The River Resort: "R and R"

I loved the place. It was such a magical place. Beautiful views and the staff were very excellent! They anticipated your every needs you from a free bicycle to use to how you like your food to come out. Loved the place!

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Just perfect!"

"Ne changez rien, vous êtes parfait. Du début à la fin! Une belle découverte mais il faut l'apprécier. Voilà un hôtel (atteignable uniquement en bareau) à la hauteur de ses notes sur Tripadvisor! Magnifique. Six chambres seulement dans un écrin de verdure priviligié, toutes montées sur pilotis avec un standing supérieur! Les chambres sont (très!) grandes et ce sont en fait des bungalows indépendants qui vous mettent déjà le voisin à distance. La décoration est de bon goût et le confort est de mise. Un coin salon avec canapé et table basse et un grand lit disposant d'une bonne literie. En outre, durant les périodes fraiches, chauffage à disposition et bouillottes installées durant le repas dans nos lits! Excellent. La salle de bain est jolie et dispose d'une douche italienne. WC séparés. Une jolie terrasse privative avec deux chaises longues nous invitent à profiter du coucher de soleil. Un safe se trouve dans la partie salle de bain. Pour les addicted, pas de TV! ce sont ça les vacances! Mais une bonne connection WIFI partout sur le site. A noter qu'il n'y a pas de mini-bar non plus. Le staff - grand nombre de personnes - est agréable et au petit soin. A noter que l'hôtel utilise une partie de sa structure comme école hôtelière (on les voit à peine). De plus, le staff de cuisine utilise de nombreux légumes cultivés sur place et qui sont utilisés dans nos repas. Le petit déjeuner est simple, frais et servi à table. Des produits sains. J'y ajoute la qualité des repas, des prix de plats et boissons corrects et un esprit très écologique, c'est simplement parfait. Je vous le recommande les yeux fermés. Maison Polanka: "Nirvana"

Idyllic traditional Cambodian house nestled in a stunning garden in the backstreets of Siem Reap. Staff were charming and efficient and always ready with cold face towels after sweaty trips to the temples. Absolute peaceful place with no TV or ambient music, just the chirping of cicadas

Slow Villas and Spa: "7 days of paradise"

Gili Air is itself already a special place, however, if you stay at Slow Villa this will give you the last notch to perfection. The villa itself is very well organized with private pool, massive private garden, lovely villa and beautifully designed interior. The stuff was great even at peak breakfast hours and also for special arrangements like bbq of the fish we caught in the morning. The staff is more than helpful in giving you tips in terms of restaurants, bars, activities, organizing travel arrangements, etc. In a pretty short time you get a good impression about the island itself and the other accommodation and I can without any doubt say that Slow Villa is definitely the best place to stay on Gili Air. And on top of the aforementioned I love the fact that the people behind Slow Villa also care about environmental and social responsibility. Chapeau and keep going!!!

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "A touch of Heaven ❤️"

"As a Family of 10 in the age between 8 and 70 (three generations), we were very excited and a bit nervous if the GB was able to fullfill our needs and interests. ALL our worries were proved wrong!! This is the Best place We've ever been!! No iPads, no ""it's boring"", just ""beeing"" just eat - live - pray ❤️❤️❤️ To stay at the GB You have to appreciate and worship Nature, silence and beeing together alone. The Island Lodge: "Get off the busy life"

Niche and charming hotel. Warm welcome and cheerful staffs. Great feeling with bird sound around you in the morning. This is also the place you can get around nicely with the bicycle and feel the fresh air with a lot of green in the afternoon!

Flower Island Resort: "Très bien"

"Nous avons séjourné sur cette île resort 4 nuits, nous nous sommes régalés.Les bungalows sont simples et pratiques, vous êtes pas sur les mêmes standing européen, mais nous avons adoré. La vue sur la plage et sur le sunset nous dépayse.Concernant le snorkelling, il suffit de plonger devant l'hôtel et vous pourrez voir des Green turtle et des anémones fish. Pour les repas, c'est sous forme de buffet et ils sont assez généreux, un seul bémol est les desserts... Le wifi à la reception est nickel.Nous avons testé les massages par 2 fois, ils sont bien exécutés mais le bungalow pourrait être déplacé au bord de la mer car il est à côté du restaurant ce qui peut être gênant (bruit).Par contre peu de monde au bar Nous y retournerons sans problème"

Locavore: "Great food taste experience and fine dining"

Luxury food from local grounds. We received 10 snacks before the actual 7 course menue! They chief really managed to surprise us with overall 17 very different tastes. It’s not a place where you go to eat one dish. But it’s the perfect place to experience a huge variety of tastes. If you are looking for something special - this will be.

Tugu Malang: "Magic!"

Everything is excellent: staff, the restaurant (great menu) , rooms, afternoon tea, the decors, ... The staff will give you all sort of info and great advice. Don't forget to visit the Bakery next door: Roti Tugu. Highly recommended! One tip: book your table for dinner.

Zhiwa Ling: "Beautiful hotel in Paro, Bhutan"

This is a beautiful hotel in the magical and serene Paro valley in Bhutan, a place as faraway as one can imagine and more than a bit like the fictional Shangri La. Constructed in the architectural style of the country, it is a gorgeous property, with lots of open space. Rooms are located in about eight separate buildings, four to six rooms per building, all with balconies facing the nearby river. Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated; it included separate tub and shower, comfortable king size bed, balcony seating area and more than ample closet space. The fitness center is reasonably well equipped and situated in a large, attractive space adjacent to a large indoor swimming pool. The lobby and public meeting spaces are distinctively and comfortably furnished and decorated in the local style. The staff is as gracious and anxious to please as one can find in a hotel anywhere. This is a top tier hotel by any standard.
