"Strange as it may seem. But we could not wait for the last four days of our holiday !! This lodge did not disappoint, the attention to detail, to ensure that your stay has the best chance of being a memorable one is impressive. There will always be somebody who will find fault, that is life ! The views are spectacular, the food excellent, ambiance spot on. We decided to have two days trekking, our guide Saajan was informative and considerate, and tailored the routes to suit our abilities, which was much appreciated by my wife who is not always the most sure footed rambler. The packed lunches were something that Enid Blyton would of approved of !! Marcus and his team can be proud of the experience they are delivering to their guests, and we will be returning to enjoy this hospitality as soon as we can. Hotel Tugu Lombok is located near Bangsal port (port from Lombok island to Gili islands). Firstly, I came to hotel just for asking their room rates since I already knew their famous unique hotel in Malang. Surprisingly, their staffs are very polite and informative giving explanation about their room types and also the rate. They also let me and my family to walk around hotel and saw several rooms. Finally we took a rest in their restaurant while enjoying some fresh juices and pizza. Although we didn't stay for this moment, but I will recommend this hotel for their excellence service, friendliness and polite staffs.Rachamankha: "AN UPSCALE CLASSIC"
After checking out of a modern new boutique hotel across the river, we checked into this upscale refined location. It is truly beautiful, full of antiques and designed like a wealthy Chinese family's vacation home. We spent a long weekend in the bamboo house at this small but beautiful resort. Great experience. You are sleeping 3 meters from the beach! You hear the waves and all kinds of sounds in the night, very relaxing. The atmosphere at the place is great. It is sort of at the end of the road, so there is no restaurants or things to do within walking distance. But the staff and the manager Bryan are very serviceminded and will help you with anything you want to do or go to. We recommend you to eat all meals at the resort and then there's no need to go anywhere else. Just stay at the resort and enjoy it. "Even when you don't stay in the hotel you still can come here for food and drink. The advantage when enjoy meals here is that you are served with 5 stars hotel level. Staff are very polite, well trained and pay attention to small details to satisfy you. About the view, this hotel owns the best view of Sai Gon river. Decorations are very well to make it different from restaurants around with full of green but not surrounded by mosquitoes as most of other river side restaurant. Breakfast, lunch or dinner here are equally good. But each moment has different beauty. We were at this hotel as part of our honeymoon trip. Very well located, near the airport, and near the center of Siem Reap, our stay was very pleasant. The rooms are really nice and comfortable, and the staff people are very friendly, like all the people you know in Cambodia. This is the quite likely the best place I have ever stayed. The service and attention to detail was exceptional. This was our first time in Laos with friends and we felt we really got to see and do so much in the area on a four night stay. Any less than four nights would not give you enough time to appreciate the lodge. The visits to the local villages were fascinating. The food at Muang La was brilliant and even though it was much cooler mornings and evenings, fire pits were brought to our table so we were warm. Our family of five stayed for 3 wonderful nights at the hotel. The customer service was superb. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. We love the French cuisine served there, especially the freshly made bread! The lodge was quiet, relaxing and very beautiful. We will definitely be back!
