All of them were incredibly warm, genuine and helpful and simply wanted to ensure you were having a great time. You constantly are amazed and how wonderful the Cambodians are. The food was very good (taking into account you are in the middle of nowhere). I would encourage everyone to go and visit the lodge and the region as my greatest fear is that once relay discovered the area will fall victim to major development. For now it is a wonderful and magic place.Misool Eco Resort: "Unique and Amazing!"
"My wife and I have traveled enough to say this resort is one of the most amazing, unique places in the world. The story behind the why the resort exists and the process to create it so impressive. The diving, as many others have pointed out, is some of the best bar none. Yes...there are some challenges. Not the easiest place to get to. They could also do a better job with communication prior to arrival. (hopefully being solved soon) Once you arrive and get one night's good sleep, you will be so happy you made the journey. We did the 9+1 trip and that felt like a very good length. Next time (and there will very likely be a next time within the next few years) we will likely go for the 12+1. There is so much to do even when you are not diving but we spent most of our time diving because the dive team is great and its just so magical underwater. Of course you don't want to miss the dive when others in your group just spend 30 minutes with three mantas right? I could go on and on about why and how this team is making miracles in this tiny island but I prefer short reviews on trip advisor. If you love to see underwater life and have the time and money to make this journey, give it a go and have a wonderful experience."Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "A master at work"
Chef Black is a true culinary master. His passion for food - from making his own soy sauces and spirits, to hand crafting seperate meals for all customers, is astonishing. Come visit this young virtuoso before the world comes knocking. Make sure to book in advance, and remember this is a small venue which would fit a max of 12 guestsVilla Song Saigon: "Great place with a great view"
"We love this place, especially for breakfast or lunch or just a cup of coffee. Look out over the river and relax. We went here with my son of 6 months, they are very baby friendly. They provide a high chair and baby bowl. The staff is very helpful. The food is very good, we had breakfast there and that is great. Choice of different types of breakfast. For lunch we had fish and chips and a duck salad! Very good. Try it out!"Labyrinth: "Impeccable service and delicious roast pork!"
The great service started even before the dinner when they called to check if we were going for a theatre program (we were). We enjoyed the roast pork and risotto and the chili crab dish was excellent as usual. Desserts were a little too sweet for our taste (maybe it’s just us). But the sweetness was balanced by the tea offered by the wait staff who was considerate enough to notice that we still had time before our theatre program.Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Amazing Lombok"
This is our second trip to Tugu Lombok which is very unusual for us as we rarely return to a holiday destination we've previously been so that speaks highly for Tugu. We are avid international travellers and travel on average 4-6 times a year and Tugu holds a special place in our hearts. It's a stunning setting so full of character and charm (unlike many souless 5 star hotels). Its a photographer's dream. The accomodation, food and service is second to none. Though unfortunately I can't remember all the names of the attentive and gracious staff I do want to thank one of the managers Hanny for her wonderful hospitality and impeccable customer service. I can't recommend this hotel enough.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Honeymoon"
Esperienza davvero positiva"Tugu Bali: "Luxurious, Comfortable and Culturally Rich"
Like all Tugu group properties (restaurants and hotels), the Tugu hotel in Canggu, Bali, is amazing. Always putting forward their love for culture, Indonesian especially, and creative with the interior & landscape design. The new Ji restaurant is fantastic, Dragon of Ji being their special menu and very delicious.tugu malang: "Amazing and they know what GF means!"
Loved this place! Simply beautiful and charming! Every detail, every flower and candle was just perfect. The hotel is very clean and everybody is kind and helpful! We had dinner at the restaurant and I have to admit that I was a bit nervous telling them about my celiac disease and how they had to be careful! The menager himself discuss with me about what I could eat and how everything had to be done! I had an amazing dinner and a delicious breakfast!!! Rubby as well manage to treat us so well making us feel at home!!! Definetly a place to stay!!!Manda De Laos: "Be cautious"
"First of all the place is lovely, set around 3 Lilly ponds. At night the lights are magical.try and book a pond side booth or table. The food: the portions are very large, the menu tempting but try not to over order. Food highlights: the Luang Prabang salad with Scott egg( a perfect one plate lunch in itself.the tanguy duck was perfectly cooked but the tarmarind sauce could have been richer. The pork and watercress soup was devine. Service was spot on and the new French manager was delightful. Budget on 850,000 for 2 with wine water and service Perfect for a romantic dinner/ celebration"
