Thanks to the team - Faith, Helen, the entire staff at Sea Dance and Poy, the hotel owner, for making us feel so welcome and answering all our questions and giving us great recommendations of where to eat, what to do and see. Lovely beach, infinity pool, the place to chill after a day of exploring Ko Samui. The live music and buffet evening was outstanding and fun, kicked off by free cocktails on the pool deck. Absolutely gorgeous rooms, we had a pool villa which was private. Shops are around the corner, busy Chaweng about 10 minutes away. This lovely retreat really hit all the right spots for us and we would return in a heart beat. Go on and book it, you won't regret it.VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Sanctuary by the Saigon River"
"This is an outstanding hotel. Beautifully refurbished former French colonial mansion with about 25 rooms. We stayed in a Sanctuary room on the top floor. High quality dining at tables beside the Saigon river. Rooms are beautifully decorated with every facility. Loved the TV that rotated 360. The hotel's own speedboat runs a shuttle service to the city centre. Staff excellent. Attention to detail (eg anti mossy spray on dining tables) My wife had a birthday while we were there. "Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our SE 4 month adventure and we really could not have picked a better start. The location is quiet and peaceful which you really need in Bangkok .. and if you have not visited the city before you will not realise how much an oasis like this hotel is needed! The staff were great especially the owner Atty who really could not do enough for us. The rooms are beautiful and the whole hotel oozes style and tranquility. Fresh bread, eggs cooked to order and great coffee for breakfast just the icing on the cake. We walked up the BTS ( sky train ) most days . About 15 min walk but just 40 baht for two in a tuk tuk. Lots of very cool bars and restaurants a short tuk tuk away if you don’t want to walk! A great neighbourhood with a great mix of Thai people and some tourists. Loved it and know that this hotel is going to be hard to beat on the rest of this adventure!"Mie Cafe: "Delicious, calm restaurant!"

"I have been living in Thailand for the past 12 years. And this place is really 1 of the best place to have traditional Thai food. The food portions are just nice. EVERYTHING is delicious! What a gorgeous hotel, dark wood floors, marble, elegant art work and that view....all make for one very chic launch pad from which to see Ho Chi Minh. We only had one night here but we will be back. The breakfast was lovely, the transfer was super luxurious and the bed was heavenly. Come here, chill out and watch the saigon river roll past with a cocktail... Sea dance is a beatiful intimate resort. If you want to relax in a nice comfortable cottage away from the noisy tourist areas of Ko Samui this is the place for you. Ideally located, a short drive from the airport and a short drive to the best beaches, shops and nightlife but in a very quiet setting. The ideal place to relax and unwind. The customer service is excellent. All the staff are trying their best to make you feel at home. We will definitely stay there again on a next visit to Samui.
