We never expect to find such a refine place at the very southern tip of Belitung island. A very creative and delicate cuisine, sustainable practices to save energy or natural fogging, an attentive service, large villa with private pool, 800m of white sand beach and beautiful landscape. This hotel is one of my favourite places ever. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. (Although our home is not as luxurious!) The staff are warm, caring, attentive and interested. The grounds are immaculately cared for, and the beautiful flowers in our room every day were a wonderful touch. Every detail in the hotel and the grounds is a discovery. The welcome messages prepared for us at every meal made us feel so special. And the beach ... wow, what an awesome place to spend a holiday. The staff will make sure you have everything you want, with a smile. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I can't wait to go back!4 rivers: "Best floating paradise"
We have just left 4 rivers today and were very sad to leave. We had the most amazing time and everything about the experience was excellent. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The service is excellent. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and all facilities that you would expect on a floating camp are available. The meals offered are that of a 5 star experience, wonderful food, amazing presentation and served professionally. The day trips and guides were also fantastic. Make sure you go on the fire fly boat trip just 20mins and it's free plus you're back in time for dinner. You MUST visit this camp and experience it yourselves.Nimmu House: "Charming and excellent"
"We stayed fro one night in a tent which was extremely comfortable. The food was also good and the entire property has great ambiance and style. The room was a little noisy in the morning because its in a village and you can't really sleep in late which is also fine in ladakh. The garden and the courtyards are great to sit and relax in. I stayed at Maisons Wat Kor for three nights. The people were really nice. The room is amazingly lovely. the garden is unbelievable like a tropical forest.... The pool is something you cant miss. The rooms are perfect and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; always willing to take time out to answer a question or provide insight. The restaurant is located on the Saigon River facing due east. "Lovely break after the heat of the temples. About 4-5 hours trip by car from Phnom Penh but worth the journey From the welcome drink on arrival to the staff coming to the jetty to wave us goodbye when we left it was a great few days. Lovely staff and great food. The tents are very large and very well fitted out. (Nothing like the tents I remember from girl guiding)We had intended to go to the waterfall but it was so relaxing sitting on our deck watching the river we did not bother but everyone else really enjoyed the trip. We had a massage which was very reasonable, ask for the gentle version!!! Absolute gem in the heart of Chiang Mai. Close to everything and yet removed and peaceful. Staff was exceptionally helpful (finding rides, giving restaurant recommendations, giving directions, etc), grounds and room were spotless, beds comfortable. I cannot say enough lovely things about this spot. Breakfast was fantastic and cost was just right! I would absolutely stay here again! Close to a number of great restaurants and the ever so popular night market. A winner all around!
