"If there is only one restaurant you can go to while you are in KL, then make it this one! I don't usually gush lyrical, but here is a young chef who combines well rehearsed classical technique with inventiveness and an open mind. Added to this is a philosophy that is not floridly wordy, but very much bound to the earth and to his own family traditions. Chef Darren sources his ingredients locally and lets his family recipes be part of his inspiration. So what should you expect? Beautifully prepared dishes with a distinct, sometimes subtle, sometimes strong local flavour, lots of freshness and a little playful fun. "One of the most beautiful places we have been ever. It s worth the price. Absolutely lovely bungalows, huge room, amazing bathroom with a nice external shower (option we chose), spotless clean, fruits every day and they prepare your room each night before sleeping time. Luxury and discretion. The food is the best we had in restaurants in Myanmar and we were lucky to chose the cooking lesson at local family since we could get some recipes and have a authentically nice experience with locals. We had some massages: excellent ! In the middle of Bangkok we found this stylish Hotel in an old Colonial style Building. The staff was very friendly and after running around in Bangkok the Swimmingpool on the rooftop was a blessing. The room was huge and the furniture very stylish like the Hotel. A must stay for people who like to be in the middle of this city and want to enjoy the amenities of a quite Boutique Hotel. A lot of good Bars and Restaurants are just around the corner.Flower Island: "Amazing place"
My boyfriend and I stayed here with two friends for 4 days and it was undoubtedly the most wonderful part of our trip to the Philippines! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the island itself is like paradise. We did some fantastic activities too - a tour of a pearl farm (which was fascinating), snorkelling trips, paddleboarding.. And we saw turtles just off the house beach. The huts are beautiful too and all look out to sea. Truely wonderful - we'd recommend this to anyone either as part of an active holiday or looking to chill out for a few days.The Island Lodge: "Lovely boutique resort that focus on the little details"
We stayed four nights here and very much enjoyed the place. The hotel welcomed us with scented moist towels, fresh juice and a snack. We were ushered into a good sized room with thoughtful touches like a good coffee machine, various toiletries and snacks. The hosts, Michel and Francoise, are kind and attentive as are the staff. The food was tasty and well presented and the small spa was also good. We definitely recommend this hotel.Sukoon Houseboat: "One of my best experience. You guys rock!"
"So we were in Sukoon from 26th Sep to 28th September. Let me put down my experience point wise. 1) warm Welcome with lovely faces. 2) prompt and courteous staff 3) fresh and tasty food 4) spacious and clean rooms 5) authentic Kashmiri wazaaan. Do try the saffron rice. 6) beautiful view of the dal lake 7) kid friendly I will highly recommend this particular houseboat. The experience is one of its kind. "In 2014 we visited Reverie Siam just after they opened for one glass of wine ... and promised ourselves we'd come back to stay one day. So this holiday, we stayed there for just one night as a special treat on our holiday and it was even more wonderful than we thought it would be! The room (we were upgraded from a standard room to a villa at no extra cost) was stunning. The bathtub is literally bigger than our entire bathroom at home! The service was exceptional ... especially considering our grubby backpacker aesthetic. If you're looking for a treat, a retreat into another world - I recommend a stay here!"
