Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Book this safari experience!"
"Everything about our experience was fabulous. We have stayed in some pretty swanky places on this holiday but the food served to us out of a jungle kitchen was the best. The guys were helpful and really fun to be with. We were lucky enough to see a huge male leopard and lots of other amazing animals. We stayed in the luxury air conditioned tent - my best sleep of the holiday. Everything had been thought of. I can not recommend them more highly. Other companies have tried to copy but failed."Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Didn’t know what to expect and had a memorable evening"
A relaxed environment, not at all pretentious. You can eat inside or out. This was booked way ahead, which we understand is necessary. Wonderful, imaginative food, served without fuss, but just attentive enough.Samanea Beach Resort: "a hidden jewel"
An excellent place for quiet relaxing, a small place with much personal charm. Very nice and helpful staff, excellent food, very nice premises and very good installations. The only drawback is the lack of a proper beach.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "The Best – Delicious food, wine, amazing service"
"This was easily the best meal we ate in Cambodia. It was absolutely brilliant. The food was incredible. It uses Cambodian flavours with modern techniques and presentation. Most importantly though, everything tasted divine. Great wine list and excellent recommendations from the chef. Cocktails were also great. Service was perfect, friendly and helpful. Loved to see the chef speaking to people in the restaurant. Overall, cannot fault this meal and experience. Absolutely loved it."Villa Song Saigon: "Just perfect"
"Villa song is a little gem of a boutique hotel by the Saigon river away from busy HCMC, which can be reached by free shuttle in under 25 min. It has a pool which is a godsend after a hot day in town. The room was lovely spacious and well appointed from the Nespresso machine, kettle, free mini bar, apple tv remote if you wish to download some stuff... i could go on and on. (...) The personnel was very attentive eager to help always with a smile and well organized, which is a credit to the management team. This was the most perfect way to end our tour of Vietnam, we left on a high note though wishing we had stayed longer. I don't think you will find anything better that this hidden gem"Chakrabongse Villas: "A real oasis – beautiful and worth every cent :)"
"Chakrabongse Villas is a really luxurious boutique hotel. We were guests here for 3 nights in April, and we wanted for nothing. We were offered a welcome cocktail when we arrived late in the evening, and our villa was traditional Thai style, and it was well appointed, clean and cool. We had a lovely private balcony overlooking the garden, with fresh flowers, pool towels, daybeds and shade aplenty. Having large villas, lovely gardens and only a handful of villas, we hardly ever saw another guest! We enjoyed the pool and the activity on the river, which we were on the banks of. Grounds are very private, with locked gates. Staff are unobtrusive but efficient, and the clamour, heat and bustle of Bangkok stops at the gates, and you enter a true oasis of calm and luxury. The riverside restaurant is also lovely and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast there each morning, with exquisite service, lovely food, and tourism advice as required. We took their longtail boat tour through the canals one afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was reasonably priced, too. One night we ate at the restaurant for dinner, and really, we were treated like royalty. A treat for the soul, and lovely, simple set menu, deliciously prepared. It was my husband's birthday one day, and they gave him a lovely gift. Add all of this together, and you have an exemplary service provider. Expensive but as i say, well worth it. Congratulations Chakrabongse crew, keep up the good work! Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"Inle Princess Resort: "Magical place"
I have enjoyed every minute of the stay at Inle princess. Not only that it's such a lovely, green place with lots of flowers and greenery but also the services quality is impressive. Staff is always eager to run an extra mile to make your stay unforgettable, and the best part of it is how genuinely and kind are they. Last, I've met Sasha, their adorable Burmese cat and she has just stolen my heartTiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Exquisite mountain lodge situated 1000 feet above Pokhara Valley"
Stayed two nights at this marvelous mountain lodge that sits on a hilltop ridge overlooking the Pokhara Valley. Your "room" is actually a very spacious, luxurious, comfortable, hand cut stone bungalow blending naturally into their surroundings and sited to maximize the breathtaking vistas of the valley and Himalayas mountains. Each room has a private verandah and set in private gardens. There is an infinity pool with unmatched views of the mountains. The main lodge with both in and outdoor dining facilities and patios to enjoy the valley and mountain views is very, very nice. Our first night there were just three couples and we enjoyed a lively discussion over dinner. The second night had a large group of 19 guests which didn't "take over the space" since the bungalows are spread out and all very private. Most enjoyable stay here after our three days of trekking. Great place to begin your trekking experience or to recuperate afterwards. Most relaxing and the restaurant offerings are top notch, as is the staff and the manager, Mark. Thank you for a wonderful stay!Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Feels like staying in a 19th century building"
The property still retains its original feel, as the owners have used professional building conservation methods to restore the building instead of totally revamping the interior in accordance to modern interior design concepts. Recommend to attend the daily guided tours to know more about the history of the building and its 1st owner, Cheong Fatt Sze.Talabgaon Castle: "A peaceful stay in a beautiful heritage property"
"This property is just fabulous. We were there for two nights and I must say we had a lovely time there. The place was so calm and the ambience was amazing. The food was delicios and the staff really courteous, always at your disposal to make sure you dont have any issues. Since it was my parents 25th Anniversary, tey happily arranged a cake and a beautiful table at the terrace so that we could welcome the occassion under the sky full of stars. I must salute the staff for the cleanliness they have maintained. And last bust not the least, the owner is really humble and polite. He too comes, and spends sometime with you and makes you feel at home. All in all, A must visit!!!"
