Satri House: "Best Hotel Ever!"
"Perfect hotel for who want very private & relaxing place. You will feel that you're perfectly cared by entire hotel associates and that will surely make you big fan of Satri. I would give 10 Stars Satri if I could! ^_^ Perfect room condition. Tasteful foods. Relaxing garden. Satri is not large but it has everything perfect."Glenburn Tea Estate: "Wonderful!"
While the last few kilometers of the road to get to Glenburn are the worst road EVER, once you reach this tea plantation, you are pampered and cosseted with the best of service, in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Rooms are large and extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Your hosts are friendly and engaging. Local shop has great stuff. Food is really good. A shame that lunches (while excellent) are continental fare -- the Indian and Tibetan foods served at dinner and breakfast are far superior. Remarkable service, and a place one wants to return to again, and again, and again!Tugu Bali: "Fantastic!"
"Left a review on the other entry for this hotel...but again, can't speak highly enough!!!! Most comfortable room and bed we have been in on our month long trip to Bali. The staff was lovely and accommodating and we were delighted by the facilities. Must visit if you are in Canggu!!!"The Village House: "Best homestay in Kuching, Sarawak"
"Approximately 40 mins from Kuching International airport to The Village House (taxi ride is about MYR60/ car). This place is a total gem, very well hidden (no kidding as there's nothing much to explore around this homestay except for a quiet beach). If you're going for a short weekend to relax & chill with friends or couple, then this would probably be the best choice but if you're thinking to have a party there, maybe not unless you've pre-booked all their rooms! Food and drinks (Tiger/ Heineken beer per bottle is about MYR15 each) are available from morning till 10:30pm at night only (so pre-ordered your food/ drinks before they closed). Staff will clocked off after 10:30pm (Bar/ Cafe will be closed) but 1 of the staff who's staying next to this place is easily located incase of any emergency. I must say their sandwiches & Nasi Goreng Kampung is amazing but Potato wedges (do not try this if you're a big fan of wedges!) & Sarawak Curry Laksa definitely needs some improvement. Prices are affordable. (You can have your food billed to your room & make payment only when you check-out. Visa/ Master card accepted but with 3% surcharge incurred. AMEX not acceptable unfortunately). Rooms & bathroom (attached) are very clean and the air-condition can get pretty strong if you've it switched on the whole day (warning!). The only problem is they've very thin walls if you do not want to be heard by next door or anyone downstairs! They've extremely helpful and attentive staff here named Ms.Aliffah and Flora as they've helped us get our missing mobile phones (left it near the pool area at night), call and arrange our transportation. If you're not a local like me, you can even get some travel tips from them! The nearest sightseeing place is Sarawak Culture Village which is about 10 mins drive away (Daytime transportation is about MYR5/ way by car). If you want to explore downtown city centre, it'll be about 30 mins car ride (that'll cost you MYR60/ car per way). Do ensure you make prior transportation arrangement with the staff as there's seriously no transportation available there. I'm already missing this place and just can't wait to be back!"Glenburn Tea Estate: "Paradise"
We had been told that Glenburn was a special place by others that had stayed, but that goes a little way to describe the experience that myself and my partner had... it's a truly magical destination. Our room Rangeet was stunning, as is the rest of the estate, so beautifully maintained by the meticulous staff and gardeners. We loved the communal dinners, especially the tea themed night which was extremely tasty. The staff throughout our stay were always very helpful and friendly, there is always someone around too. We decided to take the hike down to the river and have lunch there, which was beautiful, as again the food exceptional! I would also really recommend having a massage, one of the best I have ever had... We were lucky enough to see an extraordinary sunset one evening, I don't think there can be another view like it anywhere in Darjeeling. The whole place, and our stay felt so serene and relaxed that a special shout out must go to Jemima and Holly who manage the place and are obviously making sure things run so smoothly - thanks you two! My only complaint would be the road, lucky for Glenburn they have some of the best drivers in the world! Can't wait to go back.Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing stay"
"The location is great, the staff is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and the food delicious. We booked a boat trip with a very good driver that although he didn't speak much English, he tailored our trip to avoid those ""shopping houses"" were you feel obliged to buy something. In concluison, Worth the money is you spend!!"Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Easter holida"
Our stay at the Golden Buddha Resort was magnificent, truly magical. We knew getting there was going to be a bit of a trek, but it was really worth it. The location by the sea is great, the beach was vast and empty, each tree-house beautifully furnished and our son liked it too (the pool table, the pizzas at the beach-bar and wifi at the clubhouse especially) It's a place to enjoy nature, where you can reflect, breathe and simply live. With a few added bits of luxury the resort had the perfect balance for us. We stayed at Baan Marina which was beautiful, spent most of our days at the resort (close to the beach bar) and the club house in the evening, playing pool, cards or reading after food. The staff were ever so friendly, Massi and Pena were the perfect hosts. If we would recommend anything, it would be good to offer a few alternative dishes in the evening for kids although saying that we thought the chef was really excellent. Breakfast was a treat too! Thanks to everyone at Golden Buddha for the lovely memories, we loved it!Maduzi Hotel: "Good, Privacy, Clean Hotel, Friendly & Helpful Staffs"
"I was there fron 6 to 10 May 2016. We got 2 rooms for myself and my family. We were there for 4 nights. Both rooms have different layout. We were given upgraded rooms. My girls loves the rooms, bed and of cause the bath tub... especially after a long hot day.. From BTS Asok, you can walk along the shelter linkway or from MRT Sukhumvit exit 2, walk into Interchange 21 to 2 or 3 level up, walk along the same linkway into Exchange Tower and escalator down to the lobby. From Exchange Tower to hotel is just 1 to 2 minutes under the sun. Pros... - Gate closed 24 hours except for taxi to come in to pick the guests. - Rooms are big. - Beds are big and comfortable. - The staffs are friendly and helpful. - 1 welcome drink at bar each.. - Free flow of coffee and tea at the bar. - Coffee machine in each room, mini bar snacks and drinking water are free too. - If you need hot water, a small water kettle can be asked and send to the room. - Late check-out is FOC. Cons.. - The lifts are warm as mentioned by others. - Breakfast sets are fixed throughout our stay but very nice.. But when we had 4 sets each day and having the same for 4 days, by the 3rd morning, we were tired on the menu. If you are staying there for 1 or 2 nights, I recommend to take their breakfast but when you are staying longer, you may want to just take 2 days and the rest of the days, eat out. - Some TV programmes / channels in one of the rooms are not clear. As this hotel has privacy, is small and cozy.. I will recommend couples and families to stay.. I will stay there again when I am back in Bangkok."Villa Song Saigon: "The best boutique 5star Hotel of Saigon"
We have enjoyed every minute of our stay at Villa Song. The extremely warm-hearted and friendly staff made us feel at home in no time. The great location of the Villa directly at the Saigon river in the very hipp and up-coming District 2 of beautiful Saigon adds to the overall quality of the stay. We will surely come back!Rahai’i Pangun: "A once in a lifetime experience"
My husband and I took the 3D/2N trip In Tanjung Puting National Park. We found the whole experience to be absolutely incredible. The boat was well equipped and very comfortable, with a spacious deck area fitted with comfortable rattan sofas and chairs. Air conditioned cabins with en-suite facilities made the whole trip very civilised. We ate all meals on board for three days and I was very impressed with the variety of dishes on offer, the quality and the freshness of the ingredients. Freshly squeezed fruit juices were a delight. The food was a good balance of Indonesian and Western dishes (pancakes for breakfast!). Our guide Faisal was very knowledgeable and the entire crew went to great effort to spot wildlife on the banks as we cruised along and stopped the boat so we could get a proper chance to observe at close range. The orangutan feeding stations were busy, but not overly crowded, and the experience of seeing the orangutans swinging in through the trees for their food will stay with me for a very long time. Although this tour is at the higher end of the price range for Tanjung Puting trips I would thoroughly recommend it as great value for money and a wonderfully memorable experience. The personal touch that Gaye puts to make sure clients are happy with their tour shows just what a professionally run company this is.
