Satri House: "Perfect Respite"

Review by: Michael F | Source: Trip Advisor
I was visiting Bangkok and wanted a peaceful break. Three days in LPB at Satri House was perfect. The staff -- at reception, restaurant, pool, were all helpful and sweet. Great location for quiet but still so close to the Night Market. Bicycling into town (bike courtesy of Satri) to explore the temples and shopping was fun. Every detail of decor and hospitality are addressed flawlessly. I will go back again, and send friends too. Completely lovely.

Satri House: "วิถีเรียบง่ายแต่แฝงไว้ด้วยความคลาสสิค"

Hotel Tugu Bali: "Perfect place to make your dreams come true"

Review by: PassportDancingQueen | Source: Trip Advisor
"I walked into the Hotel upon seeing a sign for a cultural dance show. I inquired if the any of the dancers would teach private classes. Before I knew it Edward, the Director of Sales was designing a package of classes for me with Widia. She is one of their massage therapists, who has 40 years of Balinese dance experience and a degree in Balinese dancing. He even suggested that I could perform in their cultural performance as a guest with a beautiful Balinese dance costume and makeup. Edward was reading my mind! After creating my custom package I danced for a few weeks. The stage I took lessons on was in the very center of the lobby. I think I was quite a novelty to the staff. Who is this Western that had traveled to Bali to take extensive classes? They greeted me by name when I arrived every day. Edward informed me that was rare. Guests would visit and request the costumes and makeup, but never a package of dance classes. Various members of the staff, ranging from the hotel manager to restaurant staff would take the time to encourage me by telling me I was doing good. Widia was so patient and assured me I was not the worst student ever taught. The night of the performance the entire staff made me feel special. I'd performed many types of dance performances in the past, but it was entirely different. My dance was the first of the show. I was dancing with my teacher, Widia, and her friend, Tina. The dancer after me had won Best Dancer in Bali. Talk about creating a fantasy. Only in my dreams could I have imagined being the opening act for the country's best Balinese Dancer. Edward took lots of photos of me and Ari, one of the managers, acted as my videographer. The fact that so many of the upper-level employees of the hotel got involved in the granular details of my experience speaks volumes about their service. Even though I spent many, many hours in the hotel, I was not staying in one of the rooms. Most hotels would have treated me like chump change. In comparison to most hotel guests, I only paid a tiny fraction for my classes. No one ever treated me as I was any less than the person occupying the most luxurious suite. Afterwards, Ari gave my friend and me a tour of the honeymoon suite, which I had requested. What I thought would be a 5-minute glance turned into a very, very extensive history lesson. I learned more from Ari than any tour guide in Bali. My entire experience with the Hotel Tugu was beyond amazing. Their customer service is unparalleled. A testament to the importance they place on customer service is the fact they have a staff of over 120+ for just 22 rooms. You might not be as interested in taking dance classes, but if you have a unique request this is the best hotel in the world to create a fairytale experience. They would be perfect for creating that surprise proposal or anniversary celebration (their honeymoon suite has a private pool, a private gazebo that sits on a lily pond, and exquisite antiques). Can't say enough about this dream factory. They are the best!!!!"

Pindaya Farm House: "Lovely quiet place with great rooms, delicious food, beautiful views and friendly staff"

Review by: Gareth_Kate | Source: Trip Advisor
A short drive from Pindaya and Shwe Oo Min, this lovely place has high quality well appointed bedrooms, each with a small balcony with great views across the countryside. The dinners and breakfast were delicious, and staff very friendly. (It would be amazing if the fishpond were actually a small swimming pool, but you can't have everything!)

Arumdalu: "a hidden gem filled with surprises"

Review by: Asiadvisor001 | Source: Trip Advisor
We never expect to find such a refine place at the very southern tip of Belitung island. A very creative and delicate cuisine, sustainable practices to save energy or natural fogging, an attentive service, large villa with private pool, 800m of white sand beach and beautiful landscape. Only recommend to people who appreciate quiet beauty!!!

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "must visit when in yangon"

Review by: Anahitabose | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and me went for dinner to this amazing restaurant which is so lovingly handled by the chef and his wife. The food is amazing, service top notch and the place itself is so beautiful. I would recommend this over Le planteaur anyday. The food here is tastier and better value for price. They serve a starter plate and salads, tasting desert plate. Attention to details is amazing. Must not miss this when in Yangon.

Muang La Lodge: "Relax here"

Review by: CHRIS W | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is luxury and the perfect place to relax, with great rooms, good food and a peaceful atmosphere just sitting in the gardens or by the pool. We stayed a few nights in upper floor riverside rooms. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and great balcony overlooking the river and the hot springs bathing area. Its well worth doing the 4x4 drive into the hills, as well as a guided walk around the local area which includes a pole raft across the river. The staff are friendly and helpful."

Mathis Retreat: "Small and personal, out of the way of the hustle and bustle"

Review by: W8798TWdenisk | Source: Trip Advisor
This small boutique hotel is just a short car ride away for the busy Ubud area. The service is impeccable from the minute you arrive. If you are interested in seeing the sites guided the hotel manager is happy to arrange a private guide. The rooms while nothing over the top fancy are quite large and have a wonderful view of the rice paddies that surround it and are very clean and well maintained. The infinity pool while we were there was quite cool but that is to be expected for November. The restaurant on site is an open air area with a roof, with a nice of the area. The menu while not large has excellent food choices which are all quite good. We did not have a bad meal here. Prices were reasonable for the restaurant, rooms and the spa facilities. There has been a change in ownership which was happening about the time we were staying there, my hope is that it has been a seamless change as it truly is a little piece of paradise.

Flower Island: "Amazing place"

Review by: Emily W | Source: tripadvisor.com
My boyfriend and I stayed here with two friends for 4 days and it was undoubtedly the most wonderful part of our trip to the Philippines! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the island itself is like paradise. We did some fantastic activities too - a tour of a pearl farm (which was fascinating), snorkelling trips, paddleboarding.. And we saw turtles just off the house beach. The huts are beautiful too and all look out to sea. Truely wonderful - we'd recommend this to anyone either as part of an active holiday or looking to chill out for a few days.

RACHAMANKHA: "Quaint hotel"

Review by: affiliatelife | Source: tripadvison.com
"Beautiful hotel and room. Loved the design and the property overall. A magical place for sure. Please make the effort to book it if in Chiang Mai. Stayed only one night in a Grand Deluxe room but would have liked to stay for more. "
