Sandat Glamping Tents: "Really liked it but needs a little improvement"
"We were there on our honeymoon, i loved the pool and how quite it can be. The only downfall was that everything can be heard. The resort consists of 5 tents and 3 tree houses/ huts. We could hear the breakfast buffet being prepared, our neighbors talking so we couldn't enjoy our time together as much as we would have liked because everything and everyone is so close to each other. I like my private life kept private, not for everyone to hear just because ""ill never see them again or don't know them"". I did like that they offer a complimentary shuttle service into town, you should order it at least 30 min before. As for the tents they are nice and cozy but our tent was full of ants for some reason, and when we showered the drain was semi clogged so just after 2 minutes the water would over flow and get all over. The fans would make the room cool enough at night but during the day we preferred staying in the pool or going into town, AC's are optional for an extra charge. The pool was beautiful overlooking the trees and listening to the nearby birds and nature which was nice and relaxing. The breakfast was nice and simple. I loved the freshly made jams and juices and the staff was always kind, helpful and had a smile on their faces. We didn't take a yoga lesson but i would recommend it or even if you know yoga to try out the yoga deck by the reception cause its beautiful all in its own. I would recommend that they invest in either training or obtaining an actual bar tender as the staff isn't equipped to make cocktails. Overall, it was a good experience, it just needs a few tweaks here and there."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Idyllic Ayervedic break by the Arabian Sea"
This is a wonderful place to rejuvenate: attractive, comfortably furnished cottages, welcoming & helpful staff, excellent food prepared by highly skilled chef, superb treatments organised to address specific needs all set in a beautiful location. Excellent library. Great trips & events e.g Theyam, birdwatching, ashrams & temples.David’s Kitchen: "CHIANG MAI HIDDEN GEM"
Where to even begin? The atmosphere is very calming, beautiful and serene. David, the owner, personally comes to your table to talk with you about the food, your travels and your life. David is an amazing individual who runs an excellent restaurant with an amazing staff. The service and food is amazing, the best Chiang Mai has to offer, as well as their family-like waiters and waitresses. David took us to meet the chef because we were so impressed with our meal. Top quality ingredients, service and presentation. A little pricey (in Thai standards not US OR UK) but EXTREMELY WORTH IT! If you're even contemplating coming here when you're in Chiang Mai, Do it! You will not be disappointed in any aspect! 5 stars. A truly unique place.Chakrabongse Villas: "Stunningly perfect"
My three day stay was such a heavenly treat. Behind the gate lay a tranquil escape from the exciting but tiring streets outside. Wonderful rooms with lovely staff and freshly cooked thai food to die for. All that and a midnight swim under a crescent moon!!Talabgaon Castle Heritage Resort: "Beautifull interesting hotel."
"We only spent one night at the hotel, but I wish we had spent more time here. We arrived in the evening and had dinner by the pool, it was wonderful. The room was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the nearby village, a step back in time. Highly recommended !"Rahai’i Pangun: "One of the best trips we have ever done"
"We had the most marvellous and memorable 4 day trip on the boat in October. The staff were absolutely superb. Only superlatives will do. We were so fortunate to have Putu who informed us without lecturing. He was so easy to get on with. We were very fortunate and my husband, daughter and I had the boat to ourselves because the other family booked on the boat wanted to do a private charter. We have been on beautiful boats on the backwaters in Kerala on several occasions and also on boats in Myanmar and Vietnam but this beats them all by a mile. The river was serene and we hardly saw any tourist boats only the locals going about their work. Seeing the orangutans and learning about them was one of the best things that we have done in a long time. They are such beautiful and intelligent animals and I now try not to buy any products which contain palm oil which is destroying their habitat. "Satri House: "A very special place"
"We stayed here for 3 nights ( A group of 4 in 2 luxury rooms ) The staff were.delightful and could not do enough for us. The rooms were large, spacious, spotless and very comfortable. During 17 nights in Asia, this was definitely our favourite property and we would not hesitate to recommend it to fellow travellers. Room Tip: Choose 2nd floor as noise travels on wood floors"Sea Dance Resort: "Fantastic Short Break for Solo traveller."

If I'm allowed back :) Ill be there Weekly."Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Thai Degustation"
"We stumbled across this diamond in the rough after dodging a restaurant with a sick (coughing/sneezing) waitress and another with no fan or a/c working. After dodging these first world problems we wandered past the nightlife at the surrounding bars and noticed Blackitch. Artisan kitchens can be rather hit and miss but this location is quaint coupled with enticing reviews welcomed us in. Obviously we didn't reserve a spot prior to dining and after a brief discussion with the kitchen hands the sous chef encouraged us to dine. We were unsure what to expect with no menu or information about the experience other than a drinks list. The house made plum wine was superb over ice and my partner enjoyed the root beer (sarsparilla for those playing in Aus). We were delighted from the first dish of the degustation through to the dessert. The chef showed pride and pleasure with our dining experience adding to the evening. Yes the price is significantly more than what you may pay elsewhere however the quality and personalised service for both of us including drinks for circa 4,500BHT is reasonable in comparison to other degustation dinings. Our favourite dish was the duck blood sausage followed by the banana fritter dessert. Unfortunately the only pic I managed was that of an empty bowl as I devoured the bouquet of flavours shortly after each serving. Recommended for a couples night of fine dining."Akame: "Must try Taiwanese aboriginal cuisine"
"Amazing dinner at Akame! A modern Taiwanese aboriginal cuisine restaurant in Pingtung, the two chefs Alex and Sky are both Rukai people, creating new styles of aboriginal grilled cuisine. Grilled quail with black garlic sauce and grilled Taiwanese pork are my most favorite. If they have mullet wine, it's perfect match with grilled meat."
