Supanniga Eating Room: "Great Food & Dining Atmosphere"
I can't recommend Supaniga Eating Room highly enough to justify the gastronomic experience we had there. If you're staying in the Sukhumvit area, you can do only justice to your stay in Bangkok and if you make an advance booking for dinner at Supaniga Eating Room in Thonglor.tugu bali: "Staying in the middle of art and culture"
"We were travelling with three small kids (3,5,7) and Tugu hotel in Canggu was our last stop in Bali after staying in Intercontinental Jimbaran and the villas in Ubud and Lovina. We were looking for something different than the large chain hotels and Tugu hotel turned out to be just the right place. The hotel does not belong to the Small Luxury Hotels, Relais&Chateaux (they do not have any hotels in Indonesia yet?) or Boutique Hotels, so we found it kind of accidentally as our friends had recommended to stay in Canggu area and hotel Tugu is #1 in Canggu. The hotel could easily fit into the quality standards of the small luxury hotels. Although the hotel has a pool, this is not the reason to come to this hotel. There are hotels with bigger and better pools. Tugu hotel is for the guests who love architecture, art and culture, who are excited about original interior design and high quality antiquities and handicraft surrounding at every step: in the room, in the garden and literally everywhere. The service was perfect even on the background of the Balinese being in general polite and friendly. I would like to give special thank you to Pande Dwipa for an excursion in the facilities: Tugu hotel is an exquisite art museum and hotel in one. I can only admire the vision of the hotel owner Anhar Setjadibrata, to share the art he has collected with the guests in his hotels. Tugu hotel is definitely ""worth a detour"", to use a Michelin term. "Muang La Lodge: "Beautiful lodge"
Mung La Lodge is a beautiful ecolodge and a bit of paradise. The hot spring baths, the wonderful dinners and the terrific service contribute to a terrific relaxing stay. We stayed three nights and didn't want to leave.Dewakan: "Amazing restaurant – GO!"
"When we watched John Torode's Malaysia programme back in the UK , he showed this place and so we booked it for our last night in KL. I have to admit as it got closer I got concerned that we had made a mistake. No malaysian we spoke to in KL had heard of the place and it soon became apparent that it was on the outskirts of town, a good hour away from central KL and forms part of the KDU campus. I need not have worried however. The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The service was attentive, the team enthusiastic about the food and the food itself was inventive and interesting. We had the 17 course tasting menu and every dish was different and innovative in its use of traditional Malay ingredients. Notable dishes included a perfectly rendered crispy duck skin over succulent rare duck meat, as well as the almost Heston Blumenthal like childish fun of putting together the slow baked red snapper in broth dish. There was only one dish we didn't particularly enjoy, which was the prawn dish and we found the texture of the raw prawns a bit odd, but it was clever cooking nonetheless with the flavour combination. This place is worthy of a Michelin star. My only concern is that being so far out of town and having only 10 tables, it is not getting enough clientele. So please, please if you enjoy inventive and innovative cuisine, go to this restaurant."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A perfect resort in an ideal location – worth every minute of the journey to get there"
We have just returned from our trip to Kerala and Mumbai and have to say that this was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. Our room was delightful, simple but to a very high standard with perfect attention to detail - sitting on our cottage verandah looking out onto the sea was amazing and very tranquil and relaxing - the cottages are designed so that we had privacy and never felt overlooked. The outdoor bathroom was luxurious and simple. Staying at this hotel was the most wonderful experience ever and I can't wait to return. The Hermitage has a peacful ambience - it is eco tourism at its finest - I particularly loved the fact there were no plastic bottles to be found on the resort! The food was superb, the swimming pool out of this world - and the staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A perfect place to spend some time relaxing and being at one with nature.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing Experience on Peacock Safari"
Fantastic. Despite not seeing any leopards (which is very unlucky so we have heard) my family and I had a lovely time. The food was beyond delicious, the staff were so attentive (one staff member per guest) and while it was camping, the set up made it feel very luxurious. The 5am wake-ups were a challenge but were balanced by the yummy breakfast we received on return, and the fun of the safari. We stayed over NYE and the staff made sure to make it a special evening- celebrating a "Singapore" NYE with Moet at 9pm due to our early wake up the next morning. We were even treated to an amazing "leopard dance" by Silva. He was a staff member who is an ex dancer and it was phenomenal!Rahai’i Pangun: "A once in a lifetime experience"
My husband and I took the 3D/2N trip In Tanjung Puting National Park. We found the whole experience to be absolutely incredible. The boat was well equipped and very comfortable, with a spacious deck area fitted with comfortable rattan sofas and chairs. Air conditioned cabins with en-suite facilities made the whole trip very civilised. We ate all meals on board for three days and I was very impressed with the variety of dishes on offer, the quality and the freshness of the ingredients. Freshly squeezed fruit juices were a delight. The food was a good balance of Indonesian and Western dishes (pancakes for breakfast!). Our guide Faisal was very knowledgeable and the entire crew went to great effort to spot wildlife on the banks as we cruised along and stopped the boat so we could get a proper chance to observe at close range. The orangutan feeding stations were busy, but not overly crowded, and the experience of seeing the orangutans swinging in through the trees for their food will stay with me for a very long time. Although this tour is at the higher end of the price range for Tanjung Puting trips I would thoroughly recommend it as great value for money and a wonderfully memorable experience. The personal touch that Gaye puts to make sure clients are happy with their tour shows just what a professionally run company this is.MATHIS RETREAT: "Quiet place in the rice fields"
"Beautiful hotel, very peacefull place. All staff are very kind. Special thanks to the manager Karine who is absolutely dedicated to her guests. Few minutes talk will make her understand exactly what you expect from your trip, and so she will advise you the best excursions and things to do. "Maison Polanka: "5 star done right"
Maison polanka is a 5 star done right. Stylish rooms in an intimate atmosphere with attentive and friendly service. The art works and the furnitures in the Khmer house were gorgeous, and it was a class apart from anywhere I have stayed in the region. The room is huge intact and we appreciated the large shower area with lots of rooms for the clothes to be hanged and lots of space for personal belongings. Everything was spotless on arrival, including the common areas. The food was excellent. The hotels location which is just within the city. Yes the road is bumpy but you will find a haven at the end of the pagoda. Thank you to everyone involved in making our stay so pleasant.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "A special place to stay on the Lake"
"The staff were very helpful and willing to please, we enjoyed being spoilt as there is only six rooms. We were fortunate to stay for two nights over Valentine's Day, we returned to our room after dinner to the room being filled with rose petals and hot water bottles in the bed. On our second night the staff baked a special birthday cake and all the staff came out to sing happy birthday to my husband. The bungalows are tastefully decorated and comfortable. The whole resort is a wonderful experience from the lovely food in the restaurant, the playful cat haven and kind and caring staff. Highly recommend for a special and memorable stay. Stayed February 2016, traveled as a couple"
