Villa Song Saigon: "Great stay"
We had a very pleasurable stay at the Villa Song. The hotel is beautiful and clean, located in the quieter district 2, by the Saigon river. Staff is more than helpful (restaurant booking and recommendation, helped us a lot on various occasion, if possible they will let you have early check-in and late check-out, etc). Breakfast in the garden by the river is delicious, great choice of dishes. Last but not least, the boat shuttle to downtown Saigon is an amazing experience, gives you kind of a James Bond feeling cruising on the river. Highly recommended stay!Amata Lanna: "Excellent in every aspect"
Stayed here for 4 times, really had great time. The room was clean, adequate and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, and informative on places to go. The location was great and easily accessible by all means.Samanea Beach Resort: "Hidden Paradise in Kep"
We have enjoyed our 4-night stay in this place for starting our trip in Cambodia. It's very calm and the place is superb. The staff and the manager very great and very helpful. You can ask them to organize anything for you (attractions, activities, transfer, tuktuk), they know reliable people and the prices are fair. The food at the hotel was also very good. You'll need a tuktuk to go to crab market or beach, it's a bit too far away to walk there, it's only 3USD however sometime you would prefer being able just to walk to head to a restaurant. Anyway we have enjoyed it and would have stayed a bit longer4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A fantastic place never seen anything like this"
Peace and quiet- this is an amazing place. Go there and see and experience it. Lovely food and the tents are amazing with a front porch and the bathroom is something different you can look at the river wen you take a bath. The staff are really friendly and helpful and will do everything for you.Les Maisons d’Itac: "Great place to stay"
We really enjoyed staying at this resort. We slept at Maison Ulysse and I really enjoyed the interior and . The resort has a lot of details and it very well looked after. It is hard to communicate with the staff as they hardly speak any English. But Bryan (the manager) is most of the time present to help and give you tipps. Due to the fact that this resort is very small, it has a familiar atmosphere which we enjoyed. We also felt very safe, never looked our hutSatri House: "Authentic Experience"
"Satri House delivers on its promise of being ""a historic destination, a unique design"". The original house was run as a hotel since 2002 and was extended in 2008 reflecting the original architecture. We stayed over Songkran for 4 nights and were warmly welcomed by Jacques Mury (General Manager) and Navinda Imbubpa (Guest Experience Manager). On arrival to the room, we were impressed by the handwritten welcome note from Jacques. Whilst it is true that the hotel is located close to a fairground (the source of techno music correctly referred to in the previous review), we understand that Luang Prabang is always tranquil and that the volume we experienced was limited to this New Year festival only. We reflected on the importance of a pre-visit study. Notwithstanding this, Satri House is an amazing hotel. The renovation mirrors the original house perfectly. The Satri House team is attentive and caring. Key takeaways: # the staff is incredibly warm and greet you with sincerity # the housekeeping and gardener teams are amazing # the breakfast is plentiful. We recommend the freshly made noodle soup # the restaurant is terrific. We ate in many restaurants during our visit and will review them separately. We found the quality of the food at the Satri House restaurant to be equal to our better dining experiences # we love the two pools. Whilst we agree that the main pool could do with more lounges, we note that there are additional lounges at the second pool # the hotel is not located in the centre of the (small) city of Luang Prabang. It is in fact a 15-20 min walk to the city centre. The hotel does provide complimentary lockable bicycles with baskets that will get you there in 5-8 minutes One suggestion is to resolve the positioning of the Google Maps location pin. I am confident that when return to Satri House outside of the New Year festival, we will rate our experience as excellent."Rachamankha: "Serene Refined Hotel"
"Ratchamankha, Chiang Mai, Thailand The photos posted by other travelers hardly do justice to this exquisite jewel box of a hotel. Our family of four was lucky enough to stay in one of the newly opened two-bedroom suites. A long, covered balcony, complete with a silk-cushioned bench, runs the length of the suite, providing a view to the serene courtyard and pool below. A spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated living room divides the two bedrooms. Breakfast is served around the corner in a separate courtyard. Heaven! In the evening, a fire is lit and on special nights a local musician plays traditional melodies. Asian antiques and art are displayed throughout the property. An army of workers tend the garden and the buildings, keeping everything in immaculate shape. Additionally, the owner employs many Burmese refugees, trains them, houses them, and pays them well. You can feel wonderful about supporting such a hotel. What a find!!!! "Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A must see"
"The so called Blue Mansion located on 14 Leith Street, is one of the places you cannot miss in Georgetown ,Penang. There is a 45 minute daily tour at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3.30 p.m and the price is around 17 RM per adult. These tours are in English but there are tours available in other languages as well. The only thing that you won't like about it, is that it is not permitted to take photographs inside the house, which is a pity because it's beautiful. In spite of this drawback the mansion is worth visiting . The mansion is also a boutique hotel for those who want a traditional style accommodation and there is a restaurant as well. Visit my blog The Leisure Diaries to see some pictures."Sandat Glamping Tents: "Très bel endroit au calme"
