David’s Kitchen: "Outstanding Experience and Service"
"We have never been to a restaurant that sent a car to collect us, whose owner introduced himself, e-mailed us the next day and sent a car to take us back to the hotel. The food itself was superb, modern European with an asian twist which was ambitious without being over pretentious. An interesting and good value wine list. Very tasteful setting with excellent interior design which was fresh and light. We liked the crisp appearance of the attentive and friendly staff. The set menu was good value. They managed a gluten free requirement with no fuss"The Apsara Rive Droite: "Highly recommend"
Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights in total, 2 and 3 nights on either side of a tour. We loved this hotel. Mr Hann was exceedingly helpful and all the staff were really friendly. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel during our tour. We had very efficient airport transfers. We felt like we were staying in our own private house, it was very peaceful. The pool is a great size. We liked the location on the other side of the river. The little boat is always at the ready to transfer across, which adds to the charm of the hotel. Our room was a great size, with a large balcony overlooking the river. It has all amenities including bath robes and mosquito repellant. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order. We used the hotel bikes a couple of times which was a great way to see the town. I got up early to see the monks seeking alms and was the only tourist watching (from a respectful distance!) as they passed by the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.Supanniga Eating Room: "Our favourite Thai restaurant in Bangkok . Really tasty..great décor"
"At the Supanniga Eating room we experience the flavours of Thailand..real provincial Thai food from the different regions..especially the eastern regions. The decor is exciting..and very cutting edge..exposed brick..huge smoky glass mirror..and it signature colours of shades of yellow...Exciting wall mural of cotton reels with yellows..i would have added a few more tropical plants.. Service is efficient, friendly and brisk..we did not have to wait long for these freshly prepared dishes..with friends one can order a range of food..my favourites this time..and I have been serval times..a salad of lemon grass and shrimps, omelette..and this amazing fish soufflé with a banana leaf wrapping ...Comfortable hip place with great tasty food..prices for the quality..reasonable..always full so booking is essential. A little touch..i loved the hand soap in the ladies and have been looking for it for sale in Bangkok."The Cabochon Hotel: "Hidden gem in busy Sukhumvit"
For a drink, a dinner or to stay few nights. Secluded colonial house very well decorated with a mix of Asian and European antics. Lovely feeling to be out of time in the middle of Sukhumvit. Drinks and food are great.David’s Kitchen: "Simply The Best in Chiang Mai"
"Its difficult to add to the already outstanding reviews of this restaurant. But I shall try: David has obviously devoted his life to this project and it is for him a lot more than a business. The menu has so many interesting, original dishes that it took us a while to even make a choice. Everything we chose was cooked to perfection, including the prawn ravioli in lobster sauce and the gnocchi with mushroom cream. Ultimately, what makes any restaurant special is not just the food but the entire experience; the ambience (smart but refreshingly relaxed), decor, staff attitude, efficiency, etc.. This is where David's kitchen excels because the attention to detail is apparent in every aspect. His passion for this restaurant is infectious. You can feel it when you chat to him, on the radiant faces of his staff and in the excellent reviews written by numerous customers. The prices are higher than average for Chiang Mai but this establishment is unique in this city and represents excellent value. A restaurant of this calibre would cost much more in Europe or the US. My daughter chose to celebrate her 18th birthday here. Thank you to David and his team for making it such a memorable evening for us. Highly recommended without hesitation."Cuca: "Gastronomic delight"
A womderful find in Bali nestled in a beautiful setting. The food is brilliant and service is excellent. Its mostly sharing/tapas styled food with a twist. Sophisticated dining in a relaxed environment!tugu bali: "As Great As They Say It Is"
"Thanks to TA reviews we spent a day here that was unforgettable. Surrounded by the din of this busy area, it is an oasis of serenity and extraordinary hospitality of the staff. Get up at dawn and hear the birds on the property. It is a museum of artifacts- you need go nowhere else on Bali. We stayed in Rejang Suite with outdoor tin tub, view of water. A long way from USA but nothing like this in North America. We were given gifts when we left that were handmade. Amazing. "Villa Mathis: "La Villa Mathis is the perfect place if you’re looking for a beautifull place and outstanding service"
We stayed one week in Villa Mathis and enjoyed the outstanding service of Chris and his team. The rooms were spotless and the free shuttle to the centre of Seminyak brings you within 10 minutes to the centre. The resort is a very tranquille place and the villas and rooms are beautifull decorated. There are several swimming pools were you can enjoy the silence in the nice gardens. We will surely return here again when we visit Bali. We can highly recommend this place!Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazingly relaxing holiday"
"We stayed one week at Slow Private Pool villas and had the most amazing and relaxing time; just what we needed. The staff went out of there way to help us. Slow has the most helpful and accommodating staff. The Slow Spa is wonderful. Gili Air itself is already a perfect island getaway with a tranquil vibe and Slow Villas only enhances that feeling. Fabulous holiday! We will certainly come back."kenanga ubud: "“Beautiful hotel and surroundings. The staff is charming, the rooms are very confortable and the pool is great."
"The hotel is 15 minutes from the center of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields. It has a wonderful swimming pool, a great restaurant and the staff is very friendly. The attention to detail is impressive. The rooms are large, the beds very confortable, great linen, very good air conditioning ( an important item in this warm and humid climate), fast WiFi We stayed for some days at the beginning of our trip to Indonesia, and returned for more before going home. Highly recommended"
