Cuca: "Tapas in Bali"
Had a wonderful dinner at this place. We brought our own wine. Their tapas menu is quite limited. We did not have the tasting menu - instead we ordered most items on the menu - very reasonable price! Their roasted pork buns are to die for! Their desserts are delicious too! Must try if you are in Jimbaran.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Dreamy"
"High in the clouds perched on a little mountain near Darjeeling sits the most incredible retreat in all of India. I looked forward to my stay for months, but nothing could have prepared me for just how WONDERFUL this place is. It's probably the closest thing I can imagine to being royalty- such a beautiful example of old colonial splendour, and you are treated like a VIP. I enjoyed the communal dining, where I met lovely people from around the world, and it's pretty special to be able to just go for a guided hike anytime you like- there is always a guide on hand. Though it was mostly cloudy when I stayed, in the mornings the clouds parted and I was lucky enough to get an incredible glimpse of Kachechunga (wow!!) Rates seem expensive, but include so much (transfers, laundry, all food, all hikes, all activities!) that I can't really complain about the price. Everything was of perfect quality. On a side note, I stayed as a solo female, and I felt very comfortable, and my privacy was completely respected. Room Tip: They all have their own charm. Can't go wrong."Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazing place"
"Nice an relaxing. Great service. All the mod cons. Probably the most luxurious accommodation on the island. The Indonesian BBQ that you can order on request is amazing. Great aircon, pool, beds, little kitchen and even a USB with shows on it in case you want a lazy afternoon watching Human Planet, Bikes and lights supplied. Great architecture, happy helpful staff. Massage included, yoga sessions, Pilates. Just Amazing"Rakkojae Seoul: "Hidden Gem"
"This was truly a hidden gem! Beautiful Hanok with modern amenities in a tucked away quiet neighbourhood yet very close ( 8 minute walk) to subway, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. The grounds are truly magnificent! we really felt like we were back in time... so serene. We chose the traditional Korean breakfast and are so glad we did..delicious! Thank You Mr. Kim! you were truly a gracious host! We will definitely come back and have already recommended Rakkojae to our friends and family!"Manukan Island Resort: "Wow"
Spent 3 days, 2 nights here. Started with a lovely greeting by very friendly staff. Great room with water views. Large room, good bathroom and nice verandah to sit on and watch the world go by. Try the walk up to sunset point - was cloudy when I went, but still nice. Food in restaurant is nice, dearer than mainland but still cheap compared to home. Good buffet breakfast. Lots of people on the island during the day with locals coming over, but they all leave late afternoon then it's all yours. Very relaxing, peaceful few days. Went on snorkeling trip to nearby islands from here too. Great. Would love to come back here.Mathis Retreat: "Paradise in the ricefields"
"We had such an amazing time at Kenanga Hotel. The place is located in a perfectly preserved location in Ubud. Surrounded by the ricefields and the palmtrees, the bungalows look beautiful and are very comfortable. Everything is super clean! The swimming pool is perfect as well and allows you to enjoy the peaceful landscape while relaxing in the water. The staff is adorable, smily and very attentionate to the customers' need. Karine, the French Manager of the hotel is extremely kind and helpful. She will help you if you need anything to plan your visits and to improve your experience at the hotel. You can also have a nice walk in the ricefields all around at sunrise and/or sunset time. The restaurant is also delicious and offers high quality food at a good price. Try it! I would deeply recommend this hotel. Just go there and forget everything else!!"Tugu Lombok: "Certainly unique!"
I was a little apprehensive as we drove down a dirt road and stopped at an old building which was really dark inside. Everything was not old, but antique, and of the best taste. A real treasure trove! Our room was splendid, and we much enjoyed the huge copper bath with its rain shower. The common buildings are spectacular, too, and the decor in the bar is brilliant. The staff, though not ultra-efficient, could not have been more attentive, and the food was very good. Having said that, one has to accept that Lombok has limited resources and that supplies sometimes run out. Massages were excellent, and we took advantage of the outings on offer, which were very well organised. This is a wonderful place to relax.Villa Song Saigon: "Truly amazing hotel, elegant, style and great service"
"We wanted a special hotel to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and after lots of searching we found the best in Ho Chi Minh City. You could not fault anything about the hotel from the moment we contacted them to make a reservation to the moment we left in the taxi they arranged for us to return to the airport. We loved the setting, right on the Saigon river where we got to enjoy our breakfast everyday watching the boats go by in the beautiful restaurant and terrace. Chef Kevin is an amazing cook and each meal was mouth watering with lots of local flavours. We had upgraded to a sanctuary villa but found the room a little to small for us so they gave us a better room overlooking the restaurant and river. We loved our new room and the way they handled our disappointment. Please note that all 23 rooms are very different and vary in size, we looked at many as we are coming back in September for my hubbies birthday, we hardly ever go back so that says it all about Villa Song. The highlights of the hotel are the beautiful rooms, gorgeous pool, elegant decor, water setting, private hotel speedboat to the city centre, delightful staff and exceptional food with all day breakfast as well as a very clean environment. Also the local restaurants they recommend were excellent with some lovely locals shops and coffee shops a very short taxi ride away. The hotel is about a good tweet minute taxi ride from district 1 after the speedboat stops about 6pm, it is so worth staying in this beautiful area. All of the staff were very courteous and made our stay out of this world. Cannot wait to go back to one of the best hotels ever. A special thanks to Yega, Nhu and Vinh for making our stay blissful and memorable, you truly showed us that great service is still out there. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g293925-d1554688-r381751802-Villa_Song_Saigon-Ho_Chi_Minh_City.html#"Inle Princess Resort: "Great location, Great hotel, great people"
Just back from a amazing trip through Myanmar using Myanmar Shalom Travel and this was our last hotel stop. It's an amazing resort in an place Inle Lake. Everything was great and the added feature to this resort is it's just off the edge of the lake where no long boats can use their motors (boats need to paddle in the last 100 yards) so it's also quiet. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed.David’s Kitchen: "Exceptional from start to finish."
"I can say without a doubt that Davids Kitchen has been the best dining experience of my life. I had not read the reviews, I only heard of DK from a friends email when Trip advisor nominated his restaurant in the top 10 of the world, therefore I was intrigued as I live in Chiang Mai. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled around the world and eaten in many fine dining restaurants and there has been nothing that comes close to the quality and professional service that we enjoyed at David's Kitchen. The ambience, staff and food was exceptional from booking online until we finished and left very impressed and satisfied. The food was really exquisite and I sadly did not have enough room for Sticky Toffy Pudding which I will avenge with my next visit. The Staff were so friendly and helpful in every way. Professional. David was not there, which I did not know the significance of until I received an email from him the following morning apologizing for his absence taking a well deserved holiday with his family. Incredible and well received. That personal care and attention to detail exemplifies the quality of his restaurant, food and staff even in his absence. DK is something I will be talking about for a very long time. I look forward to my next visit and meet the man who makes his restaurant what it is. An unforgettable and magic dining experience which I would like to say from us, Thanks so much and see you next time. Please do go. you will not regret it."
