Tugu Lombok: "Amazing location, great staff and stunning beaches"

Review by: SRF81 | Source: Trip Advisor
"After an amazing week in Bali my wife and I flew to Lombok and made our way to Hotel Tugu with high expectations, and boy did it deliver! The amazing location, friendly staff and stunning beaches were the epitome of paradise. It has to be one of the most calming places I have ever visited. As it was our honeymoon we splashed out on a Bhagavat Villa which was the icing on the cake. An enormous villa with an outdoor bathroom, private pool and direct access to the beach. It also had the biggest bed I've ever seen! It truly is a stunning hotel with excellent staff and gets a 10/10 from me and the Mrs. Tip #1 - It's a long drive form the airport to Hotel Tugu. Rather than taking our chances on a local taxi company we contacted the hotel prior to our arrival and arranged a taxi directly with them. It was a really nice car, the driver spoke English and it helped us to relax from the moment we stepped off the pane. Tip #2 - The next hotel we stayed at was on Gili Trawangan. The hotel arranged a boat transfer directly from the beach (right outside our room) to Gili T. What a way to say goodbye!"

The Island Lodge: "Amazing stay in this hotel !"

Review by: Laurent P | Source: Trip Advisor
We spend 5 nights in this hotel, everything was perfect : rooms are nice and full furnished, very quiet environment ! And the owners of this paradise Françoise and Michel are so nice and helpful. The restaurant is also amazing (you have test quiche lorraine and fondant chocolat). I warmly recommend this place if you want a fantastic stay in Vietnam.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Pretty as the pictures"

Review by: docpainter | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here two nights rather than the three scheduled because of a change in itinerary. Room was gorgeous, pool and gardens the same. Probably the best breakfast we had throughout our stay in Malaysia (mostly in Borneo). Front desk staff helpful in answering our questions, set up a day long tour with local guide, to visit the specific sights we wanted to see. All around excellent. We just wish we could have stayed the extra night.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A night to remember <3 <3 <3"

Review by: joanna carla m | Source: tripadvisor.com
"I stayed at 4 rivers three weeks ago but I can still remember how amazing the place is.  It was a long drive but when you reached the 4th bridge which the reception is located you will be amazed by the surroundings . I'm typically not a nature lover but when the boat started to pass by the river surrounded by mountains it took my breath away :D When I arrived at the resort the staff and crew gave me a very warm welcome . The resort facilities are outstanding .You’ll get the chance to use the kayak and fishing rod for free. also love the library which has a good collection of books and even board games for kids and kids at heart . The manager (Adonis) is so approachable and very kind not only to the guest but also to his staff. 4 RIVERS is the PERFECT PLACE to unwind and be with nature :D Looking forward on coming back there sooonnnnnnn!!! :D"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Absolutely Lovely!"

Review by: Helen J | Source: Trip Advisor
We treated ourselves to a night at Tiger Mountain after a trek in the Annapurna region. The combination of a stunning location, gorgeous stone cottage accommodation and an excellent level of service sets Tiger Mountain apart from other places in Nepal. We were very impressed with the knowledge and service level of the staff, the comfort of the rooms and the excellent food provided. Two of us decided to do the morning guided bird watching tour, which was excellent. We saw an amazing assortment of birds on a short walk around the property, including a very pretty scarlet minivet. The views from the property are superb!

Tugu Malang: "Very Unique Hotel in East Java, Indonesia"

Review by: Gary B | Source: tripadvisor.com
The Hotel Tugu Malang in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, is a perfect way to see the "non-touristy" side of Indonesia, but still experience first class service and one of the most unique properties we have ever stayed at. The hotel is situated in a beautiful mountain town in eastern Java that is very close to the spectacular and often active volcano, Mount Bromo. The hotel offers much, much more however, and is a great way to get a taste of Javanese culture that is sometimes hard to find in big cities like Jakarta. We spent only two nights at this lovely hotel, but will definitely return to continue our exploration of this culturally rich area. The hotel itself is filled with truly exotic works of art and furniture, including Ming Dynasty pieces that would likely be in a carefully guarded museum in the United States. During our stay, we took the "candi" or "temple" tour on the first day, and found it as a great way to view the surrounding countryside, as well as to see some really amazing Buddhist and Hindu temples built in the 1200-1300 AD period. The next morning, we took the traditional market tour and traditional cooking class which was really the highlight of our stay. After getting a personalized tour of a nearby traditional food market with the amazing array of fruits and vegetables native to Java, we finished the tour by preparing three traditional Javanese dishes under the careful supervision of the hotel cooking staff. The dishes turned out perfectly, and opened our eyes to the possibilities of traditional Indonesian recipes. For the quality of the surroundings and service, our stay was significantly cheaper than you will pay in the much more traveled locations like Bali or Jakarta. In short, it was a very unique and enjoyable experience, and probably ranks as our "best ever" hotel experience.

Villa Song Saigon: "Great riverside location away from the frenetic city centre"

Review by: Sirrah50 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed for 2 nights at the charming colonial style Villa Song. Located in a rather quiet area, getting into the centre might have been a problem if not for the free river boat shuttle, which was a novel experience. The rooms were a good size, immaculate, tastefully decorated and the beds extremely comfortable (stayed as a family of 4 in two rooms). The pool looked very inviting, but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to take a dip. Breakfast was very good with a reasonable selection and the restaurant food was excellent if a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for a special occasion - A special thanks to the affable Kevin. He made us feel so welcome and his menu tips were spot on. Our final dinner was outstanding! However, all the staff were charming and very congenial. Checking in and out was easy and the help via email arranging airport transport prior to our stay was invaluable. Stayed November 2016"

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Amazing food"

Review by: Tam G | Source: Trip Advisor
Have been here twice - once for lunch and once for a special dinner. Both times were amazing - the setting is beautiful, service amazing and the food (the real treasure of the place). High quality and tasty - food that I could get in Europe (which is hard to find in Myanmar). The set menu was pricey but worth it - truffle ravioli and lamb come highly recommended. The chocolate fondant is amazing too!

Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Beautiful Boutique hotel in perfect location"

Review by: relajolla | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a wonderful "boutique" hotel. There are only seven suites and they are essentially one bedroom apartments with excellent views of the town and river. The service was first rate and the breakfast was wonderful. Served on their rooftop restaurant, it was delicious and allowed you to watch the little city wake up. The restaurant on the ground floor has both indoor and outdoor service and the food is very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it to any travelers.
