"The hotel is beautiful and an example of the amazing Tugu style! There are 4 Tugu hotels in Indonesia and this was the only one I didnot visit yet! The way it is set up doesn't make you feel like you are in a hotel. It feels like staying with friends that have a big house with eclectic taste! The staff are very friendly and cater to your every need. The gardens are beautiful and the beach is very quiet. What else can you want? They have 2 Beautiful wooden boats that can take you snorkeling or to the Gili Islands in style! If you go to Lombok this is the place to stay!"Manda De Laos: "Delicious"
"The restaurant is very beautiful and the food is delicious! The restaurant is developed around a natural steam with luxurious flora, palms and a lot of different varieties of trees that create an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere and is decorated with fine taste. The kitchen is Laotian with French/westerns influence. We have ordered le pate' Laotian, crunchy rice salad and banana flower salad as appetizers. Tanguy duck tamarind sauce, steamed chicken hormok style and buffalo steak as mains and choix banana as dessert. Every dish was delicious and I recommend all of them. The combination of many different flavors was fine and the result amazing. The portions were generous and the presentation impressive and studied in every small detail. The service was fast and very professional. Manda de Laos is a place not to be missed in Luang Prabang."Tugu Lombok: "Holidays in Paradise"
Our perfect family holiday started with a hotel airport pick-up which included cold drinks and fresh fruits. We stayed with our four year-old son for five days. At our arrival we were upgraded to an oceanfront villa, which was beyond all our expectation. Staff is very friendly and tries to fulfil all special requests. On our first day restaurant service was a bit slow, but the waiter apologised and suggested to pre-order in the afternoon. This arrangement worked perfectly for the rest of the week. We had the beach BBQ which was so good that we wished it would have never ended! We especially enjoyed the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the place. Absolutely perfect to detach and relax. All in all the closest experience to paradise that we ever had.Villa Song Saigon: "Elegant and sophisticated"
"We loved this immaculate hotel. French colonial chic, beautiful garden restaurant on the river beautifully lit at night for great dining ambience. The food was excellent and the standard of service throughout the hotel was super-friendly and efficient. A great plus is its peaceful location on the river with great views of the city, although that means that it is a bit of a trek to the centre. However, the hotel provides a free shuttle boat which makes it an enjoyable journey, and anyway, with a hotel like this, we were more than happy to enjoy the pool and dine there. Highly recommended. "Excellent hôtel/ lodge. Emplacement magnifique au bord du Mékong. Calme absolu de la campagne. C’est paisible et envoûtant. Les promenades à vélo proposées dans les alentours sont extraordinaires. Il faut absolument se lever tôt (6h maxi) pour profiter de la vie des vietnamiens ( les marchés pas exemple) et ... de la fraîcheur. Au zénith, l’ombre au bord de la superbe piscine à débordement est très appréciable. Sunset sur le Mekong au bout du ponton privé .... Cuisine au top. La cuisine vietnamienne est peut être un tout petit peu trop occidentalisée. Petit déjeuner remarquable. L’ensemble est excellent et très haut de gamme pour l’endroit. Le personnel est adorable, souriant et efficace. Les hôtes sont charmants. Merci Michel pour les informations anecdotes et connaissances sur le delta. Si vous enchaînez depuis le lodge, privilégiez l’aéroport de CAN ToH qui est aussi loin que celui de Saigon, mais tout petit et ultra rapide pour l’embarquement. Приплыв в Мраук-У - столицу древнего Араканского царства Вы не пожалеете в любом случае о потраченном времени на дорогу. Древность, этническая самобытность и красота этих мест потрясает. "Yega and his team make every effort to make a stay at the Villa Song a memorable occasion. They are extremely warm, professional and hospitable and the hotel is in a spectacular setting on the banks of the Saigon river. There was a wedding on when we were staying. We were naturally concerned given we had two young children with us and we were worried that the noise would prevent them sleeping. The staff were extremely accommodating however, gave us an excellent recommendation for a dinner location nearby (to which they paid the taxi) and ensured that the noise from the wedding was not excessive. We were keen to eat in the restaurant as we heard great things about the food- however we didn't get the chance because of the wedding... next time, we hope. well worth a stay. This is such a great way to explore the Mekong Delta. The boat gives a comfortable experience as you sail by fabulous scenery , observing families and enjoying delicious food. Our guide , An, was a delight. She shared with us how people live in the Delta villages including first hand experiences and such interesting information. "Situated on a river with hot springs and nestled in beside a small village this Hotel taught us more about high quality cuisine and life in Laos than any other. It was unseasonably cold but with coal fires in buckets (!) at each table and a large fire pit close by we were never cold. Hotwater bottles in the beds, hot thermal tubs on stilts in amongst the trees, a pool on an island, I think you must be getting the picture that this is a pretty special place. From the hotel we visited hill villages and this is a great place to hike from. Picnics, 4x4 vehicles and guides, transfers etc all organised by this hotel. It is a remote part of Laos and therefore very unspoilt. This is a gem of a hotel in such a far away place "Mie Cafe: "Good food and service"
We had a nice dinner, fhere is a good variety of interesting dishes on the menue. The frozen cheesecake was very nice.
