Heritage Suites Hotel: "Beautiful hotel in Siem Reap"

Review by: Adrien R | Source: Trip Advisor
"What a beautiful Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap ! Great architecture, with an amazing swimming-pool and a beautiful spa managed by Bodia, a well known brand in Cambodia. Rooms are hudge, beautful and very well equipped. Smiling and efficient service, great food and a beautiful bar. What else could you ask for ??? Maybe a pick-up by a vintage car ? They do that also! Thanks to all the team"

Rachamankha: "Classic gem if you are into classics"

Review by: Hongche | Source: Trip Advisor
"Positives: extra comfortable bedding, in a quiet and nice alley away from busy traffic, professional and helpful staff, pool having the cleanest water I have seen (reminds me of Pissin Molitor in The Life of Pi), lush and immaculate landscaping, included breakfast is delicious, and delicately prepared. Negatives: internet works only half the time, limiting my ability to upload photos and book tours for the next days; room door, bathroom door and shower door are all narrow or half openable, really inconvenient."

Dewakan: "Definitely worth a visit"

Review by: M.Y. L | Source: Trip Advisor
The restaurant serves a degustation menu and you can only choose between a 10 course (RM240) or 5 course (RM180) meal. The service and meal presentations are excellent and the food is generally of a high standard. The restaurant is also very generous giving 4 free appetizers and a free dessert so we ended up having a 15 course meal. Definitely worth the price. Only disappointment is the ambience as the restaurant is quite bare but the toilet is quite classy. Also, beware the traffic getting there as it took us one and a half hours from Jalan Duta on a Friday evening.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "For the rest of your life"

Review by: johnnersgm | Source: Trip Advisor
"""For the rest of your life"" is quite a claim. We were both frazzled and so it was an easy claim to sign up for. Neeleshwar Hermitage totally delivered. The setting on the edge of the Arabian Sea is pretty special: for miles and miles of sandy beach and the rhythm of the waves wherever you are, enjoying yoga, breakfast at the beach restaurant or the infinity pool that looks out over the sea. The Ayurvedic Spa is where the relaxation really delivers with the spa team providing the best massages and treatments totally restoring mind, body, and spirit which were far from balanced on arrival. Having warm oil gently running on my forehead took me gently into a very deep sleep. The detox package we had opted for prescribed vegetarian food which Is not my usual menu, but the North Kerala recipes mixing spices and herbs were excellent. The whole experience was delivered by a delightful team throughout the resort. Sadly we had to leave after our allotted week and did so in a very different state than when we arrived. ""For the rest of your life"" indeed. "

The River Resort: "Magical environment. Great people."

Review by: John P | Source: Trip Advisor
Very rarely am I blown away with a hotel. This time I was. Met at airport by Hotel car. Taken to this place that appears to be in the middle of nowhere built on the bank of the river. Arranged direct transfer as was quoted 3 times as much by an agency. Set around rice fields. Had three night stay. Was not long enough. Room weas great. Large balconies front and back. Indoor and outdoor showers. Lots of space. Most helpful staff. Arrange tuc tuc - or even car if you are that way inclined - to Wat Phu and other places nearby, Good open restaurant overlooking the river. Enjoyed the food (and for me that is not always the case). And really lovely people who went out of their way to assist in every way. Its the only place to stay if you wish to visit Wat Phu. And that is something that you really ought to wish to do.

Tugu Lombok: "Quirky and very special."

Review by: Amanda H | Source: tripadvisor.com
This is such a quirky hotel. I was slightly alarmed on guest impressions because this is definitely not a sophisticated, one dimensional hotel. This is a one off. Beautiful situation right on the beach, big rooms with outside bathrooms and plunge pools, huge grounds, two pools - the new one bring a large infinity pool with fresh water and I always had it to myself). Plenty of sunbeds so you never had to rush anywhere and the staff were all completely charming. We were made to feel very welcome and everyone knew our names. The manager was very visible and personable and, like all the staff, seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. A very special place. Recommend the BBQ on the beach (the staff went to great lengths to make it special and the food was fab). Also recommend Gillian Island snorkelling trip where we saw lots of turtles which was a highlight

tugu bali: "We wanted a WOW !!!!!! place to send our first Christmas! We found it! Hidden Secret"

Review by: soni2acantin | Source: tripadvisor.com
"My boyfriend and i wanted a WOW place to spend Christmas. I went on internet and typed : "" best places to spend Christmas"" and i found an article from Condè Nast saying : Bali, and the best hotel to go : Tugu Hotel ! So i booked. The hotel is amazing since the owner is the biggest art collector of Indonesia, you can really feel a good ""vibe"" BUT the service is even more amazing. We rented the Dendari Suite(we had our private pool and private court yard with a fish pound, with a private swing bed !!!. They brought us to our room at midnight after a 30h flight ..., candles were lit, encent was burning on the way to our door AND our HUGE bath was filled with warm water, flowers and lemongrass essential oil..... WOWWW, the rest was just like that, there is only 21 rooms so the concept is that you can have your breakfast, lunch diner where ever you like, at the beach, at in the Chinese Temple, in your room, near the pound whereever ! The food at the hotel is great, i would really advice you take the romantic package !! It comes with a 2h30 pampering at the spa that finished with them washing your hair, outside, on an antique chair, WOW ! Kadet at the spa is amazing, Khrischna our waiter was so nice loving and caring like the rest of the staff. Kelly, the hotel manager was there for us if you need her and made sure our stay was perfect! The only thing, and i told it to Kelly is that there internet site does not show how great this place is!!! I want to go back !!!!!!!! "

MesaStila: "Amazing gem in Central Java"

Review by: Helen M | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We found this gem by pure chance and it lived up to all the reviews we found. It has gorgeous surrounds and so many activities. We had 4 families get away for the long weekend and there was something for everyone. Ask for a room with the mountain view, it will accommodate a family of 4-5 easily. We hired a bus which took us to a waterfall for the afternoon which I highly recommend. The staff are incredibly helpful and will sort out any of your requests. The spa is excellent and the walk through the coffee plantation and rice fields are so wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer. "
