4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing experience"

Review by: CherBda | Source: Trip Advisor
"It was my first time to go ""glamping"" with my family and we have certainly set the standard very high by staying at 4Rivers. The rooms/tents were phenomenal - they were very well kept and had everything we could possibly need to have a comfortable rest after a day's adventure. The food was also great - the best we had in Cambodia! The service was fantastic - polite and gracious at every turn - from front desk, to housekeeping, to the chef and to the manager - everyone made sure that we had a lovely stay - and that we surely did. We were also fortunate enough to meet some of the elders from the local community and were able to better appreciate 4Rivers' strong corporate social responsibility. Needless to say, we had a memorable and amazing experience and can't wait to be back."

Cuca: "Exceptional!"

Review by: zsuki | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was easily ranked one of, if not, the best meals we've had in Bali. The property sits on a beautiful idyllic garden surrounded by coconut trees. It has an open concept kitchen and I diners sat by the kitchen counter. Service was excellent, in fact, more than excellent. So much attention to details without being intrusive. Food was an explosion of Flavours. I'm not going to list what we ate but everything we had was amazing. It's the first time I went to a restaurant and not take pics of the food as pics will not justify the experience. Like it says in the menu, come with an open mind and an empty stomach! Totally worth it!"

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Chill-out excellence"

Review by: Tinker561 | Source: Trip Advisor
This was the last venue of a bespoke tour organised by Trailfinders and it was an excellent way to finish a memorable 10 days in Kerala. We stayed 2 days, but 5 would be infinitely preferable! There are two retaurants, one upmarket indoor with a wide menu, but we favoured the beach restaurant, for breakfast and evening meals, specialising in fish and, for our last meal, lobster - fantastic! The service could not be bettered and, even for our short stay, staff recognised and greeted us regularly. We flew from Calicut airport, via Abu Dhaby to UK but its a long drive there. There is a smaller much nearer airport at Mangalore which might be worth looking at. This is a super venue for chilling out with its infinity pool.

The Village House: "Amazing retreat!"

Review by: louisaclack | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed here with my boyfriend for two weeks, using it as a base for our day trips around the area. The hotel is gorgeous, very quiet and secluded. The staff were wonderful very thoughtful and very happy to help. Food was also fab, I would recommend doing the Taste of Borneo! xx

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Magical Place, Living History"

Review by: EddieBrannan | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was the second time at CFTM. The last was 15 years ago, and it was a much smaller operation (I don't believe the backyard and pool were in operation back then and it had fewer staff), but it has lost none of its charm. The house itself is absolutely magical, a perfectly restored and preserved piece of Penang history, and it's an amazing privilege to be able to stay there. The staff are wonderful, and little touches like personal notes and gifts of sweets make the stay even more charming. I will make a point of staying here every time I come to Penang, and I will be back a lot sooner next time. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"

Villa Song Saigon: "Charming Hotel"

Review by: Tar L | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent 3 x nights in Villa Song last week and were fortunate enough to be upgraded for the last two. The new bedroom was absolutely stunning at the top of the building with an enormous bed and a beautiful view over the river. The staff were delightful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Villa Song is situated in a stunning setting right on the river in popular District 2 - and very quiet. It is the most perfect hotel to relax in after touring round Vietnam. There is a fantastic complimentary speed boat service that goes to and from the city hourly. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - it is the most ideal place to stay in Saigon Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Calming and traquil setting"

Review by: steve f | Source: Trip Advisor
Beautiful gardens wrapped around central pond/lake overflowing with blossoming lotus flowers ... truly beautiful. Salt water pool, good kitchen and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms but shower recess could be better. Photos evidence a visit by Brad and Angelina Jolie staying here ... this speaks for itself. Quiet retreat at the end of sometimes frantic days.

Rachamankha: "Zen oasis in the old town: fine Asian antiques, great service, sublime food"

Review by: BarterIslandBonsai | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed for six nights. What a treat. This hotel is a "Secret Retreat" property, one of three that we stayed at in Thailand and Laos. They are owner occupied properties, with amazing attention to decor and service. The architect and designer of this property live here and use the hotel as their home and office, and as a display space for their fine collection of Asian antiquities, a mix of Japanese, Chinese and Southeast Asian. Just walking in the gate caused a feeling of calm. I asked for a yoga mat, no problem, and found that the second floor balcony of the spa, situated over the swimming pool, was a perfect place for doing my yoga routine, with several Buddhas looking on. The setting, the pool, the room, the service, the food were all wonderful. Paul, the manager, sat with us to plan out our day to day itinerary, and all of his suggestions were spot on, for temples and outings, and especially his recommendation for a tailor, from whom we got five shirts and a sport coat. The location is ideal with Wat Prah Singh just around the corner (we called it "our" temple), making it easy to drop in for monk chats, or to hear the chanting at 5 PM. The hotel is within the walls of old Chiang Mai and very close to the Sunday walking market. There is a discount for persons staying 3 nights or longer, not something we realized, but were happily surprised when they gave it to us without our asking. Having modified our original reservation at the last minute, we were scheduled to move rooms over our 6 night stay, but the management spent some time juggling the room schedule, so that we could stay in the same room, which we very much appreciated. We were in Room 19, in one of the main courtyards, and these courtyard rooms are quite lovely. One assumes these were equally as nice. The whole hotel is quiet and quiet.

Satri House: "Unique hotel with lovely staff"

Review by: CitigirlLondon | Source: Trip Advisor
The Satri House is an unusual French colonial style property with lots of beautiful art pieces. The one downside is no TV if you require it. However there is a lovely sitting room with books. The breakfasts are beautifully made to order with homemade jams. The staff couldn't be more helpful. There are 2 pools and lovely beautifully tended grounds.

Maison Polanka: "Make the Most of Cambodia"

Review by: Hugtheplanet | Source: Trip Advisor
Fantastic accommodations in the heart of Seam Reap. Quaint, quite boutique hotel that catered to our every need including creating an itinerary to maximize our 3 days exploring the city. In addition to fantastic food, they have a wonderful, helpful staff that coordinated tour guides and set up a special tour of the Diamond Silk weaving farm. A must! The pool was the perfect refresher after hot temple tours!
