MesaStila: "Coffee Plantation in Paradise!"
"What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! The late Gabriella Teggia worked a miracle when she put her heart and soul into saving this part of Indonesia! The plantation itself is incredible; the food at Java Red and Java Green Restaurants was amazing; the staff are kind and welcoming; and the village walk to Losari and other villages is delightful! We loved the batik we purchased at Batik Losari from the charming owner and her daughter! Munir, our guide for a day trip to Jogjakarta, tried very hard to show us all of the sights. Tia gave us an excellent tour of the plantation itself. In the restaurant, Nur, Ana, Deby, and several other amazing young people did an excellent job taking care of us. We would highly recommend at stay at this wonderful retreat! "Poring Hot Spring Nature Reserve: "areleaf"
Terletak kira2 1 jam dari pekan kundasang, disini terdapat pelbagai tempat untuk reakreasi seperti air terjun gua dan pokok.-pokok. Tempat ini sesuai jika ingin mencari ketenanganMesaStila: "Perfect place to find peace"
"I recently had a solo stay at MesaStila and loved every minute of it. The villas are spread out amongst a coffee plantation so you get a real sense of privacy. The villas are huge and well appointed. Service by all staff members is excellent. The spa and Hammam are amazing. The food is healthy and good. I really couldn't fault any aspect of my stay. Stayed November 2016, traveled solo"KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "A great place to stay at Koh Samui"
"I and my partner spent five days at Khwan Beach Resort and our experience was nothing but fantastic. This is a small resort run by competent, kind and diligent people (Gaelle, Nittaya, Sai and Margot) who will make everything to fulfil yur wishes. Located literally at a two minute walk away from Mae Nam beach, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxed holidays, surrounded by nature, nice villas each with its own private swimming pool, and (walking distance) close to restaurants, convenient stores, fresh fruit markets, etc. I will definitely return to this place. Mind you however that the resort has just initiated construction works for a restaurant which may cause some inconvenience during the day. Therefore, if you are planning to stay there, contact one of the managers (Gael or Margot) for more details "Tugu Malang: "One of the World’s Great Hotels"
"It is rare to find a hotel where service is flawless in every detail: The Tugu Malang, one of the world's few truly great hotels, is such a place: The hotel is of such astonishing beauty and the staff are such nice hard-working people, anxious to please in every way, that the Tugu is in fact a destination in itself. If you have no other reason to stop in Malang, then do so to enjoy the extraordinary pleasures of the Tugu. The rooms are ravishing, each one with some element of art and designed thoughtfully for maximum comfort. Exotic fruits await you; the bed is turned down with a friendly note before you go to sleep. Want your shoes cleaned? They come back polished better than when they were new. Breakfast includes almost unlimited pleasures: the menu is vast and you can combine local and Western dishes. Everything is both artful and delicious and the restaurant setting is a work of art in itself. Afternoon tea is included, with an array of local delicacies, served with the ever-present Tugu charm. The hotel owner has built a world-class museum into the hotel. Seemingly endless antiques and art are fabulously displayed; and the best part is that the hotel supplies a brilliant and knowledgeable tour guide to take you round. My guide was Wahyu, who clearly loves the hotel and told me he takes considerable amounts of time to research the objects on display so as to give the best presentation. His tour was completely involving because of his intelligence and enthusiasm -- it felt like being a celebrity receiving a highly-privileged personal presentation from the head curator of a national museum! I do hope that management will recognize Wahyu's excellence and ensure his career development in both museum curating and management! Reception also has the best people: kind, knowledgeable, helpful. They can get you wherever you want in town and make any needed arrangements for you. If you'd like to visit Bromo I'd highly recommend taking the cross-desert route from Malang: it is highly scenic and also quite surreal in places. I did the trip the other way round by ojek (motorbike taxi), but you can also do it by jeep and the Tugu can make arrangements. The ability to take this mindbending route is reason enough to stay in Malang. But you don't even need that reason. The rare graciousness, fragrant beauty, opulence, detailed service and pure delight that exemplifies everything the Tugu stands for means that you should head for the Tugu if you are anywhere in the region for no other reason than to stay in one of the most fabulous five-star hotels in the world at a price for which you would get something only very ordinary in the USA or Europe. This is a best of the best, a treasure, a complete delight: don't miss the opportunity to stay there!"David’s Kitchen: "If there were more places like this in the world"
"I wish I could explain the ambience of this restaurant without you experiencing it first hand. I know I can't do it justice with words alone, but for the purpose of the review I'll try: ""crisp table cloths, meet the friendly, wonderful and chatty waiting staff to create a pristine yet comfortable place to enjoy a great meal."" I started with the scallops and I wasn't disappointed. Perfectly cooked and presented, with a wonderful Sauvignon to compliment. For main course I had the steak which was again perfectly cooked and served with some great sides. At this point I was lucky enough to have a chat with the owner, a wonderful man with a great story about how him and his wife created this special place. He explained the dessert menu and I was drawn to the soufflé, given it was accompanied by Prom's home made ice cream it seemed the logical choice. And it was beautiful. If you're looking for fine dining a with a wonderful heart, give this place a try when you're in Chang Mai"The Hue House: "Wonderful food with stunning ambience"
Perched high on a rooftop in Central Ho Chi Minh City, this restaurant oozes style and matches it with visually stunning and tasty food. It may be a little difficult to find, for some, but its worth finding. Varied menu to cater for all tastes.Tugu Lombok: "Number One in My List of Favourite Hotels"
"Tugu Lombok is the dreamed hotel for all who imagine a paradise with silent tropical white sanded beaches, wooden villa, just a few steps from the light blue sea. The resort is designed as a boutique one, a precious collection of asian art is arranged around the restaurants, the villas and the gardens. Walking around you are touched by an amazing culture, art and sence of luxury design. Each villa has a priveate pool and a beach, tropical shower under the stars. The honeymoon villa is the ONE! Tugu Lombok is a great place to propose to your Love! Or to excape for a romantic vacation... Room Tip: Villas at the beach side are amazing!"Maison Polanka: "Spoil yourself"
"This place was top notch. It was beautiful and quiet and the rooms were perfect. But what makes it top notch was all of the detail and the way the staff anticipate your needs. For example, we mentioned we might take their free bicycles into town so when we later left our room we noticed they had set out two bikes but also put cold water and a map in the baskets for us. You can book drivers/tuk tuks/guides through the hotel for temple visits and they always sent water and cold towels with the drivers- much appreciated in that heat! The hotel food was the best we had in the city. There are only five rooms so it feels personal but still offers plenty of privacy. The pool is the perfect place to hang out in the hot afternoons (or any time) and the entire compound makes you feel like you are in an oasis. The staff could not have been friendlier or more thorough. This place was worth every penny. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Sukoon Houseboat: "A good break"
Quiet recluse tucked in the corner of Dal lake. The service was impeccable and Rooms clean. If there was something which could be improved it is the food, slightly bland may be catering to foreign pallets.
