Villa Song Saigon: "Magnificent hotel and fantastic staff"

Review by: amyandm0 | Source: Trip Advisor
Villa Song really is an impressive hotel, set in pristine grounds on the banks of the Saigon River in District 2. My family and I had the most divine stay, which coincided with both of my parents' birthdays. In addition to the accommodating staff who were considerate of my family's needs, my parents were treated like royalty and were each presented with a beautiful bunch of flowers and a cake at breakfast. The rooms were fabulous and plush, the free mini bar was a really nice touch. We took the extremely convenient shuttle speed boat to the centre of town along the Saigon River and we also enjoyed an afternoon relaxing by the pool in luxury. Highly recommended place to stay, thank you so much to Ms. Thuy and all the staff for helping to make our stay so memorable.

Satri House: "Why weren’t we warned"

Review by: Steve P | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here specifically to have some R&R after a hectic week touring in Vietnam. The reviews specifically state that this is a quiet retreat full of peace and tranquility. We were aware that we were visiting at the time of New Year celebrations - indeed we thoroughly enjoyed the carnival atmosphere in the town. However we were dismayed to find that our ""quiet"" retreat at Satri House was some 100 metres from a large festival site pumping out very loud house / dance music (noise) all afternoon to at least 19.30. This continued for every day of our stay which ruined our intended relaxation before our move onto Cambodia. Our complaint to the Manager fell on deaf ears and no compensation was offered which we find unacceptable. Such a shame as the Satri House has much to commend it. Front of house reception were excellent as were the rooms and the food. However there is much room for improvement / training required for the dining staff! We would suggest anyone wanting to stay over New Year or at any other times when the site is in use think very carefully before committing to stay here."

Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Another visit, another success!!"

Review by: Tim Z | Source: Trip Advisor
"I have been coming here on and off for a couple of years now and I am yet to be disappointed - this place is just very consistent and you can tell the head chef is actively keeping on top of his game with new creations as the seasons change! Anyone looking for exciting takes on classics, sustainable ingredients cooked with passion in a welcoming environment (and healthy glasses of wine paired) you really can't fault the place! Keep up the great work guys!!"

Le Calao: "Fantastic meal"

Review by: Roopet9 | Source: Trip Advisor
Highly recommend this newly opened restaurant in an old colonial building - service, views, food - everything was great. A bit more expensive than other places in Luang Prabang but absolutely worth it.

The Apsara Rive Droite: ""

Review by: Joanne K | Source: Trip Advisor
Superb lunch sat with gorgeous view over Nan Khan river. Quiet street away from the busy old town. Beautiful presentation, fresh unusual flavours without too much added spice. We tried the yellow pumpkin, eggplant, bamboo, green bean curry- wonderful. Also lemongrass and coriander fishcakes on cucumber salad. Delicious.

Yandabo Home: "wonderful facility"

Review by: Lucdu95 | Source: Trip Advisor
Located along the river we were lucky only d.etre overnight. Serenities a bubble in the middle of nowhere. The bungalow is new, spacious beautifully decorated with a large bathroom. The staff is on hand to make this place unique. The restaurant is very good with traditional cuisine. Breakfast is served at the table and croissants come from afar to satisfy customers. Do not miss .

Mume: "The perfect place for dinner"

Review by: LeilaLT | Source: Trip Advisor
"I read about Mume just days before a quick trip to Taipei and to my luck the restaurant had availability! I loved the relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, open kitchen and how the design of the restaurant makes good use of the space. The size of the tables are very comfortable and you are seated at a nice distance from other guests. Cocktails were of course delicious and the food was fantastic. Everything we ordered was perfectly balanced in flavour, texture and appearance. Each dish showed creativity, brought excitement and every bite was wonderful. The waiters and waitresses were very sweet. Thank you to everybody, front of house and kitchen, for the incredible meal!"

The Cabochon Hotel: "Great central Bangkok hotel"

Review by: nicolecostello | Source: Trip Advisor
Small and secluded, this boutique hotel was a lucky find. Situated in a lovely area of Bangkok, the hotel has beautifully decorated rooms and a fantastic rooftop pool (see photos) Staff go out of their way to assist. Reasonably priced.

Rachamankha: "Best choice in Chiang Mai"

Review by: TandTSwitzerland | Source: Trip Advisor
"Located in the old town, next to the main temples (actually one of the most famous temples, Wat Pra Singh is next door). Very quiet location, perfect to escape after a long day of sightseeing. Very nice decor, very classy. Spread out, small (only 25 rooms), very quiet all over, you can really relax. Nice rooms (I recommend the deluxe rooms as they are much bigger and nicer). Also the library, the pool area, the spa are nice. Very friendly and nice staff. They do their best to accommodate you. For me best option in town - classy and quiet (it used to be a Relais & Chateau before)"
