The Island Lodge: "Relaxing place with lovely staff"
"We stayed here at the beginning of our trip to Vietnam for three nights, with the intention of recovering from jet lag at a leisurely place and pace. One of us had started the trip with a nasty cold and we decided it needed a look from a doctor. The hotel owner, Michel and his assistant Amy were very helpful in arranging this quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Within a couple of hours we had been to the local clinic (with Amy on hand to translate) and returned with appropriate medications. This was above what we would have expected and topped off a very relaxing stay in a well thought out hotel. I had an amazing time in the heritage site with superb commentary by the female owner sharing her real-life stories in conserving the place. It was engaging and insightful sharing. If you're looking for something special, unique and authentic then Tugu is it! A truly wonderful experience all round. Our accommodation was lovely. We stayed in the Dedari Suite and we're lucky to have not just a plunge pool , but an extended view through reeds across a pond and beyond to a nearby temple. We could even get glimpses of the surf! The staff were amazing, the gardens and buildings incredible. A wonderful way to immerse yourself in Balinese history. The attention to detail is everywhere, right down to the metal elephant door knobs in the public restrooms. Trying one of Tugu's cultural banquets is highly recommended. The recently opened Ji restaurant and bar is also destined to be a winner. Good food and drinks in a very quirkily exotic bar.The Village House: "LOVE IT!"

Fantastic experience and very unique concept to local Singaporean food. I rang the restaurant 2 days earlier to check on the menu and mentioned we were celebrating my partner's birthday and the restaurant served us a cake with a candle at the end of the meal! Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Cabochon Hotel during our recent trip to Bangkok. Everything from the unique and interesting design, the amazing gin and tonic bar, the rooftop pool with great views of the city, the quiet location, the excellent restaurant and the extremely helpful and friendly staff made our visit very enjoyable. "Just 18 bungalows/rooms, each beautifully and comfortably furnished with their own semi-outdoor bathrooms. Efficient air conditioning. Spa with a range of treatments and massages. An endless white sand beach. Good sized pool although more sunloungers might be a good idea. Yoga centre. Two restaurants to choose from: one on the beach which is especially fabulous at breakfast. Lovely 4 day stay here in May 2017. We had a lovely twin rooms, which was very well maintained. The staff was very good and very good at organising tours, restaurants etc. Breakfast was very nice, as was dinner. "Supanniga Group has several restaurants over Bangkok and, somehow, all seem to merge (at least as the TripAdvisor is concerned) into one location at Sukhumvit 55. This is unfortunate, since all have their distinct personality. In particular, the main location on Sathorn 10, is a more interesting version of Supanniga and diners are unnecessarily diverted to the Sukhumvit branch. Try Sathorn Soi 10 and you'll not be disappointed. Traditional Thai cuisine at its best served at a very pleasant location in a well hidden but easily accessible small soi near the Chong Nonsi BTS. Food is superb, try it if you want to taste the real Thai food. Also, for tourists/short time visitors, this should be your chance to see Thailand from inside. Avoid the glitter of the main avenues, go deep into side sois and you'll discover an entirely different, and more authentic Thailand."Maison Polanka: "Serenity Now!"
A beautiful setting with and Exceptionally attentive Staff. Excellent Food cooked to order from a small, but skilled Kitchen. Room & Shower were very nice. The rabbit likes Bananas. The grounds are lovely and the pool is perfect.
