All I can say is WOW. From the moment we walked in the door we were surrounded with compassion and hospitality. The staff all went above and beyond to make us feel like Queens and Kings. The rooms are simply amazing. The entire establishment is so well taken care of and clean. The front desk, especially Rebekah, went above and beyond in helping to schedule dinner reservations and services. They made everything so easy. It was so quiet and peaceful, sometimes it felt like we were the only ones there.Breakfast was always incredible.Within walking distance from the night market and several restaurants, it was the perfect location. I could go on and on about the staff and establishment, but I will just leave it at this...... "Dès votre arrivée , la magie s'opère. Le cadre est sublime en plein milieu des rizières. Magnifiques chambres , un vrai havre de paix. Le restaurant propose une cuisine très raffinée et le personnel est super gentil Karine la directrice est chaleureuse , conviviale et s'occupe de tout ! Elle nous a organisé 4 journées d'excursions avec de super guides (Wayan,Arya Subayu ...). Nous recommandons la journée Ubud authentic dans la famille du guide Wayan ,visite des écoles ,cours de cuisine avec sa femme .La ballade à pied est super. Nous recommandons aussi la ballade dans la jungle avec Arya Subayu authentique. La journée vélo dans les rizières merveilleuses aussi ! Merci à Karine et toute son équipe . On espère revenir vite ! "This was one of our favorite places that we stayed on our 3 week tour of Thailand. We loved the private beach; the layout of the rooms and the wonderful food and drinks. However, what absolutely made this hotel was the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating and took Thai hospitality to a whole another level. It rained the entire time we were on Koh Samui, flooding even, and we wouldn't have changed a thing because Sea Dance still made our trip perfect! The Apsara rive droite is a lovely small friendly and luxurios hotel. We loved it and had a river view room with a nice terrass overlooking the river. The staff was nice and especially the assistant manager who was so helpsome and kind. We borrowed bikes during the day and took the hotels river boat in the evening. We relaxed around the pool and most of the time it was peaceful and quiet. I was surprised to ser that there were small kids since I had seen on the internet that kids under 12 were not allowed! Of course it 's hard for young kids to talk quitely and not to yell and laugh loudly so I think it would be better in such a quiet place not to let kids stay there. When you travel without your kids you don't want to be awakened by other kids and you want to have breakfast and other meals in quiet surroundings. It could be old information but there still is information on certain sites that kids are not allowed. It's a super nice place and I really recommended it!Tugu Bali: "Aesthetic delights"
"Hotel Tugu is a different hotel than most, and for me - better. Why? I stayed in a suite, more expensive than my custom but I loved the space, the views, the lily pond below and the style of accommodation. The idea of Tugu is that it houses a collection of antique Indonesia art - which I loved - and the hotel itself is designed to be congruent with the art it houses. So you have a place with a quality of history, of character and of class - all at the same time. It is comfortable, the facilities are excellent, I ate extremely well and most noticeably, I was so well looked after by all of the staff there. "As a Family of 10 in the age between 8 and 70 (three generations), we were very excited and a bit nervous if the GB was able to fullfill our needs and interests. ALL our worries were proved wrong!! We spent 9 days at MER and loved it! The Water Cottage was fantastic. Snorkellers are looked after very well with Novi and Nelson guiding and Tahir driving, making sure we saw everything we could. "I came to Siem Reap for a mix between work and leisure and Samar Villa was the perfect fit. First, as I saw in many reviews, Bertrand and his team are always very attentive to our every need. They helped us organize various functions: from meals in unique restaurants, to temples visits and surprising platform rental with full service on Tonle Sap. We and our clients left absolutely delighted by our stay. Apart from this wonderful service, the villa itself is remarkable. The owners have impeccable taste and a beautiful collection of antiques throughout the public areas and rooms. My suite was spacious and homey and spotless, like I've rarely seen. Breakfast and the food in general were very good and generous. All in all, I highly recommend it and look forward to a 2nd visit."
