Villa Song Saigon: "The best hotel in saigon"
"This is probably the best hotel in saigon. The setting on the banks of the saigon river is perfect plus district 2 is set in a peaceful suberb of the city offering a river taxi to the center. Fantastic food and staff made our stay very enjoyable indeed although it is very expensive for Vienam it is well worth it."Mie Cafe: "The best meal i had on this trip of close to one month"
The chef is very proud of what he makes and we were not disappointed. I ordered scallops ceviche and oxtail.. both delicious. I wanted to go back and order the dish with red ants but could not manage to go back there, I go to Cambodia every year and try to go there every time. My guest were also very happy with what they ordered.Villa Song Saigon: "Great stay"
Villa Song Saigon is an amazing hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and the staff, rooms, food all make it a great stop for tourists or businesspeople that need to be in the city. Great value for the money and a wonderful experience.Flower Island Resort: "Heavenly"
We spent 3 nights at Flower Island for our honeymoon. Just perfect!! A very friendly staff, a beautiful island! The cottages are not on each other. We made a trip to visit a pearl farm, with a barbecue on the beach at the top, then snorkeling on magical places in small group (we were 11 on flower island). If you need a place to rest in peace, go for it!Tugu Lombok: "Paradise!"
Where do I start?! Our greeting on arrival was kind and sincere. We had a tour of the complex by the manager, who pointed out everything you needed to know. While unpacking, we received fresh coconut water which we could see being chopped down just outside our bungalow. The rooms were lovely, with a grand outdoor bathtub and a large open shower. The grounds were stunning, and everyone who worked there were incredibly friendly. The hotel has two beautiful pools, it's right on the beach and they do private day tours to the Gili islands which I would highly recommend. The breakfasts are to die for, and a good hour every morning was spent enjoying and trying everything on the menu (over the 4 days of course) which was no mean feat as the menu was huge and catered for everyone. There is also a gym which you can create a decent work out in. We enjoyed an amazing couples massage by the beach, followed by champagne and dinner under the stars. It was a truly unforgettable experience and I would really love to return one day. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for making our stay!Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Wonderful stay in a unique property"
"Traveled in a group of 5 adults and 1 child, booked two rooms and were given two on the second floor. The rest of the property is accessible by the public by paying for a guided tour, but the wings where the accommodations are are private and limited to guests staying overnight only. At night, the mansion takes on a different light and life of its own. A different vibe and feel from the day time, which you have to experience to believe. Great service from the staff, and the small sweets given at check in for tea time were a nice touch. Will return again next time!"Rachamankha: "Imagine you’ve got a very wealthy friend"
".... and this friend invites you to stay at their house in Chiang Mai while they're away. You arrive crunching over the white gravel to a beautiful grand house, away from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. Your friend puts their staff at your disposal and says, feel free to use the pool, no one else does, oh and there's a decanter of brandy in the library if you fancy it while reading some books and magazines. This is what it's like staying at Rachamankha. Plus: Library! Breakfast (beautiful, tasty and endless)! Pool! Ambience! Downsides: rooms are OK, but no views, woken by dogs barking from neighbouring property, shower head too low if you're over 5ft10 and you can hear your neighbour going to the toilet in the next door room. Maybe I'm being too picky ...."Reverie Siam: "The most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in"
Jobwise I have stayed in some of the fanciest and most expensive hotels throughout the whole world. But this is one of the nicest, most charming, most wonderful places I have ever stayed in. The staff is simply perfect. They don´t breathe down your neck but are always taking care that you might feel even more comfortable. Stylewise this resort reminded me of Luang Prabang and the great architecture of Indochine. Every gramophone, every chair, every pillow has been picked out with perfect style-and I truly would not have blinked if Hercule Poirot himself would have been sitting in one of those inviting armchairs. Situated directly by the river, one has perfect privacy if wanted. The two pools are great to swim and sunbathe and we even had a picknick (we brought ourselves) in the pavilion. I found it very hard to leave but am sure to return. Oh- I forgot to say that the rooms are not only lovely with their big beds, the bathroom with its huge detached tub and all those perfect fittings let you travel back into time. This resort is not only wonderful-is has soul and true style.Le Calao: "Fabulous!"
Visited on our last night in Luang Prabang and it was the best meal we had there. It was a cold night so we had to wrap up but we had a table with fabulous views over the river. The food and service were superb. Just wish we had discovered it on our first night then we could have visited again!Misool: "If it was possible to give Misool more than “5 Stars”, I would!"
"This was hands down our best vacation ever! Yes, the destination in itself is dreamlike and exclusively unique; however way beyond that is the amazing staff who work there who truly go above and beyond to make sure that guests have the most memorable experience ever. Assistant resort manager Sue regularly communicated with me via e-mail over a year prior to our trip constantly answering questions, and tailoring accommodations to suit our desires for our trip as well as coordinated many surprises for us when we arrived. Dive/Recreation manager Sabine worked out a schedule with me that provided an even distribution for time underwater and to engage in different tours & activities they offer at the resort. Sabine (a kick-@$$ photographer btw) even took personal time out of her day and assisted my wife and I with an anniversary photo shoot for us. The food at the resort is absolutely delicious. We did not have one bad meal there. The only thing remotely negative about the resort experience is that the ferry boat to get to Misool is a bit ""challenging""; however, in the grand scheme of things, it is a minor negative. My wife and I are fortunate to travel to many great destinations and while we entertain the thought of making return trips, we often decide to explore a new destination. However, after our experience at Misool which was without a doubt our best vacation ever, we are definitely going to be planning a return trip in the future! If you enjoy diving, snorkeling, remote solitude, tranquility, and the most delicious meals, I highly recommend taking the journey to experience this fabulous luxury eco-resort."
