RACHAMANKHA: "Beautiful, elegant hotel with amazing, friendly staff"

"One of my best hotel experiences ever, and I travel a lot for work and pleasure. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made sure that everything was perfect for us. This small hotel has a very unique, authentic feel to it. I believe it only has about 26 rooms, so it has a small, elegant character. After spending several weeks site-seeing around Thailand, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Some highlights were the pool, which was never crowded and the hallways and sitting area at night which had amazing incense burning. The professional pictures of the hotel don't do it justice "

Villa Song Saigon: "Phenomenal hotel"

Cannot speak highly enough of this gem of a hotel. Location, room, food, service - all absolutely formidable. Will be recommending to any friends heading to HCM. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable, you have a wonderful team of staff.

Jing’s Residence: "If you are staying in Pingyao, you need to stay here"

"The only downside to our stay is it wasn't long enough. Jing's Residence surpassed our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived we felt like we had walked into a dream. The hotel is beautiful and full of history. Even though you are in the centre of the walled old city of Pingyao it is quite and peaceful. The staff is amazing and made us feel so welcome. Our room was beautiful and spacious with seating outside in the courtyard, a perfect place to start your night and end your night. Make sure to eat here!!! The food is wonderful and fresh. My favorite was the local oat noodles, so much so I had it twice. I am a picky eater, because of dietary restrictions and was very well taken care of at Jing's Residence Restaurant. I did the paper cutting class, while my husband went out in the rain to walk the wall, and it was worth every penny to learn something new and to meet Deng Cui Ying. Please don't make the mistake we did and only stay one night. The small village of Old Pingyao is lovely and a day and a night is enough time to visit, but the extra night will let you truly relax and embrace the hotel. I can not thank Imam and his staff enough for the warm hospitality. Our stay with you was the best we had in China."

Inle Princess Resort: "Birthday Dinner"

"We came to Inle Princess from another resort on the other side of the lake for a special birthday dinner organised by our agent. We were due to eat on the private island but unfortunately it was raining very heavily, so we ate in the wine cellar instead. I can't compare the wine cellar to the island as I never saw the island BUT the wine cellar was sooooooo gorgeous, I wasn't sad at all that we were moved. When we walked in, they'd decked it out with rose petals and candles in lotus pads. The table was made of a long canoe and the ceiling had this incredible painting of life on Inle on it. It was honestly the most beautiful wine cellar I've ever seen. They put some traditional music on and we had a waiter attending to our every need. We were then treated to a bottle of champagne and a six course feast. We started with home made breads and chutneys, then had a crispy pancake with herbs. The fish course was eel caught in the lake which we were dubious about but my goodness, it was delicious! Next came a cheese pastry with loads of yummy melted cheese in it. The main course was a selection of three meats plus a huge shrimp served with cauliflower gnocchi. The chef then came out to bring us desert herself, which was a trio of three homemade mouses served on a mini canoe. It was so pretty. She told us a bit about the food we'd eaten. Then to my surprise in burst ten or eleven resort staff, complete with a guitar and a chocolate cake, and sang happy birthday to me. They presented me with a lovely hand written card and a birthday present. As if this wasn't all enough, they then gave us homemade biscuits and the most amazing herbal tea. By this point I was stuffed and the cake had to come back with us in a box! All in all Inle Princess made this birthday very memorable for me and I wasn't expecting something so lavish. I would highly recommend them for a special occasion and for a unique dining private experience in the wine cellar!"

MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Amazing"

"very good place with amazing views and facilities. The resort crews were also very helpful and kind to support and assist us during our stay there. I stayed there as domestic guest and it was still worth to stay. Don't miss the coffee tour and local batik making!"

The Island Lodge: "Such luxury"

So close to HCMC but away from the bustle. We were greeted by staff and Michel ( the host). Our room was authentic country luxury with no marble in site. Gave us a feeling of tropical colonial luxury. A beautiful pool, tropical gardens, amazing French cuisine for dinner and breakfast. Staff were incredibly polite and service was amazing. Thanks so much for sharing your spot of paradise.

Tugu Lombok: "Above and Beyond Expectations"

I had researched this hotel and recommended it to two friends despite not actually visiting it myself so I had high expectations. Finally, I got to visit and I was not disappointed, and I have been lucky enough to stay in many luxurious hotels around the world. This hotel is a gem. From the minute we arrived we all felt...

Tugu Bali: "Absolutely wonderful"

"An unforgettable stay. The staff is warm, friendly, beyond accommodating and truly gracious. The property is gorgeous — beginning with the stunning lobby that will make your jaw drop the moment you enter. Historic Balinese details are strewn throughout the decor, and the room we stayed in had the feel of a colonial-era suite. Comfortable and modern amenities (the bed is top notch!). The food was fantastic — our breakfasts, in particular, were always the perfect way to start the day. The area itself is a surfer community, so it's a little livelier (and younger) than other parts of Bali that we visited. The beach is nice, though not exactly low-key and relaxing (if you're a surfer, it'll be right up your alley). Some very nice restaurants, bars and boutiques within walking distance. Overall, we loved our time here. We can't say enough about the service and the friendliness of the staff/management. They took care of us in every way and we will most certainly be back the next time we're in Bali."

Tugu Lombok: "Too good… Tugu!"

We are travellers who enjoy the splurge when it's worth it but never like to return to locations we have previously visited (the world is just too big). Tugu is one of those places we would love to visit again though, if only for its uniqueness. One of the first things you'll hear on your intro is that Tugu is not for everyone and this is the kind of thing that makes me happy on holidays. Who wants to spend money to get holidays that are "for everyone"? In Tugu you will be taken care of individually. We stayed 4 nights at Dadap Merah on the Retreat package and definitely recommend the package to all. The room is unique and -frankly- perfect. We loved the rustic quirkiness of the resort and the kindness of all staff. Terima kasih and you again!

4 rivers: "Tranquility Base"

"I stayed with my wife and son for a couple of nights on one of the floating tents recently. Our hosts had arranged an extra bed for our son and a lovely bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday. The 4 Rivers team really enjoy making your stay as comfortable and unique as they can. Swimming in the river straight from your lodge makes you feel like you're in the middle of a jungle. Do get up early and listen to the dawn chorus. The trip to the fishing village and collecting clams in a mangrove swamp is great. There are bugs around at night but they are dealt with. The management did everything they could to make arrangements when our plans changed at short notice. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. "
