Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "One of our best highlights of our Bangkok trip"

Review by: Christine L | Source: Trip Advisor
I'm not usually a cruise fan but one of our Thai friends highly recommended this dinner cruise so we took her word for it and man it was beautiful! The only let down was that it raining and it went dark pretty quickly. Despite that we were very well sheltered from the rain on the cruise and could see the famous Wat Arun and The Grand Palace (just to name a few) as there were lights illuminating the buildings. You can expect the meals to be of fine dining level and authentic (it was as memorable as our fine dining at Issaya Siamese Club). Staff were attentive throughout and the crowd were decent. I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Chakrabongse Villas: "An oasis in a busy City"

Review by: Gordon2066 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The villas are in the heart of the Royal 'precinct' in the old part of the city. Its a great location, close to the Royal Palace, the Siam Museum and the flower markets. However once inside the walls, it is very calm and very relaxing. The villa's have a very authentic old Thai feeling to them and it is a refreshing change from normal 5 star hotel rooms. There are a limited number of villas and this allows them to make each guest feel very special. We dined at our own table out beside the river each night. We loved it! The food is also excellent. Another aspect of the villas that make the experience different is the story behind the villas, and the links to the Royal family. It is another reason, this hotel is a refreshing change from the normal 5 star hotels. I would highly recommend the villas and I am looking forward to going back there next time we are in Bangkok"

The Island Lodge: "The Island Lodge is an Island Dream, in the coconut Kingdom"

Review by: Alizee S | Source: tripadvisor.com
My stay at the island lodge was awesome, the service, the area and the food are great. Don't hesitate to try the fusion cuisine, and enjoy the swimming pool area with a authentic via on the river mekong and its endless boat ballet, ride motorbike or bicycle in the coconut islands ... An home grown & authentic trip in the Mekong Delta!!!

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Dinner by the River"

Review by: rudyj_17 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stumbled upon this restaurant on our first night in Luang Prabang. Delicious food and lovely outdoor seating. I had the duck with papaya salad and it hit the spot! My friend tried the soup and that was also tasty. Would definitely try the hotel on my next visit - it looked clean, had a nice location and they offer bike rentals for their guests. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"

Tugu Bali: "Awesome hotel!"

Review by: Sophia L | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at tugu for the beginning of our honeymoon, the location is unbeatable we were in walking distance to the beach and to shops and great food. Staff was attentive and friendly and very helpful! We were mostly in town for surfing so we spent only evenings at the hotel but the pool gorgeous and the day beds close to The beach offer a great sunset view of the beach. We will be back hopefully!!"

Nimmu House Ladakh: "The place to stay in if you are in Ladakh"

Review by: Narayanan M | Source: Trip Advisor
"Nimmu House is located in a village about 40 kms from Leh. The property is actually a traditional Ladakhi house. Let me say at the outset that we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It is not your usual hotel with television etc. The garden is relaxing and it has nice hammocks. The food you get is mostly continental and it's delicious. You get to walk around Nimmu village and watch the local cattle (called Dzorns) graze. The best part is that this property is away from the hustle and bustle of the main town of Leh. Overall a big thumbs up !"

The Apsara Rive Droite: "The Apsara Queen"

Review by: PeterS6 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at the Apsara Rive Droite so that we had a swimming pool as in the old part of Luang Prabang the boutique hotels don't have the space for a pool. We were not disappointed - this is a small boutique hotel with only about 12 rooms. The service from the staff was fantastic and they were very helpful in recommending things to do even though this is not our first visit to Luang Prabang. The rooms are spacious with big balconies looking over the river to the old part of Luang Prabang. The hotel has a little 'punt' called the Apsara Queen to take you back and forth across the river to the old part of the city where you can wander around. This is walking distance of all the restaurants, bars and shopping so it is a great location. The punt operates 24 hours a day so there is no worry about getting home late or leaving early in the morning to see the monk walking around collecting their alms for the day. We used their bicycles to ride around the weaving villages and then to ride into and around the old part. It was very easy as it is mostly flat and an easy cycle with little of no traffic. Worth doing to explore the side of the river that the hotel is situated on. Very interesting riding past the homes with woman weaving or doing other crafts. Excellent opportunity to buy direct from the person that makes them. When we go back this is the place we will be staying at ....... highly recommended."

Samanea Beach Resort: "expat hangout"

Review by: spiredc | Source: Trip Advisor
kep and nearby Kampot are wonderful places to visit. Samanea Resort is set up totally to be by yourself, lovely pool and great view. it does however lack a bar. I like to sit in a bar area, not just be served

The Cabochon Hotel: "Peace in the middle of the madness"

Review by: Sandy P | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed for 3 days recently and was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was considering its location a stones throw from the Sukhumvit Rd. The most impressive thing was the size of the room. We were in a corner room which is in fact 2 rooms so plenty of space for 2 people. The rooms at the back of the hotel are even quieter but ours on the 1st floor was dark despite there being plenty of Windows as it looked straight out onto some high bamboo which meant there was little natural light during the day. However on the 2nd we were able to move to the same size room on the opposite side which was perfect. The furnishings are comfortable and tasteful, the bed linens good quality and the shower had great water pressure. All things I look for in a hotel. The rooftop pool was a good place to escape in the afternoon when it was too hot to walk around. It was cooler on the roof than in the streets. The pool is a perfect size for lap swimming although a bit narrow for more than a couple of people. I was initially concerned that the buffet breakfast is served in the library/sitting room area with only arm chairs to sit in which makes it awkward for eating but there are a couple of tables outside which we managed to get each morning. We ate dinner in the restaurant on our first evening. It has an extensive menu and the kitchen with it's too chefs was visible so you knew you were getting everything freshly prepared. The staff are all extremely courteous and helpful and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates something a little different from the generic impersonal corporate hotels usually associated with cities."
