Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "The sort of place where an author could hide away and write a best seller!"

Review by: Nick K | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is a simply appointed, French influenced, comfortable and very convivial Boutique Hotel with 9 spacious suites just across the road, pier and gardens from the Mekong. Actually, the establishment is more of a restaurant than an hotel because the lower two floors are given over to everyday dining and the rooftop is host to L'Escale, a discreet eatery offering more sophisticated fare. It's also serves Breakfast to guests. Watching early morning activity on the river, we agreed with fellow guests that both breakfast and view were stunning. The two lower restaurants were constantly busy however the sounds of diners having fun did not reach our rooms on the upper floors. You can't please everybody all the time of course and doubtless some will want plushier surroundings, however for us Nambo met key criteria for the Delta: Cool, Quiet, Tasty, Friendly and Reasonable! Internet trouble: no problems; no fuss - Receptionist showed up with a dedicated router - Service with a friendly smile!"

Pindaya Farm House: "A charming farmhouse"

Review by: Sithu T | Source: Trip Advisor
Unlike many popular and expensive hotels in Myanmar with extravagant yet very poor in taste decorations, Pindaya farmhouse stands out with cozy and warm ambience. No TV, no hot shower but that’s ok... it’s more natural that way... It fits exactly for people who look for different tastes when they travel. Farm hosts are not only extremely hospitable, but very good in making meals. We are treated with beautiful breakfast of variety of farm grown fruits & Shan noodle. It’s almost like visiting a friend’s house for a night. It was during high festive season in Myanmar of Lighting Thadingyut festival when I was there. Many people make lanterns out of local Shan paper. Night sky was filled with floating paper lanterns. I can’t express how much I enjoyed staying there for a night. I wished I had more time to stay there a bit longer to do some cycling among those beautiful valleys, canola fields and wine yards. Needless to say how pleasant highland weather was. It was a memorable stay, it was an instant love and joy.

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Priceless!"

We were at the Golden Buddha Beach in January and we loved every minute of our stay! A big thank you to Valerie and to all the friendly staff who made our stay unforgettable. Now back to winter I wish I was still there. Amos

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Absolutely beautiful place, such an unusual but wonderful stay"

Review by: Avril G | Source: Trip Advisor
"The setting is spectacular. It feels so remote. Although the accommodation is canvas, it is so well equipped inside it was better than some hotel rooms we'd had. Proper flushing loo and double hand basins with a lovely shower. There was no kettle in the room but the staff would bring some hot drinks over if requested. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful, it was a homely, welcoming feel. The food was excellent, and the day trips are really worthwhile. There is no wi if but its sometimes nice just to read and relax, the hotel provide DVDs as there is no cable for TV programmes, very much a get away from it all place. Over a 3 week Cambodia / Laos holiday in such a selection of hotels, this one really stands out. It is very close to the jungle so there needs to be some common sense re mosquitos etc but it really is worth a visit. We had 2 nights there, I think 4 would have been ideal."

David’s Kitchen: "Another beautiful evening"

Review by: bronwyn999 | Source: Trip Advisor
The service is spectacular. Table presentation perfect. They could have served anything and one would have been happy. However the food they served was good - very good. Oh - back in Hong Kong planning next trip

Manda De Laos: "Great restaurant and wonderful setting"

Review by: 553lisell | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were recommended to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Food was fabulous , duck was wonderful as was the Luang Prabang salad. All of this is topped by the wonderful setting - get there early to catch daylight view before sun sets but then candle light makes it magical . Also noted gluten free selection on menu ."

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Beautiful spot, very peaceful and private"

Review by: lauragraceharvey85 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Loved Glamping! We stayed in the Penjor tent, next to the amazing rice fields, it was nice as you only had one tent on the right hand side and would wake up to the view of rice fields. Staff are great and helpful, we had dinner next to the private pool and massages each day. We found 3 nights was a perfect amount of time to stay and take everything in. The shuttle into Ubud is also wonderful and easy."

Maduzi Hotel: "a very pleasent 3-day stay"

Review by: raclee1255 | Source: Trip Advisor
huge & clean room. free mini bar, free drink at lobby. good services from staffs, showing you all the way to your room. and they are very friendly too. just a slight far away from bts. but still walking distance. around 200~300 meter from asok bts. still a very recommended hotel.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "An escape from city’s loudness to a haven of tranquility"

Review by: alvie m | Source: Trip Advisor
It is indeed a wonderful experience staying at 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. Beautiful location, professional and ecologically knowledgeable and concerned management team associated with very accommodating staffs, great foods and marvelous ambience. Kayaking around the resort, simply enjoying and appreciating the river and nature, fireflies, and waterfall experiences are rad!

MesaStila: "Great Place to Escape the Rat Race"

Review by: Lisa S | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had 5 wonderful days at Mesa Stila to unwind. We were pampered by their staff from the moment we arrived on the property and when we were dropped off at the airport. Staff were helpful and gracious. The food was diverse enough to keep us at the resort and didn't feel to need to hunt elsewhere. We enjoyed yoga and coffee tour on site. Our combined sunrise Borobudur and Prambanan tour was effortless as Ruffian was a skilled driver with excellent English and shared interesting local knowledge with us. Definitely the way to tour temples if you have children. The Resort and Spa is not cheap by South East Asia standards but the experience was well worth the price if you are looking to re-energise in a tranquil place filled with traditional Indonesia buildings (relocated and rebuild from other parts of Java), expansive and lush grounds, views of nearby volcanic mountains and thoughtful staff. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"
