Manda De Laos: "Gorgeous settings!"

The waterlilies and the huge pond is reason enough to have a meal at this place. Food is good too. All in all a lovely addition to our Luang Prabang holiday itinerary.

Cuca: "Best Dining Experienced in Bali!"

Review by: JeanRoho | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is my first time for us to dine at Cuca. One of my Friend who live in Bali recomended this place and also the chef from Folie Kitchen told us ""if you stay at Jimbaran you must try this restaurant Cuca"". They were so right! We had the best Dining experienced in Bali. We ordered 6 tapas (3 tapas each as recommended on the menu). For me the best dishes was Meat & Potato. It was simply delicious! And We ordered a couple of cocktails with the meal as well. I was very impressed with the waitress knowledge on every dishes that we ordered. When I asked one of the waiter what's in this dishes (meatball) she was able to describe all the ingredients. Overall I will give 5/5, I will definitely come back and will recommend this restaurant to my friends . JR"

Villa Mathis: "A little gem"

Review by: TheoSalvador | Source: Trip Advisor
"Went there without knowing what to expect and what a great surprised! This property is one of a kind, few villas scattered in a huge tropical garden, we were staying in Villa des Rizières with friends and everything was perfect, the bedrooms really nicely decorated the lodging area to die for and the pool just gorgeous!!! The staff is really helpful dedicated and friendly... I strongly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close to Semyniak and Canggu but in a quite and stunning environment. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"

The Hue House: "Best traditional restaurant"

Review by: tim w | Source: Trip Advisor
This is one of the best restaurant for our whole trip in Vietnam. Decoration is very nice - in a French Villa with traditional design. Food is so good with many dishes from North to South. Very fresh ingredients to make the dish is even more delicious. Staff is very professional with big smile all the time. Very enjoyable dinner.

Villa Song: "A perfect retreat after the trip"

Review by: Kathlene C | Source: Trip Advisor
Our two nights at Villa Song provided a relaxing start to our ambitious trip. The hotel is stylish, airy, comfortable and as lovely as it looks in the photos. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the banks of the river -- delicious, hearty Asian or Western options accompanied by an entertaining view of the boat traffic passing by. The hotel staff were exceptionally accommodating and kind (we had a member of our small group with a foot injury and they switched her to a larger room on the first floor at no extra charge). The showers are outstanding, the amenities top notch and they're generous with the bottled water (and the free minibar). If it was possible to give six stars, I would :)

Tugu Bali: "Hotel Tugu- gem"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
The Hotel Tugu was the best surprise of our two week trip to Bali. From the second we walked into the lobby we were greeted by the most friendly, helpful and beautiful staff. We had just left the Ritz Carlton and already this place was running circles around the staff from the Ritz. It was one beautiful surprise after another. From the room, to the services to the good, proximity to the beach to the furnishings. Hotel Tugu is a gem and not to be missed. The hotel manager is lovely, helpful and has the staff well trained and lovely. Don't miss the Japanese restaurant with a view of the ocean. Cheers to hotel Tugu for making our trip. If you have an appreciation. For aesthetically pleasing things you cannot miss my this. The owner has the biggest collection of Balinese art and artefacts throughout Indonesia.

Tugu Bali: "Hotel Tugu 11/17"

Review by: Vincent C | Source: Trip Advisor
"What can I say about Hotel Tugu other than it’s the most enchanting friendly and amazing hotel we stayed at while on Bali. From the minute you enter driveway you will be welcomed with a friendly greeting and the first of many incredible historic relics from the island. From the minute we walked in my wife and I felt like family and were always taken well care of…upon leaving we were provided a fruit basket and a gift for staying at the hotel…we stayed at much more costly and higher rated villas during our stay but did not receive any kind of sendoff like we had at Tugu… PROS – You will not stay in another hotel like this in Bali – trust me – we stayed at much higher end hotels and did not have near the experience we had while at Tugu. Free Balinese dance show every Thursday night where dinner is served – can’t miss this if you have the chance. The beach (although a 100 meter walk from the hotel) is filled with plenty of friendly locals and surfers from around the world. If you ever wanted to surf, this is a great place to learn with the easy rolling waves. Finally the town surrounding the hotel is a lot of fun and gives you a chance to get out of the hotel and mingle. CONS – Bed is not very frim – I am used to a really firm mattress so I might just be complaining for no reason – also there is no gym which is quite common in Bali hotels… Honestly there was nothing wrong with this hotel and I promise if you give it a shot, you will not be disappointed. FYI the price for pickup from the airport (246,000) is better than any driver will give you upon arrival…It’s a 45-60 minute ride from Denpasar…"

David’s Kitchen: "Warm welcome and excellent food"

Review by: AlwaysSomething | Source: Trip Advisor
Just wonderful. Made a last minute booking and they were able to squeeze in myself and my girlfriend the next day. (I'd advise planning ahead, you might not be so lucky.) We were warmly welcomed by every member of the staff we encountered, and David himself stopped by our table near the beginning and end of our meal to have a chat and ask us what brought us to Chiang Mai in general and the restaurant in particular. Friendly, gracious and genuinely interested. The staff pulled off the rare trick of being super attentive and friendly while remaining casual. As for the food, we had the Japanese pumpkin veloute, spicy raw salmon, pomelo salad, wagyu beef cheeks and lobster in wine. All delicious and paired nicely with wines suggested by our waiter. At the end of the night they presented my girlfriend with a bouquet of roses to congratulate us on our engagement (there's a section on the online reservation form for special occasions -- nice touch). A wonderful capper to a lovely weekend.

Maduzi Hotel: "Small, elegant, beautiful"

Review by: fadabing | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was the first time that I chose to stay in BKK at a smaller hotel. The choice is so varied and cheap in BKK that one is literally spoilt for choice. This one costs a little bit more but for that you essentially get a beautiful apartment like hotel room with every modern amenity and design feature. The breakfast is a pure joy in that it has the standard breakfast fair that most hotels do. The difference is in the quality and presentation. I felt loved and looked after by the staff who in quintessential Thai ways went out of their way to make me feel at home. Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"

Chakrabongse Villas: "Wonderful stay"

Review by: jo c | Source: Trip Advisor
We loved this place! It was gorgeous and calm, and the managers are extremely friendly and professional. We enjoyed falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the river right outside our door, and loved the excellent location right next to the grand palace and wat Arun. I'd love to come back at some point in the future. Highly recommend!
