Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A luxurious end to our two weeks travelling in south India"

Review by: Professeurdefrancais | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent just two nights here to wind down after a very hectic two weeks. The staff are really lovely and the food great. One restaurant specialises in sea food but as we're vegetarians we ate only in the other one. I swam twice a day very early morning and at 6 30 pm when the pool and loungers were empty. We didn't want to use the pool or sunbathing area during the day - too hot and too busy. Breakfast taken in the open air facing the sea was great - we chose Indian food both times. The restaurant food both evenings was good but not spicy enough - even tho' we asked for fairly spicy. All the other guests were Westerners - apparently Indian families tend to stay later in the month after the school exam season is over. We borrowed the fairly rickety old bikes to cycle along the quiet village roads nearby and there's an extensive reading library to borrow books from. There's a resident tailor if you want to get any clothes made.To summarise - it's not real India and the wi-fi wasn't perfect but still worth five stars!

MesaStila: "Colonial Elegance and Very Relaxing"

Review by: PJ195 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The resort is 30-40 buildings assembled on a beautiful plateau. The original plantation house has been restored and elegant yet unique. The staff was polite, friendly, professional and extremely helpful through our entire visit. The breakfast is very good and includes different options of Indonesian and western food. I especially enjoyed the homemade yogurt The spacious villas look like something out of a film set with a huge king size teak four poster bed, antique furniture and lamps, wooden shutters, a day couch overlooking the balcony, and a lovely bathroom including a huge tub and luxurious towels. The villa was well-kept and very clean. The hotel has a daily complimentary coffee plantation walking tour which was excellent. We really enjoyed learning about the 4 different types of coffee plants and the history of MesaStila. The hotel spa is great. We had complimentary neck and shoulder massages. My wife enjoyed the varied spa packages."

Rachamankha: "A wonderful hotel to experience"

Review by: John G | Source: Trip Advisor
We visited Chaing Mai in early November, 2017. Travelling were my wife and I, plus our son and his wife. We booked a two-room suite for 4 nights at Rachamankha and were absolutely delighted with everything about this wonderful hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean and modern. The buildings and grounds are gorgeous and the pool and public spaces are very inviting and provide a relaxing retreat after a busy day of visiting temples, markets, and the many other sites in and around Chaing Mai. The complimentary breakfast is fabulous and we were warmly greeted each morning by Ahwu who, along with the rest of the staff, provided excellent service. The location in a relatively quite corner of the old city couldn't be more convenient for walking or riding. As a bonus, it's just around the corner from SP Chicken which serves the most delicious (and inexpensive) grilled chicken ever! I would most certainly stay at Rachamankha again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chaing Mai.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing"

Review by: Bougainvillea20180 | Source: Trip Advisor
"A huge thank you to Praneeth, Sajith and the rest of the staff in making this one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had in Sri Lanka. We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of our road trip and saw it all: Leopards, herds of elephants, huge crocodiles and water buffaloes wallowing in the mud, painted storks and large egrets, just for the prettiness and so much more! Last but not least, a young sloth bear eating termites at dusk . We leave with the utmost respect and admiration for the team and the effort they put in to, not only giving you the time of your life but also in creating awareness and conservation of wildlife and habitat. We have lived Sri Lanka for a number of years and this was our first Safari - but definitely not the last Well done!!"

Tugu Lombok: "Certainly unique!"

Review by: Hely N | Source: tripadvisor.com
I was a little apprehensive as we drove down a dirt road and stopped at an old building which was really dark inside. Everything was not old, but antique, and of the best taste. A real treasure trove! Our room was splendid, and we much enjoyed the huge copper bath with its rain shower. The common buildings are spectacular, too, and the decor in the bar is brilliant. The staff, though not ultra-efficient, could not have been more attentive, and the food was very good. Having said that, one has to accept that Lombok has limited resources and that supplies sometimes run out. Massages were excellent, and we took advantage of the outings on offer, which were very well organised. This is a wonderful place to relax.

Review by: 602royd | Source: Trip Advisor
Serene' - the word that best describes Rachamankha at Chiang Mai A beautiful property, lovely staff and an excellent restaurant. The hotel is a 10-15 min walk from the night markets/walking streets. Would love to come back some time in the future.
