Tugu Lombok: "Rest in paradise"
"We staid there for 3nights and we loved it The place is beautiful very different from other 5star hotels. They respect the tradition and the Indonesian history and try to adjust to the hotel decoration. It's a beautiful and calm place. We were lucky the hotel was not crowded. It was low season and we had the hotel almost to ourselves. Very nice staff. The beach is the best we got in Indonesia with warm water but a lot of corals (you should were protection shoes) They have 2 restaurants at the hotel There are 2 big pools. The only bad thing is the prays in the middle of the night. They are Muslims and they pray in the middle of the night and wake you up with the speakers. You have transportation service, excursions to gili, spa, kayaks, paddel board, cooking lessons, snorkeling.. Our breakfast was included and we could have it at any time of the day.. So it was more of a lunch.. And the food is not expensive. It is a romantic place to go and spend a few days. One of my favorite hotel in the world! Stayed March 2017"Villa Song Saigon: "Lovely hotel"
"Two nights after a long flight- excellent spa- fantastic views across the river - nice breakfasts and helpful staff. Shuttle water taxi works well and it's nice to return to relative calm at Villa Song. We would choose to stay here again and will recommend it to our friends. "Labyrinth: "Deserving of the Michelin Star"
Use to eat at the restaurant regularly before they received their Michelin Star. Was a bit apprehensive when I made the booking recently as the restaurant was heavily booked most days and I fear that that their standards might be compromised with the high popularity. My fear was unfounded as the food and service standards was certainly up to expectations . My guest was impressed as well and I certainly look forward to eating there in the near future. Keep up the good work and they truly deserved their star.Satri House: "Unbelievably beautiful"
Stunning boutique hotel with a beautiful decor and excellent staff. Highly highly recommend for a luxurious stay. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. No complaints what so ever.Hotel Tugu Lombok: "SUPERB HOSPITALITY AND ESTATE"
"As soon as I arrived I was welcomed with smiles and friendly greeting from the staffs. What a breath taking beautiful property it is. As far as you can see, your eyes are pampered with calm white sand beach, huge garden and unique, antique and magistic buildings . The menu in the restaurant are combined western and Asian cuisines and it came in generous portion. The room was big, faboulous and very detail facilitated. Open, green and spacious bathroom. The service and the hospitality of each staff there is the top. Super friendly, very helpful and professional. I forgot to bring my daily meds somehow, and they managed to get them in the farmacy which I could tell was not so nearby. So relief that they could get it exactly in same day! So, thank you Tugu Lombok family! For the best staying in Lombok!! Hope to see you all again. "Samuay & Sons: "A DELIGHTFUL CULINARY EXPERIENCE"
What a surprise to find a modern thai fusion restaurant with such surprising dishes in Udon Thani. The two brothers Joey and Noom learned their trade in Berkeley and returned to Udon 4 years ago. Menu with dishes that surprise, very tasty, beautifully decorated, and a unique creative twist to them. And as a bonus a large selections of desserts, which are normally not to be found in a Thai restaurants. No wine on the menu yet which is a pity, but we were told by the owners that they will feature organic wine before long. A must visit in Udon for food lovers.Reverie Siam: "Nostalgia at its best"
This place is so dreamy, everything about the resort screams perfection. Magnificent staff treat you like family! Upon arrival we were greeted with ornaments to hang on their Christmas tree. The staff took care of us when we got sick, delivering medicine to bedside as well as cold water & other herbal remedies. Honestly.. If you stay here the only problem is you may never want to leave! Brilliant!!!!!!Mathis Retreat: "Excellent Boutique Hotel"
"Me and my girlfriend (both 25 y/o from London) stayed at the Mathis Retreat for 5 nights. We thought it was fantastic and was everything we were looking for from our first visit to Bali. Room: We stayed in room 1, this was one of the bungalows and it was beautiful. (As in, we got that tingly feeling of excitement when we walked in!). The decor was tasteful, the room was cool and spacious and amenities such as shampoo and tea were provided. Food: The restaurant on site was fantastic. Breakfast is from a menu where you choose the things that you want, then they are cooked and brought to you. There is a good range of food and as we tried everything (more than once) we can confidently say it was all delicious. However, breakfast paled in comparison to just how great dinner was - arguably some of the nicest food we had during our 3 week stay. It is more expensive than most other places but is worth it particularly considering the environment and setting (see below). There is a great range of Indonesian and westernized food. Setting/Environment: If rice fields and nature is your jam then this place will certainly deliver. Sitting at the restaurant/in the pool and overlooking the fields is spectacular and on arrival will certainly give that wow factor. Truly the photos on TA do not do it justice. Staff: Everyone is lovely, it really is as simple as that. Even when waking the receptionist at 2:15 am (climbing Batur) he came out with a smile and did everything he could to help. Special shout out goes to Karen the manager who clearly makes an effort to talk to all the guests and provide insight into what can be done in Ubud and how to do everything you want to. Tours/Guides: We tried to do as much as we could for our stay in Ubud and think 5 days was the perfect amount of time. However, this was utilizing the guides provided by Karen who were superb and we would highly recommend using them as oppose to navigating the place yourself. In particular, we were very humbled by an opportunity to visit one of the guides homes and see how him, his family and their community live (they had a blacksmith, weaver and fighting chickens!). This was an eye opener into just how different life is for most locals in Bali and how tourism has changed things. Our guides name was 'Susa Wayan' get him if you can! Conclusion: Mathis Retreat was great and we can't really fault it. Staff made it clear they were there to help for any issue and would definitely go back if in that part of the world again. One final point - we paid 350k for the journey to the airport in kuta. Don't pay anymore than that (and you can probably get it cheaper!)"The Cabochon Hotel: "Charming Boutique Hotel"
"Amazing! The decor and building have so much character. The staff was extremely attentive. This was a relaxing retreat in the middle of bustling Bangkok. Breakfast was incredible and something we looked forward to each day. Convenient location near a BTS stop. Would highly recommend. "Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Best stay"
We've stayed at Inle Heritage for three nights during out trip trough Myanmar and wished to stayed even longer. Everything was perfect: nice bungalow, very friendly staff, delicious food and nice boat trips organized by the hotel. We'll be back and would recommend this hotel to everyone.
