Food terrific, staff wonderful, rooms very comfortable... a great place to stay if you are visiting southern Laos. "A magical, beautifully landscaped property with eco-architectural designs... Exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Ylang Ylang tent for 4 nights. The tents are secluded, comfortable and very well decorated, each with its own private pool and stunning jungle views. We enjoyed the in-room massages. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The shuttle service into Ubud town was useful. The owners will be adding yoga facilities to Sandat in the near future. A truly perfect place to unwind. I looking forward to visiting again soon. This is a beautiful hotel with a lot more charm that the other luxury option along the lake shore. The cocktails and drinks were exceptional and the staff were more than happy to recommend great local restaurants to us too. The spa was sensational- professional treatments in a beautiful setting. Tiger Mountain Lodge is amazing. Though access may be slightly problematic for the less agile such as myself, any efforts are certainly worthwhile. My room (7) had breathtaking views over the mountains and (very kindly ) the weather Gods lifted the clouds enabling the magnificent scene to unfold. Though this reality was obviously outside the control of the lodge management , the friendly and efficient care that was delivered throughout the stay at the lodge. My food requirements are unusual to say the least, but an understanding staff managed to accommodate those peculiarities very efficiently. All aspect of care lived up to or exceeded expectations and Grateful thanks are due to a very efficient team.The Apsara Rive Droite: "Friendly, spacious, good service"
Our family of five have stayed at Apsara Rive Droite on our trip 1-4 Dec 2017. The owner and manager team was very responsive in replying email and helpful. Khun Haan; a manager, took care of us very well and made us feel as home. We stayed in Deluxe River View Suites which were spacious and had a great view of Nam Khan river. The best part is also the quietness and serenity. We also booked tour to waterfall and were so surprised by hotel service that one staff accompanied us to take care of our family, I forgot his name, thanks to him too. On waterfall trip, hotel arrange us a great service and unforgettable luncheon. When we had some questions about place to see and to go, Khun Haan and his team was always helpful with nice recommendations and even arranged transportation for us. "it is no doubt my most favorite hotel in the globe. there are anything in here which I expect for shelter escape from daily hard work, nice and beautiful building by style of old era, the high quality amenity , exotic smell from Lemongrass aromatic oil, charm of china ware , beautiful view of orchid flower ,and many many, but the best point for me, a smile , grace , warm coming from all of hotel staffs, it is friendly keeping polite manner . I stayed in this hotel for one night only but it was a gorgeous place to stay, with lovely staff and a welcome drink at the bar (much needed after a long drive from the ferry!). The room was beautiful with a huge jacuzzi bath to relax in. Would recommend this as a clean, friendly, boutique hotel to explore Bangkok.
