Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Great view, great service"

Review by: Lasl0nimne | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were in room 8 on the third floor-a tastefully decorated small suite with three balconies in the living room overlooking the waterfront and promenade. The two windows in the bedroom also overlooked the promenade as well as a side street. The rooms were spotless and the queen bed was comfortable. The provided fruits were tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the most excellent L'escale restaurant (try it for dinner for a taste treat) was a white tablecloth affair spoiled only by the German brat children who screamed throughout. Wifi was excellent."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Very peaceful place"

Review by: Diana-worldtraveler | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed three nights at 4 Rivers and we have enjoyed every minute. Beautiful location and friendly staff. The tent is very spacious and the bathroom is fully equipped. All tents have a lovely terrace with 2 sunbeds. We went with Mr. ""W"" Mr. ""Rambo"" to the Tatai Falls and to the Fishing Village and both trips were wonderful. Every night you can go out to watch the fireflies; beautiful! The only downside for me personally was the heat in the tent. The days we visited 4 Rivers it was very hot. There are 2 mobile fans in the tent, but that doesn't make any sence in that kind of heat. The second night we opened the tent on all sides,(there are mosquitonets in all windows) but there was also no wind, so.... but the whole experience was absolutly fantastic, so I forget those 3 night with no sleep... :) https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g1532269-d1544191-r450676407-4_Rivers_Floating_Lodge-Koh_Kong_Koh_Kong_Province.html#"

Satri House: "Absolute oasis of calm and tranquility"

Review by: Gillian B | Source: Trip Advisor
After the hustle of Hanoi we flew into Luang Prabang and spent 3 nights at the Satri House Hotel, it was superb. In easy walking distance from the town centre, fantastic beautifully furnished room and lovely grounds with charming pool. The staff were also first class --- I can't think of a single criticism. We have travelled in Indochina before and use trip advisor regularly but this is the first time I have ben moved to write a review ---it was excellent.

Satri House: "Bliss!"

The resort is absolutely beautiful and the staff are brilliant :) They spoke perfect English and made everything super easy. The location is a couple of blocks out of town so the free bikes are a good idea.

Mie Cafe: "A wooden House restaurant"

Review by: mbahadoran81 | Source: Trip Advisor
We had dinner here and we ordered the Amok fish, fried vegetable beef, fried rice with Angkor Beer. This was a nice dinner. The staff here were friendly and the service was quickly. Highly recommend.

Talabgaon Castle: "Family owned Castle in the Indian countryside"

Review by: ElectraML | Source: Trip Advisor
A group of four friends on the way from Jaipur to Ranthambore stopped at this magical place. It was like stepping back into time, when life was slower, and more elegant. The hotel is the generations old great-house of a noble family from Jaipur, who also happen to be some of the best polo players in India! The grounds include a polo field, gorgeous pool, and lots of little paths that criss-cross the gardens. The family treats you like a guest and like a member of the family — while we were there we were treated to a beautiful supper on the grass in the late afternoon sun — magical! All the rooms have been renovated and have amazing marble floors and fabulous baths, each with its own unique series of nooks and windows with amazing views of the countryside. The little village that is just outside the gates of the castle is charming too. What a delightful contrast to all the business that is India. A great place to relax and experience life at an Indian family 'home.'

Reverie Siam: "Chilled out elegance and locally sourced food"

Review by: Janiew77 | Source: Trip Advisor
I loved our stay here - the pool, the rooms (upgraded not once, but twice!), the wonderful staff and service - this is a romantic and nostalgic resort nestling in the mountains in the town of Pai. Pai itself has changed a lot and become more touristy over the years, but staying here gives you a feeling of being cocooned in time and luxury. The rooms are beautiful with an old colonial feel, and the saltwater infinity pool looks out to the mountains. Often we were the only people in it. The staff were unfailingly helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The food is amazing!!!! The chef really knows his stuff, and sources local produce. We were supposed to stay two nights at the start of a two week stay in the area, but once we found this place my partner wouldn't let us leave :-) I'd definitely go back to this dreamy place whenever I could..... (travelled May 2015 but option to date didn't go back that far)

GLENBURN TEA ESTATE: "An outstanding very special place to stay"

Review by: GS64 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"This is probably one of the very best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. The location is magical (although be prepared for a very rough road to get there for about the last 40 minutes) and the ambience is particularly special. We could not have been better looked after by the staff who were attentive, efficient and friendly. Meals were quite superb, amongst the very best we had in India. William and Faye are excellent hosts and keep a watchful eye to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. I recommend it very highly indeed. "

Villa Song Saigon: "Indulged myself"

Review by: Allaround1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Travelling solo and arriving jet-lagged in Saigon, I wanted to indulge myself in a little luxury before my onward journey. Villa Song lived up to my expectations. I really enjoyed my Writer's Room - all dark wood, sparsely decorated but tasteful with a charming balcony. I slept so well that I have considered smuggling the bed back home with me! The staff were extraordinary...very helpful for this first time traveller to Vietnam. I enjoyed my a la carte breakfasts by the river, especially the fact that they were served all day. Just right for jet-lagged, lazy, old me. I have really enjoyed my three - night stay at the Villa Song. To be recommended, especially if you need a little peace and quiet, in elegant surroundings from the whirlwind that is Ho Chi Minh City. "
