Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Absolutely Lovely!"
We treated ourselves to a night at Tiger Mountain after a trek in the Annapurna region. The combination of a stunning location, gorgeous stone cottage accommodation and an excellent level of service sets Tiger Mountain apart from other places in Nepal. We were very impressed with the knowledge and service level of the staff, the comfort of the rooms and the excellent food provided. Two of us decided to do the morning guided bird watching tour, which was excellent. We saw an amazing assortment of birds on a short walk around the property, including a very pretty scarlet minivet. "Thank goodness that , on our first visit to Bali , we chose to stay at Sanak. I shudder to think that we might have selected somewhere in traffic-clogged and frenetic Ubud or near Denpasar. Of course I accept that many travellers visit the island for different reasons, but if you want a rural idyll with picture post card views of the sort of idealized landscape that you thought might have disappeared - choose Sanak. The individual accommodations ( we stayed in a one bedroom ) are very spacious, comfortable and spotless. The staff are all delightful , friendly and helpful . Food and drink are excellent - what a delight to look out over paddy fields with scuttling ducks, and distant mountains as you eat. "We spent a couple of nights here at the end of our trip and it really was excellent. The staff were first class and extremely helpful at all times. The free boat rides into central Saigon are really useful and allow you to explore the sites. Rooms are really well designed and very comfortable. Pool is lovely. Food was good but on the expensive side but all the restaurants in the area are quite dear as the hotel is in the expat area of town. Champagne cruise on the sunset was just amazing! The weather was not that good as we wanted to but we said to ourselfs “it’s just a rain, let’s drink champagne!” and have enjoyed this experience very much. "What a treat ! Such a beautiful ,charming boutique hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights . Everything about this hotel has attention to detail. Our room was so comfortable, could find no fault. We could walk everywhere we needed to go. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were out for most of the days but we loved going back to our hotel. I would highly recommend to stay here . "The hotel is just beautiful. Definitely take the free tour! We stayed in ""Escoy"" and our room was amazing and very comfortable!! There were interesting snacks & drinks provided. "On our 3 weeks roundtrip through Bali and Lombok my girlfriend and me have stayed 3 nights at Slow Private Pool Villas and it was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. To shorten the story: The Slow was even better than expected! Our private villa was surrounded by a huge and nicely planted garden. The pool was just awesome - perfectly clean and bigger than expected. Furniture, tapware and decoration were beautiful and definitely chosen with a huge amount of passion for the details. The staff was always friendly and helpful - no matter if we wanted to go diving, book a snorkeling trip or had some other questions: there's nothing they can't help you with in order to have the perfect time at Gili Air. The breakfast is definitely another highlight. It's getting served at your Villa at your preferred time and tastes delicious! We can't wait to come back next year! I stayed for three nights at the MesaStila hotel and was blown away! The rooms are breathtaking, large, with enormous bath-tubs and rose petals, beautiful beds, and huge porch overlooking trees and valley. The service is impeccable, with housekeeping stopping by both morning and evening, to add special touches, fruit, etc that make the stay so special. Every single detail of the location is beautiful and made with love. Including the coffee which is grown and roasted on their very own plantation! Truly UNFORGETTABLE. If your budget allows, this is a no brainer. SLOW is a beautiful experience. The villas are stylishly and luxuriously appointed creating an ambiance rarely seen on Gili Air. The bed was especially comfortable (five star hotel quality) and the private pool and spacious garden added to our memorable stay. 2 evenings spent in Muang La resort with my husband and our 3 children. Comfortable bedrooms, the hotel is a haven of peace ... months would have stayed longer. After several days of visiting nois recommend to stay 1 day 1/2 day quietly at the hotel to enjoy their facilities. In February pool a little cold but that's normal! No mosquitoes! Hot baths are absolutely idyllic! And meals are delicious and highly sought ...
