Sandat Glamping Tents: "Très bel endroit au calme"

Review by: Chlose | Source: Trip Advisor
"Nous avons passé deux nuits sous tente. Le bruit des animaux et des insectes la nuit est extraordinaire. L'accès à l'hôtel passe dans la rizières par une petite route de terre. Le cadre est parfait, le seul reproche que je pourrais faire concerne le matelas qui était vraiment trop ferme."

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "A Lodge with a View and so much more"

Review by: Christel W | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was my second time at TMPL, and for me TMPL is first of all about this magnificent view. The place itself is so beautifully built, that no matter which way you turn, you are always able to enjoy the spectecular view on the Anapurna mountain range and at the same time feel included in nature without being intrusive. A result of the environmentally conscious approach by its owner Marcus Cotton. The rooms are inviting - spacious, comfortable and in decor beyond any short lived fashion, which can at times be overwhelming. So I felt instantly at home. And the food was just delicious, home made from their own organic garden. It was a treat to chose whatever you wanted, because the guest's well being had priority. The staff is very well trained, attentive, efficent in a gentle way, making you feel very welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed Marcus' warm and generous hospitality sprinkled with a lovely sense of british humour. It was a truly wonderful stay for me and I will be back for more as soon as I can. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"

Reverie Siam: "Beautiful hotel"

Review by: Mayasolo | Source: Trip Advisor
The hotel was stuning and the room with the stand alone bath tab (river view) was amazing! The gardens, the lobby and of course the rooms were just gorgeous and very relaxing! The only minus was the restaurant- although it had a great tasety food it was all tiny so if you are hungry it's problematic to eat there. However breakfast was nice and the staff brought us more bread, and juice when needed. The staff were also very kind, and overall I would recommand this beautiful place to friends! P.s- it is 5 min from the walking streets of Pai but the hotel runs a shuttle that will take you whenever you want until 11pm, which was great for us!

tugu bali: "It doesn’t get any better than Tugu Hotel in Bali"

Review by: SuyashO | Source: tripadvisor.com
"First thing that impresses you about Tugu Hotel is the warmth of the staff! You will remember the efficient hospitality and the friendly nature for days to come! The beauty, the traditional ambience and the location takes you breath away. We were unlucky as we could not have their famed breakfast or dinner at the beach due to rains but the hotel staff was more than happy to organise the same in the best way possible indoors. We had booked their best villa i.e. the PurI Le Mayeur Villa for our honeymoon and we fell in love with the same. Every corner of the villa had such beautiful art to it. The villa is surrounded by a pond which adds to the experience of being alone with your loved one. Recommend the spa services here as they have experienced massage therapists who will give you relaxation in a traditional Balinese way that you don't experience in most spas! Also the All Day Breakfast is simply delicious and so filling! Me and my wife will always look back at this as our best stay in Bali and will definitely visit again! "

Satri House: "A resort with a heart and attention to details"

Review by: Seaglass3 | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed 5 nights at the Satri Hotel: truly a remarkable experience. The management responded promptly to email inquires and answered all questions. They walked us through the Lao Visa procedure and were at the airport to pick us up. They provided guides who were professional and helpful. Staff were amazing; food, 5 star. We appreciated the opportunity to leave a 5% tip for ALL staff when making final payment to the hotel our last day.

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Beautiful and ever so nice"

Review by: patricia v | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed five nights in this beautiful and small hotel. The staff was worried that we wouldn't have enough things to do and they organized wonderful and rewarding tours around the lake, temples and stores. The staff couldn't be nicer. The rooms (6 in all), face the river. The bed and bathroom are very comfortable. This hotel runs a school for future hotel managers and all the students are very eaget to learn and help. In addition, there is a cat sanctuary. Its purpose is the re-introduction of the Burmese cat which had disappeared from Myanmar but was still found in the UK and Australia. There are 39 cats that have a lot of space to play, eat and sleep. Check the sleeping quarters of the cats.. they are made to simulate pagodas. the hotel also has an aquarium with the history and challenges the lake faces. The food is excellent given that they grow their own vegetables. Try the tomato salad and their vegetable and tofu curry. You won't be disappointed! Stayed January 2016, traveled as a couple"

The Island Lodge: "Beautiful boutique hotel next to the river"

Review by: abails | Source: Trip Advisor
"We returned with our 4 yrs old for a second time to the Island Lodge and stayed three nights. I believe it's the best thought through boutique hotel I ever came across in SE Asia. The river view rooms are in 2F, right above the open restaurant, the very good size pool is next to the restaurant and everything is right next to the river. Basically wherever you are and whatever you do, you will have a river view (obviously not from the garden rooms). It is the perfect place for doing absolutely nothing. Food and drinks are good and you should be able to find something on either the French or the Vietnamese menu. The rooms have a good size and are very clean, the pool is great and big and never felt crowded. All the staff are very friendly and they will help whenever they can. The Lodge offers a few tours, which are not so bad if this is your first time to SE Asia. There are some areas which could be improved though. I had the manicure/pedicure which was really not that great. Sitting with hand and feet tucked into tiny bowls for quite a while was not very relaxing. I had the impression they want to offer the service, but the location is not really prepared for it. The manicure/pedicure itself was just ok. The other thing which bothered us one morning 7ish was to wake up to Vietnamese techno music played loudly in one of the neighboring houses. I hope this was because we stayed the days right after new year with all the schools off. Nevertheless, the Island Lodge is a fantastic place and we will be back. Stayed January 2017, traveled with family"

Mathis Retreat: "Very relaxing stay – very good value for money"

Review by: Mickael F | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed 4 nights in April with a 2 years old, it was our second stay and we enjoyed it again very much. Scenery and landscape of the hotel are just fantastic, the personalized service very enjoyable. Karine the Manager had great tour suggestions and recommended a very nice and competent guy. A special mention for the restaurant of the hotel (Terra cotta), where all the food there was very good every time (try the desserts!) and the service top level. Definitely a very good value for money. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"

THE SAMAR: "Idyllic oasis perfect recovery for Angkor wat visitors"

Review by: swalk262 | Source: Trip Advisor
We visited Cambodia for the sole purpose of seeing the historic and amazing Angkor wat sites. Thankfully we chose a gem of a hotel in the Samar. This is the perfect hidden gem, it is an oasis of peace and tranquility, and a unique boutique hotel. The hotel is of a high standard, with friendly helpful staff who can arrange your trips and ensure your stay is excellent. The pool is quiet and essential to aid recovery from the heat and busyness of visiting popular historic sites. Food was excellent with prompt service when required to catch your transport for touring. Rooms were clean, comfortable, peaceful and unique making your stay special. This is definitely a luxury hotel where you are made to feel special with excellent service and standards. This is a perfect special place to stay and I would definitely recommend it and will definitely return.
