The Samar: "2nd stay and always so nice!!!!"
"I was back in Siem Reap in May and stayed again at The Samar with a group of friends. The staff remembered me and my habits... and this time they propose us to experience other activities such as a picnic on a platform on the Tonle Sap, some puppet show... lot of creativity and attention to details... it made us feel we were not just in a hotel, but staying with friends sharing their secrets with us to make us discover their area. Nicely done... and the hotel has not changed in a year. Excellent maintenance. and rates are very reasonable and maybe even lower than many for a better quality."Reverie Siam: "Like a dream"
Pai de bir gece kalacakken, cok begenip iki geceye kalmaya karar verdigimiz yer, otelin konumu ve dizayni harika. Iki gece villa da kaldik ve manzaraya bakmaya doyamadik. We just reserved one day for villa room but it was like a dream, and we stayed one night more. I strongly recommend here, hotel like a movie set.Tugu Bali: "Luxury Getaway Balinese style"
I returned to the Tugu 15 years after my first visit, and it remains a bastian of calm in a sea of tourists who are now expected in Bali. The dark wood and carvings are characteristic of Bali and perfect for someone looking for a Balinese style - not an American hotel. Food and service were top notch and delicious, and I noticed a few private rooms for private functions. We took beautiful pictures on the beach at sunset.Mume: "Deserved a place in Top50 in Asia!"
A must try when in Taipei, friendly staff and food cooked and presented to perfection! Was impressed on the execution of techniques, blend of flavours and its casual atmosphere.Villa Song: "Colonial Mansion on the Saigon River"
Just by walking into this hotel, you immediately pick up the atmosphere and know that this is going to be a great experience - and so it proved. All the staff are super efficient and welcoming. Set in a quiet area of HCMC away from the madness and traffic of the city. The hotel speedboat is an interesting and quick way to travel to/from the centre. Breakfast taken at a table overlooking the Saigon River is a great experience. The food quality is excellent. Well done to all at Villa Song!SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "My favorite Restaurant in Yangon"
What a fantastic place! The location on the lake is just amazing. Great food and very good service. My favorite Restaurant in Yangon!Rakkojae Seou: "Beautiful hanok"
I stayed here for 3 nights. The hostess and Kim, hanok manager, were very nice and warm-hearted people. I would recommend this place to travelers who seek traditional hanok to stay. My tour guide told me other hanoks are small compared to Rakkojae.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Honeymoon Highlight"
"We booked the luxury tent as part of our honeymoon. From pick up to drop off everything was 5 star! We had the most fantastic time and staff went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. The room itself was magnificent and we adored being able to shower under the stars. Everything about the room has been carefully thought out and lovingly handmade. The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt safe and secure in the tent. It felt like a tent from 'Harry Potter' as from the outside you would not expect them to be able to fit in so much luxury. The food! Every day we were greeted with a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. We even had private dining under the stars and a cookery lesson. I think my favourite had to be string hoppers and the coconut pancakes. Let's not forget the Safari. We managed to see a total of 5 leopards! (a mating couple, a very large male eating a monkey and a mother and cub on our last day!). Praneeth was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. A big thank you to everyone for making it so special, we will remember it so fondly and really hope to come back very soon! Emma and Matty"Inle Princess Resort: "Go on, splurge,on the lake villa!"
"Immediately, the door opened and I was speechless, the huge windows made me feel like I was floating on the lake itself...simply stunning. The complimentary mini bar was a pleasant added touch as I sat back on my private balcony to watch the sunset. The room was immaculate and spacious. The bathroom complete with outdoor shower was clean and well equipped. The resort is in a secluded corner of the lake and you really did feel like you were far away from the hustle and bustle of the jetty town. The boats themselves must switch off their engines before approaching the resort which makes for a charming introduction to the brilliant foot steering of the local boatmen. Breakfast was made to order and the food generally was of a high standard. I loved seeing the two Burmese cats making themselves at home in this little piece of paradise. Inle Lake was really one of the highlights of my trip, in fact, I could have spent a few extra days here just enjoying the lake life. Trekking on the furthest reaches of the lake would be on my to do list when I return."Jing’s Residence: "Do not miss this!"
We spent two lovely nights at this boutique hotel while visiting Pingyao. It is beautiful, serene and wonderfully restored. Our room was not large, but very well appointed with a king platform bed, desk, armoire and mini-fridge with complementary drinks and snacks. The bathroom was perfect with a large shower with great hot water pressure. We ate in the restaurant our first night, and it was terrific! As usual in China, the food was modestly priced and the wine was fairly expensive. But we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! But the thing that make this little gem excel is the staff. We travel a lot and I don't think we have ever found a place where every staff member was so welcoming! Everyone spoke English and wanted to practice their skills whenever they could. When we went out, we were welcomed back with an opened front door. When we came in for breakfast (very good and a broad selection), we were greeted by name and asked how we slept. Everyone consistently had a smile on their faces! It was a joy to stay here!Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
