The Apsara Rive Droite: "Loved it!"
This hotel is just a 2 min boat trip across the river from its sister hotel Apsara in the old town. You just drop by at their receptions and tell them you whenever you need to cross. Very convenient. Apsara Rive Droite is a little gem with a pool, a nice garden, beautiful rooms and a pleasant little restaurant and bar. The hotel manager (Hann) is the perfect host with his friendly, yet professional style. Even if the hotel is just two minutes by boat fron the old town, it is located in a less touristy area. I quite enjoyed strolling i this neighbourhood too as it gave glimpses into laotian everyday life. This includes the morning alm cermony that takes place on the road just outside the hotel.Mathis Retreat: "Mathis Retreat Ubud Bali"
it was my First time in Bali and I was looking for special experience. Mathis Retreat is in Ubud Bali and is the Perfect place to enjoy Bali with all activities it has to offer and Perfect to RELAX with intimacy. I strongly recommend Mathis Retreat at affordable price.Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Peaceful, very interesting"
"The resort had just reopened after the rainy season and therefore there were not yet many guests. I find the property really beautiful, service was very attentive and the food delicious. Sightseeing in Mrauk Oo is best done with a guide. The pagodas are all within a relatively short distance from the resort (about 2 - 3 miles), the very interesting excursion to the Chin villages takes about 3 hours (car and boat). Personally, and like some other guests, I found Mrauk Oo more interesting than Mandalay. If you don't come with a guide, the resort can arrange the sightseeing for you. Prices are a bit higher than one might expect, but as this is one of the poorest states in the country, the resort has to order many supplies from Yangon to be able to deliver a high standard of service. Some of the staff are more proficient in English than others, but there is not much opportunity in the region to speak English. They are very keen to learn more and engaging them in short conversations, will be very helpful to improve their language skills. My stay was very peaceful, I really enjoyed the excellent service, the delicious food and the very interesting sightseeing,"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Fabulous, a holiday highlight!"
We are in Cambodia for two weeks, exploring temples, villages and markets. 4 Rivers was our third location and was unforgettable. The service from the friendly staff was excellent, the food was delicious and cooked fresh, and the trips were great. Fully recommended going the waterfall trip (be careful if you decide to kayak down the Rapids, it is more difficult than it looks, so confident swimmers only!) and also the mangroves. We spent our evenings playing games and hunting for geckos and insects - with the staff too!! It was great to turn off our phones and socialise properly! I miss it already - definitely worth a trip if you visit Cambodia!Rachamankha: "PEACEFUL OASIS"
"We spent 4 nights at the Rachamanka hotel, a small boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room was large with comfortable beds & quality linens. Bathroom amenities, including a toothbrush/toothpaste & insect repellent, were replaced daily. Breakfast was served in a beautiful courtyard, with a wood burning fire to take the chill off those cool mornings. The grounds are beautifully manicured. Antique Burmese letter chest decorate the walkways. The pool has comfortable chaise lounges with large beach towels. I would definitely stay here again. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"Sandat Glamping Tents: "Assolutamente meraviglioso"
CinziaGlenburn Tea Estate: "A hidden gem not to be missed!"
A stay at the Glenburn tea estate is a truly unforgettable experience and we loved every minute of it. Whichever way you look from the delightful gardens or from either of the beautiful bungalows there is a wonderful vista, even when the mountains are shrouded in mist. Unfortunately for us, the weather was not at its best when we stayed in late March/early April, but we were lucky enough to be there for 5 nights and so we at least had 2 fabulous mornings when we were treated to the breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range from the comfort of our room. Our room (Camelia) was fabulously spacious and beautifully decorated in English country house style with a lovely seating area, and French doors onto a small balcony with magnificent views. The bathroom was enormous with roll top bath and huge walk in shower. We did not see any of the other rooms but all other guests seemed just as impressed with theirs, and we gather the views are wonderful from each and every room. The food was delicious with an imaginative and varied menu and, despite initial reservations, we really rather enjoyed the communal dining in the evening. It was very interesting to meet such a variety of people from all over the world. I think perhaps my husband was a little bored on the last evening being the only man at a dining table full of rather verbose women! There was plenty to keep us amused during our 5 night stay with a visit to the tea factory, walks around the estate looking at the flowers, birds and butterflies, a lovely (though quite tiring) hike to the river camp with a tasty meal when we arrived, and a day trip into Darjeeling. We could have done a lot more but, after the hustle and bustle of Kolkata, and because the gardens were so idyllic, we relished in the opportunity to relax, reading, chatting, playing cards and drinking plenty of Glenburn First Flush tea! All of the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, and hats off to the multi-talented Nilima and Luna for being such lovely and well-informed guides, but also for running the shop and helping with the organisation of the staff welfare programme, amongst a multitude of other skills. A very big thank you to Jemima, Holly and all the staff for a truly memorable and delightful stay........ We hope we will return one day.Supanniga Home: "Nice peaceful homey relaxing place in winter"
My family visit here in winter. we will come back again. Love it. Nice food and service. Unbelievable tradition delicious Eastern Thai food in Konkean(a North-East province). Recommend you to visit here in winter.Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "What a great experience"
"I spend 3 nights at this beautiful Hanok and it was an amazing experience ! Rakkojae is in the hearth of Bukchon, in a very quiet alley. But still, its in the centre of Seoul, Anguk Subway Station is just 5 minutes away, and plenty of restaurants, sights, shops etc. are in easy walking distance (...) Dinner and breakfast are included, and are traditional and very tasty. You can also have a continental breakfast with toast and eggs if you prefer. Korean breakfast was with smoked fish (very tasty), abalone porridge (tasty, but a bit too excotic for me as a breakfast dish) and I was glad that on the third morning (I had continental breakfast on the second morning) there was a tasty soup instead of the porridge. The ladies who run Rakkojae are very friendly. I tried the Mud Sauna on the 3rd night and liked it a lot (so I wish I had tried it on the first night already). Overall, I loved it at Rakkojae, and can only recommend it. Its an amazing and beautiful place, that words can really describe. You have to go there and experience it yourself. And if you can, stay for at least 2 nights."Tugu Bali: "Amazing"
"What a superb property. Only 21 rooms, built on wooden structures and with great ethnic feel. The service is amazing and so is the food. There is direct access to the beach and the beach side garden is great to lounge in with tonnes of space. At night dinner can be served in this garden. Try it. The place is full of antique statues and is a photographers delight. The property is flush with greenery and water bodies. Loved it."
