Rakkojae Seou: "Beautiful hanok"

Review by: fallletter | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed here for 3 nights. The hostess and Kim, hanok manager, were very nice and warm-hearted people. I would recommend this place to travelers who seek traditional hanok to stay. My tour guide told me other hanoks are small compared to Rakkojae.

Rachamankha: "small and cosy boutique hotel close to the city"

Review by: chbarthels | Source: Trip Advisor
Rachamanka, part of secret retreats, is a very special place in Chiang Mai. You are close to many attractions, but in the moment you 'll pass trough the door you are in a peaceful oasis. The whole hotel is decorated with antics and artworks of the regions. Everything is very tastful and well chosen. The staff is nice and obliging. The pool is a nice place to spend the hot time of the day. The library has many interessting books about Chiang Mai and the entire region and culture. breakfast is served in a cosy courtyard and there is also a small bar for a drink in the evening. We have not eaten in the hotel, so we cannot say anything about the food, breakfast was delicouse and offered a great choice.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Beautiful and Serene"

Review by: sandip_17 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"This place surpassed our already high expectations ! Some of things that took our breath away - A vast secluded CLEAN beach, Clean sea water, Dolphins swimming. Even the interiors of the resort are beautiful. The rooms are rustic on the outside and modern and comfortable comparable to any 5-7 star property. The bathrooms are beautiful beyond imagination. The resort uses plastic minimally and lives up to its green promise. Infinity pool is gorgeous (...) The library deserves a special mention. Its not some randomly put together library but cleverly chosen selection of literature. It would have been great to have some Indian books for young readers as this resort attracts a lot of family crowd as per our experience. Staff deserves special mention as they were generous and friendly but same time non intrusive. We can't wait to go back as we already feel drawn towards the place once again."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing and 100% natural environment"

Review by: Archiettz | Source: Trip Advisor
Resort is located at the river, you can feel the movement of the stream. As it is surrounded by forest, you can enjoy sound of birds/insects/other animals. Service is excellent, staff is nice and helpful. Luz,the resort manager, introduces all facilities in the resort in very clear way. You can ask her any questions about the resort and she will kindly answer you all. There are no air-cons in the whole resort ,Fans are provided in the lodges and there is breeze,so you will feel very comfortable without any hot feelings. Food provided is mainly western style, taste is ok. Atmosphere of the restaurant is nice , guitar songs(recorded) are played in the restaurant area. You can enjoy swimming, fishing and canoeing in the resort. There are several tours provided in the resort e.g. Tatai waterfall, sunset tour etc. I have chosen trekking in Cardamom mountains areas. It will cost you around 8hrs but you can explore in a rain forest. If you are lucky, you can meet some wildlife during the tour. WiFi is not provided by the resort during my stay,so I have bought a 4G data card by myself in airport , it is from metphone(ISP), signal is downgraded to 2G in the resort area , but it is already enough for whatspp, skype and email. Luz said WiFi will be provided by resort very soon.

Satri House: "The ideal hotel, faultless in every way"

Review by: jojomartin | Source: Trip Advisor
"We chose Satri House after a bad experience in Chiang Mai and didn't want to take any chances. Our choice was extremely good. Satri House is perfect in almost every way. The architecture, the ambience, the gardens, the stafff all blend into a package that I really cannot fault. There is something so natural, so unassuming and effortless in the professionalism at Satri House that people in every service industry could learn from. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay from three to six nights. We arrived and were welcomed and showed into the charming drawing room, where Giovanni introduced himself. We had a junior suite in House 7, which some people here have said might be somewhat louder than elsewhere, but the hotel is situated in a city after all. It was not a problem; on the contrary, the decor and fittings were extremely tasteful. How great was it not to have a flat-screen TV in a hotel room as the default option! The large four-poster bed was very comfortable, the room had both a fan and air-conditioning. We ate at the restaurant once at Satri House on our first evening and would recommend it. The waiting staff, who double up at the bar, are really friendly and, if you want, keen to practise their English and tell you about Lao culture (Thanks Panyit and Peng!) Breakfast consists or either Western choices (baguette, to-die-for-croissants with homemade pineapple, tomato and tamarind jams, egg dishes) or Lao dishes (noodle soups, rice porridge etc). Again, the staff were extremely attentive and unassuming, watched over by a lady restaurant head who could seemingly converse in every possible language. There are two pools, with each lounger sporting towels and a complementary Panama hat. The centre of Satri House is colonial villa which has been added on to in the same style by the present owner. The small gardens blend in to the buildings, joined by bamboo-lined alleys and stairways, decorated tastefully with colonial furniture and statues of Oriental divinities. It's cleverly executed, making the site seem bigger than it is. An odour of lemongrass lingers in the air, pleasant to human noses and repellent for mosquitoes. Satri House is quite simply the best place I have ever stayed in."

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "A little bit of paradise"

Review by: Jennifer D R | Source: Trip Advisor
"Staff are extremely welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay a real pleasure. Rooms were comfortable and grounds well looked after Breakfast was really nice and other meals were tasty and economical. It is a little out of the main town area , we had access to a guide and driver thru Exo travel which made it say to get around. Thanks to the staff and management."

Jing’s Residence: "Feeling Welcome In Beauttiful Surroundings"

Review by: inaz980 | Source: Trip Advisor
Jing's Residence in the charming old town of Pingyao is one of a kind. It has all the attributes one wishes a hotel would possess, but rarely encounters in real life. For one thing, I was struck by the extremely appealing aesthetics of the compound, with its inner courtyards, its beautiful rooms/suites with all the amenities one would desire, its upstairs library with computers, its excellent restaurant... It is, however, the atmosphere of the place, the way you feel welcome and the sense that the staff cares about your well-being that really makes Jing's Residence such a unique and pleasing experience. My only regret is that, because of our tight schedule, we could not stay a few extra days and imbibe more of this relaxing, yet invigorating atmosphere.

Manukan Island Resort: "Really worth the price and best ever for manukau island!"

Review by: Yeo L | Source: Trip Advisor
We booked a hillside villa and the view is amazing! It’s nearer to the resorts private beach and far from the public beach which has a lot of tourists during daytime. The hillside villa is a cozy and clean and tidy bungalow. The only thing I wouldn’t like much in the island I think is the sunset point, which we walked for approx. 1/2 hour but just couldn’t see the sunset as the sun was covered by the cloud! And I have forgotten to bring the torch light so we have to walk in the dark in the forest trail! Other than that everything is so perfect and terrific! I give it a five star!

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Ort der Harmonie und Gaumenfreude"

Review by: Markus V | Source: Trip Advisor
Ein Ort der Harmonie in der Metropole Yangon. Zum Wohlfühlen und sich verwöhnen lassen. Liebevoll gestaltet.

Review by: Olivia D | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed September 2016, traveled with family"
