The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Beautiful and charming hotel"
Cabochon is a unique boutique hotel for people looking for a place different than the cookie cutter hotels in the city. Beautifully decorated and set back from busy street, it's still centrally located and close to Skytrain so very easy to get around. Staff were all extremely nice and the breakfast that was included was a nice selection of both Asian and Western options. Rooftop pool was also a nice option to have.JL Studio: "精緻新穎的新加坡料理"

I like every thing about Cabochon, but mostly the serene and peaceful atmosphere. Despite the very obsessive attention to design details, the overall atmosphere is of ease and friendliness. The food at the restaurant is good. Breakfast is a bit cramped and the small buffet could/ should be improved - the fruit section in particular. One small thing this time the music in the public areas was rather loud, and we had to ask if it could be turned down a little. But these are details. I stay at Cabochon every time I go to Bangkok and I love it.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Wonderful!"
While the last few kilometers of the road to get to Glenburn are the worst road EVER, once you reach this tea plantation, you are pampered and cosseted with the best of service, in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Rooms are large and extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Your hosts are friendly and engaging. Local shop has great stuff. Food is really good. A shame that lunches (while excellent) are continental fare -- the Indian and Tibetan foods served at dinner and breakfast are far superior. Super friendly and helpful staff, a gorgeous old style building creaking with history in a peaceful soi just off sukhumvit, the Cabochon gives you all you need for a stay in this hectic city. From its handy location near to the BTS to its deserted rooftop pool this hotel delivers. Breakfast is good (although personally I always like to see some Bircher muesli on offer!). We slept wonderfully here, it's quiet and the beds are comfortable.MAISONS WAT KOR: "Feel like home place"
"We staid for 2 nights at Maisons Wat Kor with our family and friends and everyone loved their stay. Rooms are good size, very tastefully decorated and clean, the garden is really big and relaxing to walk around. There is a connecting room for families with the kids! The kids loved the pool and little bungalow overlooking lotus pond where they could relax and play. The staff were always helpful and organized trips to town if we wished to do so. Though it was nice just to hang around the place. We also had Spa treatments on request. The restaurant is also a lovely place to eat in the evening. We enjoyed local cuisine and had nice evenings together. The breakfast are included and are also very good. Highly recommended for family trips, romantic stay or just relaxing weekend with friends "CABOCHON: "Excellent"

"We arrived to grey weather and the welcome was as warm as ever! Every single one of the staff here are smiling and welcoming, they treat you like very special guests and the service is wonderful! The chalets each have 2 rooms, so very private...the ""wake ip call"" come with a person serving you tea or coffee as ordered the night before...today was early because the mountains"" are here""... So in order to enjoy the view you get up really early, it is worth it! The food here is scrumptious, be it Nepali or western...one tends to indulge... "Sukoon Houseboat: "Surely this is the best"
"Sukoon means Peace, and this beautiful houseboat stands serene in a quiet part of Dal Lake. Hospitality begins at the jetty, with a transfer on Sukoon's big motor-powered shikara. Furnishings and beds are comfortable, bathrooms have a large tub and a large shower-stall, maintenance and cleanliness are immaculate, service is warm, discreet and highly professional. The sundeck on the roof is perfect for al fesco breakfast and lunch. What more could one want?"Muang La Lodge: "Excellent"
Muang La Lodge is one of a kind--I stayed only two nights, but wish I could have stayed two weeks. The staff are charming and attentive, and have a way of foreseeing your every need. The food is fantastic--particularly the five-course dinners--and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend taking a nice soak (or fifty) in the hot spring, and making the trek to see the local villages in the hills. The rooms are comfortable and wifi is available, but let's be honest: those emails from your horrible boss can wait, and you can binge watch Netflix when you're not in paradise. In short, one of the most positive and relaxing stays I've had in a long time. So treat yourself--we all know you deserve it.
