Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Relaxing beach resort"
Luxury resort on the Arabian coast in north kerala provides pleasant accommodation with multiple activities like swimming, yoga, fishermen village visit and cooking classes.”Meenakshi” restaurant is great for exclusive sea food.try coconut rice which is yummy.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Very lovely hideout"
Beautiful place - if you go there, you never want to leave.... amazing food, great yoga lessons, very friendly staff, excellent food, nice spa. Like Thailand was 30 years ago but better. If you want internet in your room, buy a prepaid card at the airport, wifi only in at the restaurant. Be aware of the monkeys!Locavore: "Our second time, our second amazement"
"We went to Locavore for lunch, and again, were amazed by the whole experience. As soon as we walked in, we spotted all these amazing chefs working around the tiny kitchen, like ballet dancers except for it was their hands who were at the core of the coregraphy. Except for the ""bienvenue"", there was not a single dish that was in the menu when we visited the first time. And we therefore embarked on a 100% new cullinary adventure. We went for the 7-dishes menu, and all of you reading this and planning to try, please do the same. Yes that's a lot, but you may eat less in the evening if you are there for lunch, or just go for a walk afterwards if you dine there. Portions are perfectly sized, and there was not a single bite when we thought ""hum, pretty good"". It was a ""that's unbelievably good""!!!! We went for a very reasonably priced Tempranillo and it did perfectly match everything. We are lucky enough to often have the opportunity to eat at very good restaurants. Locavore offers one of the very very best value-for-money experience. If not the best. In our opinion that is. Make sure you book several weeks ahead if for dinner. Slightly less for lunch. Just find a way to go!"Rachamankha: "Oasis"
"We were fortunate to stay here, albeit during the coldest weather in years! This is a true 5* property with wonderfully gracious staff. The location is perfect for walking to most areas you would want to see while in Chiang Mai. Breakfast is more than most would expect and in the evening the food is very good. "Locavore: "Amazing Amazing Amazing"
"It's easy to see why this restaurant has been on the Top 50 Asian Restaurants list for 2 years in a row. What a culinary experience. What a journey of taste sensations. As restaurant owners ourselves, people just don't realise the amount of effort that goes into bringing the theatre of dining to life. Locavore exceeds on every front. Incredible food, impeccable service from knowledgable wait staff who can recite every ingredient of every dish, delicious cocktails and affordable wines. As others have said, around $320 AUD which makes it on the high side for Bali, but worth every cent. Two things to note. I think our 7 course ended up 16 courses with snacks, pre dessert and post dessert - so make sure you don't eat much beforehand. And one small issue with the squid, not sure it was 100% so didn't eat it. The waitress offered to give me an alternative (again, fantastic service) but I declined as we had more than enough food. But it was a minor blemish in an extraordinary dining experience. Lovacore is a must if you're visiting Ubud. Can't wait to come back. Great job team."Villa Mathis: "Knock out!"
Fantastic service, pools and beautiful rooms. As close to Seminyak as you need to be while still enjoying eace and quiet. Incredible warm staff. The Villa has four pools which makes lounging very easy. This was a highlight of our honeymoon.Arumdalu: "Incredible Private Resort on Beautiful Belitung Island!"
"My husband and I enjoyed five fantastic nights at Arumdalu Private Resort. We were actually the only guests at the time, so our visit was indeed private! William greeted us at the airport, and took excellent care of us at the resort. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Mr. Agus and Ms. Siannie, along with their son, Albert, and daughter, Caroline, and they were extremely kind and welcoming. Our chefs, Tonny and Anton, prepared delicious Indonesian dishes that were served by Dana, Angie, Cha Cha, and other wonderful staff at the beautiful Sahang Beachfront Cafe and Resto. A wonderful young man, Sue Wep, taught us how to make our own batiks, which was a new and enlightening experience. Our driver, Mr. Insani, was very competent. Lovely Meela, at reception, was very welcoming. We enjoyed a day trip with William and Mr. Insani around the island, enjoying excellent coffee, delicious lunch, and spectacular scenery. Upon leaving the resort, we were presented with a fabulous gift of a beautiful batik and a collection of post cards of the resort. It was an excellent vacation on a remote Indonesian island, accessible by a one-hour flight from Jakarta. "Inle Princess Resort: "Paradise on Earth"
This resort is paradise and we had a wonderful stay here. Attracted since we saw the photos on the Internet BT when we came here, we were shocked with it's beauty. A peaceful place with river view. Very traditional and beautiful. The room is huge with Oriental decor. I love sitting outside of the balcony and watching the life on the river. Best moment of my life.Amata Lanna: "Gorgeous boutique hotel"
"We were moved here as they needed to check the electric shower in our other hotel. It is a gorgeous boutique hotel very beautifully decorated in old Lanna style Thai decor with ornate wooden features . The staff are very welcoming and you are warmly greeted and offered a welcome drink in the small reception area. The rooms are all set around a pool and there are lots of little seating areas and a cute little path over a pond to the toilet. The room itself was decorated with plush Thai fabrics, wooden artefacts and had a beautiful, huge bathtub, where you could enjoy a candlelit bath. I loved bed that the bath and shower products were in pot bottles with stoppers instead of plastic and there was a cute little elephant soap dish with an elephant soap inside. The location is close to the hustle and bustle and near the nightmarkets but the hotel offers a tranquil respite from all the noise. It was lovely to sit outside at night as the lights from the pool and the garden made it very peaceful. We had to leave for an early flight to the airport and the staff arranged a taxi and for mango sticky rice and coffee delivered to our room before we left. I would definitely stay here again."Tugu Malang: "A unique museum hotel"
I was staying here after a long motor ride from Surabaya and spoiled myself with all the beautiful interior furniture that has been chosen carefully. Some vintage and antique wall wood working and painting make this hotel looks like a museum with all the art being put there. Every room and chamber has its own design. Mixture between Javanese, Balinese wood furniture and old colonial building. A unique bathroom with vintage stainless bath tub and sink, also nice packaging of the amenities put another credit for this hotel. Some of the room is made for a real museum with all the ancient chinese ceramic pottery, bronze sculptures, silver dining set, small statue aged hundreds years which decribe the owner must be a filthy rich collectors. But I don't really like the part of the hotel which made as mediteranian middle east concept that seems bland and unmatch comparing to the other parts of the hotel. In the afternoon they serve various local tea and coffee, herbal drink and traditional snack for free for the guest staying in the hotel. Overall, I am quite satisfied staying there even only one night. Worth the value of money.
