"If you want that historical experience then this is the place to get it. there is no luxurious Hilton Hotel room but the charm & historical feeling is all worth it. The room is enormous & the bathroom although has modern shower taps the decor is from the era long gone. service is great & the food was good as well. Breakfast was included & consisted of buffet of fruit & cereals & a la-cart hot breakfast & first time I had a hotel say to me after I had finished my breakfast ""have you had enough, would you like some more?"" The house is also a museum & has daily tours & is very interesting to learn about the history of the house. its close to a lot of attractions including the wharfs & a short distance to all the famous Panang street wall paintings & art. Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "A little piece of heaven"

"Only for who is looking for relax and real contact with nature. No windows, doors or keys, forget shoes and phones, bathroom is openair. Andamane sea in front, savannah behind, mangroves canal, jungle around you. Typical and excellent dishes served for breakfast and dinner. Opportunity to make some really thrilling experiences with a thai guide. Thai original massages in a beautiful setting on the beach. Staff is really nice and helpfull and give you all the privacy needed. We were there for new years eve and was a wonderful beginning with bonfire on the beach, fireworks, lanterns throw. As I said a little piece of heaven!"

Tugu Bali: "Go there"

"We spent four nights at the Tugu last week as part of a holiday intended for rest and gentle exploration of the area. The hotel is lovely: full of beautiful antiques expertly arranged in public areas and in rooms which are spacious and very private.The gardens are lush and lovingly maintained. But the people are what make it. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and they are genuinely committed to making your stay memorable. There is none of the stiff formality of some high-end chains where the feeling is that guests are lucky to be there. The Tugu staff make you feel the opposite, that they are glad to have you as their guests. The food was delicious and the cookery lesson I enjoyed was one of the highlights of the whole holiday. If you are going to Canggu, don't consider anywhere else. The Tugu is a haven of peace and style. Thank you! Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Visited David's Kitchen with friends and was pleasantly surprised at the ambience of the restaurant. You could not get any better food and service in Paris itself. This restaurant is a must if you are visiting Chiang Mai.

Sukoon Houseboat: "Unforgettable Memories"

Its just chance to find this House boat in dul lake. It was amazing experience to stay there. This house boat is not like other traditional house boats in dul lake. It is like a five star hotel. You experienced a class on this house boat. Room size and interior is very good. Bathroom is USP of the room. Food quality and verity was very good. The chef was master in his profession. It has a Roof top restaurant where you can spend whole day to viewing beauty of dul lake and mountains. Staff was well trained and very much polite. Services was level of a five star hotel. They have water treatment facility so you don't bother about hygiene. They have a suite Room also.If you want to relax this can be one of best option in srinagar.

MesaStila: "Amazing gem in Central Java"

"We found this gem by pure chance and it lived up to all the reviews we found. It has gorgeous surrounds and so many activities. We had 4 families get away for the long weekend and there was something for everyone. Ask for a room with the mountain view, it will accommodate a family of 4-5 easily. We hired a bus which took us to a waterfall for the afternoon which I highly recommend. The staff are incredibly helpful and will sort out any of your requests. The spa is excellent and the walk through the coffee plantation and rice fields are so wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer. "

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Luxury camping and safari experience"

"Staying at NRLS camp is a complete experience. The luxury tented accommodation includes a comfortable king size bed ( air conditioning available in some), with separate bathroom ( hot shower, basin & toilet)- it is well appointed & clean. The tents are private and set amongst the trees (we were visited by several monkeys- which were not annoying). Full board included all meals, snacks & drinks, which were served in a family/dinner party type arrangement- allowing us to have wonderful chats and conversations with other travellers. Food was mainly authentic Sri Lankan- beautifully presented & excellent quality. Staff were courteous & friendly. Of course, the highlight was the safaris ( two per day). Our guide was outstanding - knowledgeable about Yala National Park and the Sri Lankan wildlife, responsive to our questions, flexible with our requests and he offered helpful photographic tips too. The jeeps are clean & well equipped ( but as with 4 wheel drives expect to go over some bumpy roads & through water). During our 4 safaris, we were lucky to spot 2 leopards- one was a special sighting ( close up for about 15 minutes without any other jeeps present), several elephants and many birds. Unfortunately - no sloth bears sighted, but naturally there are no guarantees for wildlife encounters. Overall this was a fun experience & I would highly recommend it."

Cuca: "Best meal of the holiday by far"

"I came with my friend for her 30th birthday and it was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend the tasting menu and the food was out of this world. Coupled with extremely tentative staff I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to couples, families and groups of friends. The wine and cocktails were fab, I had the apple cocktail served over a frozen apple and it was really yummy. We sat in the bar area watching the chefs at work and I think this added to the evening. Get yourself down to Cuca's you will not be disappointed."
