Misool is an amazing lodge in gorgeous Raja Ampat. not only is it gorgeous, clean and luxurious: it has done tremendous work to preserve the manta rays, sharks and other marine life of raja Ampat and Indonesia at large. Misool' said conservation work is crucial to protecting the astounding (and increasingly rare) biodiversity that makes Raja Ampat such an outstanding diving and snorkeling destination. I would absolutely return, and would not consider staying at any other lodge as I believe we must support conservation work. We stayed 2 nights in the family villa and absolutely loved it. The thought and style put into the room was obvious from the cool little pieces or art to the location of plenty of power points and towel racks. Staff was fantastic and the included breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Also the little things, like a cell phone for our use while in town and the free shuttle service from the property to town were greatly appreciated and showed us a new level of customer service. We stayed during low season so the rate was very reasonable, if you can afford it, the value for money here is as good as I've ever had!Villa Mathis: "Très beau concept"

Nous avons adoré le concept 4 très belles villa (+/- 5 chambres par villa) et avec une piscine pour chaque villa (vous pouvez également profiter des autres villas). La Villa Mathis est décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Le restaurant est très bon, on vous propose également d'installer votre tables près de la piscine pour un diner romantique. Le service est excellent, tout est mis en oeuvre pour satisfaire les clients. Cyril le nouveau manager est très à l'écoute et de très bon conseil. "I returned to the Heritage hotel one year after my previous stay almost exactly to the day. It's an outstanding hotel truly qualifies as a boutique hotel This time I was given a bungalow and my reaction to this upgrade ( low season) was WOW,what amazing room the best hotel room since a stay at Amanpuri in Phuket. The size of the room is fantastic, the living room, of course the bathroom including a steam room, etc etc Outdoor showers The pictures say what I can not say in words I have a comment to make, I was told the hotel has new ownership and a new manager is soon going to arrive. "Breathtaking. Wonderful room with wonderful views. Great staff. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. Not too many guests, which we did not mind. Mother and sister went for a couple of treatments at the spa and were impressed. Brother and I had a 06.30 trailrun with our guide Augus, probably the best morning of our holiday!"
