4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Become one with the jungle"
"This was really good: you are picked up by a boat where the road crosses the river and then you get 30 minutes to slow-down and get into the rhythm of the jungle. Each room is a huge double tent on a floating dock, connected to each other via a walking bridge. The tents have a luxury interior: double bed, closets, TV set - although not working, but who cares? - a lot of fans (no airco) and a jungle-shower. But the most pleasant is the terrace from which you can jump in the water for a swim. Diner is at the riverside or in the tent-restaurant, with super quality food and drinks. Breakfast idem: super! From this place you must visit the waterfalls of Tatai where you can jump of a cliff, swim and get nice food, prepared by the guys on the boat, Room Tip: If you are looking for a place to get some rest, go here"Rachamankha: "Tranquility"
Rachamankha was wonderful. Very clean rooms, great customer service and extremely quiet. The rooms were big with AC, lots of free bottled water and a hair dryer. Every detail was beautifully thought out. No complaints and I have already recommended it to many friends. I would return for sure.Tugu Malang: "Unique, Stylish, & All-Time Favorite Hotel"
I love this hotel. It's an incredibly unique place that's adorned throughout with Indonesian antiques, and it also has an incredible antique shop for browsing or buying (not to mention a very large and well-curated selection of Balinese silver jewelry, both contemporary and vintage). The rooms are fantastic, filled with super stylish antiques, art, and fresh flowers. The hotel also has incredibly cool stationery in each room, reminiscent of grand hotels of the early 20th century. Melati Restaurant, part of the hotel, serves some of the best food in all of Java. This place is truly special and has to be one of my favorite hotels anywhere in the world.Locavore: "One of the best in Ubud"
We had lunch at this restaurant and we had a wonderful experience, high quality food, very attentive staff and nice atmosphere. Haute cuisine without being too posh. The taste of some of the dishes was out of this would.Tugu Malang: "Tempo Doeloe feeling"
The hotel is a mixture of luxury and history. The rooms give a feel of the "good" (only for the Dutch) colonial old times, with the hand hammered baths. And the whole atmosphere is the hotel is friendly and service minded. The for is excellent and the hotel itself has a fantastic mix of antiquities within its walls (Chinese (most), Dutch and Indonesian. It was a pleasure going to the rooms with my 17 year old daughter and see her recognize drawings and pictures of Kublai Kahn and Sun Yat Sen. Great hotel.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "A little piece of heaven"
"Only for who is looking for relax and real contact with nature. No windows, doors or keys, forget shoes and phones, bathroom is openair. Andamane sea in front, savannah behind, mangroves canal, jungle around you. Typical and excellent dishes served for breakfast and dinner. Opportunity to make some really thrilling experiences with a thai guide. Thai original massages in a beautiful setting on the beach. Staff is really nice and helpfull and give you all the privacy needed. We were there for new years eve and was a wonderful beginning with bonfire on the beach, fireworks, lanterns throw. As I said a little piece of heaven!"VILLA MATHIS: "Excellent time at Villa Mathis"
"My wife and i stayed at La Villa Mathis in Bali and this was one of the best experiences we ever had, not only due to the beauty of the place (it was paradise on earth) but the way the stuff did everything they could in their power to makes us feel home. The prime examples was the great help they provided me to plan for my wife's birthday and they even allowed us to stay longer after the check out time so that we do not stress for our late flight with access non-only to our room but also all the facilities they had on site until before our flight. The highlight of the place were the amenities (different luxuries pools and salons where you can hang out as well as Jacuzzi and massage rooms) but the service with a smile was above and beyond what we ever experienced in any other luxury hotels/villas. A big thanks to the lady at the front who helped us plan every single day of our stay and to the excellent management provided by Frank with the help of his staff. We will definitely come back soon. "Rakkojae Seoul: "A peaceful"
This hanok is very beautiful. I had a peaceful moment when staying there. The food is delicious and the host are very helpful and nice. He is a good English speaker, it is easy to communicate with him and he is always in quick respond. Definitely, I will stay here again and highly recommended!Rachamankha: "PEACEFUL OASIS"
"We spent 4 nights at the Rachamanka hotel, a small boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room was large with comfortable beds & quality linens. Bathroom amenities, including a toothbrush/toothpaste & insect repellent, were replaced daily. Breakfast was served in a beautiful courtyard, with a wood burning fire to take the chill off those cool mornings. The grounds are beautifully manicured. Antique Burmese letter chest decorate the walkways. The pool has comfortable chaise lounges with large beach towels. I would definitely stay here again. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"Amata Lanna: "Amazing"
It's like stepping into a hidden oasis. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is withing a few minute walk of the night market amd many restaurants. Every recommendation they provided was perfect. They will be on my list of places to visit again. Thank you for making our honeymoon stay such a memorable experience.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
