Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Just the best, if you can stay here"
The care and attention to detail I do not believe can be improved at this excellent place. All the staff, and indeed the owner are at hand to make your visit a positive one. I do not eat meat and was given an array of specially made food for my pleasure. The views on clear days are spectacular and to sit with a cup of tea and watch the mountains is a very special experience.Tugu Bali: "Tugu Hotel Bali is a luxurious slice of history"
I stayed in a Dedari suite while I was at the Tugu Hotel Bali. I loved having the private plunge pool and outdoor swing daybed. I also quite liked the outdoor bathtub with attached koi pond. However, the hotel decor is what's so amazing here, and it is definitely one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel. Everywhere you look there are beautiful antiques and artefacts. It's a living museum. I also took in the Thursday evening cultural dinner which includes a Balinese dance and music performance. If you are a traveller looking for a truly unique Bali experience this is the place to have it.Muang La Lodge: "Séjour enchanteur"
In perfect harmony with the environment, immersed in a lush stayed 2 days in this charming resort in discreet luxury, where everything is done for the welfare of visitors. Much attention is paid to details that make all the difference. A delight.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A perfect resort in an ideal location – worth every minute of the journey to get there"
We have just returned from our trip to Kerala and Mumbai and have to say that this was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. Our room was delightful, simple but to a very high standard with perfect attention to detail - sitting on our cottage verandah looking out onto the sea was amazing and very tranquil and relaxing - the cottages are designed so that we had privacy and never felt overlooked. The outdoor bathroom was luxurious and simple. Staying at this hotel was the most wonderful experience ever and I can't wait to return. The Hermitage has a peacful ambience - it is eco tourism at its finest - I particularly loved the fact there were no plastic bottles to be found on the resort! The food was superb, the swimming pool out of this world - and the staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A perfect place to spend some time relaxing and being at one with nature.Muang La Resort: "Fantastic stay"
"Stayed here with my wife and daughter for two nights. Stayed in two amazing rooms overlooking the river. Really couldn't get any closer to the river without being in it. Magical setting. Had a great welcome by the manager. Soaked in the hot spring filled hot tubs. These were perfect during this cooler time of year. Had great food...nice multi course asianfusion style dinner with great bottle of Pinot noir. Breakfast was good but suggest adding some crepes or pancakes as an option. Did a village and bush walk despite the rain and had a great time. Service here is excellent! Highly recommended!"Cuca: "Great food and presentation"
Wonderful knowledgeable staff and great service. The food was excellent. We had a wide variety of dishes and everyone was very pleased with the quality and taste. Been back many times and can't fault the place.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A Little Piece of Heaven"
My husband and I just spent 3 nights at 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. I wish we could have stayed another several days. The lodge is on a warm river which is delightful for swimming. The tent rooms are spacious, each with it's own private bath, complete with double sinks. The beds are comfortable. It is very quiet and the sunsets and night skies are awesome to see. Anna, the manager/owner is a wonderfully warm person, she learned our names immediately and checked in on us often to see if we needed anything. There are a number of day trips that one can do, we did the "Lost in the Mangroves" and the "Fireflies" excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed both. The staff are very friendly and do a great job. This is "glamping" at it's best! We especially appreciated the fact that the Lodge is doing a ton to support the local community (employment, sustainable tourism, educating the youth about the importance of nature, helping to build a new school building, recycling plastics and numerous other projects). We'd go back in a heartbeat! Thank you 4 Rivers Floating Lodge for a wonderful time...Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Stunning"
"We were quite surprised to one minute being surrounded by urban India then suddenly in this idyllic small resort type hotel on the Coast of the Arabian Sea. Fabulous clean beach, perfect facilities, Yoga Room, Spa, 2 restaurants our favourite being right in the beach and large infinity pool. The accommodation is self contained little cottages. Just perfect. "Samanea Beach Resort: "Absolutely Perfect"
"Wonderful hotel, we extended our stay from 2-4 nights. The grounds are beautiful, large swimming pool and set on the ocean accessible by private jetty. The rooms (or suites) were spacious, exceptionally clean, with gorgeous and comfortable 4 poster beds with mosquito nets. The barroom is again spacious, the big surprise was the large adjoining outdoor area with open shower and oversized round rock bathtub. The rooms had adjoining outdoor areas with comfortable chairs and table were you can relax or dine also included a hammock. The staff were wonderful, would bring our meals and drinks to the beachside cabanas or while we were swimming in the pool. Food at the restaurant was good quality and they made excellent coffees. My only suggestion would be some stand up paddle boards or kayaks as the water was so calm it would be perfect. Whilst at the higher end of the hotel market in Kep, price was very reasonable. A place suitable for all travellers, families, couples and friends also solo if your looking for some serenity."Babe: "Food with a view"
This place is food divinity! The waiter offered me for trying the lamb chop. Uhmmm no words required, the lamb was very tasty!!! So juicy and tender. This place serves Japanese tapas with a mix of western Japanese. The food prepared here was something I had not seen elsewhere and was delicious. The staffs are very nice and the seafood are very fresh as some of their ingredients are flown in from Japan. I love the atmosphere where you dine next to the swimming pool. The dim lights, the seats and the magnificent view gives thus place two thumbs up.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
