Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Amazing Chef’s Table experience"

Review by: Tiffany T | Source: Trip Advisor
"Had no idea what to expect when we booked this restaurant, and not knowing even made it better. We almost left because we didn't know where the restaurant was, we entered the bar adjacent and they said it was next door but next door was a gelato place which was closed. Blackitch was above this gelato place but we felt weird entering a closed shop. Luckily as we were about to leave, a lady came out and let us in, led us up into this quaint and small space. It was the restaurant and it would only fit about 12 people (2 tables and a bar area) making it super intimate. The food consisted of a 9-course set menu which is meticulously prepared by the Chef who comes out to explain each course. It changes all the time and his philosophy is very farm-to-table, local, nose-to-mouth cooking. His cooking ideals are admirable and we would definitely go back to try the other dishes he comes up with as the dishes were delicious (lots of Thai flavors fused with other cuisines). A meal for 4 of us cost around 7000 baht with drink and corkage as be bought a bottle of wine along."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Unique, peaceful and beautiful"

Review by: bg1981 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Sanak is an oasis of peace, off the beaten track, between rice fields, with cooler temperatures than the rest of Bali but actually perfect and hot just a bit less humid and not boiling hot. The view over rice fields is amazing, we stayed in a bungalow - very comfortable and stylish. Good food, organic, catering for people with any special diet. No plastic or coca-cola, I loved it, lots of fresh herbal teas, great for people who are environmentally conscious, like nature and want to stay away from the crowds. Amazing massage, the best we had in Bali, especially the milder version of the Balinese massage was great. I recommend also a walk to the waterfalls, although the local guide was fussing over me as if I was to fall down from each bigger stone :) It was worth a little walk and there were no one else there. It was still raining at the time we were there (end of raining season) but mornings were sunny and good for activities. It looks beautiful in any weather here. Sanak supports preserving the local area and gives work to people in the village, I just love what they stand for. This is the best combination I have seen of eco-tourism and luxury. We will come back."

REVERIE SIAM: "Excellent Resort in Pai"

Review by: Att V | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We had a great time staying at this resort. We really do appreciate all the attention to details as well as all the special care that we had received from the staffs and management throughout our stay. Foods at the restaurant were very nice from breakfast dishes to lunch and dinners. We were lucky enough to be able to meet with the young owner. We can tell that he really love what he is doing. He put a lot of effort and his heart on this property. All the very best to the owner and staffs. Thank you ver much for a great stay. We will definitely come back to stay with you again. "

Chakrabongse Villas: "Wonderful stay"

Review by: jo c | Source: Trip Advisor
We loved this place! It was gorgeous and calm, and the managers are extremely friendly and professional. We enjoyed falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the river right outside our door, and loved the excellent location right next to the grand palace and wat Arun. I'd love to come back at some point in the future. Highly recommend!

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Serene getaway with amazing massages, food, hospitality and spaces"

Review by: elina21 | Source: Trip Advisor
Hi, We spent a weekend at Neeleshwar and we intend to go back. The rooms are well appointed and spacious, the staff was very gracious and genuinely interested in you. The ayurvedic massages are a "must do". The infinity pool and lagoon ride also add to all the gorgeousness of it all. The menu changes everyday. Ideal for people who are stressed our and need a pick-me-up. The beach is pristine and quiet. Fishing trawlers pass by in the distance when you have breakfast. Highly recommend, especially for women travelers .

Le Calao: "Delightful, a future icon of Luang Prabang."

Review by: PHWalker | Source: Trip Advisor
With colleagues we hosted a small event at Le Calao over 3days. This is the newest addition to Luang Prabang's dining scene and the very high standard of service, impeccable attention to details and excellent food will ensure the future of Le Calao I am sure. The perfect venue for small meetings in their upstairs dining room and the perfect venue for intimate dining downstairs or on the terrace. And a superb location overlooking the river. Thank-you to Gilles, Yannick and the team for a perfectly managed and catered 3days. I will be back.

Flower Island: "Little island of paradise"

Review by: Noemie_Noisette_29 | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed three nights in Flower Island in March 2015. We really enjoyed, the staff was very friendly and committed to make your stay like a being in paradise. The snorkeling experience was amazing, best we had in Palawan! Just few meters from our room, with all equipments available for free at the hotel! Nice breakfast with fresh mango every day! Dinner food could have been better, but ok!

David’s Kitchen: "Just wow"

Review by: timmM8174QN | Source: Trip Advisor
"We found David's Kitchen on TripAdvisor and decided to go there for my birthday dinner. It was just as spectacular as everyone described. The service was amazing. We came in to our name on our table and the wait staff all greeted us by name. The dishes were never on our table for longer then about 2 minutes and our drinks were always topped up. The food just melted in my mouth. It can't be described, you just need to try it for yourself. It is expensive of course but well worth it. This is somewhere that I normally wouldn't be able to afford but thought we'd splash out for my birthday and I am very very satisfied."

Poring Hot Spring and Nature Reserve: "Poring Hot Spring Not to be Missed!"

Review by: udinr2017 | Source: Trip Advisor
Poring is located in the lowlands of Ranau. The hot spring water is the best stress relieve to soak away the sores and aches of your muscles in the natural spring’s hot sulphuric minerals, deemed to have healing properties and very popular among the locals. Visitors may chose open tubs to experience natural hot spring soaking, which is free for open tubs or enclosed tubs with fee of RM15 for twin tub. Surrounding are also other interesting areas in the park not to be missed such as the butterfly farm, the Poring Orchid Conservation Centre, the tropical garden, the Poring canopy walkway, and the Rafflesia flower site.

The Island Lodge: "A touch of paradise"

Review by: LynseyRavetta | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here for two nights this week and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are attentive and caring and the whole atmosphere is very relaxing. The restaurant has a wonderful mix of French and Vietnamese food which is five star quality We spend our days by the pool watching the board go by and saw two magnificent sunsets at the end of the piers. I fully recommend taking advantage of the day trips on offer and they are very good and give a great insight into day to day life on unicorn island. If we are ever in the area again we would love to return. Room tip: try and get a river view room, we stayed in room 3 and it was perfect."
