Summertime Villa: "Beautiful Villa, Great Location"
"The villa is absolutely fantastic in terms of decor and amenities. Designed and built by the owners, every artifact in the house has been very carefully selected. It's a a beautiful home best experienced personally as no pictures can do justice to the beauty of the place. It's managed very professionally with very accomodating staff. The location though is the best part, just off main Calangute road with easy access to beaches, restaurants and other fun activities. Kudos to the owner Hans, who is an extremely warm person and knows a lot about hospitality and how to keep his guests comfortable."Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song – a boutique gem with a surprisingly nice pool"
great place - friendly staff - good attention to detail - really nice pool and all next to the river plus a free boat ride to the city takes about 15 mins Great garden / restaurant bar/grill 5 mins taxi ride away called The Patio if you don't want to dine by the river at the hotelVilla Song Saigon: "Elegant hotel on the Saigon River"
"We started our vacation in Vietnam in this elegant hotel. It looks and feels like British colonial times. We ate our breakfasts on the banks of the Saigon river and had delicious food there. Our room was on the third floor and there are no elevators. We never carried our suitcases - the service was wonderful. We were looking for a place to eat and the staff told us where locally they went to eat and we had a delicious lunch there. We took their water taxi into the city and it was a treat to ride on the river in that way. The pool there is lovely and staff are around to take care of your every need. We couldn't have had a better start to a fabulous two weeks in Vietnam. "Sukoon Houseboat: "Splendid, luxurious, perfect spot to start travel through North of India"
"A couple of days on Sukoon prepared us for an extraordinary trip through Kashmir, Zanskar and Ladakh. Fine, not too spicy high cuisine, served on the roof... Ideal place to get a rest after the heat of Srinagar and surrounding visits. Very helpful, friendly crew, treating the guests like royalties. For us, travellers with the group of Explore the Himalaya, this place meant the changeover from a stressed mind to a first feeling of piece of mind. If I had been into yoga, I would have found a terrific spot in the early mornings... Instead, I enjoyed the coffee(s) on the covered roof terrace with some members of the group to chill out to let all impressions of the day sink (and be checked on my camera). If there is one thing I regretted, it's the fact you cannot swim in the lake as it is not safe for us and somewhat polluted(although that is being worked at I read). To conclude, this is the best spot to stay over while visiting this area, wether by boat, taxi or hiking! Enjoy! "Rachamankha: "A superb and authentic boutique hotel"
This place has everything I am looking for in a boutique hotel: charm, character, personality, style, comfort and more. Every single detail has clearly been thought through by someone of great taste and the result projects unpretentious refinement. The location is also excellent as well as the restaurant and service. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this hotel.Sanak Retreat Bali: "Peaceful stay in the middle of the rice fields"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Sanak Retreat. The villas two bedrooms are comfortable in the middle of the rice fields. The food is excellent, the spa is amazing and the staff is friendly. I recommend a trek of 3 hours to the Banuatis waterfalls.sandat glamping: "HEAVEN in ubud"
stayed here for 3 nights, and could have stayed for 3 months. loved sleeping in the middle of the rice paddies outside of ubud. the staff was very welcoming and the decor was incredible. highly highly recommend!Manukan Island Resort: "Staff are there main asset"
"We visited here for a 4 night short holiday at the end of our main holiday in Malaysia. We were very impressed with all the staff at the resort. They excel in customer service and really do go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We made some comments about the breakfast ( not covered / few flies buzzing around) - it was addressed straightway, professionally. The chalet we had was very nice and enjoyed having our little beach to come and go as we please. Everywhere is very clean. The island it self doesn't have a huge choice of things to do, other than snorkel, and is definitely bring a book place. The island is busy during the day with day trippers but it's great at night when you get it you self - you get to wander about, sat on the jetty watching the fish. There a few good food choices - the main restaurant is good - slightly more expressive than mainland but then food is imported. You might get tired of the menu after a few days - a refresh or daily specials would be good. It's doesn't offer a huge number of options for families but if you just want somewhere to relax and watch the world go by with excellent services I would recommend."RACHAMANKHA: "Slice of heaven in Chiang Mai"
"This hotel was absolutely beautiful and a refuge to come home to after a day strolling the busy streets of Chiang Mai. There is always a wonderful aroma of incense around the property...I think it was Sandalwood, but nevertheless was just delicious. The rooms were spacious and the bed was so comfortable, again after a long day. The lounges that surround the property are also delightful and I just wish I had had more time to sit and read and enjoy a drink while enjoying the decor. It is an elegant property, yet not stuffy and very welcoming. "Pindaya Farm House: "Warmly Welcomed"
We so much enjoyed our time at Thahara Pindaya that we considered extending our stay and cancelling our trip to Mrauk U! We loved Pindaya and this farm house stay was a big influence on the overall experience. As strange as this might sound, staying at Thahara was a memorable highlight of our second visit to Myanmar. Conversations with hosts Aye Aye and Ko Yangon provided deeper insights to the community we would have otherwise missed. All reasonable requests can be satisfied by the hosts and their extended network of family and friends. The accommodations are well appointed, and the meals are out of this world.
