Rachamankha: "Outstanding"

Review by: 602royd | Source: Trip Advisor
Serene' - the word that best describes Rachamankha at Chiang Mai A beautiful property, lovely staff and an excellent restaurant. The hotel is a 10-15 min walk from the night markets/walking streets. Would love to come back some time in the future.

Villa Song Saigon: "So friendly it feels like home"

Review by: maria_fridlund | Source: Trip Advisor
"HCMC is chaotic and after a day in the city it is so nice to come ""home"" to this wonderful place. The shuttleboat is great and so is the food and the poolarea. Perfect for families as well as for couples. Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"

The Village House: "wonderful people"

Review by: Martin L | Source: Trip Advisor
"Most reviews describe the lovely setting and the tranquility of Village House but for me the people there are amazing. Ever friendly and helpful, they helped to make my trip to Sarawak the wonderful experience that it turned into! The food was amazing as well.... try the chefs Sarawak Laksa... You'll not be disappointed!! If you're looking for a base to explore the Santubong/Kuuching area, that is quiet and slightly off the beaten track but accessible to the outside world? Try Village House"

Inle Princess Resort: "Fairy Tale"

Review by: VTT1 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"One of the most beautiful places we have been ever. It s worth the price. Absolutely lovely bungalows, huge room, amazing bathroom with a nice external shower (option we chose), spotless clean, fruits every day and they prepare your room each night before sleeping time. Luxury and discretion. The food is the best we had in restaurants in Myanmar and we were lucky to chose the cooking lesson at local family since we could get some recipes and have a authentically nice experience with locals. We had some massages: excellent ! The place is so beautiful that sometimes you doubt if you should go out do something else We did not want to leave and keep great memorie"

Cuca: "Great food"

Review by: dicko2 | Source: Trip Advisor
We visited Cuca in Jimbaran, after an event at Polperro winery (Red Hill), hosted by the head chef from Cuca. The food at Polperro was amazing and I was really excited to see the restaurant for the first time. I was not disappointed, the textures, presentation and flavours are fantastic and the staff are warm and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed, it's dimly lit and moody, but if you have a preference for more light, you can always sit at the bar over the kitchen and watch the precision of the team. The outside seating area is in a garden, complete with water features and lanterns. The grounds are generous. Price wise it's not over the top, I loved everything this place, so much so, I have booked again for tomorrow night!!

Slow Villas and Spa: "Relax, recharge and rejuvenate"

Review by: griasenk | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent 3 nights in Slow Gili Air and just had the nicest experience. We planned on staying only one night and ended up staying 3 nights...thats the perfect time to get the slow feeling in completely :) Everything is made with love and thought through with great taste. From the beautiful cutlery to the cellphone bags, we were just charmed by the planning and realisation of this private villa. It is a home away from home. If you like you can even prepare your own meal in your kitchenette or order food from the best restaurants on the island, slow staff will get it for you. We also had a great Aloe Vera Massage at the brand new spa. The staff just came back from their training in Bali and was absolutely qualified. Generally the staff is super friendly and helpful, as all people in Indonesia :) They arrange everything for you Snorkelling, Horseback riding, Diving, etc. Slow Villas is just a beautiful place with beautiful people <3 and I will recommend it to everybody."

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Excellent"

Review by: Brian S | Source: Trip Advisor
"Beautiful setting. Less than 20 cottages spread out over a fairly large area so privacy is virtually guaranteed. Rooms are well appointed including a semi open bathroom in the garden view room we stayed in. Good dining options with the beachside restaurant our favourite. The beach itself is amazing running in both directions as far as the eye can see with not a soul in sight. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended."

tugu malang: "Quite charming and well worth a visit"

Review by: Tamutoscana | Source: tripadvisor.com
This is a lovely little bijou hotel, filled with Indonesian and Chinese antiques and art, conveniently situated right in the heart of the old town facing a pleasant open square. The architecture, like the rest of the hotel, is slightly idiosyncratic and charmingly individual, which differentiates it from the usual run-of-the-mill ‘international’ hotels. The staff in reception, housekeeping and the restaurant are exceptionally efficient and helpful in a relaxed, friendly way. The restaurant has a wide selection of cuisine – Indonesian, Chinese and international – which often spells trouble, because it is difficult to keep such a range of ingredients fresh. However everything we ate in a week-long stay was fresh, delicious and cooked to a every high standard. If you visit Malang, I would definitely recommend this as a most enjoyable place to stay.

Locavore: "Still surprised after reading all the reviews about Locavore"

Review by: Rianbkk | Source: Trip Advisor
"It doesn't happen to me very often, but in this case the atmosphere and expectations raised by the reviews of hundreds of Tripadvisor members did not reflect the genuine experience we had by dining at Locavore. This kind of intro-paragraph will mostly precede a rather negative and contrary viewpoint but in this case I must say the evening we spend here was truly mesmerising. The amuse-bouches were drenched in local flavours even though some fitted on my fingernails. Imagine with that the 'Ashes' cocktail (you will indeed put a burning stick into the concoction, thus releasing a fair bit of ashes in your drink) and culinaire paradise in coming into wide view. The mains - we went for the 7 courses menu - were a mixed bag with caffeinated fish as a weird but surprisingly good part of it. Overall it is the combination of the nouvelle-cuisine presentation on the dishes combined with the exotic, original and authentic taste of local ingredients (chili pepper flowers, anyone?) that made this a very special evening for the both of us. Do try the Balinese coffee at the end. With a total bill of around 2.700.000, including two glasses of excellent Sangiovese, we probably spent more than half the average salary of the people working there, but as this works out at 160 Euro it was money more than well spend."

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Fantastic place & staff"

Review by: Julien L | Source: Trip Advisor
"French word : ""Le meilleur endroit pour dormir SUR le lac, et le meilleur restaurant de la région"" We were originally staying 2 nights, but ended but cancelling a night in Nyaung Shwe to spend an additional one at Inle Heritage. This is hands-down the best hotel (& restaurant) I've experienced in Myanmar. It is not the most luxurious, but it's not the point here. The rooms are beautiful, decorated with taste, eco-friendly. Only 6 bungalows, perfectly maintained, making the place a haven of peace in the evening. It might get busy at lunch and in the afternoon as tourists come to eat and visit the place. They probably have the best restaurant in lake area, and they also have burmese cats, endemic fish aquariums, cooking classes, homegrown vegetables etc. Basically the place is also a foundation : eco-friendly hotel, burmese cat sanctuary, and a school training students for hotels and restaurants. A portion of everything you pay here (hotel, restaurant, not sure for the souvenir shop) will go to the foundation. Breakfast is fantastic : real bread, real croissants, no wonder why all the customers were French :). Restaurant is great as well and serves fine cuisine (Myanmar/Thai style, homemade recipes, and a couple western dishes). Had one of their specialties, some simple fried rice and a so-classic Chicken Sandwich, all 3 were just perfect. Their ""pancakes"" are more like French crepes rather than US pancakes, taste great ! Girlfriend got sick on first day here, and stayed in bed the whole day while I left to visit Indein. The whole staff took care of her, from the cleaning ladies to the Chef preparing a special meal, and the manager checking on her every couple hours. Staff has been fabulous. The souvenir shop is nice as well, they seem to have superior quality stuff and pretty much everything you'd need. Consider checking it as you might find better stuff than on Inle markets / temple shops. You may find more luxurious places on Inle, but you will end up in resorts. It will cost more, and there will be 30 or more bungalows which won't always be in good shape. Honestly, if you want to be ON LAKE, go straight for Inle Heritage, forget about the lake ""resorts"". It is true there is some noise because of the boats going around (can start early in the morning), but keep in mind this will happen anywhere as long as you're staying on the lake. Okay, maybe a swimming-pool would be cool, but that sounds kind of stupid when you're actually on a lake (would not recommend swimming in the lake though). Maybe if they can make some eco-friendly pool, idea for the future :) We were kind of sad to leave Inle Heritage, I'd honestly would have stayed there for a whole week. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"
