Reverie Siam: "Amazing surroundings and room deco"
Stayed for a night in Reverie Siam with a girl friend and the experience was amazing. Thoughtful service. Although it's located a distance away from the walking street, the hotel had a tuktuk service to bring you to and fro the hotel and the main walking street. We did not have Thai number and the hotel loaned us a phone to call them for a pick up back to the hotel. The room deco was beautifully vintage and very instagram worthy. Lovely outdoor garden if you stay on the ground floor and lovely pools and you can also sit on the deck chairs by the river which runs by the resort. The hotel restaurant, Silhouette, serves some amazing dishes for dinner and breakfast which came with the hotel stay was definitely exceptional. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Pai!JL Studio: "A magician Chef!"
"With the talented creative sense of Chef Jimmy, a beautiful presentation, a deeply researched concept, a friendly team for service, JL Studio has found the magic formula to surprise. Young chef, young team, new place... yet a solid experience that transports us with brio into the imaginary world of the Chef. CONGRATULTIONS!"Samanea Beach Resort: "Fabulous getaway!"
Superb villa accommodation for couple or families. The staff were superb as was the salt water swimming pool. Very lovely villas, comfortable beds, outside showers and inside bathrooms, cable TV, wireless, restaurant, man made beach and incredibly beautiful gardens. Be warned though that even though it is right on the sea, the sea comes up to a gown ups knees only! There is a very long jetty that takes you out further but again the tide is normally out - don't get me wrong it is still very pleasant. Mangrove is very clean, lots of wildlife especially birds. The staff could not do enough to help they were just great and overall I must say our experience was excellent. For a getaway from Phnom Penh or to just visit Kep it is the perfect place. The Apsara Rive Droite: "Very nice place"
Perfect location near by the river Khan, and so close the center with all shops, restaurants and bars. Warm welcome. Rooms having a very good value for money. Plus, we had a nice meal at the restaurant. Friendly staff and kind manager Christopher.Manda De Laos: "Beautiful setting"
Striking setting... the large wooden decks over the ponds, the lights and colors... it is a unique place in Luang Prabang. Pan-asian cuisine, original presentation and attentive service: Manda de Laos must be on the list of gourmet romantic diners when visiting Luang Prabang.Amata Lanna: "Gorgeous boutique hotel"
"We were moved here as they needed to check the electric shower in our other hotel. It is a gorgeous boutique hotel very beautifully decorated in old Lanna style Thai decor with ornate wooden features . The staff are very welcoming and you are warmly greeted and offered a welcome drink in the small reception area. The rooms are all set around a pool and there are lots of little seating areas and a cute little path over a pond to the toilet. The room itself was decorated with plush Thai fabrics, wooden artefacts and had a beautiful, huge bathtub, where you could enjoy a candlelit bath. I loved bed that the bath and shower products were in pot bottles with stoppers instead of plastic and there was a cute little elephant soap dish with an elephant soap inside. The location is close to the hustle and bustle and near the nightmarkets but the hotel offers a tranquil respite from all the noise. It was lovely to sit outside at night as the lights from the pool and the garden made it very peaceful. We had to leave for an early flight to the airport and the staff arranged a taxi and for mango sticky rice and coffee delivered to our room before we left. I would definitely stay here again."Maison Polanka: "“Rooms with character ”"
While in Siem Reap on business I wanted something with more character than the usual hotels, that could also be my home for my business trips. I found Maison Polanka thanks to an article in the Financial Times. As others have said, the rooms are beautiful and the staffs extremely helpful managing to arrange temple tour to fit my business schedule. The nature there is just so peaceful and gives me energy to start my day as well as rejuvenates me in the evening.Once you enter the wooden gate,it is another world. Just bliss!Jing’s Residence: "Oasis in the hustle & bustle"
"We can strongly recommend Jing's Residence and the walled City of Pingyao. Pingyao is a full-on, in your face experience - the sights, aromas and sounds of an ancient city engaged in modern commerce - a special experience.. That special experience can be enhanced by staying in the centre of the walled City at Jing's. Jing's is in the thick of the action, but offers a tranquil, high quality refuge to recharge your batteries. Jing's is located in a 400 year old courtyard, tastefully renovated to offer international class accommodation with 1st class service, highly attentive staff and excellent dining. If you go to Pingyao, a stay at Jing's Residence is a must."Reverie Siam: "Quality hotel in Pai"
"Beautiful hotel just outside the village of Pai. It felt like a true oasis in Northern Thailand. Every morning we were served the most amazing a la carte breakfast, delicious. There are two beautiful swimming pools where we relaxed the first day after the long scooter ride from Chiang Mai. Very low prices for food and cocktails, you would expect to pay a lot more in a 5 star hotel ike this. Only a short scooter ride to the village with many restaurants and bars. Here we discovered Northern Thailands, in our opinion most delicious dish: Khao Soi Gai. It can found in the main street where the night market is: two people are cooking on the street and they have a 'restaurant' behind them. They only prepair Pad Thai & Khao Soi Gai. Only 50B! Amazing. Please note that in the hotel only Western style food is served, no Thai food. If you want to relax a little also this is the perfect hotel to stay at in Pai. "Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"
"This is Thailand's best kept secret. Charming and secluded and really really well run by Massi, the hotel manager. We were in heaven and are dreaming about our next visit. No tvs, no air conditioning, running water that smells a little due to minerals, but none of it matters when you are at the golden Buddha because you are drawn into a Robison Crusoe fantasy that you seldom find anywhere these days. Lots of nature and very little to do except enjoy the surroundings. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"
