Jing’s Residence: "Really fine small hotel located in the Ancient walled City of Pingyao"

Review by: Joe S | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I stayed in this marvelous hotel within the Ancient walled City of Pingyao. The staff were exceedingly gracious in service and even helped translate for us with some local teenage girls who wanted to have their picture taken with Westerners. The room was very nice and we had fresh honey soaked dates when returning from our day's exploring. Breakfast (included in our tour) was expansive and was off a menu and not a buffet - the food both Chinese & European was excellent. We ate dinner one evening and the food and service were outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Vraiment excellent"

Review by: bricevh | Source: Trip Advisor
"L'hôtel sur pilotis le plus charmant du lac Inle, honnêtement tout est vraiment très bien. Le seul défaut serait peut être l'eau chaude qui met un peu de temps à arriver le matin ? Pour tout le reste c'est parfait, petit-déjeuner à tomber au lever de soleil avec une vue magnifique sur la région, staff très sympathique et courtois, établissement eco-responsable, des chats birmans, bref parfait ! Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Family friendly, excellent safari and food"

Review by: helwen2017 | Source: Trup Advisor
"We stayed in the camp for two nights with our five year old son. They entertained him and the staff was very child friendly. They were professional in showing us the best of the wildlife. The native food was delicious, eating outside under the stars was fantastic. They are a professional team in wildlife and we felt safe travelling with them. It was a excellent experience and we could highly recommend it as family adventure. Our son still talks about this experience. As we also stayed two nights in Wilpattu he has difficulties to decide if Yala or Wilpattu was the best but would love to go back to both. (So do we)"

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Excellent location and atmosphere"

Review by: Willem U | Source: Trip Advisor
We are a family of 4 and enjoyed the Apsara very much. Fantastic pool (only allowed at this side of the river) and genuine service of the caring staff. Price quality for room, facilities, service and location is excellent!

Misool Eco Resort: "Holiday at Misool Eco Resort"

Review by: markokruidenier | Source: tripadvisor.com
"I went to Misool Eco Resort again (5th time). The diving seems to be better every year. For the past 7 years fishing around the resort is not allowed anymore, so there is more fish every time. A few years ago i saw a shark every now and then. Now there are sharks on every dive. Saw mantas several times. This was the first time i was there in March/April and the visibility was very good. I found my stay here very relaxing, even with the 45 dives i did in two weeks. The weather: mainly sunny. I think it rained at night a few times. The restaurant serves excellent food, mainly Asian cuisine and they have good wines. The overall experience is excellent."

Nimmu House: "An amazing place and a friendly team"

Review by: Christophe D | Source: Trip Advisor
We are a family with two children of 9 and 7 . We stayed our first 3 nights in Ladakh at Nimmu House . It is a beautiful quiet place : a well renovated traditional Ladakhi house with a beautiful garden and very confortable tents for the guests. We were staying in one of the tents : they are all beautifully decorated , comfortable and spacious . You get the dinner in the main dining room where you can eat a delicious cuisine . The staff is very friendly and always try to please you. The hotel is eco friendly and in symbiosis with its environment . It is easy to socialise with other guests . Wifi and internet connection like many places in Ladakh can be a challenge . Nevertheless, It was a very pleasant stay and our kids loved it . We strongly recommend Nimmu House . We will surely come back.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Fantastic break from the outside world!"

Review by: Rohonesh K | Source: Trip Advisor
During our trip of Cambodia (Jan'18), we spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We drove from Sihanoukville International Airport and were able to reach their reception point in little under 3 hours. The 25 min ride from the reception point to the actual lodge builds up the anticipation in a good way as some of the scenery is just jaw-dropping. Quant little tents with all the required amenities, extremely comfortable and a private deck for yourself, which you can use for enjoying the sun or jumping into the Tatai River wherever you want. With little or no phone connectivity (only Metfone has any sort of connectivity here), you can switch off from the outside world and just spend time with nature. They also take you in a boat to enjoy the sights of fireflies in the evening and it looks magical. You can enjoy the sunset as well (an hour's ride in a boat down the Tatai river) or other trips that they can arrange for you on demand. They maintain a decent DVD collection which you can use (they don't have satellite TV and this is a good change). Paulo (manager) and Narayan were super hospitable and ensured that every little request is taken care of and that you are well looked after. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Cambodia.

Hotel Tugu Malang: "Artistic wonderful hotel"

Review by: Aleclaase | Source: Trip Advisor
First time I visit this hotel is really amazed me. All the side as far as we take our eyes was really beautiful, many historical items have its own stories behind it about art, sadness, patriotic, soldier, happiness, unique, even horror.

Dewakan: "Great experience"

Review by: Kritz_Y | Source: Trip Advisor
"Just checked their website and they seemed to have changed their menu! Seems like what I had was a mixture of their old menu and the new one. Snacks (Choy Sum Nori, Beef Tendons, Mango Curry, Yoghurt and Roselle): Choy Sum Nori was quite cool and memorable! The others were ... interesting? Could be too weird for some. Starters (Blue Mackerel, Roast Mushrooms, Grilled Vegetables, Home Made Noodles): Quite liked the roast mushrooms. Was told to eat from right to left, but perhaps plating it from left to right would be make more sense since most people hold their forks on the left and knives on the right? Just a suggestion! The noodles weren't that great, however. Mains (Pike Conger, Duck, Quail): The highlight of the night! I really loved each of the 3 main dishes, but sadly two of them don't seem to be on the new menu anymore. Probably one of the most memorable dishes I've had. Desserts (Mulberries, Gula Melaka, Chocolate Tart, Popsicles): The 3 desserts from the menu were great. At the end they gave us 3 additional popsicles even though we were absolutely stuffed by then. Really didn't like the weird popsicle flavours, but to each their own perhaps? Can't imagine it would be popular since none of us liked the popsicles. Service was great, however some were a little too soft-spoken when it came to explaining the dishes. Not sure if having descriptions left on the table would be too tacky but I would love to have something to refer to while eating."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A Wonderful Experience"

Review by: Peachy50 | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here recently for 3 nights at the end of a month long tour of Vietnam and Cambodia.Everything about it was fantastic. The location, the wonderful luxurious tents, the food, the friendly helpful service by all of the staff, the excursions...it was all magical. We did the early morning jungle trek and the boat trip to a remote village and kayaking in the mangroves. Our guide was so helpful and interesting (sorry can't remember his name) and it was lovely to see his family waving from their home just over the river. We also took kayaks (my first ever venture) and crossed the river to visit the local village. We were greeted by one of the families, given a tour around by foot to some of the villagers homes and they went out of their way to get fresh coconuts down for us to drink. The whole setting is wonderful and was such a relaxing treat after such a hectic holiday. We would thoroughly recommend 4 Rivers, we only wish we could return
