Tugu Lombok: "Outstanding and unique!"
We recently enjoyed a three day stay in a Bhagavat Gita suite (107) filled with antiques, artwork and the biggest most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! The service was impeccable and the food wonderful. Make sure you have a beach dinner one night - just magic. The outdoor shower is also amazing! I would highly recommend a stay here and we certainly hope to go back.Villa Song Saigon: "Just magic"
To be honest, i couldn't wait to write a review for this place. It was simply wonderful. Right by the river, all day breakfast, comfiest beds ever, amazing staff and an all round warm fuzzy vibe. Every night a member of staff would come and deliver complimentary slices of cake... such a lovely touch! There are free bus and boat rides into the city at various times each day, it only takes about 20 minutes. Theres a pool and gym along with a day spa to make your stay homey. In the end it all came down to the staff, they're all so helpful and happy that is was impossible to have a bad time. 5 stars!Sukoon Houseboat: "Sukoon… Peace of mind"
"Happened to stay at sukoon for one night. Houseboat is located in one corner of dal lake and it rightfully earns it's name ""sukoon"". All I can hear was birds chirping, occasional ripples of water caused due to shikara and ofcourse my baby girl commenting in her coded language. You will find an amazing team who amongst themselves can communicate in total 10 Indian languages. Give a free hand to chef Anand who can experiment and amaze you with his culinary skills. Try Kashmiri bread with butter and apple cinnamon jam. For travellers who would like to watch TV this place would disappoint you as in principle it's against the theme. For history lovers make sure to read a letter from the office of Neil Armstrong dated 1972. A vote of thanks to tariq, kiran, azad and Anand for their wonderful hospitality. "We had Dinner at Villa Song on New Years Eve. The Building is beautiful and when you arrive and walk down the way to the entrance, it looks very enchanting. Everything was lit up with light chains. The table setting was nice and the waiters were very attentive. The special menu for this evening sounded promising and did not disappoint. If I had to say which dish I liked the most I couldn‘t because every single course was delicious and beautifully arranged. The dinner was accompanied by live music and later by traditional vietnamese music. "We arrived by a perfect flight into Yala on the day as a large group for a friends birthday celebration holiday. Noel was the perfect host, the staff and team were hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly. We did 4 safari's, over 2 large lots in the national park, spotted 8 leopards (one for a good half hour posed around a waterhole for perfect photos) and discovered many other birds and wildlife. The food was magical, different every meal, great vegetarian mixed with a touch of meat, no-one was left hungry, a great introduction to Sri Lankan food, it was hard to match after we left. Beds are comfortable, flushing toilets and outdoor showers added to the Safari. The honeymoon tent is aircon and glam so jump into that one, otherwise stay cool in the hammock provided outside your tent. I can honestly say, as an animal and bird lover, this was the highlight of my and my husbands trip, I not have the safari bug and want to do so many more! We loved our stay at Rachamankha. As others said, it felt like you were in a secluded location when you were actually right in the heart of old town Chiang Mai. Paul, the manager, is too good for words. He found out we were on our honeymoon...at our next hotel in Krabi, we had a package waiting for us in our room one night. It was a custom piece of artwork, with both my and my wife's names written in thai, and a personal note from Paul thanking us for staying at the hotel. "We had a main floor room. It was large and so was the bathroom. Both the bed and the bathtub were high so there may be a problem for persons with mobility problems. Air conditioned plus a fan. Well kept and clean. The hotel was one short block from the main street where the monks come every morning. It was a ten minute walk to the night market and easy walking distance to many wats nearby. Also close to boats for river trips, especially sunset cruises. Breakfast for westerners consisted of juice, fruit, bacon and eggs, local french inspired bread and coffee. highly recommended. We got a great deal at US70.00 per night. Was worth more than that. Room Tip: All rooms face the river and a busy street which is not noisy after 10:00 at night."Manda De Laos: "Muriel P"

"We were pointed towards 'small luxury hotels of the world' and found this little charmer. By comparison to a lot of the other hotels on the site, it was relatively inexpensive at just under £100 for the night. The welcome was lovely, a genuine welcome drink from a selection (including alcohol - yay) and a strict rule of no tipping. The lobby is beautifully appointed with great attention to detail, from the sumptuous sofas to the endless array of Asian teapots. The room itself is gorgeous, with a GINORMOUS bed which could easily sleep around 27 good friends, a fabulous infinity jacuzzi bath and separate large dressing area and luggage storage. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and likely stay again. Stayed April 2017"
