Villa Song Saigon: "Perfect"

Review by: Stephen C | Source: Trip Advisor
"Villa Song is located in District 3 outSide the city centre. Some say that is a negative, I dont. The city is chaos which is fine for the excitement....but to wind down and enjoy a relaxed peaceful evening this is the place. It's a beautiful boutique hotel with a fantastic saltwater pool to cool down and a riverfront restaurant and bar to enjoy the breeze and view. As for being outside the city, Villa Song provides a free boat shuttle that drops near the main promenade. You get incredible views and bypass the traffic. The times are limited so plan accordingly. The area has the british international school so mainy restaurants, bars, and grocery stores are close by."

RACHAMANKHA: "Oasis"

Review by: Cindy W | Source: tripadvison.com
"We were fortunate to stay here, albeit during the coldest weather in years! This is a true 5* property with wonderfully gracious staff. The location is perfect for walking to most areas you would want to see while in Chiang Mai. Breakfast is more than most would expect and in the evening the food is very good. "

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"

Review by: karinagillibrand | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is Thailand's best kept secret. Charming and secluded and really really well run by Massi, the hotel manager. We were in heaven and are dreaming about our next visit. No tvs, no air conditioning, running water that smells a little due to minerals, but none of it matters when you are at the golden Buddha because you are drawn into a Robison Crusoe fantasy that you seldom find anywhere these days. Lots of nature and very little to do except enjoy the surroundings. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"

Satri House: "Just as elegant as it’s name suggests"

Review by: Alicia S | Source: Trip Advisor
"Satri house is a quiet and beautiful little hideaway. The entire place has a relaxing and calming vibe, which was nice after travelling around three countries beforehand. The staff are all extremely friendly, helpful and lovely people. This was perfect for a short stay during our honeymoon and I'd definitely recommend Satri House to couple's and families alike. Oh and the restaurant is absolutely amazing! Breakfast was to die for! And we had dinner there one night which was just as mouthwatering! Satri House also provides bicycles to use (free of charge) and it's only a quick 3 minute ride into the main part of town. You will not be disappointed :)"

Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing way to see the countryside and river"

Review by: Peter-Anagio | Source: Trip Advisor
"We booked a one night cruise and struck lucky as we were the only passengers on board. Even the 4 hour transfer on the first day was soon forgotten when we had lunch on board and cruised along the river and canals. In the afternoon we had a walk around the countryside and sampled some fruit. Everything was explained perfectly by An who gave us a lesson in everything Vietnamese, history, economy, education, social services, you name it, she explained it all to us. Back on board we had a drink followed by dinner. After a nightcap we retired to the small but comfortable a air conditioned cabin with ensuite. Early to rise, we had breakfast on board before transferring to a smaller boat for the final tours of local sugar factory, floating market and rice cake making. Again, expertly explained by An, we sadly said our goodbyes to face the 2 1/2 hour transfer back to Saigon. This was a great way to get to know a piece of the real Vietnam."

Rachamankha: "Fantastic Stay"

Review by: frank p | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a "late" review, as I lost the name until I found it in my old luggage. We stayed there three nights starting 01/20/2013-01/23/2013, and it was nearly the single most pleasant place we stayed in a three month trip around Thailand and Laos. All rooms face a beautiful central courtyard, and the staff and management are top-notch. The only downside is that the neighborhood outside the walls is a bit rugged, but we had no problems. Highly recommended...don't believe the Dec 2015 stay date...I had to put something....

Slow Villas and Spa: "Little piece of paradise"

Review by: fabulous23 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The moment we entered the villa, it felt like home. The villa is nicely decorated, offering you all the space and luxury you desire. A private pool, nice garden, lovely staff, fabulous breakfast and all the privacy you need makes your dream come true. My partner got good advice on where to dive and experienced three nice dives. And we really enjoyed the massages at the Slow Spa which has a nice atmosphere. Slow villas offers a concept we really enjoyed. Leaving this place really hurts a little as it is really a little piece of paradise. With love, Fabienne & Roel"

Les Maisons d’Itac: "A peaceful place"

Review by: Anna S | Source: Trip Advisor
"A good place to stay with friends or a family. I lived in the house for 6-8 guests. Rooms are airy. A peaceful and very quiet hotel for a relaxing vacation. Nice food, wide list of beverages. Comfortable bed. Private water pool, CCTV cameras. There are no TV, hair dryer. WI-FI is slowly. I would be happy to live there again! Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"
