Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Stunning Views of the Pokhara Mountains"
Our stand-alone bungalow was delightful, decorated in local handicrafts. It had its own patio, where afternoon tea was served. Be sure to do the bird watching tour in the local area if you have time. The service and food were impeccable, the staff will treat you like royalty. The views are to die for!Reverie Siam: "Out of this world experience"
"We are so glad we booked that place. It was a family reunion and we couldn't have wished for more. It is not only the place itself which is just amazing but the staff as well whom are all so genuinely friendly and warm. Everything was perfect from the time we checked in until out and this memories will last for long. Spoil yourself and book the villas, they are just simply perfect. Thanks, keep up the great work and see you soon again !"Manda De Laos: "An Oasis in the Middle of the City"
"This is such a special little spot - it feels like a hidden oasis in the middle of the city! We arrived around 8:30 pm without reservations and were given a table right beside the lily pond. The lights reflecting off the water combined with the cool, lounge vibe, made it feel as if we had walked into a secret hideaway! In addition to the romantic atmosphere, the food was delicious - some of the best we ate in Laos. We are admittedly adventurous eaters, but the menu offers a wide range of dishes to satisfy any palate, including vegetarians. Definitely a bit more upscale compared to other restaurants, but as we were celebrating our last night in LP, it was totally worth it."Maisons Wat Kor: "A Small Piece of Paradise"
"Due to a relative which had stayed here last year, we decided to stay at Maisons Wat Kor during our 3 day visit to Battambang. What an excellent choice. It is located on the outskirts of Battambang in a quite neighborhood. If you need/want to go to down town it is only a 5 min. tuk tuk ride, but that said, there is no comparison to the experience at this gem of a place versus the hotels in the busier part of town. The hotel is a couple of years old and comprises only 12 rooms. The property is replete with beautiful plants and shrubs. The garden is incredible. We enjoyed nightly swims in their clean, comfortable pool. The rooms were well furnished. The bed was very firm, but comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They quickly attended to our every need. They arranged for bike rentals (great idea to see the local neighborhoods) and transportation to Phnom Penh Meals were served in the main house with the dining area being open to the garden area. The food was fresh and good and very nicely presented. This small hotel is intimate and charming, and a perfect place to stay."Maduzi Hotel: "A hidden gem – excellent in its way"
"This is a beautiful place, hidden next to the Exchange Tower. The location is quite convenient with walking distance to nearby shopping mall and the train station. We were greeted by friendly and staff members with an attitude of ever wanting to help, so the check in process was easy. The rooms were big and great. Extremely large bed and comfortable bed. It is truly a hidden gem. I would recommend this place and would certainly book again if I were to go to Bangkok. Stayed April 2017, traveled with friends"Tugu Bali: "Wonderful Experience"
"If you are looking for a luxury hotel which upon entry you feel like you are in a warm home filled with beautiful antiques and lovely friends, stay at Hotel Tugu Bali. The rooms are beautifully decorated with wooden floors, four poster beds, day lounges, and unique lamps/dressers/etc. We stayed in room 208 which overlooks a pond filled with water lilies directly below and the ocean in view (and earshot). The room layout included a partially enclosed room with a day bed, sunken tub and seating area-a perfect area to have breakfast and/or dinner. The food was delicious-both breakfast and dinner included a variety of local options, including tasting plates. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgable. My sister took a floral arranging class with Dek, who is extremely talented and showed her how to make beautiful offerings. Massages are very good-highly recommended. Once at the hotel there is no reason to leave-it is an experience in itself. However, the hotel is located about a 2 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to an area which has many restaurants and shops. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"Mume: "Always amazing"
I've been a couple of times in this high level restaurant, the taste and the visual are extremely precise. I love it, a must do in TaipeiReverie Siam: "Excellent Experience"

Amit.Satri House: "Wonderfully peaceful boutique hotel"
"Had a wonderful time at Satri house in late August for the first few days of our honeymoon. The whole hotel is full of the most fascinating antiques and curios, and is really beautifully designed. We stayed up in the Satri House suite, in the building where the prince of Laos used to sleep! The suite was so beautiful, and had a view over the serene swimming pool. If you are a fan of vintage and mid-century antiques, you will love it! Whilst staying at Satri House (due to it being the raining season) there were no other guests, so we were treated to the experience of staying in our 'own private mansion' with all of the fabulous and incredibly helpful staff there to cater for our every need. Just perfect! No matter the time of day or how late we had been out, we always returned to the hotel to find 4 people at the front desk ready to help us, and two behind the pool side bar, just in case we fancied ordering a drink! The food deserves special mention too. Dinner on the first night was delicious - lots of carefully crafted local specialities with 5* presentation. Although the hotel is set away from the main part of town, it's still within walking distance or a very easy 2 minute tuk tuk ride. We preferred being slightly further out as the peace and quiet was exactly what we wanted at the end of the day. "Rachamankha: "Beautiful peaceful retreat in the old city"
Very elegant and quiet with lovely art work and antiques throughout. Excellent service and extensive breakfast. Very nice pool. Small and personal. Puts you in a great mood. They pick you up and take you to the airport as part of the service.
