Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "A fab place to hang boots and watch the change of light across mountains…."

Review by: Katherine K | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a truly wonderful place to arrive at after a week of trekking (with sometimes hilarious hospitality conditions!). Or indeed just to arrive at after the hurly burly of Kathmandu! Marcus oversees a superb hotel with glorious views, beautiful lodge-style rooms and simple home-cooking. It is with some reluctance that I left, and to my disappointment now back home, there is no thoughtfully placed hot water bottle in bed at the end of the day, or mosquito net drawn to envelop me and my dreams.

Villa Song Saigon: "Great stay– lived up to the hype"

Review by: Maggie Y | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were happy to leave our original hotel in district one and book a last minute two nights at Villa Song. The area has a few great spots for eating and shopping (Dolphy for coffee and Banh Mi 362). It's about a 20 minute walk into the heart of things but we really enjoyed the scenery and slower place of things. It was a really nice contrast from district one and the tourist zone. The hotel is beautiful, on a river, and the boat ride is a great alternative to viewing the rapidly expanding city of Saigon. The cab ride back home later at night was $7-8. Easy! We'd head in on the 11:30 AM boat, do touristy stuff, take a later boat back to the hotel, and then go back out later on the 6 pm boat and cab back to the hotel later. It was not too inconvenient and it was very worth it to not feel the stress of getting run over by a motorbike for a solid few hours. Also, the pool! So much more serene, private and clean than the rooftop pools in HCMC. Also, there are only 23 rooms in the hotel, so you're not fighting for pool space. The service was fantastic, as was the food. Vietnamese breakfast options were the bomb. We loved the braised beef and egg noodle soup and the chicken congee. Great fresh squeezed OJ. Stay here!"

Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing property"

Review by: BTChevalier | Source: Trip Advisor
Probably the most beautiful property we have been lucky to stay in Myanmar. Rooms are amazing, very spacious and functional. This is perfectly quiet, and for sure you will enjoy your stay if you are looking to relax and chill. Food was delicious, from breakfast to dinner; service was impeccable. Corporate Social Responsibility is taken seriously at the Inle Princess Resort - like we've never seen in any other hotel in the world. Meeting Misuu, the owner, was a real luck to better understand the challenge of taking care of Myanmar and Inle Lake heritage: sincerely one of the best stay EVER we had. We will be back FOR SURE!

Villa Song: "Boutique hotel, away from busy city"

Review by: Erika F | Source: Trip Advisor
If you are coming to Ho Chi Minh and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, then this is the place to stay. The Villa Song Saigon is a very boutique-like hotel nestled in the ex-pat district of Ho Chi Minh. We immediately sensed we were in the nicer area of town, as gated estates filled the street. Although it is a longer taxi ride to get into town, the hotel does offer a complimentary boat shuttle into the city center. This ride takes about 15 minutes. The hotel rooms are very clean and breakfast is complimentary. They added a special touch by providing us a honeymoon cake. The staff was very friendly and we highly enjoyed our stay.

Sandat Glamping Tents: "A truly magical place"

Review by: Boracco | Source: Trip Advisor
"Ubud and its surroundings are full of Swanky five star hotels and retreats but if you want to experience something truly magical head to Sandat, you won't regret it! Set amid the rice fields this quixotic resort that defies definitions is truly stunning: you'll be able to choose among some luxury tents (more on this later) or three of the lumbungs, traditional Balinese rice barns that have been conceived as spacious apartments. We stayed in one of the tents, actually a lovely structure built with high tech materials that will just about separate you from the adjacent rice field and the forest in front of you. I always hated camping and this is nothing like that: you'll find yourself in a five star room with all amenities and comforts (wooden floors, stylish furniture, comfy bed), don't be put off if, like me, camping is not for you! Every tent has its own private plunge pool and sun chairs. At all time you are far away from indiscreet eyes and the staff will always announce their presence before coming anywhere near your place. Mind that this is also an eco resort and they made the conscious decision not to have aircon (yet the tent was very fresh) or television (but wifi and plenty of books and magazines are available). Longest review I've ever posted on tripadvisor, yet it's not over. (...)Enjoy the tropical garden and be amazed to find out that all the lush plants are just two years old. What else can I say? If you don't mind spending the extra dollar and you are looking for a true memory then Sandat is the ideal place for you!"

Mathis Retreat: "Lovely boutique hotel – perfect hideaway"

Review by: Sylviaswau | Source: Trip Advisor
"I stayed here for a week and I miss it everyday! For the first part of the week, it was me and a girlfriend who came to Ubud to get away from the city, do a little exploring and do some yoga. We weren't sure if we wanted to stay in Ubud the whole time or go somewhere else in Bali, but after two nights, we extended our stay. One of our favourite things was having breakfast looking at out the private rice fields every morning, it was so relaxing. The pool had the perfect view. The hotel had a really good balance between a tranquil relaxed vibe, without being sleepy, and had some really good tunes throughout the day by the pool too (I ended up asking them for their playlist). The hotel was just a 10 minute scooter ride into town, which meant everything was really accessible without it being crazy all the time. My friend ended up going home early and I stayed on for an extra 2 days. The staff took such good care of me. And as a solo female traveler, safety is extremely important. They was so lovely and even taught me some Indonesian. The GM was super lovely and very hands on, she would come by and chat with the guests, without being intrusive. It was such a wonderful trip and the hotel was a huge part of it. Seriously, great rooms, great resto (really good food!), great view and great staff. I would definitely come back!"

Villa Mathis: "Un hôtel unique"

Review by: ELODIE v | Source: Trip Advisor
Elodie"

Tandjung Sari: "best place in Sanur"

Review by: Vleestomaat | Source: tripadvisor.com
"All the positive reviews are true. This is a very nice hotel. We had two large connecting rooms. Lots of privacy. The pool and the dining area is beautiful. The breakfast is amazing (beware for additional kilograms). OK, it is rather expensive, but comparing with other hotels next door (we stayed earlier in Respari and Taverna as well), it is worth it. The spot on the beach is great. Lots of restaurants and activity, while remaining the relaxed Sanur."

Villa Mathis: "Absolument sublime"

Review by: Shadé D | Source: Trip Advisor

Reverie Siam Pai: "Perfect step back in time with modern amenities"

Review by: Emily L | Source: Trip Advisor
INCREDIBLE. Mountain view room which I thought was wonderful. The room itself is stunning. French doors, decorated just right, huge bathroom with free standing tub. Overall the hotel pulls off it's 'colonial, 20s' vibe just right. ITs not overdone, it's just right. Felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland at times which was so fun. Both pools are great, staff super nice and was gushing over the place the whole time. Didn't want to leave.
