Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Serenity personified"

This was a beautiful experience of a tradition Hanok in the heart of Bukchon. The property is intimate and secluded, with only a few 'rooms' placed around a small central courtyard. Every detail carries style and has been carefully set out to create an escape to a simpler past. The underfloor heating made sleeping on the floor surprisingly comfortable. The service was unintrusive, helpful and gracious, breakfast and dinner served each day with Korean hospitality of generosity and flair. We loved everything about Rakkojae. The location so close to some great historic sites, galleries and design spaces was a bonus!

We stayed here for 5 nights and the stay was great. The staff were wonderful and the rooms very comfortable. The history is fascinating and the renovation work excellent. We didn’t eat here other than breakfast - we ate at the Red Garden Food Paradise and Night Market which is right next door - so many choices and so inexpensive!

MesaStila: "Always Want to Come Back"

"This is the second time we visit this property within February 2016. First time was on Feb 7th, and the second time was on Feb 28th. We were travelling to Jogja but I missed this place so much, we decided to drive to Magelang to have an afternoon coffee here. I can't even decide where to begin to share with you how marvelous this place is. The property itself is a magnificent mixture between old time Javanese architecture of Joglo Houses, which are very beautiful, and some wooden buildings from Dutch Colonial era. The Coffee and several other traditional drinks here are just the perfect company to enjoy the weather and magnificent view of mt. Merapi. You can also pamper your eyes with the lush greeneries view everywhere you look. Last but not least, the staff here are just lovely. First class hospitality. "

Tugu Malang: "Luxury and services are beyond expectation"

"I was there only for a day and wish to come back soon. The room was impecable, perfect with a touch of personal welcome in a card. Our room facing the front hotel but not noisy at all. The bedsheet was super clean and it was a standard five hotel services and facility. The amenities was not much but enough. Small pool but convenient enough for children. Good selection of breakfast with some a la carte menu. The hospitality is unbelievably super friendly. A typical warm small size five star hotel that you would never experience in a big busy hotel. This hotel was beautiful in a an outdated way, and you may find it quite spooky at the back part, but for some, it may be the point of attraction. "

Manukan Island Resort: "Great stay in a hillside villa"

We stayed in a hillside villa. The villa was lovely with two balconies with amazing sea views and access to the private beach. It had all the amenities we needed. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and Ben made sure we had a great experience. The food in the restaurant was good and it has a nice atmosphere in the evening when the day trippers have headed back to KK.. There is also a house band happy to attempt any request you have.. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Villa Song Saigon: "Must stay"

"I had a chance to come across this hotel as I was sourcing an outdoor venue for a corporate event. Everyone at Villa Song was very helpful with our event. For those looking for a place to have an outdoor wedding, look no further - Villa Song is the place to go to! I had the chance to stay there for a night and I regretted as it's too short!!! I will definitely be back! The room is huge and the bed is very comfortable. They have a great restaurant that is just by the Saigon river that offers 2 completely different views for day and night. Food is awesome as well and you have the choice of either Vietnamese or Western - both are great. They have a great pool as well - though they don't offer any view but they have make the pool very cosy. Just a look at the pool and you will want to stay there. Spa was great too! I had a 75min massage - price is cheaper than the 5-star hotels in District 1. Although the location is at District 2, it is not far from other places. I would recommend staying here for 1-2N for some quiet moments before staying at the downtown area. Just a note that I don't think there is any elevator. Thus if you have problems walking up the stairs, you can request for rooms that are at the ground level."

The Hue House: "Customer"

First time when i come to the hue House , at first i has left deep impression is the espace with Huế imperial palace 's style , either the space outside , the service is enthusiasm , agile. Specially is the foods, they are delicous . There r too many kinds of great food so i couldn't try it all in 1 time . Honestly thats great. And for sure i will come back again to try another Hue foods very soon

Heritage Suites: "Charming and relaxing boutique hotel"

Stayed in one of the executive bungalows for 3 nights in October and had a wonderful visit. The rooms are spacious with a steam room, and the staff are so attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend a massage at the spa (you get a 15 mins complimentary one as a guest), as well as the food and happy hour cocktails! The free airport transfer in a vintage Mercedes was a real highlight. Would stay again if coming back to Siem Reap.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Total relaxation"

Neeleshwar Hermitage is pretty much my favourite place in the world for total relaxation. Cottages on a long beach, sand between your toes at meal times, yoga, Ayurvedic treatments, the sound of ocean waves in the background and wonderful people who unobtrusively look after everything. Every need is met but with none of the trappings of the typical ‘luxury’ hotel. If you want evening entertainment, music, exotic imported foodstuffs, or the bright lights this is not the place for you. And please don’t expect it to change. The owners are committed both to sustainability and to this unique model of total luxury with a difference. If you like like peace and quiet and privacy come. As a couple of retired academics, for us it is very expensive, but worth every rupee.

CHAKRABONGSE VILLAS: "The perfect oasis in the heart of Old Bangkok"

"I have used tripadvisor to plan trips for years, but our magical time at the Chakrabongse Villas has finally inspired me to write a review of my own. We could not have found a more perfect place to spend the final 3 days of a 2 week trip to SE Asia. Atom, the manager, and her staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful in making our stay in Bangkok so special, and upgraded us to the Garden View Suite, which was lovely. Tucked away in beautiful, lush gardens right on the banks of the Chao Praya river and directly across from Wat Pho and a short distance to the Grand Palace, the Chakrabongse Villas, is truly a hidden gem. Being in the heart of Old Bangkok meant that we could return to the hotel for a quick dip in the gorgeous pool to cool off from the infamous Bangkok heat before heading out for the next excursion. I highly recommend arranging to have dinner at the Chakrabongse Villas for an unforgettable experience - the dinner we had with a private table set up on the terrace right next to the river was the most romantic, and one of the most delicious, we've ever had (the owner is a descendant of the Thai kings Rama IV & V so the dishes are from the Royal Family's own recipes). We also enjoyed our tour of Bangkok's canals in the Chakrabongse Villa's own long tail boat. If you are looking for the perfect boutique hotel that offers a peaceful, historical oasis in hectic and hot Bangkok, then I cannot recommend Chakrabongse Villas highly enough.
