Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Fabulous Neeleshwar"

Review by: absolutelybaz | Source: Trip Advisor
"A truly wonderful peaceful place. Everything is beautifully done. The food is fabulous, and all the staff are sweet, helpful and smiley. Rooms are very comfortable and are situated in the gardens or facing the sea. You can totally relax. Sitting on the beach with your toes in the sand eating lovely grilled fish, is truly magical."

Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Distinguished by excellent staff; Best if you want quiet away from center"

Review by: Ashland_Local43 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This property is very lovely, with a beautiful, peaceful, jungle-like setting. If you want a quiet restful time away from the hustle of the town center, this is your place. Rooms are rustic, but comfortable and gorgeous in the traditional Cambodian style. The pool and grounds have a wonderful spa-like feel and are particularly sumptuous at night. But the physical appeal of this property is completely surpassed by the excellence of the staff. Every single staff member was cheerful, solicitous and kind, greeting us with a welcoming smile every time we returned from an outing. They excel even by Cambodian standards of hospitality, which are very high. The food, although beautifully presented, was not particularly distinguished and rather expensive for Cambodia. We've actually had very nice dinners in France for less. The prix fixe dinner is a good choice if you want to stay at the property and relax in the fabulous setting. But if you want to get around and explore, you can find better food in town for much less. For those who do want to spend a bit of time in town, this might not be the best choice. It is a very long walk (we only did it once and that was enough). The tuk tuk arrangement was also sub-optimal. You can't just walk out the door here and grab a tuk tuk -- there aren't any around. The hotel has to call one for you. We also had a little confusion over this arrangement: the hotel actually pays the driver (charging you a markup). So don't make the mistake of paying the driver again, as we did. And as far as we could tell, you pay for a round trip whether or not the driver returns you. So, on our first trip, the hotel billed us $7 for what was only a one way trip. We paid a different driver $2 to get back (note the unmarked-up price). None of this is a big deal or a serious criticism of the hotel. It's just a heads-up that you should clarify with the hotel exactly what you are paying for when you get a tuk-tuk, so there will be no surprises. Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"

Villa Song Saigon: "The best boutique 5star Hotel of Saigon"

Review by: CDW_65 | Source: Trip advisor
We have enjoyed every minute of our stay at Villa Song. The extremely warm-hearted and friendly staff made us feel at home in no time. The great location of the Villa directly at the Saigon river in the very hipp and up-coming District 2 of beautiful Saigon adds to the overall quality of the stay. We will surely come back!

4 rivers: "Best floating paradise"

Review by: Liase78 | Source: trpadvisor.com
We have just left 4 rivers today and were very sad to leave. We had the most amazing time and everything about the experience was excellent. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The service is excellent. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and all facilities that you would expect on a floating camp are available. The meals offered are that of a 5 star experience, wonderful food, amazing presentation and served professionally. The day trips and guides were also fantastic. Make sure you go on the fire fly boat trip just 20mins and it's free plus you're back in time for dinner. You MUST visit this camp and experience it yourselves.

Villa Song Saigon: "A peaceful Oasis"

Review by: daga65 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This beautiful hotel is set out of the bustling city of Saigon, located on the riverside. It is about a 20 minutes boat trip into district one of HCMC (provided free of charge by the hotel at selected times during e day). Approx. 50 mins drive from the airport (depending on time of day/traffic). The hotel is quiet and offers a relaxing and peaceful escape from the bustle and noise of the centre of HCMC. Very friendly staff, clean, large room (top floor), lovely pool area. Restaurant at back of hotel over looking river, lovely setting, food very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and would recommend this for anyone wanting a retreat from the manic city centre. "

Glenburn Tea Estate: "bliss"

Review by: leedsey | Source: Trip Advisor
We arrived at this beautiful place after a bumpy but breathtaking 6 hour drive from sikkim. . Faye, Will and Alex were there on the door step to greet us and we instantly felt like one of the family. The other guests were great fun..... mostly..... and it was really lovely to sit around the group table for dinner and listen to everyones travel stories. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. I have a fabulous massage in the little spa and the therapist eased away my aches and pains. Gin and tonics on the terrace overlooking the mountains and it really felt like a scene from Indian Summers. The rooms are gorgeous and after a week of homestays etc the beds were Bliss! There is a lot to do there and the staff are great at organising anything tailormade to suit your requirements. We went on to stay at the Tollygunge in Kolkata that they recommend and that was great in a completely different way. I could not recommend this wonderful hotel highly enough. i felt totally spoilt and loathe to leave Thanks again to Faye and the team for all their help. Room Tip: the one with the spanish wood four poster bed!

Flower Island: "Stunning, paradise, Robinson Crusoe Island"

Review by: bobbysocks76 | Source: Trip Advisor
"For us this place was perfect. Absolute heaven. Its secluded, quiet, relaxing etc what more can you want? The resort is sympathetic to the environment and the staff are unobtrusive and get on with their job. I say this because I think you need to be aware of these things before booking. Because this is remote I don't think you should expect; Ultra high speed wifi, staff attending to your every need waiting on you hand on foot, luxury Egyptian cotton, etc.. This isn't that kind of place. If you want that go and find a faceless, corporate resort. Instead, check in, turn off your phone, put your swimming trunks on and relax..... The staff were super friendly, and I loved their level of service, approachable, friendly, nice etc... Not uptight in any way. (...) I liked the food, always a good variety - 5-6 pots from which you could help yourself and always plenty of it. Really enjoyed the Pearl Farm, trip a wander around the island and Amber the dog rocks !!!! (and i don't like dogs!!)"

The Cabochon Hotel: "Hotel with an atmosphere"

Review by: ReyForever | Source: Trip Advisor
"Cabochon Hotel is a hidden gem! A hotel with great service and unique atmosphere!. We spent 4 nights with our 3 young boys and everything was delightful, from check-in to assistance in dealing with activities, to great food. We enjoyed a 2 interconnecting bedroom which was ideal for the family. Swimming pool on the roof is the cherry on the cake and works really well with kids! Thanks again to the whole staff for making our stay in Bangkok a fantastic experience! Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"

Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Impressed"

Review by: tuckyins | Source: Trip Advisor
Second highly rated restaurant of our weekend trip. This time recommended by a foodie friend. You have choice of 4-course or 6-course or la carte menu. We had the 4-course option which has three choices per course. Wifey and I chose different dishes so we ended tasting 8 dishes. Most of the dishes were yummy. So you'll have lots of options to enjoy a fine meal. Cheers.
