Amata Lanna: "Hidden Gem! Best place to stay in Chiang Mai"

Amata Lanna was absolutely beautiful, the woodwork design adds a lot of character to the boutique hotel. Their interior design and furniture makes the place feels authentic. My stay was super comfortable, jacuzzi after the pool was such a treat, spa right in your room! The staffs are very friendly and informative. Couldn't have asked for a better stay in Chiang Mai. Make sure to check out the night market there. Will definitely come back again in the future.

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Amazing food, peerless produce, great service"

"The food was amazing - I work in a Michelin star kitchen and it baffles me how CWD has yet to get at least one Michelin star. We chose Tasting Menu 2: Amuse Bouche Duck Confit with Crispy Rice Steamed Mekong Langoustine Tonle Sap Croaker Fish Angkor Stout Pulled Pork Green & Ripe Mango Tart Fresh Seasonal Fruit Platter We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the eating the last bites of the each dish made me so sad, knowing that the experience would soon be over. For 31usd per pax, excluding drinks - I thought we got more than a fair deal for the amount and the quality of the food. Chef Joannès Rivière was also kind enough to oblige us when we requested to take a photo with him at the end of the meal, which truly was the cherry on the cake. Merci Chef! & thank you Carole, for helping out with the birthday surprise! If we ever make the visit to Siem Reap again, it'd definitely be just for Cuisine Wat Damnak. "

Tugu Malang: "Superb hotel in every way"

"This city-centre hotel is a complete gem. Beautifully designed around 1990 by a wealthy antiques enthusiast, this is a place with very high standards of staff service and enthusiasm. It is a treasure-trove of fascinating period rooms and spaces, crammed with wonderful artefacts of various periods, which the staff are very eager to take you round and explain. The bedrooms are very well thought out to a high spec, and with good wifi. The pool is a very good size, and beautifully lit at night. The breakfasts are of utter blow-out proportions, with great menu choices, though do allow plenty of time as each person's is individually prepared. You get a lovely complimentary afternoon Indonesian 'high tea' on the terrace. The bar is like a connoisseur's wine cellar. And don't forget the in-house bakery, with breads and cakes of the highest quality open till 11pm. If you take the guided tour, the hotel staff will take you round the top-end luxury suites (if not occupied), even though these are probably beyond the wallets of ordinary mortals. Hard to fault in any way. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Ubiquity and Tranquility"

"For the activity lovers, the nature protectors, and paradise chasers. Not even the rain could dampen the sheer beauty of 4 Rivers. Bungalows, floating on a river enveloped with mangroves. Tranquility. Ubiquity. Pure bliss. My boyfriend and I stayed at 4 Rivers for two nights and two day. Had we had the time we would have stayed longer. From the get go we experienced nothing but kindness. Attentive to our every need, it is the staff who truly shapes your experience, and it is the nature which caters to your mind, body and soul. Both are the icing on this layered cake of pure bliss. We will return, now that we have lived and breathed in the rainy season, we would love to compare to the dry. Both, we know will be incomparable. But still, we wish to have an excuse to return. To feel warm and rested is a blessing. 4 rivers is like no where else. If not for a guarantee of ubiquity. 4 rivers guarantees tranquility."

Slow Villas and Spa: "Heaven in Gili"

"It's difficult to describe... it was amazing! Kind staff who pampered me throughout my stay! They are always ready to help and offer additional information when asked. Slow villas is beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the spa treatments were great! I was delighted to have had this experience at Slow villas! Thank you so much! "15 Feb 2017 - best meal in our 5-day trip Cambodian cuisine 2 tasting menus available Very nice atmosphere - tables are quite apart from one another, lighting is just about right so we could take great photos Good service - waiters are attentive and allow us to try the wine before deciding which bottle to get Excellent food - the appetizer (pan-fried sanday fish) was a surprise; we were allowed to swap one of the dishes from the two tasting menus I'd definitely recommend to friends - best for romantic dinners :P"

The food was amazing! I️ had the duck and it was cooked perfectly. David was so friendly and he even recommended some restaurants to us in Phuket. This is a first class restaurant!

Misool Eco Resort: "Paradise Found"

"After learning of Misool almost four years ago, we had a dream come true when we visited in June 2015. Misool is one of the few places on earth where the natural world has largely been untouched by man and is now being protected from any further degradation. It is as close as any of us can come to paradise above and below water. It is worth every minute of the long journey to reach it. This resort is primarily focused on diving because of the unmatched marine diversity in the Raja Ampat islands. But there is excellent snorkeling on the house reef (which is very accessible and teaming with fish) as well as at sites very close by. We were very fortunate to have Bram as our dive master on all dives. He listened carefully and did an excellent job on finding the pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, crabs, giant clams and a wide variety of fish we hoped to see. He was always patient and always very helpful. We were very fortunate to have dived with only the two of us on every dive. In addition, we had to opportunities to snorkel with Herry, Ferry and Daddy in the house reef and other reefs nearby with our non-diver family member and other guests. Each was an excellent guide always attuned to our requests. Among the many positives to this resort is the quality of the Dive Center staff which helped our stay exceed our expectations for our dives and snorkeling excursions. (...) We are very honored to have visited Misool and will always carry great memories of the location and the staff. We hope that we can return to Misool again. It is paradise and is the most peaceful place that we have ever visited."
