The Hue House: "Amazing and Excellent Value"

Review by: AndrewTaylorson | Source: Trip Advisor
"We look for a restaurant Close to our hotel and this was one of 6. It had excellent reviews and we wholly endorse that view. We were warmly greeted and looked after by friendly smiling staff. Who were keen to serve but not over attentive in doing so, just as we preferred. The choice of food was traditional/regional Vietnamese and was superb. Excellent appetisers and main courses This is a little gem and not that busy probably because it is accessed via a main office building reception. Located on the 10th floor it enjoys commanding views over the city. Highly recommended."

Mathis Retreat: "A lush oasis"

Review by: TheWanderingNish | Source: Trip Advisor
"Loved my stay at Mathis Retreat. A little bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Ubud town centre, it was the perfect place to relax after days spent travelling and exploring. From the leisurely breakfasts over looking the verdant rice fields, to the spacious room (Garden Bungalow) and of course the friendly staff, it ticked all the boxes. The room itself was airy and spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom reasonably large. Only complaint was the positioning of the power points, which meant devices could be charged or used, but not both at the same time. It would be helpful to have accessible power points near the bedside tables. The breakfast food options were plentiful, and I appreciated the fresh fruit juices and homemade jams. Recommend the pineapple pancakes, if you choose the Western breakfast option, but even better was the vegetarian nasi goreng. The vegetarian dinner options were a bit limited which was a bit disappointing. The staff were really lovely and it was nice to be welcomed by the owner, made the experience a little more personal than the usual hotel stay. The wifi connection was good and the free shuttle service was easy to use, making short work of the trip to and from the town centre. It may be a bit pricier than some of the hotels closer to the town centre, but it was definitely worth! Would definitely stay here again if ever in Ubud."

tugu bali: "Amazing accommodations"

Review by: cocothumper | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We absolutely LOVED Tugu hotel in Canggu. The location is perfect, the service is AMAZING and the food was delicious. The suites are breathtaking, ours came with a fruit basket of local fruit. The bathroom was half outdoors, filled with flowers and was surrounded by a Koi pond with a beautiful ladle to pour water traditionally. We also had a private pool in our back yard which was a tropical paradise. You have amazing options for seating indoors or out when dining, and the complimentary afternoon tea was diving. "

Reverie Siam: "As good as the reviews suggest"

Review by: LFC2728 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed two nights as part of our trip through Thailand. The food and beverage manager is doing a great job at this hotel. Breakfast a la cart is so much more enjoyable especially when it is prepared to such a high standard..the cocktails were outstanding, comparable with top 5 star hotels in HK. Not much around the hotel but the free shuttle was very reliable. Special thanks to the ladies who served us breakfast and evening drinks/dinner, they were genuinely so friendly and made our stay memorable. Thank you and we hope to return if we pass your way again! Pity the weather was too cold for us to use the two beautiful pools!"

Tugu Bali: "Special Place"

"We recently enjoyed an exceptional stay at the Tugu Bali with our family. Every element of our stay was outstanding starting with the most friendly staff. Always with a smile, going beyond to ensure our total satisfaction and understanding of this unique cultural hotel. We highly recommend the Tugu Bali, a very special place to stay ! "

Tugu Lombok: "Perfect honeymoon"

Review by: Clare J | Source: Trip Advisor
Hotel Tugu is the most perfect location for a relaxed honeymoon. The location is incredible. Beautiful white sandy beaches and warm crystal blue sea. The facilities are great and there's an incredible sense of space. The food is extremely good. We came away knowing we had eaten amazing tasty and healthy food. Above all though the staff at Tugu make it really special. Everyone is happy and friendly and they really cant do enough to make you feel welcome.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Serious safari"

Review by: BigOilAdelaide | Source: Trip Advisor
"These guys are super professional and want you to see animals in the wild - and lots of them, hence lots of hours are spent 'on safari'. Guides are educated and friendly - they know all the species of birds, animals and we always felt confident and safe. And yes we saw leopards - but we also saw loads of other wildlife including elephants and tusker elephants, monkeys, peacocks, water buffalo, leaping gazelle thingo's, the list goes on. The food was exceptional - a lot of attention paid to traditional Sri Lankan cuisine with different food for every meal. Accommodation is not quite glamping but is around the mark with all the necessary quality amenities and your own toilet and shower. This isn't a party place - safari comes first second and third; lights go out early in prep for 5am dawn safari, but the drinks flow ok over lunch and dinner if you so desire. There is also an afternoon/dusk safari if you would prefer to snooze in the mornings. "

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "excellent food"

Review by: kyawt | Source: Trip Advisor
The first time to visit this fine dining of French cuisine and had excellent food and wine and cheese. It is a bit noisy as there is a party at one end . They said since it is raining they had no other place to accommodate them. We must say this is the best french food in the city so far. When the rain is over it will be a nice experience to sit outside on the bank of Inya Lake. Only if they have better music and curtains and drapes to absorb the noise, we will be delighted to enjoy a fine dining.

Villa Song Saigon: "Cheerful Place"

Review by: hellowilliam b | Source: Trip Advisor
We really spent a beautiful time in this hotel. The staff are always there for us, any time, any moment. They are very helpful and friendly, professional and very nice, they were always smiling and happy. Breakfast and meals at the restaurant were just perfect presented and so tasty too. Room is clean and spacious, furnished with antiques and are very comfortable. Wifi is free, air-conditioning is quiet and the bathrooms are all you could wish for. There is a beautiful garden courtyard with as well as an view to the river. Every corner in the hotel has something spiritual and nice. This is a best hotel we ever stayed with charm and has nothing to do with those big and tourists hotels. We were really happy and i hope to be back soon.
