The Island Lodge: "Magnifique"

Review by: Sophie M | Source: Trip Advisor
Superb hotel in colonial design with views of the Mekong, run by a charming French couple. We ended our trip to Vietnam by staying at the Island Lodge and the only regret we had is not there longer. The home is perfect with a welcome drink, the decor is sought and done with taste, rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a beautiful pool, a spa with a great massage, and a restaurant. It's very nice to meet service standards "French" after 2 weeks in the end of the Vietnam background. Congratulations to the owners who have created this beautiful jewelry.

Villa Mathis: "Une merveille"

Review by: Feiza B | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed at Villa Mathis for a week in April 2017 with my son .... it was a marvel. Everything was perfect, beautiful setting, decor, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, the tranquility of the place .... a real haven of peace and serenity. The kitchen, also a delight! I recommend the Rice Villa, simply Wonderful!

MesaStila: "One night stay, beautiful srroundings, will return"

Review by: Neilwmckay | Source: Trip Advisor
"The resort is set in beautifully landscaped grounds with views of volcanoes in every direction. They also have a small coffee plantation onsite and the coffee itself is only available in the hotel. Rooms were huge and nicely fitted out. Would loved to have stayed longer, but was following a tight itinerary through central and eastern Java. Will return for sure. "

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A place dreamed come true"

Review by: Esther-PBCN | Source: tripadvisor.com
"My first visit to this amazing place was 4 years ago and since then I have been fortunate to be back on two other occasions.  The first time was the perfect culmination of my trip to Cambodia and since that time 4 Rivers captivated me with all his charms: the environment, a unique place still intact in the country; the landscape, relaxing, lush and wonderful; the sound, of silence, peace and tranquility that surrounds it; the concept, luxury tents floating in a river in middle of the jungle; the service, attentive to every detail and need; the food, excellent and varied ... Can you ask for more? Try it, and maybe you can see the magic show of fireflies flashing in the night after an amazing nocturnal kayak ride. As I said before, I have been fortunate to be able to return more times to this awesome place and to show my best friends and family this hidden gem of Cambodia. All enjoyed the place and the lodge as I do. If you have the chance, do not doubt. Worth it. "

This Hotel is fantastic. Set in the middle of an ancient city, the hotel's design and comfort is unbelievable. Excellent food, best service, and the friendliest and happiest staff I've ever met. Loved it!

Maduzi Hotel: "Truly a gem"

Review by: Sha_Lee_Raja | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed at Maduzi for 5d4n. It was a Breeze to locate from Asok BTS. Take the airport express and stop at the station that links to Sukhumvit station. Since Sukhumvit and Asok are interchange stations, u just need to walk towards Asok and orientate from there. It's a 5 mins walk. Bear in mind that the entrance is along Ratchadaprisek Rd, main rd right at the start of Soi 16. If u look from Asok station, locate Clover hotel and walk in that direction. The minute we entered, we were greeted by a very sexy lobby, like an A&F boutique. Check in was a Breeze and we were brought to our room. The lift was equally sexy but some may find it too dark cos of the mood lighting. Our room was on Level A, with M being the topmost. The floors are numbered M A D U Z I and lobby. As we entered our room, we were greeted by a pantry with our own coffee machine and a free minibar (light snacks, drinks). The FREE minibar is topped up daily and I loved it. Coconut juice to end each day was godsend. The pantry door slides open to reveal a HUMONGOUS room. I could roll over 3.5 times and still be on the bed. It is HUGE and comfy. I find the pillows too soft for my liking but with 5 pillows on the bed, it's heaven. There's a work table beside the bed, separated by a partition wall so if u need to get work done, you won't bother those who are trying to get some rest. The Bose sound system is amazing! With auxiliary cables provided, u can plug in ur iPod or phones to play your own music. Hidden at the back is the toilet, dressing area, wardrobe and safe, and bath. I love the spacious dressing area. Long counter so u don't have to wrestle for space. Good supply of personal amenities such as toothbrush kit, comb, hair dryer etc. During shower time, you can opt for a stand up shower or the IN ROOM JACUZZI! Since the hotel does not have a pool, the jacuzzi is the best place to soak and relax after a tiring day out. Panpuri toiletries are provided which smells sooooooo good. We also bought bath bombs from the stalls in chatuchak market for added pampering. Breakfast every morning is served at the restaurant at the lobby floor. U are given a choice of 5-6 items, all of which are enough to fuel us for the morning. We also tried room service which was equally delicious and affordable. For those who do not wanna spend about $10-$12 for pad Thai, can just walk across to the 7-11 to grab stuff to eat. Overall, the hotel is conveniently located. Just 5-7mins walk to Terminal 21 and 15mins walk to Healthland Asoke Massage centre. But this hotel is a gem of a find. I will definitely return to stay here again and will recommend it to those who are coming to Bangkok!"

Satri House: "A gem"

Review by: Tony D | Source: Trip Advisor
This is my second stay at Satri House, the most beautiful hotel in and around Luang Prabang. With lovely gardens and passages that open onto lily ponds and out of the way pavilions, the colonial French buildings, rooms and hallways are filled with Buddhist statues and Chinese porcelain. My room had a deliciously comfortable king bed all the hot water you need and was kept spotless and fragrant by the wonderful hotel staff who serve excellent breakfasts (my favorite: rice noodle soup with pork), delicious luncheon salads by the pool and surprisingly good French dinners served with drinkable wine at the right temperature! This is the place to stay if you're going to the fantastic Luang Prabang Film Festival in early December or want to avoid the tourist crowds in the Old Town, just 15 minutes away on foot or 5 if you borrow a bike from the hotel. This is where I'll be staying with my friends during the LPFF in 2017. Satri House is a wonderful hotel, one of my favorites in Southeast Asia.

Rahai’i Pangun: "One of the best trips we have ever done"

Review by: painter2808 | Source: TRip Advisor
"We had the most marvellous and memorable 4 day trip on the boat in October. The staff were absolutely superb. Only superlatives will do. We were so fortunate to have Putu who informed us without lecturing. He was so easy to get on with. We were very fortunate and my husband, daughter and I had the boat to ourselves because the other family booked on the boat wanted to do a private charter. We have been on beautiful boats on the backwaters in Kerala on several occasions and also on boats in Myanmar and Vietnam but this beats them all by a mile. The river was serene and we hardly saw any tourist boats only the locals going about their work. Seeing the orangutans and learning about them was one of the best things that we have done in a long time. They are such beautiful and intelligent animals and I now try not to buy any products which contain palm oil which is destroying their habitat. "

The River Resort: "Excellent séjour !"

Review by: commeunavion | Source: Trip Advisor
