Dewakan: "Molecular gastronomy and haute cuisine for traditional Malay flavours"

Review by: LondonConyers | Source: Trip Advisor
"The best meal I have ever eaten, and my wife thought the same. And we have eaten in a lot of excellent restaurants around the world. This relatively new restaurant must be heading for a Michelin star before very long. The 10 course tasting menu included some of the finest and most surprising dishes I have ever tasted. Outrageously bold and delicious flavour and texture combinations using traditional Malay flavours and local ingredients, served with genuine flair for presentation. The staff provide wonderful service in this small restaurant currently housed in KDU university buildings. Go. Go soon before it becomes impossible to get a table. Go so you can tell people you supported this chef and this restaurant before they were famous."

Slow Villas and Spa: "Wonderful honeymoon get-away"

Review by: Lucy S | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I spent two nights on Gili Air as part of our honeymoon and were very happy with our stay at the Slow Villas. From the welcoming folks at reception to the lovely spa staff, everyone was very nice and accommodating. The island can be quite rustic (i.e., intermittent power loss, transportation by horse-drawn carriage, etc ) but the Slow Villas provide a more modern, luxurious option (private villa and pool) with its own rustic charm (outdoor bathroom, mosquito net, etc). Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting to the island. Stayed September 2016, traveled as a couple"

Jing’s Residence: "Superb accommodation, sensational food and Imam is the best!"

Review by: Carol_and_Michael_W | Source: Trip Advisor
"Jing's Residence is sensational in every respect. Imam who is the resident manager is a wonderful fellow who greets you in a personal and intimate manner every time you see him.....he makes you think that you are the only person/people staying there and he is there just for you.....and yes he also possesses a great sense of humour. Upon check in you are provided with all the information that you need and are served a cool ginger tea with dates.....what a great way to be welcomed. Nothing is too much for him or his team! Breakfast was scrumptious with their cappuccino nice and hot. Dinner was 1st class, we chose two dishes with rice and the duck with seasonal fruit (duck is my favourite) was actually bettered by the chicken with preserved ginger. We finished up with their handmade apple turnover which is a house delicacy and was outrageously good! The afternoon tea ceremony is not to be missed, it's served upstairs in the lounge area and the little tray of delicacies that are served with your choice of tea were yummy. Dates, bananas, apricots, a free mini bar with chocolate, soft drinks, beer, orange juice that was replenished everyday and the toiletries provided are a nice touch. The little gift left the night before was a surprise and then the addition of red Chinese tags on your luggage is a good reminder of your visit to this beautiful restored courtyard property. We had Imam and three of the team come out and wave us goodbye.....sigh I will miss staying there, it's a long way from Australia to China for a long weekend! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g325575-d1536016-r376919666-Jing_s_Residence-Pingyao_County_Shanxi.html#"

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Interesting architecture"

Review by: jim_s69 | Source: Trip Advisor
Interesting architecture in this sympathetically restored heritage hotel with interesting history as a home prior to conversion to a very comfortable hotel. Has been used as a film set due to authentic exterior, Lots of information available

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "For the rest of your life"

Review by: johnnersgm | Source: Trip Advisor
"""For the rest of your life"" is quite a claim. We were both frazzled and so it was an easy claim to sign up for. Neeleshwar Hermitage totally delivered. The setting on the edge of the Arabian Sea is pretty special: for miles and miles of sandy beach and the rhythm of the waves wherever you are, enjoying yoga, breakfast at the beach restaurant or the infinity pool that looks out over the sea. The Ayurvedic Spa is where the relaxation really delivers with the spa team providing the best massages and treatments totally restoring mind, body, and spirit which were far from balanced on arrival. Having warm oil gently running on my forehead took me gently into a very deep sleep. The detox package we had opted for prescribed vegetarian food which Is not my usual menu, but the North Kerala recipes mixing spices and herbs were excellent. The whole experience was delivered by a delightful team throughout the resort. Sadly we had to leave after our allotted week and did so in a very different state than when we arrived. ""For the rest of your life"" indeed. "

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Lost in Paradise"

Review by: Grace R | Source: Trip Advisor
This is not a hotel but Paradise. So beautiful with a nice garden. Room is very very big with simple decoration but very convenient. We love the scenery around the hotel, it is wonderful. Sitting at the middle of the nature, reading a good book and drinking a cocktail. It was the most relaxing moment in my life

Supanniga Eating Room: "Awesome:)"

Review by: nik4444 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a hotel in Thonglor and we passed by this place looking for some food, the sign said Isaan food, and with the wife being from Isaan, we had to go in! Full bar including wines, but the food was delicious. Good comprehensive menu, and the place was so busy. We had a few dishes, rice each and 5 bottles of Singha. Bill came to just under 1000 baht, half for food, half for beer We will definitely go back! Thank you team Supanniga ❤️"

Supanniga Eating Room: "So much goodness"

The crab is fabulous, but I can't get enough of the wing bean salad. I know, salad right? But is just so good.

Supanniga Eating Room: "Great Thai food, not great street food but delicious nonetheless"

Review by: khonkaen | Source: Trip Advisor
We stop by for dinner every year here and are never disappointed. It’s a nice looking restaurant lively and well designed. Staff is courteous friendly and takes care of the customers. Food is delicious, clean (no msg), served quickly. Prices are ok, plates are small so order a lot. We ordered a crab prik thai dish ( most expensive item on the menu (600 baht)) and it was fantastic. See you next year

Satri House: "Lovely, lovely hotel"

Review by: William A | Source: Trip Advisor
We really enjoyed our stay here. Really friendly staff, from the GM downwards. They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Stunning property, and well placed for exploring Luang Prabang, which is easily the nicest place we visited in Laos. We can't recommend this hotel too highly - it's a great stay.
