Manukan Island Resort: "Wow"

Review by: Sue H | Source: Trip Advisor
Spent 3 days, 2 nights here. Started with a lovely greeting by very friendly staff. Great room with water views. Large room, good bathroom and nice verandah to sit on and watch the world go by. Try the walk up to sunset point - was cloudy when I went, but still nice. Food in restaurant is nice, dearer than mainland but still cheap compared to home. Good buffet breakfast. Lots of people on the island during the day with locals coming over, but they all leave late afternoon then it's all yours. Very relaxing, peaceful few days. Went on snorkeling trip to nearby islands from here too. Great. Would love to come back here.

VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Super Boutique Hotel"

Review by: WorldCosmonaut | Source: tripadvison.com
"We stayed four nights in the Art Suite as a family of four with two younger children over looking the Saigon River - Yaeger and his staff were attentive without being intrusive, always on hand to offer help and suggestions. Villa Song is located in the less hectic District 2 of Saigon and 15/20mins taxi and boat ride into District 1 - most attractions are in District 1 but the enclave of District 2 is also interesting with shops and restaurants (catering to the expat community of the area). We did a Saigon Hotpot city tour (highly recommended) and Saigon Street Eats Seafood Tour amongst other major Saigon attractions. Breakfast was sensational with choice of western and Vietnamese by the water and under umbrellas. Do try their Pho Bo and in luxury settings. Didn't eat dinner there but the chef is amazing and menu looks legit. Front desk staff aim to please service even went out of the way with personal help for a out of normal request - exceptional service. "

Rachamankha: "A super oasis of calm in Chiang Mai"

Review by: wendyLondon | Source: Trip Advisor
"A proper oasis in the old town of Chiang Mai. It is really beautiful and immaculately maintained - not a leaf or petal out of place. We had a standard room which was fine - spacious and with a lovely large bed. The shower was walk-in and big enough for my husband to use without complaints. The shower has hot, cold, on or off - it was fantastic and extremely strong! There was plenty of free drinking water and for the staff, nothing was too much trouble, at all. The pool area is lovely and while we were there, they replaced the sun beds which were much better! We ate in the restaurant the first night as we got a bit lost when we wandered out of the hotel. It was great - I am surprised by some of the negative reviews. There is a nice selection of both thai and western dishes on the menu and we went for the Thai ones which were very good. Breakfast was amazing. The white table clothed tables were set up in the courtyard and used the beautiful 'antique' crockery. As ever, the service was impeccable. As well as a small buffet there was the choice of a variety of hot dishes, all included in the price. The only downside was the internet - I know that a lot has been said about this and as one reviewer stated, if you want to get away from it all then great, some of us don't have that luxury and I need to check in (home and work) at least once a day. The internet is deeply frustrating and I almost knocked off a star. If the management are reading this PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE INTERNET! Overall a super hotel that we would not hesitate to return to."

Les Maisons d’Itac: "Great place to stay"

Review by: MrsFanke | Source: Trip Advisor
We really enjoyed staying at this resort. We slept at Maison Ulysse and I really enjoyed the interior and . The resort has a lot of details and it very well looked after. It is hard to communicate with the staff as they hardly speak any English. But Bryan (the manager) is most of the time present to help and give you tipps. Due to the fact that this resort is very small, it has a familiar atmosphere which we enjoyed. We also felt very safe, never looked our hut

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Charming Boutique Hotel"

Review by: Nephilim242 | Source: tripadvisor.com
Fell in love with this hotel as soon as I arrived and had to sit in the magnificent library for a while to wait until my room was ready. This hotel reminded me of a smaller version of Raffles in Singapore. Great attention to detail, superb breakfast, friendly staff and spacious rooms. Loved the pool on top of the residence and had a great meal at the restaurant. Location is superb with close proximity to BTS and other excellent restaurants at Rain Hill.

Tugu Malang: "Truely Colonial"

Review by: anthioc | Source: Trip Advisor
"Tugu Hotel is an icon in Malang, East Java province, and most likely it's the best hotel in town. It has all the facilities of a 5-star hotel, bar, restaurant, swimming pool to identify some. The environment is very lush and greenish, a plus point. It's also centrally located in the heart of the city, yet another plus point. The room is neatly arranged, cozy, and clean, equipped with a tea table, fantastic.. Afternoon tea is served between 4 - 6 pm, free of charge. The staffers are warm and forthcoming, another plus point. Over all rating is 5/5."

Villa Song Saigon: "Loved it"

Review by: joudranwebb | Source: Trip Advisor
"Wow! We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Song and we enjoyed every minute of it. Villa Song is a boutique hotel with nice garden, lovely pool and a small gym. The hotel has great location on Saigon River away from the bustle of the city center. The boat service to town makes things much easier. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant is right on the riverand the food was excellent, breakfast was included and could be had any time during the day. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again."

They event cooked a meal we requested, that was not on the menu. Try order ""ayam taliwang"" from the kitchen (not in the menu book), it was delicioouuussss! Thank you hotel tugu lombok for the memorable stay."

Maisons D'Itac: "beautiful property and great staff"

Review by: Adam W | Source: tripadvisor.com
The property is beautiful and the pictures don't really do it justice. It is extremely peaceful and a wonderful place to stay outside of Moalboal. The staff and the community are very welcoming. Overall, a terrific trip and we certainly look forward to our next visit.
