Sukoon Houseboat: "Luxury meets nature"
I cannot tell you how nice my stay at Sukoon was! The staff was excellent headed by Vishal and service staff by Babu. The location of the boat is perfect too. A shuttle motorised shikara takes you from the promenade to the houseboat [HB] and you can come and go whenever you wish if you fancy a walk on the promenade. The rooms are generously sized and the bathrooms can put some hotels to shame! :-) The food was excellent too and the best part was the peace and quiet you can expect here. The breakfast on the terrace was a treat :-) Wifi! Can you believe that and at no extra cost. You can spend a nice lazy noon on the terrace on the lounger reading a book and enjoy your time here. I loved it :-)Satri House: "Gorgeous little 5 star oasis in Luang Prabang"
Beautifully appointed room and super food. An oasis in the middle of Luang Prabang and is the place of choice if you want to do Luang Prabang in style. A superbly managed property with absolutely charming staff.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Wonderful safari"
"My husband and I had the most magical 2 nights here and absolutely loved everything about it! We had been warned that the Sri Lankan safaris were very different to African ones and so had tempered our expectations, but there was no need as we had the most amazing time and saw so much wildlife. Sajeet, Praneeth and the whole team were exceptionally knowledgeable and a font of fascinating information and we learnt so much. My husband is the bird enthusiast but after 4 drives spotting the most beautiful birds, I felt the start of a new passion! We were incredibly lucky to see some wonderful leopard sitings, made more special and exciting by the fact that we had two drives without seeing any. However those two drives were just as thrilling because of all the other wildlife that we saw - elephants, land monitors, crocodiles, star tortoise, mongoose, monkeys and the most stunning kingfishers, wood peckers, fish owl, fly catchers to name but a few. The tents were surprisingly comfortable and an evening open shower by moonlight was very special. The food was absolutely delicious with good wines and very atmospheric drinks before dinner and the most charming and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it and highly recommend this camp! Huge thanks as well for the wonderful photos taken by Praneeth that Sophie forwarded! Such great photos and so thrilled to have them as iPhones really don't cut with wildlife photography.... Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Quaint hotel in a great location"
"On arrival we were invited to sit down & enjoy a welcome drink & snacks whilst checking in. We were then taken to our suite, which was unexpectedly spacious with a separate lounge/dining room & lovely hardwood floors throughout. Blossoms on the bed were another nice touch. However, the highlight of this hotel is the restaurant on the roof, which provides top quality food together with fabulous views of the promenade & Mekong. The breakfasts are exceptional with trays of pastries & fruit, freshly squeezed juices, yogurt & hot food cooked to order. We were there for dinner on Christmas Eve & Santa visited the restaurant & gave us all very nice presents. This was another unexpected treat. All of the staff were friendly & helpful and the service throughout our stay was of the highest quality. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel."Maison Polanka: "Wonderful"
Absolutely perfect. Great room, wonderful staff who were helpful in every possible way, food that was as good as any in Siem Reap. The location a little outside the main tourist area is a plus: most good stuff isn't in the center of town. The free bikes were nice. Lovely swimming pool too! It's a fantastic facility and we had a memorable vacation.MesaStila: "Must-visit place for nature lovers, coffee lovers, & traditional Java-Dutch royal lovers"
We fell in love since we arrived at the gate of Mesa Stila. My older daughter (6 yo) said it's just like her dream castle :) the concierge, lobby, and the villa were beautiful as well as overall resort landscape. The staff's service was impressive & very helpful. We enjoyed the coffee plantation tour, beautiful afternoon tea, bicycle riding for my two-daughters, swimming, and quality breakfast indeed. My daughters did not want to go home after stay, so did I and my husband actually haha. Mesa Stila is exactly the place to spend quality time with your beloved. Thank you for the great service!Maisons Wat Kor: "A blissful get-away – highly recommend"
"A hidden local architecture hotel with a beautiful pound surrounded by the green garden setting has created a wonderful atmosphere in the evening. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived by a great hosted and really make us feel at home. It was an unforgettable memory with family and we absolutely can't wait to return ❤️!"Villa Song Saigon: "Great stay– lived up to the hype"
"We were happy to leave our original hotel in district one and book a last minute two nights at Villa Song. The area has a few great spots for eating and shopping (Dolphy for coffee and Banh Mi 362). It's about a 20 minute walk into the heart of things but we really enjoyed the scenery and slower place of things. It was a really nice contrast from district one and the tourist zone. The hotel is beautiful, on a river, and the boat ride is a great alternative to viewing the rapidly expanding city of Saigon. The cab ride back home later at night was $7-8. Easy! We'd head in on the 11:30 AM boat, do touristy stuff, take a later boat back to the hotel, and then go back out later on the 6 pm boat and cab back to the hotel later. It was not too inconvenient and it was very worth it to not feel the stress of getting run over by a motorbike for a solid few hours. Also, the pool! So much more serene, private and clean than the rooftop pools in HCMC. Also, there are only 23 rooms in the hotel, so you're not fighting for pool space. The service was fantastic, as was the food. Vietnamese breakfast options were the bomb. We loved the braised beef and egg noodle soup and the chicken congee. Great fresh squeezed OJ. Stay here!"Sanak Retreat Bali: "Beautiful Retreat in the Rice Fields"
"Beautiful hotel, villas, common rooms an gardens are extremely tastefully decorated. Nice pool, fantastic spa, very good food (best breakfast on Bali so far). We can recommend a trip to the base camp from the hotel with the possibility to drive with buggies further into the mountains. The view from the basecamp (eg sunset) is fabulous"Muang La Lodge: "Da non perdere"
If you go in northern Laos you should definitely stop at the lodge. Rooms comfortable and spotless hospitality and impeccable service. Lovely pool ... turkish bath massage and two beautiful pools of thermal water from which to admire the view while sipping a delicious cocktail. Breakfast and dinner excellent. Delicious also picnic during a hike.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
