Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Romantic place"
Book at Battambang Resort, Battambang. No Reservation Costs. Great Rates. Great Availability · Special Offers. Comfortable stay, away from the town, but good for exploring the countryside. Very good food at the restaurant.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Touching perfection"
From the moment you arrive at Glenburn and greeted by Will Faye and Alex, the wonderful experience of Glenburn begins. The buildings might be old English but the staff and the service is warm and attentive. A morning walk to the river of a little over 2 hours through the Glenburn Tea plantations with a wonderful guide is rewarded with welcome refreshments and a BBQ lunch. Heaven. On another day, Parveez the Plantation Manager, who manages 1000 people, took time out of his busy schedule to take us on a tour of the Tea Factory and educate us on the finer points of making tea, Darjeeling tea. We learn about Silver Needle, First Flush, Green and Oolong tea. Further walks through the local villages and we meet such happy and smiling people. You feel yourself wind down and relax. The meals are wonderful at Glenburn, all prepared with themes each evening around a table with all the guests eating together. Breakfasts and lunches are either taken on the veranda with the other guests, in your room or packed up for you if you are travelling. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is possible at Glenburn. Train tickets were changed, guides provided for private trips and food and drink prepared on request. Heaven! As Arne said famously "We'll be back!"Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Hôtel Parfait"
"Excellent hôtel-concept.
World class diving...the staff was friendly, accommodating, and excited to share any knowledge about marine life or surrounding area. The food was fresh and plentiful while offering a nice variety. Beautiful resort with paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling, scuba diving, and spa services. Having air condition over the beds at night was comforting and being able to step off your deck to walk, swim or snorkel was lovely. Bring whatever you need with you as this is a remote island. Small refrigerators are in villas. Loved this resort!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relax and switch off"
"Stayed here for two nights in a lovely ,clean, well equipped floating tent. All the staff were really friendly and keen to share details of the property and surrounding area. Hopefully it will remain free from wifi and phone signals as it is a refreshing change to unplug from everything and just slow down and enjoy the surroundings . Some details from the stay that are hopefully helpful -Approx 20 min scenic transfer by boat to the lodge with ample room for suitcases etc. -Good quality toiletries and plent of towels. -Mosquito nets integrated into the tent with extra flaps to close if it rains. Insect repellant spray in the room. -Electric and ceiling fans to cool the tents. -Good choice for meals with a daily changing set menu or a la carte menu. All the food and drink we had was really nice ( salad and ice cubes etc all safe to have here) -Choice of excursions during the stay We had an all too short stay here and wish we had stayed longer. If you want to relax and slow down then this is the ideal place"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "outstanding"
A peaceful, comforatble place in which to be restored. A wonderful beach and a great sea of small, and very warm, waves for the children to bound in. The food here is the best of India, the servants unobtrusive but caring. The tailor in the shop makes excellent clothes in a night. One of the best places we have found.Rachamankha: "Amazing"
The staff here were super amazing I would reccommend staying here Location was great and very comfortable with a great breakfast The staff were sooo easy to get along with We had one incident with the washing but clothes are cheap enough that it was funny in the end Cheap and awesomeCheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Back to the past"
"As i thought it was one of my most beautiful few days what i spent in a historical mansion!! Those indigo blue walls and the whole spirit of the hotel it's just amazing!! Perfect choices of breakfast...nice athmospheric restaurant with french taste of kitchen!! A kind of feeling if you 'd stay in a museum! Highly recommended to those who likes history and beauty!"misool: "Wonderful vacation"
"We visited for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The diving was exceptional. My wife and I have about 80 dives from Fiji, Bali and the Caribbean, so we are experienced but not experts. The dive team was fantastic and the sites themselves were the best we have been to by far. All close by. The resort does much more than talk about ""eco"" . They are dedicated and it shows in almost all that goes on. Food was great, accommodations were comfortable and the staff is very helpful, I went and got a pot of coffee the first morning to bring back to our porch and the next day they brought it to us at 6:30 am. It is not a luxurious, stuffy, place but very comfortable and unique in the world. We had water cabin 5 and I think it would be my choice in the future because it is sheltered from the afternoon sun but my wife thought water cabin 8 would be preferable because it is a little more private ( it gets the sun in the afternoon though) We will go back sometime for sure."Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Perfect in every way"
We loved Cabochon Hotel. From our initial dealings over email to our warm welcome on arrival, the staff looked after our family and ensured our stay was stress free. Suites are beautiful and we had a connecting door through to our sons suite which was very helpful. Breakfast was simple but good quality and tasty, beds are comfy and excellent quality bedlinen. A highlight was the swimming pool which was always quiet. We returned for one more night on our way back home and stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was even better - light filled and larger balcony. We have nothing to be negative and we think we are pretty fussy.
