Heritage Suites: "Excellent service in a beautiful setting"
"We were truly impressed by the quality of the service and amenities at Heritage Suites. Extreme attention has been given to every detail of the hospitality here, and it makes for a truly enjoyable stay. The staff are accommodating and personable, and made every aspect of our visit enjoyable. It is a lovely (and romantic) place to stay. We had dinner and cocktails at the hotel, and were impressed by the quality of both. We ordered breakfast in our suite the next morning, and because it arrived ten minutes late, it was removed from our bill at checkout--a good example of how attentive the staff is to making sure the hospitality is top-notch. Based on what people living in Siem Reap have told us, the staff at the hotel are paid and treated fairly (not the case everywhere) and it shows in the service they offer."Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Thai Degustation"
"We stumbled across this diamond in the rough after dodging a restaurant with a sick (coughing/sneezing) waitress and another with no fan or a/c working. After dodging these first world problems we wandered past the nightlife at the surrounding bars and noticed Blackitch. Artisan kitchens can be rather hit and miss but this location is quaint coupled with enticing reviews welcomed us in. Obviously we didn't reserve a spot prior to dining and after a brief discussion with the kitchen hands the sous chef encouraged us to dine. We were unsure what to expect with no menu or information about the experience other than a drinks list. The house made plum wine was superb over ice and my partner enjoyed the root beer (sarsparilla for those playing in Aus). We were delighted from the first dish of the degustation through to the dessert. The chef showed pride and pleasure with our dining experience adding to the evening. Yes the price is significantly more than what you may pay elsewhere however the quality and personalised service for both of us including drinks for circa 4,500BHT is reasonable in comparison to other degustation dinings. Our favourite dish was the duck blood sausage followed by the banana fritter dessert. Unfortunately the only pic I managed was that of an empty bowl as I devoured the bouquet of flavours shortly after each serving. Recommended for a couples night of fine dining."The Hue House: "Unforgettable night at The Hue House"
"It was our 1st year anniversary yesterday. My boyfriend booked a table at The Huế House for this special occasion. The restaurant is on the rooftop 10th floor of an office building where we can see Saigon at night time. We came in the afternoon & catched the sunset - very romantic atmosphere which is suitable for us. The food was very delicious. Very nice decor as well. The restaurant owner was very nice to us, when he knew about this special occasion, he prepared us a cake as a gift. Thank you very much. This place is highly recommended "4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Prestine and Serene"
One may never fully appreciate the beauty and calm splendor of nature until you have been to one. And 4 rivers floating resort definitely is one such place nestled in nature. Staff and tour guides are friendly and always attentive. Food offerings are a mix of local and international delicacies, almost surely to please even the most discriminate of palates. Overall experience is unique and serenely magical! Can't wait to be back.Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Outstanding Cultural Experience"
Staying at Rakkojae Seoul was incredibly fun. Highly recommended for anyone seeking history & culture vacation. Rakkojae resided in the heart of the Bukchon village, convenience location, great walking neighborhood, steps away from tourism info center, and minutes away from subway station. We stayed for 3 nights in the separate house. The house was well maintained very nice and clean. The staffs were very friendly and helpful especially Mr. Kim the manager. The traditional breakfast serve daily was excellent. Rakkojae brought us an amazing experience in Seoul that one may not get if staying at modern hotel.Bassac Cruises: "An experience not to be missed"
"Boarded the Bassac at Cai Be, a well organised tour, food excellent, the varying scenery of the Mekong terrain makes you wonder how any army (even the USA) would even consider trying to subdue the residents. The was of life as explained by An the guide was an eye opener - they must be 100 years behind the rest of the country. A revelation. Guide An was excellent."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Heavenly Retreat"
"Elegant, tasteful and spiritual haven. A wonderful end to an amazingly busy and eventful tour.We left feeling rejuvenated and fully refreshed having enjoyed the wonderfully comfortable and harmonious ambience. The attention to detail and care taken at every level contributes to the magic of this place. With only twelve cottages, we were given personal service and attention of the highest order. The breakfasts served at the beach cafe are beautifully presented and delicious. In the evening we enjoyed supper under the stars at the beach cafe too…eating freshly caught fish and sea food."Jing’s Residence: "Amazing stay"
Amazing stay in a beautiful hotel, furnished with a delicate taste, managed by a dedicated and welcoming staff. A place we do recommend to everyone willing to retire from buzzling china and yet still experience china…Satri House: "Escape into a world of tranquility!"
"Traveling in Asia can be stressful, so I was grateful for this all too short escape from reality at The Satri House. What a treat to be greeted with a welcome drink upon arrival! The staff really make an effort to make you feel at home. I chose economize by taking the local transportation from the Luang Prabang airport rather than the hotel pickup. This proved to be the right choice, as the airport is very organized for tourists with a set price and individual drop off at your hotel. My room was very comfortable, with fresh fruit and plenty of bottled water. Although the mini fridge was'nt stocked but you can order drinks.. As others have noteted, the walk into town was easy and enjoyable, taking you past many interesting sights. I would recommend to travelers who like to explore that you take your time and wander some of the side streets along the way... There is a fantastic 'hidden' restaurant just across the street. 'Manda de Laos'. Highly recommended for that romantic get away or restful retreat. My only regret was that I only had 2 nights to enjoy this wonderful place!"Sanak Retreat Bali: "Sublime"
"Grandes chambres de luxe au milieu des rizières. Très bon restaurant et prix très abordable. Il est aussi possible de manger dans la chambre. Comme partout a Bali, personnel aux petits soins. Le cadre est merveilleux, superbe piscine."
