"This place really lives up to the Glamorous-Camping expectation. The resort stands out beautifully in the sea of rice fields. Once inside, the decor is stunning. Room are very comfortable but still manages to make you feel like part of nature. Bed and pillows were a bit hard but turned out to be just as comfortable in the end. Breakfast was good but limited. Understandable that they do not provide a big buffet spread as the resort only has 8-9 villas. Service is exceptional. Staff really pamper you and go out of their way to make your stay better. Made (from front office) helped to research for places to watch kecak dance around ubud town when I mentioned that I was interested. Special mention also goes out to the drivers Buda Yaso and the older one with a moustache (sorry I didn't get your name). The resort owner Frederick was also attentive and friendly, yet gave us our personal space. Very nice place, beautiful salons, friendly staff. Only 10-15 minutes walk from the BTS (Bangkok Sky Train), but still very quiet as it is located in a small dead end street, away from traffic. -------Akame: "Must try Taiwanese aboriginal cuisine"
"Amazing dinner at Akame! A modern Taiwanese aboriginal cuisine restaurant in Pingtung, the two chefs Alex and Sky are both Rukai people, creating new styles of aboriginal grilled cuisine. Grilled quail with black garlic sauce and grilled Taiwanese pork are my most favorite. "We stayed four nights in the Art Suite as a family of four with two younger children over looking the Saigon River - Yaeger and his staff were attentive without being intrusive, always on hand to offer help and suggestions. Villa Song is located in the less hectic District 2 of Saigon and 15/20mins taxi and boat ride into District 1 - most attractions are in District 1 but the enclave of District 2 is also interesting with shops and restaurants (catering to the expat community of the area). We did a Saigon Hotpot city tour (highly recommended) and Saigon Street Eats Seafood Tour amongst other major Saigon attractions. Breakfast was sensational with choice of western and Vietnamese by the water and under umbrellas. Do try their Pho Bo and in luxury settings. Didn't eat dinner there but the chef is amazing and menu looks legit. Front desk staff aim to please service even went out of the way with personal help for a out of normal request - exceptional service. "Supanniga Eating Room: "Excellent food"

"We stayed one week at Slow Private Pool villas and had the most amazing and relaxing time; just what we needed. The staff went out of there way to help us. Slow has the most helpful and accommodating staff. The Slow Spa is wonderful. Gili Air itself is already a perfect island getaway with a tranquil vibe and Slow Villas only enhances that feeling. Hotel Tugu Lombok is absolutely the perfect place to relax and a must-do on your Indonesian vacation. The hotel has stunning panoramic views and amazing sunsets. The beach is serene and quiet (even the three or four children that were there when we were there were well behaved...). While swimming is tough since the shore line is very shallow and rock filled, the hotel provides free snorkel gear and water shoes that make a cool down trip to the water easy and fun. Each room is uniquely furnished with antiques from around Indonesia that gives the hotel a cool vibe you can't find anywhere else...and the rooms/suites are amazing!THE SAMAR: "Know what you’re expecting"
"Location wise the property may not be for every travelers especially those who prefer staying very near to pub street area. However, we like the tranquility of the area and their attentive staffs. We were served by the same waitress in the restaurant throughout our 3 nights stay, she was definitely a gem! The property was half-occupied during our stay so it was very quiet and most of the time it seems like we were having the resort to our own. Bumped into other guests occasionally and they were quite friendly too. We love their ala carte breakfast menu too, their homemade pineapple jam with a hint of ginger taste is my favorite!"
