Sea Dance Resort: "Our Happy Place in Thailand!"
"Thank you again Poy and your incredible team for welcoming us back with open arms and making us feel like family! A New Years Eve to remember! We where one of your first visitors 3 odd years ago and had no doubt in choosing to stay at Sea Dance again this visit even though there where a 1000 other places to perhaps try! We are still in Thailand, and at our third stop after Sea Dance! Although the venues we have chosen are visually beautiful, none have made us feel as welcome and special as you all did, at Sea Dance! It is really home away from home! We are so proud to see your beautiful resort mature and blossom and get all the awards you are truly due! Our only regret was that we only booked 7 days it went by too quickly! Can't wait to visit again! Hugs to you all! Lisa and Vaughan."The River Resort: "Paradise at the Mekong Riverside!"
This resort located nearby to Mekong River. We took a long tailed boat and go to this resort via river, instead of main road. This is a PARADISE, away from busy city and noise. The rooms are great, with nice interior design, overseen the river. The hotel offers 2 options of breakfast per person per day. It is a very relaxing experience to stay here, with surrounded by paddy field in the hotel garden.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Some people’s idea of heaven"
"We got ill on our way to this hotel so we weren't in good shape when we arrived, and we spent our two nights here recovering. It was a great place to do this - the room was beautiful and enormously comfortable and it was all very peaceful and quiet. The staff were very kind and attentive and we are very grateful to them. This is the kind of place that many (British) people would think was heaven - on the sea, very quiet, a little bubble of perfect bliss - a kind of honeymoon place. If this is what you like, the place should have six stars. But we aren't so fond of that kind of place - we prefer staying in places with domestic as well as foreign tourists and which are a little bit more lively. In summary, the property promises peace and quiet and that's what it delivers in spades - it's our problem and not the hotel's that it's not entirely our thing. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Villa Song Saigon: "Is Villa Song as good as before"
We visited Villa Song in May 2015. Our review was a bit gushing but accurate. We finally made it back for our second visit hoping it would be as good.......it is better. If you were to write a handbook as to how to run a 5 Star boutique hotel, start with Villa Song. Nothing is left to chance. The staff are professional, friendly, efficient and so happy. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable. The pool and public areas are excellent. The restaurant puts out superb, beautifully presented food created by Chef Kevin and his brigade - you won't get bored with his brilliant and evolving menu. A guest asked for a drink from the bar that the bar staff were not familiar with. My wife told them the ingredience but before they gave it to the guest, they mixed two and brought them to our room to see which was better before mixing it for their guest.....service? I could go on and on about the hotel. In my first review I said that they treat you like an honored guest. This time we felt like friends. Who knows - next time we may be treated like family and have to make our bed and wash our own dishes...we will still be back as soon as we can. 'Our Second Home'Rahai’i Pangun: "4 day / 3 night orang utan Boat trip"
"The boat was absoletly comfortable, the crew was very friendly, the guide very helpful and the food on board great. Go for 3d/2 night trip if you are in hurry and for a 4d/3night trip if you want to excplore everthing at a very leisure pace."The Hue House: "The huê"
"Stayed three nights in a villa and absolutely loved it. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the entire resort is just so peaceful. The riverside bar is stunning and serene, and the cocktails and wine list are excellent and well priced. The villa was lovely, done in a colonial style with a private outdoor patio, bathroom with glass ceiling and walls and a large jacuzzi, comfortable beds with high quality linen, to and DVD player, and basically anything else you could need. Staff were friendly and efficient. The included breakfast was of a very high standard and you could choose two meals cooked to order each morning. There is a free tuk tuk into town on demand which was useful for going in for the night markets etc. Despite being the most expensive place in town, it is not expensive by western standards and represents very good value. My only suggestions for improvement would be to allow food by the pool, and perhaps to even develop a poolside snack menu, so that people can enjoy some fries or another snack by the pool with their beers and cocktails! Also the food at the restaurant, whilst delicious, often came at different times to my dining partner whilst it should have been served together. These are minor points however and I would recommend this place to anyone, and will undoubtedly return next time I am in Thailand, as I have never found a resort as relaxing and peaceful as this before. Stayed February 2017"Manda De Laos: "Tasty of Lao Royal Authentic cuisine with nature view of Heritage Lotus Pond"
The food at Manda de Laos was super great and amazing, nice ambiance with friendly service by lovely staffs at the restaurant. I think the price is suitable on what you get. If I have chance to visit Luang Prabang, I definitely go back to this place. Lastly, I love banana ice cream :)The Village House: "Fine Dining experience in a village life… Interesting"
"My 2nd visit to this resort since my last year stayed. This time was a bit different experience compared my previous because it's happened to be the yearly Rainforest World Music Festival 2016. It's full house and my 1st experience to stay in a dormitory style. Very clean and just nice with 6 beds in a room. I would categorize this as luxury dormitory style. For those who are planning to come for this yearly event, I would suggest you to stay around Santubong area where it easy for you to access to RWMF2016. The Village has taken over everything for their guests, hassle free during my stays here. To my surprised, our breakfast, dinner and supper are included during this period of time in one price. The most impressed was the 4 courses fine dining dinner set. Awesome!... The only downside of my stays here are the foods quality has dropped especially during breakfast time. Our ordered has taken wrongly and we were rushing to check out. Overall the foods are bit too salty. I can understand because of this festive has keeping the staffs so busy and tired but really need to maintain it quality. I will still come back again but not during any festive period."Jing’s Residence: "Made a big mistake only staying one night"
This place was utterly amazing! My family and I stayed here for a quick stop on our way back from Xian to Beijing. We made a big mistake not staying here longer and we will definitely come back for a longer stay. The service staff anticipated every needs we had even escorting my wife to a store to buy some local dates they served. They even helped us bargain a price. After feeling ripped off by the local taxi getting there, they arranged for their hotel van to take us back to the train station. My favorite part was sitting in the courtyard at night and taking in the nice quiet atmosphere.
