Cuca: "Wow adventure"
It's a really amazing restaurant set up with open kitchen. All the chef is working in a very systemic way and you cannot imagine how clean the kitchen is.The service is excellent and the food is very outstanding. You vision, taste and smell has been all taken care. The food is tasty and placed like a artwork. We have tried the chef tasting meal which you can experience 9 different course. Every dishes was impressed and the chef will explain the dish to you one by one. The main chef Kevin will even approach and talk to you personally about the experience. It's a must visit restaurant in Bali.Manda De Laos: "An excellent dinner"
This is a charming venue with really stunning views over the beautiful lit ponds. Very helpful staff and we all has excellent food. The tamarind duck was excellent along with the mushrooms, vegetables and rice.Mathis Retreat: "Beautiful hotel and surroundings. The staff is charming, the rooms are very confortable and the pool is great"
"The hotel is 15 minutes from the center of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields. It has a wonderful swimming pool, a great restaurant and the staff is very friendly. The attention to detail is impressive. The rooms are large, the beds very confortable, great linen, very good air conditioning ( an important item in this warm and humid climate), fast WiFi We stayed for some days at the beginning of our trip to Indonesia, and returned for more before going home. Highly recommended"Locavore: "A must try journey for your taste bud"
OMG!!!!! No words to describe this resturant... the only resturant in Indonesia to be in top 50 Asian resturant.. enough said.. word of warning dinner reservation at least 1 month in advance... but the experience on ur taste buds... so totally worth it.. only set course available.... extremely friendly staff, top notch service.. as an Indonesian, so proud of them :) :) keep it up :)Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Glorious in every way"
"Well, probably our sixth review of this place over past 10 years and it continues to amaze us, and is better each time. You know already what this place offers, so briefly this time a huge pat on the back for every member of staff; and a warm embrace for Alex who continues to plough his own yoga furrow, teaches beautifully and cocks a snook at modern middle class yoga cultists! Go, before places like this become inaccessible or even slightly over developed. It remains unique. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Sandat Glamping Tents: "Special place to stay"
"This place really lives up to the Glamorous-Camping expectation. The resort stands out beautifully in the sea of rice fields. Once inside, the decor is stunning. Room are very comfortable but still manages to make you feel like part of nature. Bed and pillows were a bit hard but turned out to be just as comfortable in the end. Breakfast was good but limited. Understandable that they do not provide a big buffet spread as the resort only has 8-9 villas. Service is exceptional. Staff really pamper you and go out of their way to make your stay better. Made (from front office) helped to research for places to watch kecak dance around ubud town when I mentioned that I was interested. Special mention also goes out to the drivers Buda Yaso and the older one with a moustache (sorry I didn't get your name). The resort owner Frederick was also attentive and friendly, yet gave us our personal space. Truly a recommended place to stay if you are looking for a special holiday."Maison Polanka: "Charming and eclectic with a wonderful staff"
Wonderful, charming tiny little hotel in a perfect location between the ruins and the main town. We could not have imagined a more perfect place to stay during our visit to Cambodia. The rooms are more like staying in someone's (very nicely decorated) house than being in a commercial hotel, and the food and service were excellent. On the last night of our stay our room had a minor problem with the air conditioning, and the hotel moved us to a nicer room without us even asking so that the problem would be cleanly resolved when we returned from dinner. There are bikes available to ride, you can walk from the hotel to an e-bike rental place, and they also provided free transport to nearby restaurants when possible or you could pay $2 for a Tuk tuk. Highly recommended.Reverie Siam: "Lovely food and great prices"
Highly reviewed restaurant. Silhouette at the hotel we thought we would go for a nice date night we had four drinks a started and 2 mains all for 1000 THB approx £25. Great prices for the food and atmosphere and service.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Absolute Bliss"
"We stayed for two nights at the end of our Cambodia trip and it was the perfect place to chill out completely before our epic 36 hour journey home!! As we approached the lodges I couldn't believe how beautiful the setting was its far more beautiful to your own eyes than any of the photos show. We had a lovely welcome and got all the information we needed for our stay and I couldn't wait to get to our tent. We were in West 4 ( there are six tents on each side so we had pretty views from both sides of our balcony ) The interior of the tents is far bigger than I expected and I adored the bathroom :-) as mentioned in previous reviews there is no air conditioning but there is a ceiling fan and two stand alone fans and the room was way cooler than I had expected it to be. Each lodge has a private deck with table and chairs and two sunbeds and we decided that as our time was short we would just spend it relaxing so thats what we did one perfect day internet free just lazing around. One of the staff visit in the afternoon to show you the dinner menu there is set soup then starter and dessert and three choices of main its very good value at $25 per person but there is also an a la carte menu if you prefer that. The food was lovely very nicely presented and the waiting staff were so nice in fact shout out to all staff they were without exception lovely smiling people :-) Breakfast was also very nice esp the homemade pineapple jam and the smiley pancakes :-) oh and the bacon so good :-) I loved the water glasses made out of wine bottles in the tents so enquired if I could buy one they only had one left with a picture of a pangolin on it I had never heard of this animal and one of the staff ( sorry I cant remember his name ) took time to tell me all about this endangered creature . I will be dreaming of 4 rivers everytime I use it :-) Best wishes to you all for continued success and who knows we may return one day and if we do we will stay longer :-)"Villa Song Saigon: "very satisfied customer"
This is a great place to stay if you like being treated like royalty. The staff is all fabulous, the room was very comfortable, and the food and drinks were exceptional. The chef came out to greet us personally and discuss meal options. Convenient boat shuttle to downtown Ho Chi Minh City.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
