Lovely setting, great menu, and food was perfectly cooked and presented .... Crab Bisque, then Curried Langoustine ... All outside seating, fans no A/C, but fine for us ... Give it a try !

Tugu Bali: "Boutique hotel with fine food"

Review by: lovetravelAustralia | Source: Trip Advisor
"We dined at the Hotel Tugu twice within one week while we were staying at a nearby villa with friends. The first meal was lunch on Valentines Day which also coincided with our friend's anniversary. The hotel is stunning, with many historic artifacts scattered throughout the public areas of the hotel. Cocktails in the bar before lunch were delicious, I particularly enjoyed the Tugu Gin Tea! We were seated in a private dining room for four (just off the main seating area) overlooking the pool and gardens. We all enjoyed a delicious lunch of Indonesian and other Asian dishes which were fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Desserts were also spectacular, in particular Black sticky rice pudding with Mango. A complimentary dessert was presented to our friends to celebrate their anniversary, a lovely touch. We were all so impressed we rebooked for dinner later in the week! Before dinner we had cocktails again but this time on the rooftop of of the hotel while overlooking the beach and a spectacular sunset and then again dined in the small private dining room. We preordered Babi Guling, the Indonesian roast pork specialty which was plated beautifully and was absolutely mouth watering. We indulged in an Italian Pino Griggo which was good value for money and a terrific wine. Special mention must be made of the incredible staff at Hotel Tugu, friendly, knowledgeable - just delightful really! We also requested to inspect the rooms at the hotel and were shown two different types of rooms, both very Balinese and very well appointed. We would love to return to the Hotel Tugu to experience staying at this boutique hotel and also to feast upon the fine food available there. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

The Hue House: "So glad i found here"

Review by: Flaherty K | Source: Trip Advisor
"This place is a must . Quality food at exceptional prices . Servive top notch . Im cautious when trying viet food even though its spectacular and unique with so much goodness some places tend to use too much oil as i have encountered on a few occasions with mi quang and bo kho when you see the ""yellowish"" oil sticking to the side or floating on the top of the broth but the vietnamese like it this way. The food here is unique to the central of vietnam and omg absolutely minimal use of oil in the broth and dishes and incredibly cooked to perfection. Not only that but so tasty with lots of goodness . The price of the food for the quality made it that more special . This will be my go to place for traditional healthy ""Hue"" food! Be sure to check this place out and make sure you have a big appetite before going as there are so many different unique wonderful healthy dishes"

Villa Song Saigon: "Elegant hotel on the Saigon River"

Review by: Craig071 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and it is really special. Right on the Saigon River and in District 2 of Ho Chin Minh. The service was really good and the location is perfect. You can catch the hotel boat shuttle directly to the main district 1 if required. The area around the hotel is quiet and we found some really nice restaurants. This hotel is number one on trip advisor for a reason. "

Villa Song Saigon: "Wonderful! Keep Up The Great Work"

Review by: le_mans_stig | Source: Trip Advisor
Stunning boutique property in district 2 of the city yet feels and looks like you are far more rural. We stayed here twice and were given a very warm and typical Vietnamese welcome each time. Service was impeccable and attentive without being intrusive. All seemed to have a very genuine interest in how we were and what we had done each day. Great sized lovely pool for the number of guests accommodated, chilled to exactly the right temperature! To the rear of the hotel is a beautiful garden, bar and indoor/outdoor restaurant overlooking the river and across to the fields. Chilled music adds to the very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out by the river with a drink (or two) each evening! An excellent menu and wine list provide great choice and all of the food was beautifully presented and absolutely superb. The hotels speed boat provides a courtesy shuttle service between the hotel and centre of the city in just 15 minutes, far quicker than going by road! Exceptional service from a clearly dedicated, highly trained and competent team. Nothing is too much trouble. We hope to return soon...

Sea Dance Resort: "Great value, great service"

Review by: Jason L | Source: Trip Advisor
"My girlfriend and I stayed at Sea Dance for 5 nights and had a great time. The service here is nothing short of excellent. Since it's a smaller resort, they get to know you by name and quickly learn all of your preferences. We stayed on Koh Samui for 3 weeks at 5 different places (mostly 5 star) and this place had the best service hands down! We loved the restaurant and ate every meal there during our 5 night stay. The fish tacos and all of the Thai food were outstanding. I would also recommend doing the cooking class here. It is a personalized session where you can pick the dishes you learn. We will definitely be making Thai food at home after this class! Overall, I would recommend this place."

Reverie Siam Pai: "Best hotel in Pai – great design. Superb breakfast!"

Review by: VillaYar | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is by far the best hotel in Pai. Beautifully designed with quirky touches. The restaurant is voted the best in Pai - but isn't actually very good. However, the breakfast is sublime and staff incredible. The main swimming pool is lovely and relaxing, the 'riverside bar' is a waste of time so just head straight out and explore the unique Pai - it's what you are here for afterall? We had room / bungalow 8 which was gorgeous but a little dark, I would have liked to see another, brighter room. That said, really comfy bed and the bathroom with Jacuzzi is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!"

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Living like a queen for 3 nights"

Review by: simplyjo | Source: Trip Advisor
"Just checked out of The blue mansion and all I could think of was - I need to write about this on TA. I rarely take the time to review my experiences but this was something else. I have always been a big fan of unique stays and this tops the bill. Imagine living inside a UNESCO world heritage site which also happens to be one of the top 10 greatest mansions in the world? Hell yeah, count me in! Absolutely wonderful indigo blue decor, spacious rooms with Jacuzzi, ever smiling and helpful staff and loads of heritage and stories behind the walls. We had the perfect stay at the cheong fatt tze mansion."

tugu malang: "Perfect New Year’s Eve destination"

Review by: Huibert74 | Source: tripadvisor.com
We came back to Malang because of Tugu and because we wanted to experience its New Year's Eve party. It was more than worth it. The hotel as such is still an absolutely great place to stay and the party was perfectly organized. They really knew how to get it going. We left with more good memories of Tugu Malang and certainly want to return.
