Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Can’t miss in Siem Reap"

Review by: Andrew W | Source: Trip Advisor
"Happened to stumble on this place after wandering around Siem Reap looking for dinner and was able to be seated without a reservation. That was a stroke of good fortune because this restaurant was exceptional. If you're in Siem Reap, do yourself a favor and visit this establishment. It's pricey for SR standards, but great value for the quality, especially if you're coming from an expensive city. And try the Margarita."

Amata Lanna: "Relaxing and Extremely Friendly Staff"

Review by: Dan M | Source: Trip Advisor
"A very nice spot for any kind of trip to Chiang Mai. Very clean and the best staff you could find to always make sure you are happy. We always felt welcome and felt like we were family. The rooms are decorated very nicely and has a nice Thai style and the courtyard is a small oasis like setting that is very pleasant. Overall very impressed with the Amata Lana."

Goldhen Budha: "Our happy place"

Review by: Stefan R | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We have spent 6 days at Golden Buddha in December 2015 and it has been one of the best Holiday experiences so far. The location is fantastic, the staff and the management are very friendly and the whole atmosphere is very familiar and relaxed. Food, drinks and services (e.g. Thai Massage) are great and our Baan was also stunning. Hopefully we can come back one day."

Tugu Bali: "So Relaxing! Right by the beach!"

Review by: Julia R | Source: Trip Advisor
I loved the ambiance of this place. You feel relaxed the moment you enter. I love how they do a daily coffee and tea with traditional Balinese cakes. The rooms are amazing! You get your own private pool along with a stunning outdoor bathroom. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a romantic getaway.

Summertime Villa: "It’s always Summer Time, at Summertime"

Review by: mpetergeorge | Source: Trip Advisor
"One needs to close one's eyes and transport oneself to one's summer vacations when at school, to relive the best moments in years gone by -- moments of unbridled joy and anticipation of the unknown, those of wanton freedom and excitement, a day in the pool, a trek within woods unexplored, to eat to one's heart's (and stomach's) content, moments of quiet tranquil and calm, and then the comfort of a bed and a pillow one can sink into, after a day of frolic. And it's all this and much more at Summertime Villa, Goa, where I had one of my more memorable breaks in recent memory. Summertime played host to me (and my group) earlier this August. While we make it a point to stay at a new villa each time on our yearly sojourns to Goa, something tells me Summertime will become a regular in the calendar of our activities. A beautiful oasis, tastefully done up and well adorned, Summertime boasts of 3 humungous bedrooms (one has a Koi pond right outside too) and bathrooms, a splendid drawing room, and two dining rooms (one on the outer deck, while the other inside the house). A swimming pool to boot, Summertime nestled away in the heart of nature, and away from all humanity that could bother you. With a cook (Dinesh) and caretaker (Prakash) at beck and call, and a retinue of helpers there on, one truly does seem like the master of all that he/she behold. For a bibliophile, Hans and Sucheta (who hosted us at Summertime), have books aplenty, that one could easily find a corner to snuggle into a lose oneself to the others around too. Be it a book that engrosses you, or the beautiful rains over the trees at the villa or even engaging with a small crawly thing that may have ventured out of the woods, into your space, Summertime was certainly a break away from the mundane. Located on the outskirts of Calangute, the villa is a shout away from a number of good eateries and watering holes, in and around the area. Getting to and from the place is a challenge, but the ever helpful Nora (the manager at Summertime) aided us with the number of a cab company that was a call away too. My group and I were truly pampered at Summertime, and it's in no small regard that this trip evoked as many memories of my yesteryears too. I shall certainly be coming back for more if Hans & Sucheta will have us back. Until then, I can only wish the crew at Summertime the best in creating more summer memories for more weary travellers."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "“This is a must see -a fantastic, wonderfull and different experience”"

Review by: vivilizzi | Source: Trip Advisor
"After 30 minuts sailing on Tatai river we arrived at the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. There are 12 luxus tents floating on the river. Each tent has a terrace and a bathing ladder and there is a restaurant serving wonderful food. It is placed in the middle of the jungle so here is peace and quiet except the sound of birds and fish jumping in the river. The staff is excellent and talks English. The Lodge has several excurtions. We went by boat 40 minutes to a waterfall and climbed the rocks, had lunch, enjoyed the sun and jumped in the waterfall to have a heavy back massage. After comming back we enjoyed a cocktail and had the most wonderful sunset from our terrace. We also went by boat to see fireflies lightening in the dark trees along the bank. We only stayed 2 nights but we could have stayed much longer if not for our schedule. It is a wonderful adventure experience if you want to go to a peaceful and different place. With love Vivi Lizzi, Denmark Room Tip: All the tents are the same and placed with 6 at each side of the restaurant"

Rachamankha: "Lovely and serene"

Review by: AndoverDan | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is a lovely and serene property in the bustle of Chiang Mai, very traditional in style. The pool facility is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the door is made of very heavy wood, and the only window fin the room faced a wall, so the room felt a bit like a cell. Service was gracious, if a bit impersonal. The hotel is located on the eastern edge of the Old City. It is a long walk to the daily morning and night markets, but very convenient to the Sunday night walking street.

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Hidden paradise"

Review by: C Seng T | Source: Trip Advisor
Unique lodging experience in the middle of paddy field. We stayed in a safari tent, reminded us of our high school days camping less the hardships. The interior was very elegantly decorated, thermal comfort was good. Hospitality was excellence but we had enough privacy. Highly recommended to those who look for temporary escape from hectic lifestyle.

The Island Lodge: "Great little boutique hotel"

Review by: JohannaEmmaSofia | Source: Trip Advisor
This was a great choice to stay before and after a river cruise on the mekong delta. The place was cozy with all you need: quality restaurant, spa and the most friendly and service-oriented staff. The place is tucked away pretty good so you want to have the driver pick you off at the airport.

Muang La Lodge: "Une réussite"

Review by: Jacques75007 | Source: Trip Advisor
Certainly a must in Laos. Ten bungalows, almost all along the river, rooms more than spacious, with perfect comfort. The outdoor spas offer the charm of "onsen" Japanese, and the pool has a beautiful location on an island near the hotel, which is accessed by a wooden walkway. The restaurant is classy, with a Franco Laotian mix that would fade over a restaurateur. The success of this place is certainly Raphael his manager and his assistant, Matilda, that the needs, as well as absolutely efficient and cohesive team. Take the detour, the welcome is charming and intelligent, it tells you the places, activities, and then you will feel right at home. One regret: the brevity of my stay!
