The Cabochon Hotel: "Boutique hotel in the middle of Bangkok"

Review by: BruceR58 | Source: Trip Advisor
Bangkok is filled with excellent five star international hotels. Here's something completely different. Small, boutique tucked away in a small Soi off Sukhumvit. The service levels are warm friendly with a touch of classic Thai friendliness. The hotel is only 5 years old but has been created for yesteryear. Food is lovely and the atmosphere unique.

The Hue House: "Spectacular Restaurant"

Review by: Natalie N | Source: Trip Advisor
The unforgettable moment when you enter the Hue House restaurant. The decor is just amazing with the old Hue house, reminds us of the past Hue imperial. The food has a good variety to choose from frm wrap, rolls and lots of BBQ variety to choose from. The food is just amazing and the taste is authentic. The service is good up to standards.

NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Memorable and fun packed 2 day safari in Wilpattu"

Review by: ExplorersUnlimited | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We had high hopes for the 2 day safari, and were not disappointed! Pila was our naturalist host and he drove the jeep and hosted us throughout the safari. He is a knowledgable and experienced guide, very committed to providing a wonderfully memorable and diverse experience. We saw many varieties of birds, mammals and reptiles, often thanks to Pila's sharp and expert eyes. He was happy to provide as much information as we wanted, and carried a selection of reference books on the jeep to add background information to what we were seeing. The highlight was seeing 2 leopards, one up close and magnificent! But we were also delighted by the mongooses, deer, mugger crocs, jackals, painted storks, eagles, brown fish owl, langurs, monitors, turtles, woolly neck storks, adjutants, kingfishers, bee eaters, and many other stars. Pila also educated us about the flora and especially species unique to the area. We observed other professional park guides greeting Pila with respect and deference and realised we were fortunate to be with one of the best. The campsite was in a very natural setting. We had the impression it was actually within Wilpattu National Park, which isn't the case. It's about 15 minutes drive to the entrance. However there were only short queues and the campsite location was fairly peaceful and very beautiful, with plenty of natural sights and sounds. The cook and team produced delicious and beautifully presented food, and all manner of lovely small touches. Cold towels on arrival and each return from game drives, a small library of reference books, torches, campfire, refreshing King coconut water, warm showers on request, solar powered lights in the tent, gorgeous fresh fruit, 4 course meals with plenty to go around. Our first night was on a full moon night, Poya celebration for Buddhists. It was very special to be served a wonderful moonlit dinner in this amazing setting. The second day we were joined by 2 delightful New Zealanders and their Sri Lankan friend, who were great company on the game drives and during our lovely meals, which also added to the magical and memorable experience. Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "great time"

Review by: ebgoobler | Source: Trip Advisor
Great staff and great boat. Pretty dishes and nice drinks and food. The only draw back is that it is a bit expensive, especially for extra drinks. But as a single couple, we would go again.. but maybe not with a big group that has different ranges of budgets.

The River Resort: "Peaceful Retreat facing the Mekong"

Review by: Asiadvisor001 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Only 30mn from Pakse airport... right on the Mekong with a small island in the river in front of the resort. Huge land with trees, their own rice fields and gardens all around. It's a refill of oxygen to stay there. Excellent staff and friendly service under the supervision of Ton, the GM. I recommend to wake up early and admire the sunrise on the mekong from your balcony. Great restaurant also, with very generous portions Definitely recommended for people looking for a quiet and green environment and who enjoying activities in nature: walks, bike, boat trips..."

Flower Island: "Tropical Island Paradise"

Review by: Etienne P | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I sent several wonderful days at Flower Island Resort. We made the special trip to see the Jewelmer Golden Pearl Farm on our second day. There we were shown how the oysters are propagated and grown. The crew there showed us the process of grafting oysters(where the bead is inserted in to the gonad) as while as the harvesting of the lustrous Golden Pearls. Our room was very comfortable traditional native hut with modern conveniences such as air conditioning and hot running water. We really enjoyed the wide variety of meals especially the pearl meat salad. There is a trail to a tower at the top of the island that gives you a 360 degree view. Another path takes you all the way around the island in about 35 minutes.

Jing’s Residence: "Exceptional charm and luxury In an ancient city"

Review by: Hinda S | Source: Trip Advisor
After staying in wonderful luxury hotels in three cities in China, our arrival at Jing's residence was a delightful and very satisfying change. From the moment we stepped inside this lovingly restored boutique hotel we knew we were in for a treat. And what a treat it was! From the a decor that featured beautiful objects everywhere we looked and the rooms that provided every comfort to the charming dining room and terrace and well stocked bar, we felt well cared for and well fed. There was always a special surprise - such as the bag of honey dates waiting in the room to appease traveller's fatigue or the lovely handmade object left on the turned down bed at night. And the staff was incredibly cheerful and helpful. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer.

The Island Lodge: "A haven of peace in the Mekong Delta OK"

Review by: Joan F | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is a beautifully conceived boutique resort of 12 rooms, whose hosts and staff couldn't be more accommodating, warm and gracious. It is right on the Mekong River just 1-1/2 hours from the bustle and chaos of Saigon. Michel, the French owner and creative force behind this idyllic lodge, and his wife, Francoise, go above and beyond to cater to your every need. It is managed in a professional and gracious manner. The lodge arranged our transport from Saigon and back to the airport which went without a hitch. In fact I left my cellphone in the car. The driver found it; there wasn't enough time to retrieve it before my flight, but the lodge assured me they would get it to me and I received it at my next destination well packaged and Michel refused our offers to reimburse them for the postage and handling, saying it was their pleasure. What a lovely gesture. Fabulous pool overlooking the river, wonderful open dining room, tastefully decorated to a high standard. Rooms are beautiful, comfortable and beautifully situated. Ours was in the garden (we chose to have a bathtub rather than the river view) and the setting among the ponds, water lillies, little bridges was perfect. We took a half day trip on the river, designed for tourists, but our guide was knowledgeable and interesting and even the kitschy coconut candy making, ride on a Vietnamese rowboat down.a small tree canopied canal, paddled by two Vietnamese women (occasionally men), honey tea service was fun and educational. (No pressure to buy anything). I had two massage sessions (one an herbal with balls) and both were fabulous -- and very reasonably priced. Couldn't ask for a nicer couple of days. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"

Villa Mathis: "Un hôtel unique"

Review by: ELODIE v | Source: Trip Advisor
Elodie"

Manda De Laos: "A wonderful cultural dining experience"

Review by: Suzanne2303 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our tour guide, with our small group to celebrate her birthday. The ambience was perfect, the food very good and the service couldn't be faulted. A nice added touch was the small desert cake with candle for our guides birthday. The tablets are set around a UNESCO lotus pond."
