David’s Kitchen: "King David"

Review by: Donnajill | Source: Trip Advisor
David, The first of many best parts of our visit was your warm greeting. Hospitality at its finest. Then the delectable dishes of magnificently presented food. as a good as it gets. Please come to Chicago & make that pumpkin soup. Each course surpassed the next. I too would partner for life with a woman who could create that chocolate mousse. Kudos to your staff. The grand finale, a man proposed to a woman on Chinese Valentines Day. Cue the applause & thank god she said yes.

Rachamankha: "The best place to stay in Chiangmai"

Review by: Kevin_One_Man_Show | Source: Trip Advisor
"This must be my 8 or 9th visit to rachamnkha. It is such a great place to stay. The manager, Paul, is without doubt one of the best hoteliers I have ever met. And the praise doesn't stop with him. The staff are 2nd to none. The rooms are excellent, and the garden setting that the hotel is situated in is an oasis in the city. The breakfast is the best I have ever encountered in many years of travelling, and the lunch and dinner do not disappoint. If you are staying in Chang Mai, stay here. If you are not staying in Chiang Mai , then change your plans and stay here. It's worth the trip. Without doubt, and pound for pound, is the best place you will ever stay in Thailand. "

Tandjung Sari: "The Tandjung Sari – Beautiful Visit . . . Again!"

Review by: KingBedB | Source: tripadvisor.com
I stayed here about 30 years ago. The Tandjung Sari has lost none of its charm. I came back with my wife and we had had such an enjoyable time. Of course everything around the Tandjung Sari has changed, but this place is pretty much as I remember it, which is a good thing. Staff is friendly and professional. The food is excellent. Breakfast near the pool is pleasant. Several choices and it is part of your room rate. The bar on the beach still serves amazing cocktails. The rooms were spacious and I enjoyed the outdoor shower. They have great entertainment on the weekend too. This is not an inexpensive place to stay, but it is well worth a few dollars more! I cannot wait to go back again. Hopefully it will not be another 30 years!

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Amazing"

Review by: barryswain75 | Source: Trip Advisor
Tiger Mountain Lodge is amazing. Though access may be slightly problematic for the less agile such as myself, any efforts are certainly worthwhile. My room (7) had breathtaking views over the mountains and (very kindly ) the weather Gods lifted the clouds enabling the magnificent scene to unfold. Though this reality was obviously outside the control of the lodge management , the friendly and efficient care that was delivered throughout the stay at the lodge. My food requirements are unusual to say the least, but an understanding staff managed to accommodate those peculiarities very efficiently. All aspect of care lived up to or exceeded expectations and Grateful thanks are due to a very efficient team.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Disconnect from tech reconnect with nature"

Review by: JohnLBath | Source: Trip Advisor
"So shock horror no WiFi. Fantastic! You are properly able to relax but make sure you download any books before you go. No aircon but very good fans in the tented rooms. There are tents floating on a pontoon on the river. All the tents were well appointed and you could go for a swim from the decking around the tent. Good range of activities eg kayaking, a fantastic trip to a set of waterfalls that you can swim in, and a reasonably vigorous set of walks from an 90 mins to all day if very keen and fit. It’s in a beautiful setting and trying hard and succeeding to change lives and attitudes of local villagers. Some opportunities to see wildlife eg hornbills, ospreys etc. Liked its isolation"

Villa Song Saigon: "Great location, fantastic food"

Review by: michiel g | Source: Trip Advisor
"Nice boutique hotel with nice rooms and in a quiet neighbourhood. 30 minutes from city center and 40 minutes from airport. Taxi to city around 150,000 VND. Great spot at the Saigon river with an excellent restaurant. The staff is very dedicated and service minded! The food was excellent and we had dinner there every evening. The breakfast is a la carte which is great as it has more standing than a buffet. Swimming pool excellent with nice beds. Fitness room nice and clean. However, they should add a bicycle as that is missing. Two items for improvement 1) is that the beds are relatively small for large people and 2) the neighbours were relatively noisy early in the morning one day. Overall strong recommendation with an excellent rating!"

Jing’s Residence: "Magical"

Beautiful hotel. Great food and service and amenities with the exception that there is no television and internet is slow. Property was impeccably restored and the staff is very helpful and courteous.

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A M A Z I N G"

Review by: Theodorides Y | Source: Trip Advisor
"You are looking at a small resort with bungalows for rooms. Do not expect large hotel amenities but nothing will turn you off either. Its a hidden gem that offers exquisite luxury and privacy for those who seek just that. We visited the hotel for our honeymoon between 28 of December and 4 of January. We avoided the raining season but do expect some heavy rain that usually lasts between 10-30 minutes. Don't forget that these are the tropics. We choose a private pool villa and luckily we got one that had an ocean view. Since day one the staff was the best staff ever. Room was very clean and was maintained daily as well as towels.Tum (the staff manager I think) was always present for anything we requested, we owe him a praise. Staff added water and citronella in a candle evaporator so to drive away mosquitos that worked really well. The hotel is 10 minutes maximum by taxi from Chaweng beach which is a large tourist area where you can get any nightlife, any beach action or any restaurant you seek to spend the day. The hotel beach is not ideal for swimming because its a bit rocky but the infinity pool makes up for it. We booked half board and we never left the hotel. The restaurant food is very good and has a lot of options, breakfast as well. Prices are very decent and the barbecue days are the best. Our room did not get any Wifi signal at all which wasn't a problem for us since that kept us off our phones and might be a problem for some, but the reception at the restaurant was excellent and fast. There is a 7 Eleven within 5 minutes walk where someone can buy anything even cheaper. Buy a mosquito spray repellant from there, it is offered in the room but it is more expensive. Overall we had a dreamy honeymoon that we wouldn't change it for anything else. Thank you Sea Dance Resort. Room Tip: If you want WiFi then ask for room close to restaurant."

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Paradise on earth in God’s own country!"

Review by: shirishnv | Source: tripadvisor.com
This was our 2nd visit to Neeleshwar Hermitage but this time with our extended family of 15 with the oldest being 79 yrs & the youngest 9 yrs. Neeleshwar has still maintained the high standards it has set for itself. We had the whole resort for ourselves as there was no one else the 1st 2 days. Located on the beach in the Arabian Sea, this resort is an ideal place for a quiet holiday with all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & a big thanks to Jayan & his team for making our holiday that much more relaxing. Will definitely come back.

Tugu Bali: "Luxury By The Beach In The Heart of Canggu"

Review by: Becky_vanDijk | Source: Trip Advisor
"The history of Hotel Tugu is a great story! Some time ago a poor student took a trip with a professor to Canggu and at sunset met with a stranger who gave the professor a Cupu Manik, a 16th century stone bowl of three parts from which was used by a priest to sprinkle holy healing water over sick villagers. The Cupu Manik was of priceless cultural value and inspired the students deep and lasting love of Indonesian antiquities and history. Several years later, the poor student had become a professional antiquarian and continued to search for the Cupu Manik to own for himself. Eventually he found the precious artefact which is now housed at Hotel Tugu. The student is the founder of Tugu Hotels, Exotic Spas and Restaurants, and these hotels now house his large collection of Indonesian art and antiques. A trip to Hotel Tugu is truly a step back in time! THE ROOMS There are 22 rooms, 19 of which are suites, 2 one bedroom villas and 1 two bedroom villas. The suites are large, with a living area, bedroom, separate shower room and the best bit, the bathtub which has a huge room all for itself looking out to the gardens and the ocean! If you treating yourself or this is a special occasion you may want to opt for the luxurious Puri Le Mayeur villa, a spacious single story villa overlooking the stunning lotus pond. The villa celebrates the eternal love between the famous Belgian artist, Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merprès and Ni Polok, his muse and his wife. The second incredible villa option is the Walter Spies Pavilion, designed with the art deco era of Java in the early 20thcentury in mind. This room is dedicated to German poet and artist Walter Spies, an influential German musician and painter who made Indonesia his home. SPA TREATMENTS I was treated to a 'Purnama & Tilem Massage' Energy of the Bali Moon, during my stay at Tugu and I can honestly (yes, really) say this was the best massage I have ever had. Not just because of the massage itself, but at Tugu they take the care to the make the treatments a unique experience. My therapist, Widia, greeted me and explained that before the massage we would walk down to the beach where we would wash our feet and place an offering for the gods. At the end of the massage we would do place a second offering at the hotels temple. Its hard to explain why, but there was something extremely relaxing, just going through these spiritual rituals that you almost don't even need the treatment! But of course, I had it! The massage itself is essentially a traditional Balinese massage that lasts for over an hour and is in the outdoor spa area, so you can drift off whilst listening to the sounds of the ocean. FOOD & DRINK Breakfast and Afternoon Tea is included in your stay at the hotel. For Breakfast you can take this in your room, outside in the courtyards by the pool or in the open plan dining area. There are several delicious breakfast options to choose from, each coming with fresh fruit juices and fresh fruits. In the afternoon, between 4 and 6pm, you can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea with an array of delicious cakes and treats. Make sure you get back from any surfing or sightseeing during the day in time to enjoy this! And for the evening you can dine at the hotels stunning restaurant, and enjoy cocktails upstairs at the bar overlooking the streets of Canggu. Tugu offers a range of traditional dining experiences that can be enjoyed in a variety of private nooks around the hotel. Becky van Dijk BeckyvanDijk.com Travel"
