Rachamankha: "Secret Escape"

Review by: Jtung74 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I stayed at the Rachmankha last year and was very impressed. At the end of my stay we decided to enquire about booking the hotel to celebrate my partners birthday for November this year. Since then we have had a lot of email exchange with Wanida. She is always very accommodating and helpful and very quick in responding - we knew we were in good hands. Let me start with the cons of the hotel. It is not a brand new property and some hardware (especially bedroom and bathroom in superior rooms) could benefit from a renovation; the service by the pool could also be a problem sometimes due to language barrier. However those are the only improvement I could think of. The hotel is tucked away on the West side of the old town. It's so peaceful and quiet but you can also walk to any part of the old town easily. Being a small property it has a very intimate and cozy feel to it, and the public area is just stunning - beautiful pool, stunning public lounge and garden and great flower arrangement in the restaurant. Breakfast is a highlight. They had some simple buffet spread of juices, cold cut, bread, yoghurt and fruit, and you can order two items from the a la carte menu. It was a very relaxing experience to have breakfast in the sunny courtyard to start the day. We also had dinners at the hotel. Again the courtyard provides a great set up for a romantic evening thanks to the local Thai music (live instrument) and the decoration of the place. We host a celebration dinner at the courtyard. The team has put in a lot of efforts to make it a memorable evening. The pool area is always nice to spend your day, or just for a dip after a hot day in Chinag Mai or Elephant Nature Park. The hotel does not accept children so the place is quiet. Few of my friends had massages by the pool and they were all happy with the treatment. We were very happy we came back to this lovely hotel and in fact few of us are already planning for our next trip. I have stayed at so many hotels globally, but Rachmankha is just a special place."

KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Ko Samui Vacation"

Review by: suklingleung | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Good location, around 15mins drive from airport, 2 mins walk to Maenam Beach and 5 to 10 mins walk to shops. Yet, quiet and private in the resort. The villas are tastefully decorated, beautiful paintings inside n outside, full kitchen, good coffee maker, nice European furintures with swimming pool. Staffs are very attentive n good service. "

Supanniga Eating Room: "Food overdose"

Review by: H17K | Source: Trip Advisor
The menu is very extensive from fish to vegetarian. Lovely ambience albeit the size of the restaurant. Gets pretty busy during peak hours. The prices are not expensive but the quality is almost fine dining.

Tugu Lombok: "Beautiful hotel on a beautiful beach"

Review by: aurascudders | Source: tripadvisor.com
We stayed four nights in a Bhaghavat Gita suite which we would certainly recommend. The suite has its own garden with a large plunge pool and then you're straight onto the wonderful white sand Sire beach. The suite also has a private front garden which includes the semi-outdoor bathroom. Our daughters stayed in a kampong bungalow directly beind our villa which was perfectly adequate and a lot cheaper! You can eat on the beach or in various other places around the site - we chose the roof of the Temple-like spa. Best to book these in advance - there is no where else to eat unless you drive for about 30 mins into Sengigi - we didn't bother as the food was good and varied, with both local and international dishes (mainly Italian). The restaurant is open-sided and overlooks the pool, which was never crowded (don't think all the rooms were full when we were there). We took the dragon boat trip to snorkel at the Gili Isles which was good fun, and we saw a turtle.

Labyrinth: "A great introduction to Singaporean flavors"

Review by: Samantha H | Source: Trip Advisor
I loved the tasting menu but it is definitely one of the more heavier ones despite it only having 10 dishes. Worthy of its Michelin star and the experience was incredible. I recommend it to anyone who is visiting

Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Boutique luxury off the beaten track"

Review by: ChrisIbish | Source: Trip Advisor
Mrauk Oo Princess Resort, a sister hotel of the more prominent Inle Princess Resort, is by far the best accommodation option in town. Each of the 23 spacious, dark wood- dominated villas represents a blend of traditional furnishings and modern amenities. Both the restaurant (overlooking the lotus dotted pond) and the spa (situated on the bank of the river) are designed with an artistic touch. The landscaping is also easy on the eyes. At the time of my visit, the swimming pool was not at the visitors’ disposal but it has recently changed; from October 2015 hotel guests can cool down from the tropical heat with a splash in a 45 feet long swimming pool. The hotel staff are very friendly and can help you organize sightseeing around the temple complex or day trips to Chin villages and Wethali etc. Staying at Mrauk Oo Princess Resort gives you the rare opportunity to experience the remote, unspoiled Myanmar without compromising on the quality of your accommodation.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Relaxing"

Review by: JAWSBE01 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This hotel is excellent, I will certainly return. From the pick up at the airport, tea on route and the well appointed rooms I really can't fault it, the views from anywhere in the hotel are breathtaking, the food, although limited in choice is excellent, if you like walking and enjoy peace and quite this would be a great choice, additionaly the tea plantation and working factory are a great visit. Room Tip: A room with walk in shower is a good choice"

Les Maisons d’Itac: "Amazing!"

Review by: Riss2013 | Source: Trip Advisor
I've travelled a lot and this is one of THE best places I've ever stayed. It's truly beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful, and particularly Brian. We stayed in the bamboo hut, it's stunning and romantic. The grounds are peaceful and tranquil and are a little piece of paradise. They have gorgeous dogs that make you feel at home. A couple of downsides was we found the food a little repetitive so opted to eat out in the evening and you are a 30 min drive to Moalboal. However it's totally worth the effort, we were diving every day so we went in each day and the driver was reliable and on time and it was cost effective. I love this place and will be back. Highly recommend

Satri House: "Lovely, lovely hotel"

Review by: William A | Source: Trip Advisor
We really enjoyed our stay here. Really friendly staff, from the GM downwards. They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Stunning property, and well placed for exploring Luang Prabang, which is easily the nicest place we visited in Laos. We can't recommend this hotel too highly - it's a great stay.

Summertime Villa: "Beyond all expectations"

Review by: JC349 | Source: Trip Advisor
"What a treat to stay at Summertime for Christmas and the New Year. The house lives up to all the expectations of their website and more. So much space and beautifully maintained. Great pool just the right temperature to cool down or to do laps. Excellent house staff looked after all our needs and produced delicious meals when we stayed in including an excellent Goan Christmas dinner and lobster for New Years Eve. Located very conveniently for accessing the coastal strip but far enough away to feel like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Hans and Sucheta the owners are lovely people and great hosts. They took us out for an evening cruise upriver which was a lot of fun. Thank you for everything."
