The Cabochon Hotel: "Wonderful experience"

A great hideaway just off Sukhumvit with a beautifully curated experience full of curiosities, each room filled for a quiet browse. The things you discover. A step back into a indochin residence, sit back, with a cocktail or two, turn off the phone and relax before you venture out. Great warm and welcoming service, thank you. Very easy to recommend.

David’s Kitchen: "INCREDIBLE"

The experience and food at this restaurant was one of my top highlights in my Southeast Asia trip. David is the most friendly, attentive restaurant owner I've ever met. The food was incredible - I still dream of the gnocchi and pumpkin soup. The service is unmatched. We were greeted with a sign for our table, a rose, and a personal email from David later that night. Most romantic, delicious food - must go!

Samanea Beach Resort: "Great place"

The pier is the star attraction, best place in Kep to experience sunset and because of the small amount of rooms available the resort is never crowded, there are always available beds around the pool. All in all affording a feeling of exclusivity rarely experienced at larger resorts.

TIGER MOUNTAIN POKHARA LODGE: "One of my favourite places on Earth"

"We arrived to grey weather and the welcome was as warm as ever! Every single one of the staff here are smiling and welcoming, they treat you like very special guests and the service is wonderful! The chalets each have 2 rooms, so very private...the ""wake ip call"" come with a person serving you tea or coffee as ordered the night before...today was early because the mountains"" are here""... So in order to enjoy the view you get up really early, it is worth it! The food here is scrumptious, be it Nepali or western...one tends to indulge... "

INLE PRINCESS RESORT: "what a wonderful place"

"The Hotel is Magic. We were picked up by a boat and slowly brought into this paradise. The room was fantastic, the Food and Drinks to match. We were so happy there that we decided to Skip a few temples to be able to enjoy this resort. The sunset on the terrace with a drink is fabulous. "

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Amazing Experience"

"This hotel gives the best experience during our April 2017 Kalaw-Inlay vacation. We ( husband and daughter ) stayed here for only 1 night and my 11 years old daughter request me to plan a 3 days stay next time :) Staff are very friendly and professional , especially on our arrival , Thant Zin welcome us with the warm and genuine smile and touring around hotel. Throughout the stay we experienced the hospitality of all. The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We had dinner & breakfast there, we were so content with the oven fresh breads and croissant and the quality of the food. All in all , we were so happy and surely will come back again with all family members. My love of nature is completed by the surroundings , mini organic farms, aquarium , authentic Burmese cat village, birds chipping around the hotel . Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Et si c’était le paradis"

"Au sein du superbe lac Inlé, cet hôtel est plein de charme. Composé de seulement 6 spacieux bungalows sur pilotis meublés avec raffinement, c'est un endroit où l'on doit séjourner si l'on va dans la région. Le bruit des pirogues n'est absolument pas gênant puisque les bungalows ne donnent pas sur le canal principal. Le personnel, jeune et très nombreux (il s'agit d'une école hôtelière), est d'une gentillesse extrême, toujours aux petits soins. Le restaurant sert une excellente cuisine birmane élaborée avec les légumes cultivés sur les jardins flottants qui relient les différents bungalows. Avec mon épouse, nous y retournerions volontiers. The Cabochon Hotel: "Boutique hotel in the middle of Bangkok"

Bangkok is filled with excellent five star international hotels. Here's something completely different. Small, boutique tucked away in a small Soi off Sukhumvit. The service levels are warm friendly with a touch of classic Thai friendliness. The hotel is only 5 years old but has been created for yesteryear. Food is lovely and the atmosphere unique.

The Island Lodge: "Wow"

"We started our day with a jolt. We had asked for a bicycle tour in the Mekong area, and started on 1A, one of the busiest roads in Vietnam. That lasted about an hour, and we almost died several times from close encounters with scooters, trucks and the like. This is not what we had signed up for. After that, to end the day at The Island Lodge was like a bit of Heaven. The hotel was small, unexpected, welcoming and a haven of calm. I don't get the rating systems. This hotel is rated three star. I would rate it much higher. The next day we stayed at a three star in Vinh Long. What a dump that was. Going from Heaven to Hell. And kudos to owner Michel. We like wine with our meals. Good and reasonably priced wine is hard to find in Asia. Leave it to a Frenchman like Michel to have an excellent house wine that is both good tasting and reasonably priced. And the meals were very very good. We only stayed one night. We wanted to stay more (you have no idea; near death experiences engender an appreciation for the finer things in life) and will be back. If you have the opportunity, do stay here. Rachamankha: "Charming hotel"

Rachamankha is a charming hotel with a friendly knowledgable staff and excellent service. The ensuite rooms are well appointed with lovely antiques, are air conditioned and the bathrooms have plenty of hot water. There is also an excellent restaurant that serves Thai and western fare. The hotel has a great pool which is wonderful after a hot day of sightseeing. The hotel is also an easy walk to the Sunday night market. If you are coming to Chiangmai I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
