We were bowled over by our stay at Hotel Polanka. The staff are unfailingly helpful - and go out of their way to provide the little touches that makes the hotel feel sooo luxurious. Would 100% recommend it - it's a 10 minute bike ride to town (bikes provided) or tuk tuk about the same. 20-25 minutes to the temples. 20-25 mins to the airport. After super pleasant stay on January decided to come back again. This is really magic place, very chill and peaceful. This time stayed 4 nights in mountain view room and 1 night in villa. Both room is simply perfect, well maintained and clean. I'll repeat that staff is super warm welcome and will sincerely do everything to make your stay truly memorable. Restaurant the best in Pai. I returned here in 2016 for another week because I had stayed the previous year and I couldn't wait to get back.This must be THE BEST LUXURIOUS houseboat on Daal Lake with the most attentive staff.Breakfast on the roof is what travelling worth saving our time and money for. Lunch and Dinner are carefully prepared.The ambience of the Houseboat,its architecture ,its setting on the furthermost quiet part of the lake and all the wonderful staff are well worth venturing to this amazing part of the world for an experience that will stay with you in your most unique travel memories.Inle Princess Resort: "My kind of paradise"
This resort is everything and more of what you could possibly expect for a great holiday. Contrary to most other lake resort on Inle, it is very quiet and feels very private. Rooms were amazing and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great Spa in a nice setting is a plus as well.Reverie Siam: "Peace in Pai"
Reverie Siam Resort provided the peace we were seeking in Pai as it is located away from the tourist fray. All aspects of the property were outstanding, including the beautiful room and friendly staff. Our two meals in the restaurant were phenomenal. Amazing, creative and well-balanced food with fabulous homemade Thai dessert fusion with food lovers! The 2 brothers are so kind, Good English speaking and very creative! Excellent food and service in this small cambodian restaurant. Second best in Siem Reap after the Cuisine Wat Damnak. The food is very good with fresh ingredients and the atmophere great, open kitchen, New York style. Reservations needed. Very close ( walking distance) to the Sofitel hotel. "My wife and I spent two nights on Gili Air as part of our honeymoon and were very happy with our stay at the Slow Villas. From the welcoming folks at reception to the lovely spa staff, everyone was very nice and accommodating. The island can be quite rustic (i.e., intermittent power loss, transportation by horse-drawn carriage, etc ) but the Slow Villas provide a more modern, luxurious option (private villa and pool) with its own rustic charm (outdoor bathroom, mosquito net, etc). "Had an amazing time, even though it was just for one night, it was a memorable time for me and my family. In general it's quite difficult to find fault with any aspect of it. From the tent and the facilities therein, the service and attentiveness of the staff, the layout of the campsite itself, and the attention to detail in every aspect was looked into. For anyone interested in enjoying an authentic Sri Lankan spread, this is the place to go to, a good variety of local fruit and vegetables... In terms of the safari into the park, the vehicle is well equipped and comfortable. Most notable however is the expertise and knowledge imparted to us by the the managers, Sajith and Danushka with regard to the animals, bird life etc making the experience all the more enjoyable. Overall a worthwhile visit, which you will not be disappointed by, five stars across the board. "
