Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Idyllic"
"This is our second time that my family and I have stayed at Sea Dance, Koh Samui and I can say with much sincerity that Poy and his wonderful staff have outdone themselves yet again. We stayed 3 years ago whilst still having that familiar feeling, Poy has added a lot of extra features to make our stay even more memorable. First of all, there were lots of familiar faces amongst the staff who made sure our children had enough to eat whilst our hands were always holding a delicious, refreshing cocktail. Thanks Kwan you are the best. The addition of the international menu ensured all our families taste buds were met. The buffet breakfast was awesome with so much choice with the hot food cooked in front of you. Secondly, the welcome addition of fun and friendly Faith ensured all our needs were met finding family entertainment for our children. For us, the location is idyllic being 350 meters from the main road you are ensured that your stay is a peaceful one whilst being surrounded by a secluded beach which makes it perfect for snorkeling and canoeing. The view of the ocean from the main pool is stunning with the water splashing gently against the oceans rocks make it a great back drop for spectacular sunsets. We stayed in a lovely villa with a plunge pool which was perfect for our family. The villa was spotless with housekeeping making sure it was clean every day. Thank you. A particular highlight was the band that played on Sunday afternoon whilst we ate a delicious seafood buffet. The atmosphere was amazing great tunes, and company with great cocktails. The band continued on into the night singing songs from all eras. For us, Sea Dance is a home away from home where you are treated like family and always feel so welcome. We will definitely return. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Rachamankha: "Words Cannot Describe How Beautiful this Hotel Is"
"My girlfriend and I stayed at the Rachamankha in November 2015 for several nights. We absolutely loved our Chiang Mai experience and my girlfriend admits that Chiang Mai is her favorite travel destination so far (and we have been to many). In addition to the scootering around the city, the expeditions into the countryside and the Thai cooking class, the Rachamankha had a huge role in this wonderful first impression. The hotel does an amazing job of balancing natural and classic beauty with modern luxury. I felt calm at this hotel like I haven't at other hotels. The staff, the rooms, the property, the pool - everything seemed perfect. For the experience that you get this hotel is well worth the money. One funny note. There is a library in the middle of the hotel that is beautiful and has glass cases with all sorts of books, including a ton about history and architecture, as well as free brandy. The only problem is that these books are not generally accessible to the guests and I believe they are the personal books of the owner. We tried to ask if we could see a couple books and after being passed off to a couple of people they allowed us to take a look at a limited number of books in only two cases but it felt very much like we weren't supposed to be doing that and were being offensive. It just struck us as natural that if you put a beautiful library in a hotel that guests can access, the guests may want to read the books. This did nothing to tarnish our amazing stay at this beautiful hotel, we just thought it was kinda funny."Reverie Siam: "Truly memorable stay"
Amazing place, very quiet and peaceful. The garden and hotel grounds are gorgeous. Room is huge and clean. Food is really delicious, great option for breakfast and dinner. Staff is super warm welcome and will sincerely do everything to make your stay truly memorable. They know very well how to provide the best service. Especially thanks to Khun Dee from restaurant. We'll definitely be back.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Best cuisine"
I have not enough words to thank the most exciting chef in cambodia. Never been disappointex after all these years. Thank you Johannest ! amazing evening !Rachamankha: "Surrounded by tasteful chinese art"
Its hard to imagine that this secret retreat is in the heart of Chaing Mai - The hotel is absolutely gorgeous - exquisite - so charming - the furniture is to die for - so tasteful - my husband and I adored our stay there - and because it was so central - we were able to visit the market by foot just 5 mins away. What a gem this place is - and I loved the symmetry - wow just awesome. Food was fab - and every afternoon my hubby and I would just sit and drink tea and soak it all in. Loved the placeBlackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Great evening! great dinner"
"David takes pride in his small restaurant, making everything from scratch, you can see a lot of what he is working on on shelves next to the walls. Not only did we have an excellent 10 course meal - which was fairly priced considering the care and dedication that he put in, but he made sure to call us a cab (himself!) and make sure we got off in the direction of our hotel...."Babe: "Food with a view"
This place is food divinity! The waiter offered me for trying the lamb chop. Uhmmm no words required, the lamb was very tasty!!! So juicy and tender. This place serves Japanese tapas with a mix of western Japanese. The food prepared here was something I had not seen elsewhere and was delicious. The staffs are very nice and the seafood are very fresh as some of their ingredients are flown in from Japan. I love the atmosphere where you dine next to the swimming pool. The dim lights, the seats and the magnificent view gives thus place two thumbs up.The Island Lodge: "Get off the busy life"
Niche and charming hotel. Warm welcome and cheerful staffs. Great feeling with bird sound around you in the morning. This is also the place you can get around nicely with the bicycle and feel the fresh air with a lot of green in the afternoon!Maison Polanka: "Small Paradise"
"Maison Polanka is the most pleasant hotel we have ever stayed at. It is a well-hidden green and peaceful haven in Siem Reap, away from the buzzing markets, nightlife and crowds of backpackers. Maison Polanka is a perfect place to relax before or after visiting the temples. It is a small hotel with only four rooms and the wonderful Khmer house, where we stayed. The most important asset of Maison Polanka is the staff. The manager, Julia, and the entire staff are friendly, attentive and discreet. They make you feel at home, as a valued guest, and not just a customer. The service level can compete with any five star hotel. Maison Polanka is expensive compared with other hotels in Cambodia, but was worth every cent. If we ever get the chance to visit Siem Reap again, we will definitely stay at Maison Polanka again."Le Calao: "One of the better restaurants in town"
Visited twice, good food, excellent service, smiling and smart staff. Have tables on several floors and terraces, indoor and outdoor. Situated in an old newly renovated house, well done. Highly recommend.
