Sanak Retreat Bali: "perfect for relaxing"
This retreat was so dreamy. The room is stunning, with the option to open up the whole room with sliding glass doors. Food was very good. We did the trek to a waterfall with Gusti ( our guide). He was so lovely, very smiley and friendly. He explained the local work and introduced us to the local people. We were delighted to have such a great tour guide. We also did a spa treatment, I have to say it was the best massage in Bali. This Retreat is surrounded by nature. It is so charming, I would recommend for light sleepers to bring ear plugs. The sound of frogs, birds and the river was very peaceful.Nimmu House: "Absolutely wonderful"
Nimmu House is a boutique hotel 45 minutes from Leh. It's a wonderful place to stay: the charm of the old house, the fruit trees garden, the personalised service... The rooms are clean and beautifully renovated, as well as the rest of the house. The food is excellent and for all tastes. And the aperitif around the bonfire is a must!: "True gastronomy in Udonthani"
Might be the only restaurant in the northeast that has strong gastronomic concept, similar to those with Michelin stars or World’s 50 Best rank. We did their 10 course tasting menu. Every dish was presented in a modern way but used the ingredients that are very sustainable, local ,and mostly can only be found in Isan (Northeast). Even I’m a Thai I was quite surprised that 50% of the vegetables used are those I never heard of. They also focus on “food as a medicine” concept too and they are eager to explain the benefits of each ingredient. A la carte menu is also amazing. Even we were very full we couldn’t resist ordering Crispy Pork with Tamarind Chili Paste...loved it. And don’t forget the dessert...grand finale:)Villa Song Saigon: "Great place with a great view"
"We love this place, especially for breakfast or lunch or just a cup of coffee. Look out over the river and relax. We went here with my son of 6 months, they are very baby friendly. They provide a high chair and baby bowl. The staff is very helpful. The food is very good, we had breakfast there and that is great. Choice of different types of breakfast. For lunch we had fish and chips and a duck salad! Very good. Try it out!"Rachamankha: "We had a perfect time!"
"Perfectly romantic for our Honeymoon. Great service (booking tours, printing documents needed...) Very good breakfast (fewer items but all very fresh) Gorgeous architecture, amazing swimming pool, great location to explore the old city on foot or by tuc tuc. Can´t remember any downside of this place"Satri House: "elegant and family friendly"
we stayed as 2 parents, 2 children and a grandparent. We were conveniently given 2 adjoining rooms, both gorgeous and spacious. Satri house is larger than expected and very pretty, I kept getting lost on the way to breakfast! The 2 swimming pools were fantastic and refreshing. The staff were all very friendly, even when we were struggling to communicate! Julie and Gianni are very helpful and kind. My husband loved their Lao whiskey! One morning we got up at 4.30am to see the morning alms. However we found there were monks just in front of the hotel which was very beautiful to see. Our kids treasure the little Hill tribe dolls they were each given as we sadly departed. Although it is not right in the heart of Luang Prabang, it was an easy walk and easier tuk tuk away. Highly recommended!Mathis Retreat: "au calme pres de ubud"
Hotel very pleasant due to its location and comfort. Comfortable room with small private garden. A small mention for the very cheerful hotel manager and compétente..Petit flat hotel was virtually empty so lack of ambiance.Premier hotel of our stay charrming BALI has 3 nights in 4 different boutique hotel.MesaStila: "Heavenly Abode"
Firstly, you are surrounded by 7 mountains. The scenery at MesaStila is breathtaking. This is the Java you have been searching for. You are also on the grounds of a working, organic coffee plantation, whose history dates back to the Dutch times in Java. Afternoons are my favourite here (yes, I am a long term fan of this place and have been visiting since 2001) and you can wallow around the original colonial plantation house, which is drenched in the afternoon sun and as the light softly fads and disappears behind the towering mountains you are served a "high tea" - a complimentary coffee and tea service just to make you really feel at home. It is a real experience staying here. I would recommend flying into Semerang, as its only 45 mins on the toll road. The service is impeccable and the villas which grace the grounds are spacious and all antique, lovingly presented with the finest of antiques. You simply have to go.Villa Song: "Double 0 Seven. Eat and sleep your heart out."
"Had the pleasure of checking in here on first visit to HCMC upon recommendation. If you want a stylish hotel with service , comfort , location & general ambience look no further. With the Saigon River flowing by, carrying all manner of traffic from vessels plying their trade to rafts of Hyacinth, one feels at peace as you sit on the terrace with a view doing your Trip A reviews. This is a cracking place, staff are great, always smiling and happy to help. A river Taxi operates from the hotel jetty to the city which transports you in pure 007 style. Has a fab pool area where you can loaf to your hearts content. Rooms are modern with all comforts attended to. Nice bathroom, everything works and more. Yes, enjoyed it here very much. An oasis of comfort, peace from the bustle and noise of the great HCMC. & life in general. "Dewakan: "Top of the World"
3 Michelin stars ! We ordered only the 5 course menu, but they served at least 4 more dishes as complimentary. Dewakan is a must, if you have the opportunity to visit. My pictures shall tell the rest …
