Maduzi Hotel: "Spacious rooms, great location"
Great location - easy to find and in the center of activity while feeling quiet and secluded enough. Rooms were quite large and I loved the shower, especially after a long day exploring Bangkok. Welcome drink was a nice perk+Tugu Malang: "A most wonderful hotel"
I can really recommend this hotel. Although only 25 years old it is built in the dutch colonial style. The staff are very attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food in the restaurant is excellent and cheap by english standards. The rooms are comfortable and perfectly adequate. Part of the hotel is a museum and the staff give an escorted tour. The is even the possibility of a cycle tour in the morning avoiding the traffic, This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at and I doubt if there is a better one in Malang. An extensive tea with indonesian delicacies is available free to all the guests.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Unique Boutique Hotel with fabulous service"
"My sister and I spent 6 nights at this fabulous hotel and I can honestly say I have never stayed at a hotel with better service. It is a training hotel for the hospitality industry and each year there is a new intake of about 48 students from all parts of Myanmar. The attention to detail is unsurpassed in each of the six stilted huts which feature local crafts and fabric with a lot of teak wood. Breakfast was served each morning overlooking the reed banks floating in the lake. Stunning views in all directions. There is a very special shrine room featuring a fabulous shrine copied from a temple nearby. My favourite feature of the hotel is the Burmese cats. The hotel has taken on a project to reintroduce the Burmese cats to Myanmar. The breed had all but died out. Guests are allowed to spend time with these precious animals getting a cuddle. We were fortunate to attend a cooking course at the hotel with the head chef. What an amazing experience that was, not cheap but worth every cent. Perhaps my only negative at this magical place was the passing boat noise which is probably to be expected if you stay on a lake and that is the only form of transport available. I would strongly recommend a few nights stay at this very unique hotel. I can't finish this review without mentioning some of the very special staff members who made our stay even more enjoyable, thanks Pann Myet, Nay Zaw, Chaw Su and Thun and so many others. Stayed December 2016, traveled with family"MesaStila: "Two nights are NOT enough"
Spectacular resort set within a coffee plantation. Think being on yr 60 m2 terrace While facing forest and a Volcano, while you r hearing the Muezzins prayers. Breakfast and Dinners r great with a lot of European food offer (practical if you have kids and you do not want always discuss). Great Service and a lot of activities, such Yoga and Java dance classes, included in the price. The Twelve Hotel: "Nothing better"
Good choice, we read the reviews and this time we have not freagato. Clean place quiet and in great location. Comfortable rooms. From here we move on public transport in all directions. Then in the evening, after all the day in the chaos of Bangkok it looks like an oasis.Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Superb"
"Incredibly beautiful place to stay! Even though it is located in a busy town, the cleverly designed garden makes it so secluded and tranquil that one feels that it is in the middle of a beautiful country side. Beautiful! Rooms are wonderful and spacious. But my favourite was the lovely porch where my husband and I spent every night sitting listening to gecko lizards and watching fireflies. It was so beautiful and really heart-warming. Food was really, really good, especially my favourite and one of the restaurants' specialities - the deep-fried frangipani flower! Finger-licking good! Yummy! Really loved it! My husband and I enjoyed the hotel so much that we wish we stayed there longer, it is really worth staying at. Most recommended! "Rachamankha: "Tranquility"
Rachamankha was wonderful. Very clean rooms, great customer service and extremely quiet. The rooms were big with AC, lots of free bottled water and a hair dryer. Every detail was beautifully thought out. No complaints and I have already recommended it to many friends. I would return for sure.Sandat Glamping Tents: "WOW!! THE BEST HOTEL I’VE EVER STAYED IN!"
"Well what can I say, it was such an amazing experience I cried I was that overwhelmed. What beautiful, kind and caring people who actually meant it. Tengo the manager was by far my favourite who was so kind he made me cry at breakfast, I gave him the biggest hug when we left :) We was sadly only here for 3 days :( and had so much booked we didn't spend as much time at the hotel as we would of liked. I say hotel because it's far too lovely to be called glamping :) I had a yoga lesson first thing in the morning which was breath taking over looking the rice fields and a great teacher who corrected you when you were out of place. I also had a massage in my room which was the best massage I've ever had. We ate here twice and both times the food was superb along with their cocktails and wine and such a stunning setting, the owner really does have amazing taste, shabby chic but with immense attention to detail. The waitress's were also lovely and so sweet, would do anything for you. People moan about the location, but it clearly states it's not in the centre and offers a free shuttle bus which is basically a private taxi to 2 drop off points so really no need to moan there. We had a lovely driver one day who took us to the waterfall, holy temple and coffee plantation which I'd highly recommend. We got the shuttle to the monkey forest one day, if you're not scared do try and buy some bananas to feed them, it's a great experience when they jump on your shoulders, amazing creatures. The hotel offered to book the mount batur trip for us which is a MUST but i'd advise booking in the town, it's a quarter of the price and you get to do this with a group which is much more fun, keep in mind you have to be quite fit and there are no loos once you start climbing, but one of the best experiences of my life, incredible and breath taking views. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and they will cook you any eggs you like, omelette, pancakes, scrambled etc, some great healthy options too including bee polen for your cereal. Now if you are scared of creatures this place is not for you and they state that on their site, I loved it and really enjoyed the frogs hopping around and beautiful geckos, but they will be in your bathroom and may even visit at dinner, but hey this is why this is called glamping, you're in with nature and I think it's fantastic but like I said if if you're scared it's not for you. The rooms are out of this world with stunning furniture and outside bathroom and your pool which is shared or your own depending what you book is right outside your room which is great. I honestly can't express to you enough what an unbelievable experience this really was and was a sad moment to leave such a unique and beautiful place, I will defiantly return as Ubud completely stole a piece of my heart!"Tugu Lombok: "A truly magical place"
"As someone who seen many many hotels cities, countries and places I can truly say that this hotel left an ever lasting positive impression in my head. A secluded serene place of beauty. Ideal for romantic getaways or personal getaway from noise, crowds and hustle. Extremely attentive staff. Great spa and an overall warm place to reconnect with your inner self."Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Beautifully well preserved"
This hotel is really special. The building and the rooms are just breathtaking. The attention to detail and the original features really set it apart. I loved the light switches! The location is great, really close to everything yet completely quiet and tranquil as soon as you walk through the gates. The staff is really friendly as well and were always available for whatever we needed. Overall, great value and would definitely stay there again.
