4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing break after siem Reap"
"Lovely break after the heat of the temples. About 4-5 hours trip by car from Phnom Penh but worth the journey From the welcome drink on arrival to the staff coming to the jetty to wave us goodbye when we left it was a great few days. Lovely staff and great food. The tents are very large and very well fitted out. (Nothing like the tents I remember from girl guiding)We had intended to go to the waterfall but it was so relaxing sitting on our deck watching the river we did not bother but everyone else really enjoyed the trip. We had a massage which was very reasonable, ask for the gentle version!!! The staff were lovely my husband has mobility problems and everyone was really helpful If you visit Cambodia and have the time visit Four Rivers you will have a great time"Mrauk U Princess Resort: "un endroit magnifique"
"Nous sommes arrivés par bateau dans cet hôtel. Les bungalows sont éparpillés dans un environnement luxuriant. Chambre très agréable, décoration chaude. Joli restaurant de très bonne qualité à prix doux. Personnels très gentils et serviables. Anglais très approximatif ! Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"Mie Cafe: "Little Oasis with amazing food"
"The courtyard garden and restaurant is a quiet oasis with its calm gentle atmosphere is a welcome relief from the hustle , bustle and noise of downtown . Aside from that the food is sensational, an Asian fusion dream. We opted for the gourmet menu and the vegan menu which were not only delicious but great value at $28 and $21 dollars respectively. The food was very fresh, tasted delicious and presented well. The vegan baked Aubergine was delicious and both the gourmet chocolate and vegan chocolate desserts were heavenly . Sorry we didn't have a extra night to go again and would really recommend you fit a visit into your time whilst in Seim Reap."Maduzi Hotel: "Unexpected pleasure"
I wasn't expecting much from the street view. What a nice room. I was particularly impressed with the tub. The staff were very helpful and polite. I highly recommend the food. Try something unique to the restaurant. They clearly have a chef and not just a cook. The flavor combinations were unexpected and delightful.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "A Wonderful Wildlife Safari ro remember forever"
"We were a big family comprising 3 generations, mostly inexperienced campers plus one passionate elephant keeper/ animal conservationist,,and we arrived to a warm welcome which included delicious cold drinks and towels. Very welcome after a long drive from Ella .Right from the start of my research into a safari into Yala NP over a year ago, I had a special feeling that this safari was going to be a huge highlight of our big family trip to Sri Lanka. Wonderful pre trip communication with Sophie and Noel, and then we met Sajit, Praneeth , Damien and the rest of the wonderful team. Our great, comfortable tents ( I could even use the outdoor shower at first go ), delicious, varied food. We had 3 picky children, a 15 yr old vegan and all the rest, and we loved ALL the food. Great get togethers in the communal areas, with those G&Ts and Tiger beer. What can I say about the fantastic expertise of Sajit and his team. We learnt about animal alarm calls, Sajit provided us with a priceless example of using them to spot a glorious leopard in the fading dusk light. Of course when you go on safari you hope to see the prized animals, and we sure did, but we also learnt about the expertise and experience required to locate these majestic creatures. We also loved the colourful birds, mongoose, jackals , peacocks and the stunning varied landscapes. 2 dawn safaris, 2 dusk safaris, a bear, elephants, numerous deer, families of monkeys, and miraculously a few sightings of leopards. An experience of a lifetime, We Thank you All from the bottom of our hearts, A true highlight of our trip, and we hope to return and have recommended you to family and friends. Kind Regards from Jennifer, Juris and family. Room Tip: The best safari tents, great beds and very adequate amenities."The River Resort: "Excellent séjour !"
Rachamankha: "A super oasis of calm in Chiang Mai"
"A proper oasis in the old town of Chiang Mai. It is really beautiful and immaculately maintained - not a leaf or petal out of place. We had a standard room which was fine - spacious and with a lovely large bed. The shower was walk-in and big enough for my husband to use without complaints. The shower has hot, cold, on or off - it was fantastic and extremely strong! There was plenty of free drinking water and for the staff, nothing was too much trouble, at all. The pool area is lovely and while we were there, they replaced the sun beds which were much better! We ate in the restaurant the first night as we got a bit lost when we wandered out of the hotel. It was great - I am surprised by some of the negative reviews. There is a nice selection of both thai and western dishes on the menu and we went for the Thai ones which were very good. Breakfast was amazing. The white table clothed tables were set up in the courtyard and used the beautiful 'antique' crockery. As ever, the service was impeccable. As well as a small buffet there was the choice of a variety of hot dishes, all included in the price. The only downside was the internet - I know that a lot has been said about this and as one reviewer stated, if you want to get away from it all then great, some of us don't have that luxury and I need to check in (home and work) at least once a day. The internet is deeply frustrating and I almost knocked off a star. If the management are reading this PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE INTERNET! Overall a super hotel that we would not hesitate to return to."Dewakan: "Amazing"
"This restaurant is out of the centre of KL about 35 minutes without traffic an hour with. Don't let this put you off. The food is spectacular and from an international perspective reasonably priced. We had the 10 course degustation which with 3 pre entrees and an extra dessert worked out at 14 different and very interesting dishes for RM250(I think). The food while paying homage to Malaysia is very much modern cuisine. Every dish was unique."Reverie Siam: "Wonderful Place in Pai"
We heard about how wonderful Pai in rainy season. First, we have no idea about recommendation then coffee shop at Pai suggest us to visit here once. When we came in the staff very kind and sincerely. Room clean and beautiful. lovely view. The beakfast is the best.Les Maisons d’Itac: "A small but fantastic resort!"
We spent a long weekend in the bamboo house at this small but beautiful resort. Great experience. You are sleeping 3 meters from the beach! You hear the waves and all kinds of sounds in the night, very relaxing. The atmosphere at the place is great. It is sort of at the end of the road, so there is no restaurants or things to do within walking distance. But the staff and the manager Bryan are very serviceminded and will help you with anything you want to do or go to. We recommend you to eat all meals at the resort and then there's no need to go anywhere else. Just stay at the resort and enjoy it. We would love to come back some day!
