Heritage Suites: "A peaceful relax"
"After spending one day visited temples of Angkor then back to hotel while offering a very special rate for me, I had an unforgettable stay with superlative decor and art designs inspired by Angkor style. I met the staff who are very warmth greeted and welcoming with a refresh drinks, i was enjoying with breakfast they served blending with master chef. Pool was huge and very refreshing moment with nice garden, the pool bar was also attracting. I would return back for the next visit to Angkor Wat."Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Champagne and snow"
"This place is an absolute must. Chef Ton is a magician, he gave me 3 types of watermelon as an amuse bouche. I tasted sea bass with lime snow( Devine) There were oyster sabayons, pickled gourd, river prawns and everything was cooked with a light modern touch and confidence. The service was smooth, and slick.Every dish and wine was fully explained. The decor is minimal, the location is down a small alley next door to namsooth bottling plant. The booking was done via Mr Tao who squeezed us in. Many thanks to the entire team . I will return"Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Beautiful Mrauk Oo Princess Resort"
"The Princess Resort is a lovely place to simply unwind after sight seeing around Mrauk Oo. There is a pool, spa, walking areas and wonderful resturaunt. The property is quiet with lovely tropical flowers and the staff very attentive. It is accessible by boat, which when the tide is against you is a long ride. But, the scenery on the way is wonderful. It is about 45 miles from the main town of Sitwe, so somewhat remote. Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent"Locavore: "Best dining experience ever had"
Perfection! Each course was an explosion of color and flavor. True art. Though small portions, this allowed you to try each dish without getting full and get to enjoy to the end. In the end, you were satiated with a 2 1/2hr performance. The kitchen had more chefs than customers. Each with own role and working calmly and harmoniously as a team. This was very impressive how they created art! Would definitely go again.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Non plus ultra dinining."
Award winning chef, more than excellent food, highest standard in cooking - dining in a wonderful setting at a peaceful, quiet lake in the middle of the city, high standard in service, very proffessional, friendly and attentive staff. Could not think of a better evening.Maison Polanka: "Great Place To Stay"
Small and quiet . . . If you like being out of the hustle and bustle of the city and yet easy access to everything . . . this is your place. Clean, comfortable with a terrific service orientation . . . The grounds are immaculate . . . green and well maintained. The food is very good and the staff attends to every wish . . . one of the best places we stayed in while visiting S E Asia for a month.MesaStila: "Always Want to Come Back"
"This is the second time we visit this property within February 2016. First time was on Feb 7th, and the second time was on Feb 28th. We were travelling to Jogja but I missed this place so much, we decided to drive to Magelang to have an afternoon coffee here. I can't even decide where to begin to share with you how marvelous this place is. The property itself is a magnificent mixture between old time Javanese architecture of Joglo Houses, which are very beautiful, and some wooden buildings from Dutch Colonial era. The Coffee and several other traditional drinks here are just the perfect company to enjoy the weather and magnificent view of mt. Merapi. You can also pamper your eyes with the lush greeneries view everywhere you look. Last but not least, the staff here are just lovely. First class hospitality. "Cuca: "Fabulous restaurant"
"Great restaurant in Jimbaran Bay. Very friendly (we were walking there and got offered a lift by the owner/chef who was driving by) with appropriately attentive staff. Interesting cocktail menu - I had a Sungria which came with frozen juices for ice cubes and was lovely. Food is tapas style although dishes are served consecutively rather than all at the same time, and are interesting and beautifully presented. The suggestion is 3 per person which we had, and this was sufficient for a main meal. The pulled pork and the butterfish with beetroot yoghurt are de...lish...ous! Dessert of THE best mint ice cream with chocolate. The chef ensured he spoke to all tables making the experience even more memorable. Meal for 2 with a cocktail each, glass of wine each, 6 tapas and 2 coffees came to about £80 so not the cheapest meal in Bali, but probably one day of the best."Muang La Lodge: "Luxury lodge"
"Beautiful lodge with large rooms, some overlooking the river. Very luxurious - soft bed, choice of soft or hard pillows, complimentary fresh fruit in the room, his and hers sinks in the en-suite, and bathrobes and slippers. All meals are included. Dinner is a set menu using fresh, local ingredients - small portions but beautifully presented, and there are 5 courses! Drinks are relatively expensive, but there is a good choice of wine. Tea and coffee after dinner are extra and should probably be included in the price. Nice breakfast - croissants, pain-au-chocolate, fresh fruit, choice of eggs etc. The lodge will arrange a variety of excursions with a local guide, and we did a day's trek very much off the beaten track - packed lunch was provided and delicious. There is a fab infinity swimming pool on an island in the middle of the river accessed by a bamboo bridge. Also a natural hot springs with an outdoor tub filled daily. A nice touch is that the lodge has also provided a separate hot spring bath for locals to come and use, free of charge. After dark, externally, the lodge is lit by oil lamps, giving a very romantic feel. All staff, who with the exception of the General Manager, are all locals, are extremely helpful and courteous, and we were made to feel very welcome. An excellent experience. "Rachamankha: "Absolutely perfect"
"This is a beautiful, wonderful oasis. Every single detail has been thought through in this serene, beautiful place. It whispers luxury, but - as a welcome change - doesn't shout it. I want to package it all up, and take it home! We lived in China for many, many years, and being here felt like coming 'home', only better. The Rachamankha has the ambience of a very old Chinese courtyard home/hotel, but with the convenience of a new one. I thought it WAS old, but learned that it was built in only 2004! The ornamentation (spectacular screen doors, statuary in every courtyard) is all old, though. And stunningly beautiful. You will also see a smattering of gorgeous Thai antiques adorning the walls and public areas. Don't miss the library. Or the pool. Or the outdoor, covered 'lobby' lounge area. The only disappointing thing about this lovely spot is that you have to leave it to explore the many attractions of Chiang Mai. But they're all close, and you've got this oasis to return to at the end of your day. Oh, and (I almost forgot to mention, because it really goes without saying) the service is wonderful -- unobtrusive, attentive, and friendly. Sigh. We're checking out this morning..... Enjoy!"Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
