Heritage Suites Hotel: "Truly remarkable staff from top to bottom!"
"I acquired a two nights stay at the heritage suites through a silent auction in Shanghai. I was unable make it to Cambodia before the expiration date of the room nights. The general manager was cool enough to extend the time frame and after staying I am more grateful to the management than before! Beautiful rooms, affordable and world class food and beverage! But the true highlight our stay was the hotels staff! All were outstanding in both service and attitude. Rathner , the server by the pool was a standout but really all of them truly seemed to care about the guests here. The adventures office staff set us up with a private boat tour, personal driver, helicopter tour. Take their advice on everything!! They are right! The front desk are all pros and made sure all of our needs were met and checking was seamless. I wish I could remember everyone's name but trust me, they are all very good at what they do. The owners of this property have truly been blessed with a Fantastic staff and I will definitely be back to see them again. The temples are beautiful but the people at this property made this trip special for us. Well done!"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Neeleshwar Hermitage peaceful and comfortable"
"Do not be put off by the proud boast that Monty Don has been a visitor, this is a very nice hotel indeed. The bungalow style rooms are very nicely appointed, comfortable, and even the cheaper rooms are spacious. When booking, look at the hotel plan on the hotel website and they will try to book you into your selected choice. During our stay the hotel was occupied almost entirely by English couples of a certain age so do not expect a great deal of exited activity, but that is not the point of this hotel. It is quiet, peaceful, and a great place to recover from a journey to the subcontinent and recover from jetlag. The gardens in which the rooms are set are beautifully kept. The staff are a delight, have good english, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is very good; there are two restaurants which is a good effort from a relatively small property. This hotel is highly recommended. There is one quirk. Visitors to Kerala should know that very few hotels have full liquor licences. Neeleshwar Hermitage supply a very limited but entirely satisfactory choice of wines and very cold beer at a fair price for a top Indian hotel. I don't think spirits are available at all, soft drinks like Coca cola are strongly discouraged as their own enormous selection of fresh juices are provided. Try their freshly squeezed orange juice with your contraband duty free gin. There is no fridge in your room. Booking seven months ahead we were not able to incorporate a trip on their boat 'Lotus' so I can't report on this but it is clearly a popular choice. Room Tip: Look at the hotel plan on the hotel website and request it on making your reservation"Tugu Lombok: "Magical place"
"I remember we arrived at Tugu around 9pm. While checking in two families arrived. They were on the same flight we were from Singapore. Looking all around I exclaimed ""What a beautiful place!""... And the guy next to me replied ""It's a magical place!"" That's what Tugu is. A magical place. It's not a luxury place, it may not be the best hotel you've ever been! But it may very well be an experience you will never forget. We enjoyed the Villa, the different places where we had dinners, the beach, the excursion to the Gili islands and overall we enjoyed the people. Thank you for let us fell so well! "Tugu Bali: "Romantic 10 year anniversary celebration"
"This was the perfect place to have a night away from our 5 year old to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! We felt like we were a million miles away in the serene setting provided by the hotel. This is a must for any trip to Bali! The cultural night on Thursday adds such a special touch to our evening! "Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A Unique and Amazing Hotel – Incredible service!"
"We wanted something a bit special for our stay in Penang and to capture the feel of the culture rather than stay in a plain hotel - simply, this property is amazing. The rooms are fantastic and you really feel like you are stepping into a piece of history! The food was great and there are additional benefits like easy free parking, easy walking access to the sights of georgetown and free tour of the mansion which is one of main tourist attractions on the island. The staff could not have done more, in fact we owe them a HUGE thank you because in our rush to leave the room we left our passports in the hotel safe. We only realised when we were 4 hours south of Penang, we needed to fly on Monday and it was a weekend and there were no courier companies working. The General Manager arranged for one of the staff to drive all the way to us to deliver the passports by 10am on Sunday!!! Unbelievable. 100% recommend staying here if possible or visiting for the tour!"Jing’s Residence: "Give the bar a visit and the restaurant a try, even if you don’t stay here."
Lovely place. Look carefully for the oversized, unpainted wooden doors, push them in, and you will be welcomed to a quiet respite with an award winning design, asian inspired western style dishes, attentive staff and a drinkable wine selection. A few choices of red, white and sparkling are available by the glass as well as the carafe, if you choose not to get a bottle. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The food is fresh and well prepared, without the grease or too much salt, that many of the local dishes are overloaded with. The atmosphere comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Jing restaurant, hotel and spa, is not for the budget minded traveler. The prices are city prices plus service charge. Even so, if you wish to celebrate a special day or create a memorable moment why not have a glass of bubbly or specialty cocktail in their second floor bar looking out onto a simply decorated, peaceful courtyard? It will make you smile.Villa Song Saigon: "Could not be better"
"We just came back from out trip to vietnam. While in saigon we stayed 4 nights in this beautiful villa. The villa is far from city, but its next to river and they have their own a very nice speed boat which can take you to the city and pick u up back to hotel (they have schedule when the boat go n back to hotel) it took around 15-20 minutes. So everyday we could enjoy the hustle bustle of saigon city and when we back to villa, we have the quiet, nice, cozy place to relax.. And beautiful view. I will definitely be back to this hotel whenever I visit Saigon in the future. But for the traveller who really into big hotel with so many rooms, crowded n just want to see the city just outside the hotel door, this isnt the place for them"tugu bali: "Excellent service and homely feel"
"Absolutely fantastic service. I have never experienced more genuine and attentive service from our arrival to departure. Simply flawless. Love the maze like garden with canals and fishes. Rooms are good a bit run down, but all is made up by the fantastic staff! Well worth a visit!! World class service in a stunning surrounding. "Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Fantastic! A must to be here"
This camp is one of my best experience during my journey in Sri Lanka. I can really recommend this place. Everything is very good organized, everyone from staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic! Best food ever in whole Sri Lanka. Price is absolute justified. Safari trip was very nice too, staff is very competent, even on safari are drinks and snacks organised!Satri House: "Unique hotel with lovely staff"
The Satri House is an unusual French colonial style property with lots of beautiful art pieces. The one downside is no TV if you require it. However there is a lovely sitting room with books. The breakfasts are beautifully made to order with homemade jams. The staff couldn't be more helpful. There are 2 pools and lovely beautifully tended grounds.
