Misool Eco Resort: "Wow"
This place was amazing. It's truly hard to describe the beauty of this place, and what they went through to make it available to the (discerning) masses. Everything was perfect, from the check-in, to the food, to the rooms, to the scuba-diving / snorkeling. I couldn't dive due to a lung issue, but trust me, I saw and experienced just as much. Even got to see some manta rays at the top of an underwater mountain. Calvin, who headed up the diving / snorkeling trips / PADI courses, and has a marine biology degree... very helpful and great instructor, with the added benefit that he's an actual scientist. Even gave a preso on his work with the manta rays. And I'd like to give a shout-out to my snorkeling guide (Nelson i.e. "Son") as well. He's a local, and used to live on a pearl farm... he dove down seemingly without effort 20-30 feet deep to search out cool things to see. I'm not even sure the guy needs scuba equipment. And the reefs in their 1000 km square "no take" zone were in amazing health (which is surprising given all the press about the decline of reefs in other parts of the world right now) - we saw tons of stuff. My favorites were the nudibranches - I saw about 5 or 6 kinds. We also saw a herd of "bumpheads" that apparently National Geographic was trying to get pics / videos of a few weeks before but couldn't find. The amount of biodiversity is truly astounding... the fish stocks and schools were absolutely amazing. Corals too. I also liked the "eco" theme of the resort - they really take it to heart. Our room had air conditioning, but it was only within the mosquito netting above our bed - I thought this was a clever and very energy efficient way to do it, because you really only want it at night when you're sleeping anyway. Also, they're trying to figure out how to do solar, just working through the details right now. One piece of advice: Just bring adequate cash to tip with (preferably IDR, but they can exchange USD or Australian $$ pretty easily) - and not because they expect tips (they don't) but you'll want to tip everyone when you're done, just because of how well they treat you.The Island Lodge: "3 days in Island Lodge in Nov 2016"

I recommend this hotel Evelyne D, Grenoble France"Villa Song Saigon: "Excellent Stay"
Beautiful property, very hospitable staff, outstanding views, thoughtful service, good facilities and food. And a great spa. Just what a hotel should be but very few achieve. Worth coming to Saigon if only to check in here. The manager is a guest's delight. Thank you.talabgaon castle: "Family owned Castle in the Indian countryside"
A group of four friends on the way from Jaipur to Ranthambore stopped at this magical place. It was like stepping back into time, when life was slower, and more elegant. The hotel is the generations old great-house of a noble family from Jaipur, who also happen to be some of the best polo players in India! The grounds include a polo field, gorgeous pool, and lots of little paths that criss-cross the gardens. The family treats you like a guest and like a member of the family — while we were there we were treated to a beautiful supper on the grass in the late afternoon sun — magical! All the rooms have been renovated and have amazing marble floors and fabulous baths, each with its own unique series of nooks and windows with amazing views of the countryside. The little village that is just outside the gates of the castle is charming too. What a delightful contrast to all the business that is India. A great place to relax and experience life at an Indian family 'home.'Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Fantastic location and excellent service"
"The lodge was very comfortable and had the most fantastic views of the valley beneath the lodge and the majestic Annapurna range of the Himalayas. The most incredible views of these mountains was at sunrise across the swimming pool. The lodge sits high on the mountain side and it is a perfect place to relax with nothing to disturb the peace except the sounds of nature; an ideal place for complete relaxation. The standard of the food is very high and interesting menu, each meal was a delicious repast. The main centre of the lodge is very comfortable and outdoor dining at breakfast and lunch was very enjoyable, dinner was served in the main dining room at night when it was a little cooler. ( May ). The staff is very professional, discrete, very helpful and added greatly to the quality and enjoyment of our stay. Stayed May 2016, traveled with friends"Glenburn Tea Estate: "A lovely memory"

"Seeds is such a beautiful restaurant, definitely a hidden gem in Yangon. People who love fine dinning must pay a visit. The restaurant has just opened for one year, but already well known for tourists. If you have had enough local food for your trip, Seeds will definitely cheer you up by their top class standard western food. It is a very romantic place with all beautiful settings for couples. Facing the lake, you can enjoy sunset with cocktail before dinner."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Absolutely beautiful place, such an unusual but wonderful stay"
"The setting is spectacular. It feels so remote. Although the accommodation is canvas, it is so well equipped inside it was better than some hotel rooms we'd had. Proper flushing loo and double hand basins with a lovely shower. There was no kettle in the room but the staff would bring some hot drinks over if requested. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful, it was a homely, welcoming feel. The food was excellent, and the day trips are really worthwhile. There is no wi if but its sometimes nice just to read and relax, the hotel provide DVDs as there is no cable for TV programmes, very much a get away from it all place. Over a 3 week Cambodia / Laos holiday in such a selection of hotels, this one really stands out. It is very close to the jungle so there needs to be some common sense re mosquitos etc but it really is worth a visit. We had 2 nights there, I think 4 would have been ideal."Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
