Talabgaon Castle: "To Check for my upcoming clients"
"Recently I visited this beautiful tranquil place to check for my clients as a new off-beat place to keep in itinerary or not. It is good quite place for long stays, have beautiful pool, good service, very good food, rooms are clean and nice. A beautiful village, to have walk on village street and evening tea in the town with villagers gossip centre could be the highlight of your trip to this village. Love to go again someday...!!! We loved staying at the hotel, it felt like a home away from home. We were three generations staying there, and we enjoyed it immensely. The staff is professional, accommodating and very welcoming. We will absolutely return. The Samar: "Perfect gateway to the temples, with the personal touch"
"I came to Siem Reap for a mix between work and leisure and Samar Villa was the perfect fit. First, as I saw in many reviews, Bertrand and his team are always very attentive to our every need. They helped us organize various functions: from meals in unique restaurants, to temples visits and surprising platform rental with full service on Tonle Sap. We and our clients left absolutely delighted by our stay. Apart from this wonderful service, the villa itself is remarkable. The owners have impeccable taste and a beautiful collection of antiques throughout the public areas and rooms. My suite was spacious and homey and spotless, like I've rarely seen. Breakfast and the food in general were very good and generous. All in all, I highly recommend it and look forward to a 2nd visit."Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Superb must stay"
"This resort has all of its priorities straight. It has an Eco/ community based focus and customers are at the heart of everything that is done. We loved every minute of being here as the staff are so considerate and keen to please. The food at the restaurant is fabulous and the rooms are very nicely decorated and restful. The Burmese cat project is fantastic and the shop supports local development projects which sell their high quality products here. We believe this is a really special place to stay and we will remember it for a long time to come. Highly recommended! "We were completely blown away by Anopura. If I could give it ten stars it would be too few. There has been great care and skill in the design and furnishing. It's tasteful and comfortable, and Ishwar and the team are superb. They have looking after people well down to a fine art - caring but not fawning. Latika, the loveliest dog in the world broke the ice. Inside a couple of hours we were involved in an international boules tournament involving the other 2 guests, and Ishwar and Dennis. The food was amazing whether it was Indian or European - we had a beautiful cheese shuffle and an amazing salad for lunch within 20 minutes of Ishwar making the suggestion. Go for a walk round the village in the evening and take up the offer of a visit to a ruined local hunting lodge. I won't spoil the surprises. We were there 3 nights and the whole took on a dreamlike quality. The air was clean, the temperature perfect, and the unheated pool invigorating. If it was easier to get there I'd never go anywhere else. As we were leaving Latika just lay there with a sad face instead of rushing up with tail wagging. She seemed very sad to see us leaving. But she wasn't half as sad as we were."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A serene resort by the beach"
Neeleshwar Hermitage is one of my favorites in Kerala, India. It has great villas that have spacious rooms, clean and scented, with relaxing music. The bathroom and toilet has an open courtyard inside. There's a pool and the beach to choose from if you want to go swimming. Food is also great and the overall ambiance is so serene.Rachamankha: "A perfect oasis in the city"
It is everything that all the positive reviews have been about. The perfect getaway for someone who needs a beautiful ambience, and oh so different from the cookie cutter chains with their flashy marble foyers and crystal chandeliers. Truly a boutique hotel. Small enough for personal service but large enough to provide all the comforts needed. A beautifully maintained garden, extremely tasteful. A credit to the owners who I gather live within the compound. Incidentally it is well located, within the old walled city. Highly recommended.Rachamankha: "Attentive service, beautiful scenery, great restaurant"
"We were thrilled with our stay at Rachamankha. My wife and I were here for our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful venue for such an occasion. Somewhat hard to find among the back roads inside the old town in Chiang Mai (the tuk tuk's will know where to go), it provides a great escape from the bustle of the town. The grounds are immaculately manicured. There is a great little seating area to lounge and relax. The pool is large and well maintained. Our room was very quiet, had a great large bed. The AC worked well enough in the room. The thing is don't miss the restaurant. We ate at several restaurants around town, but kept coming back to the hotel restaurant for the green curry, stir fried noodles, and several other dishes. Staying at the hotel, breakfast was fantastic every day. Our only issue was that the Internet connection was not super reliable."SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Destined to be Myanmar’s first Michelin star restaurant ?"
"Surely this must be the restaurant to put Yangon and Myanmar’s restaurants on the Michelin map! We dined in the beautiful surroundings and were truly amazed and delighted with a superb meal presented by chef Felix Eppisser and his team. In a country with no professional culinary schools, to create such an amazing menu and meal was simply incredible! We ate from the Elements fixed menu and every course was a true Star rated experience - We have been fortunate to eat in a number of Michelin restaurants throughout the last 12 months in both the UK and Italy including Le Manoir and the 3 Star il Duomo in Alba ( rated in the top 10 restaurants in the world currently)... this meal was up there with the very best! All of the staff were delightful and May our waitress and Felix”s wife Lucia looked after all guests ( and ourselves) with impeccable service. It was inspiring to hear how they are training the future chefs and service staff to capture the true essence of high quality cuisine - all being mentored and trained on site in the restaurant. When Michelin do finally find Myanmar, ( they have not yet ventured here!) I’m sure that this will be a Star contender and worthy champion for this amazing country Thanks to all at Seeds for a memorable end to our holiday in Myanmar Don’t miss the opportunity if you are in Yangon !"Jing’s Residence: "The best hotel we stayed in China"
"Stopped here for 2 nights during our tour of China. The hotel is in the centre of the walled town. If you arrive during the day no traffic is allowed on the street so you have to walk with your suitcases a short distance. It was the best hotel we stayed in during our China tour. From the welcome where we were met with refreshing tea and honeyed dates, to the the room off a courtyard which was sumptuous and pure luxury, to afternoon tea and the staff who were service personified. We were in room 107. A large luxurious room with separate shower room, a large bed on a raised bed to look like a futon everything was just right. Each afternoon tea was served, a choice of tea with a selection of sweet things and fruit. A chance to sit quietly away from bustle outside and relax. There was a ground floor restaurant and upstairs a bar, lounge and library. The best aspect was the service. From the resident man@ger who clearly kept a tight rein on all that happened to each member of staff it was exemplary. Don’t take the word of those of us who’ve reviewed and been here go yourself it is a brilliant hotel."Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
