Maduzi Hotel: "Excellent service and hotel"

Review by: Zoeychew | Source: Trip Advisor
"We loved this hotel and was very, very delighted when we checked it. We found out that this hotel does not take walk ins and that made it all sweeter. Our room was spacious and the super king bed was fantastic. I was ill on the day of arrival but sleeping and resting on that bed made me feel better. Room service food was also excellent! Asok station is walking distance (10mins) and so is FoodLand, a 24 hour supermarket and food court! Awesome! We booked ala carte breakfast, food was good but wished the portion was a little bigger with more choices to choose from and well as more options of greens and breads. And really wished there was a pool too."

Yandabo Home: "Don’t just go for 1night"

Review by: grahamb56 | Source: Trip Advisor
Great hotel and an imaginative way to help regenerate the 2 local villages. The rooms are built to a very high standard, with filtered water at the taps, wet rooms and some of the largest beds I've experienced. Great food for dinner and breakfast...right by the river...you'll love it!

The Island Lodge: "Nature and Charm"

Review by: Cécile H | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent 3 days together with my husband, far from the busy life. The place is very natural and authentic along the Mekong. The hotel is quiet and charming. The French and Vietnamese food is delicious. Michel, Françoise and the staff are very professional and costumer focus. Amazing :-)

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Idyllic retreat"

Review by: KathmanduMazza | Source: Trip Advisor
"Just outside Pokhara, on a hilltop and away from the blare of the horns, it was just the break I needed in this stylish lodge in its idyllic setting. With probably the very best views of the Annapurna mountains the view from my bungalow across the valley to the Fish Tail Mountain was enchanting. It was a lovely clear morning, so certainly a wonderful way to start the day. I'd visited Tiger Mountain Lodge a few years earlier, so I was delighted to return again for a weekend. Marcus Cotton, owner of the hotel is excellent company and I enjoyed very much chatting with him over coffee, sitting on the terrace overlooking the magnificent views. (...) On my second morning, I was very glad I'd made the effort to get up at the crack of dawn to spend some time to admire the early morning sun and mountain views, and to stroll around the gardens birdwatching for an hour or so with Hari, one of the Lodge's three very knowledgeable resident nature guides. The staff here are attentive in the nicest, friendlies but unobtrusive way. I felt very spoilt, totally relaxed and was very sorry when I had to leave."

Mrauk U Princess Resort: "What a Way to Ring in the New Year"

Review by: DCJoMo | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Princess is a gem in Mrauk Oo. The facilities are lovely and utilize the beauty of its location. The staff are wonderful, welcoming, and truly a delight to be with at the resort. We were there for New Year's Eve and they outdid themselves with an exceptional outdoor feast. A fixed menu that never seemed to end with each course yummier than the one before it. A fabulous start to the new year. A lovely spa as well. Enjoy!"

The Cabochon Hotel: "Best restaurant ever"

Review by: Zachb5 | Source: Trip Advisor
Amazing food & great prices. The atmosphere is amazing and so romantic. The food is delicious. Everything we ordered was so good. Also the interior of the restaurant is so classy and elegant. After dinner we had some tea, in one of the tea rooms. I had such an amazing experience and will definitely be back

Reverie Siam: "The best place to stay in Pai and a superb address"

Review by: Laurent P | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed there for one night and we did not regret it. After 3 hours of mountain drive from ChiangMai we really enjoyed checking in here. For a first trial, the owners have been doing extremely well. Superb decoration, very nice colonial atmosphere, beautiful villa with very large bathroom. We took so many pictures of everything including of the well designed restaurant. Do not expect to have thai food but rather mediterranean. Pools are great, service excellent. It is a must to stay at Reverie Siam and the price is still very much correct. No single reason not to book there. You can only enjoy.

Maduzi Hotel: "Our Bangkok oasis"

Review by: EbonyStar73 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We have stayed here numerous times and we'll keep coming back for more. The location is second to none, perfectly located right near the ever so efficient BTS, ASOK station, yet you feel as though you're In your own little oasis once you walk through the gates. (Do yourself a favour and buy a 'Rabbit Card' so you can jump on and off the transport system with ease and enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer). The staff are always happy to assist with anything you require (btw, they won't accept any tips, it's their policy - no matter how hard you try.) The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The mini bar is included in the price of the room too, another quirky yet welcome Maduzi offering. Breakfasts are delicious! We almost always get the Japanese set breakfast. You can enjoy this in their fabulous restaurant where you'll also have a buffet to pick from, all inclusive. Or, you can order it to your room and they'll put together a buffet selection for you. Yes, this is a small boutique hotel with only 40 rooms and 7 levels, no pool or laundry (you can get the hotel to organise your washing for you) but the beautiful ambiance all around, central location and friendly staff make up for the lack of amenities. We'd choose this place over any of the big guys any day!"

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "What a Culinary Experience! One of my favorite memories of Yangon"

Review by: HubertKlemenz | Source: Trip Advisor
"During our recent trip to Myanmar, we enjoyed our first luncheon at the newly opened Seeds Restaurant in Yangon. What a great welcome to Yangon! The arrival experience was breathtaking, with a very impressive interior design and a great view over the Inya Lake, and a Lotus Pont right in front of the stunning gardens. The Seeds Restaurant offers a fine dining experience on the highest level, with a very elegant table setup and custom-designed chinaware that perfectly pairs with the food. In fact, we enjoyed our experience so much that we actually came back again after 2 days to dine again at Seeds. I wish to offer a big compliment to the service team, because they offered such attentive and professional service under the guidance of Lucia. And of course, the food offered such a highlight to the whole experience, which was prepared by the award-wining Micheline star Chef Felix and his team. Being a retired hotelier, it was such a delight and a gourmet experience on the highest level. I highly recommend dining here – it is worth every penny for such an excellent experience…one to be remembered!"
