Reverie Siam: "The best place to stay in Pai and a superb address"
We stayed there for one night and we did not regret it. After 3 hours of mountain drive from ChiangMai we really enjoyed checking in here. For a first trial, the owners have been doing extremely well. Superb decoration, very nice colonial atmosphere, beautiful villa with very large bathroom. We took so many pictures of everything including of the well designed restaurant. Do not expect to have thai food but rather mediterranean. Pools are great, service excellent. It is a must to stay at Reverie Siam and the price is still very much correct. No single reason not to book there. You can only enjoy. The Hue House: "Great place for authentic Hue cuisine"
Very nice rooftop view with the great astmophere, can make you feel like you're in Hue. The food was so awsome and exotic with stranger names like Cao Lau, com Am Phu... The owner is very funny and friendly.Sukoon Houseboat: "Amazing View"
The rooms are clean and the well maintained. The bathrooms are very clean and don't even realise that you are on a house boat. The staff are very warm and welcoming . The food was good with variety. A must stay for a night !Tugu Lombok: "SIMPLY AMAZING!"
"Hotel Tugu Lombok has to be seen to be believed! The grounds, buildings and rooms are delightful, as is the natural setting - everything seemed like an adventure with something new to discover at every turn. While the hotel is not new or slick it is authentic and conveys a sense of being in Indonesia perfectly (rather than just feeling you are staying in a generic international resort). But this hotel's merits are really in the care, attention and genuine sense of hospitality displayed by the amazing staff. Everyone knows your name and likes/dislikes on day one, are super friendly but also know how to be unobtrusive if you seek privacy. There are also lots of activities that can be arranged should you wish to explore the area but it is actually very hard to tear yourself away from your new perfect ""home"", not the mention the shock of going back into the real world when it is time to sadly leave! This is our 2nd stay at a Tugu hotel (Tugu Bali is equally gorgeous) and as each seemed to very much have their own character we are planning a Tugu tour of Indonesia in the future to experience the country's culture, art and cuisine in the best possible way! Room Tip: Apenam Bungalows are in a quiet area facing a lovely grassy lawn and close to a huge, very unique..."Mie Cafe: "Fantastic food!"
The restaurant in a nice wooden house is located a bit outside of the center of Siem Reap. We got there by Tuk-tuk and chose 3 courses: Tuna tartar with mango, traditional fish Amok and fried bananas with mango and vanilla ice. We loved it so much that we came back the day after and ordered the same items again. Really nice!Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic boutique hotel on the river"
"We had 2 rooms and both were great. They are a little small but enough space for luggage. The room was well appointed. Mini bar and breakfast are included and if you are hungry you can have multiple breakfasts. The food was excellent. The outdoor dining area is beautiful and you don't feel like your are in the middle of the city. The staff are attentive and go out of their way to accommodate. We will definitely return. "Reverie Siam: "Stunning resort and great value"
"My friend and I traveled in Thailand for two weeks and this was by far our favorite resort. The staff is warm and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and allow you to appreciate Pai's beauty. Rooms are big and decorated perfectly. This is however not a traditional Thai resort. The decor and food is western, but don't let that deter you from going because the experience, food, and views are worth it. "Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Relax in luxury"
"From the moment you enter this resort you start to relax. The resort is well designed so you feel very secluded from other guests. We had a seaview room which was very comfortable. It was spacious and had a nice sit out area which was shaded at all times. The pool is magical with great views over the sea. We stayed for 4 nights and for most of the time we were the only guests as it was the start of the season. I started each day with the yoga, the instructor Anil is excellent and he was patient with this beginner. The food is very good, no western food on the main menu but they did offer to create some for us - but we couldn't resist the local dishes. The do have indian beer and wine but no cocktails or spirits. The staff were very attentive and we were looked after very well. The spa is an oasis of calm and I recommend trying some treatments, the therapists were great. The beach was lovely to walk along, easily accessible from the resort. It's not a private beach so we met some very friendly locals. I only left the resort once, for a short cycle on one of the hotel bikes which was fun. I'd love to return here and could easily stay for a week. Total relaxation in this beautiful oasis of calm."Mie Cafe: "Creative, delicious vegan set"
"We weren't expecting a vegan option when we booked this place on friends' recommendation. But when we arrived, the vegan menu looked so delicious, we had to order it. The cute chef is very talented, taking common Cambodian ingredients (eggplant, tomatoes, herbs) and combining them in new ways. The vegetable curry was divine, and the open-air setting a delight. "Reverie Siam: "Beautiful resort – great place to stay"
I can't recommend Reverie Siam enough! Set in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town, Reverie Siam is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. It offers beautiful and comfortable rooms with ensuites (including a deep bath tub), two pools, a restaurant, a free shuttle service into town (including providing a mobile to call them for pick-up), free wifi, and complementary breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!
