Maison Polanka: "A thoroughly great, homey, unique, and all around enjoyable place to stay"
"I've stayed in a ton of hotels for work and fun, from hostels to five star, and this place really stands out. The fundamentals are there (comfortable bed, A/C, linens, toiletries, quiet, etc.), the services is top-notch, and the grounds are really beautiful and relaxing, but not in a canned resort kind of way. It's a quiet and spacious oasis in the middle of an otherwise busy city. The food is excellent, and I was impressed by the wine list. The ownership seems to have some French influences. Sadly, we didn't have time to try out a massage, but they're very affordable. We used the house bikes to check out the town, which I thought was great, but my husband found bike riding in Siem Reap very stressful."Manda De Laos: "Delicious"

Absolute heaven on earth. Beautiful location and the staff are all wonderful. You completely relax here. It is definitely one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. The tents are really comfortable with everything you could want. The trip to the Tatai Waterfall was a particular highlight. We also did the 7.00 am trek - although we didn't see any wildlife, it was still very enjoyable and the boat ride back to the Lodge was really beautiful.Glenburn Tea Estate: "One of the most amazing places we have ever stayed"
"We stayed at Glenburn for a long weekend. It was an unbelievable experience. Set in a truly unique location the estate is immaculately kept. Very nice rooms with magnificent views. The dining room is one very large table where all quests eat together. The food is excellent. The estate arranged various trips for us. They are very accommodating. We took a long walk down hill, several hours through absolutely gorgeous tea plantations. At the bottom Glenburn estate has a little cottage where lunch (with cold beers!) was served. We could have walked back up, but chose to drive back up. Very convenient. its the perfect place to unwind and relax and get a feel for this unique part of India."Le Calao: "Delightful, a future icon of Luang Prabang."
With colleagues we hosted a small event at Le Calao over 3days. This is the newest addition to Luang Prabang's dining scene and the very high standard of service, impeccable attention to details and excellent food will ensure the future of Le Calao I am sure. The perfect venue for small meetings in their upstairs dining room and the perfect venue for intimate dining downstairs or on the terrace. And a superb location overlooking the river. Thank-you to Gilles, Yannick and the team for a perfectly managed and catered 3days. I will be back.Glenburn Tea Estate: "A lovely memory"
We will be talking about this wonderful tea estate and welcoming hotel for a very long time. The attention to one's every need, the delicious food, the delightful staff, the superb setting, the tea tour and treks are just some of the attractions of Glenburn. But don't take our words for it just go and experience it yourself ...Les Maisons Wat Ko: "A little Gem"
Mairon What Kor is a very cozy, nice hotel with a beautiful garden, a pond and well-kept rooms. It's is located on a nice and quit spot, outside the city. We had the honor to sleep in the "Angelina Room", The Frangipane 1. (My husband didn't want to leave the room anymore, haha!) The hotel and its restaurant is so nice located that we decided to have diner at the hotel during our stay. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderfull. With special thanks to "Mr. Peach". He is a very nice and friendly man. He makes our stay also very special and and we wish him all the best with his study.Heritage Suites Hotel: "Charming quiet hotel"
The Heritage Suites is delightful.It's small and quiet, in the middle of Siem Reap. The staff are equally lovely, attentive and charming. The main accommodation is in a fairly functional concrete building but the rooms are large, clean and well fitted out. There is small pool with adjoining bar. The food is pretty good too and there are plenty of options for breakfast - including traditional Khmer - worth a try!Satri House: "Very relaxing and charming"
My wife and is stayed Here for 9 days during July, and even the rainy season could not dampen our enjoyment. Satri house is so charming, relaxing, well run and very clean. The staff are very attentive and polite, the whole ambiance is very colonial, lush and elegant. Despite what others say it is only a very brief 5-10 minutes walk into the town. Simply wonderful..Villa Song Saigon: "Great place to relax"
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The building itself is beautiful and our room was spacious and felt very luxurious. There were little touches that we really loved such as the free water and beer in the mini bar which was refilled daily and a daily snack brought to your room in the afternoon. The hotel is out of the city centre, but there are regular boat shuttles to take you in to the centre of town. The pool area is a great sun trap or you can sit by the riverside. The breakfast and dinner area is outside looking out on the riverside and the breakfast is extremely tasty. The best thing about the hotel though was the team who ran the hotel. They were so helpful, giving us great restaurant and activity recommendations and helping us with any questions we have. I highly recommend staying here and you will leave feeling revived!
