Jing’s Residence: "Highly recommend"
"We stayed two nights at Jing's Residence and what an amazing experience it was. A wonderful oasis of calm and tranquillity. The traditional Chinese courtyard style of residence with the modern facilities is very tastefully combined. The service could not be faulted. Staff were both attentive and friendly. We had a delicious Chinese meal in the restaurant and a most enjoyable afternoon tea in the beautiful upstairs room/library. Breakfast was very good too. There are many little touches which make Jing's residence unique and which were much appreciated. I particularly enjoyed the honeyed dates. Also enjoyed was the tea (ginger and honey) served on arrival whilst we waited for our passports to be checked. Pingyao is a small walled city and we were fortunate to have a guide who was able to take us to places of historical interest in the vicinity. We would definitely recommend Jing's Residence. It has a wonderful atmosphere and is very welcoming. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"Rachamankha: "Oasis of Tranquility"
We loved our stay at Rachamankha. In fact, it was our favorite hotel on our entire 4 week trip in Asia. Very quiet, great staff, and good location. The grounds and pool are absolutely gorgeous...if you stay be sure to save a day just to enjoy the hotel. The food at the restaurant was very good and reasonable price for a hotel restaurant. Also enjoyed massages which were reasonable. The room itself is not luxurious, but is very nice and cool Thai style. I don't know what they called it, but we got the room one level above the basic room and thought it was worth the money. Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend this hotel.Mie Cafe: "Lovely Dinner"
We had a lovely dinner here, staff are polite and friendly. We ordered the friend fried, fish amok, grilled pork and the red wine. Will come back next time.Rachamankha: "A stunningly stylish hotel"
A beautiful architect designed hotel in the centre of Chiang Mai. It has an excellent restaurant and a beautiful swimming pool. We stayed in 2 different suites and I would highly recommend one the first floor suites as they are newer and have outdoor seating.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "A Cambodian restaurant not to be missed"
The restaurant is helmed by a French chef who uses fresh local produce, herbs and spices together with his sophisticated cooking technique, taking Cambodian cuisine to next level. The chef greets each table upon guest's arrival by introducing menu of the day, he also presents petit-four to complete our meal. What a sincere and friendly gesture to the customers! The 6-course menu (you can choose 5 too) is very reasonably priced without sacrificing quality and quantity of food, it is definitely a great place to try the flavoursome Cambodian cuisine and spend an evening there.Summertime Villa: "Warm perfection"
"Summertime Villa in Calangute Goa is one of those rare places where every thing is right To wake up in a place full of sunshine and walk with bear feat over the warm tiles to the terras and have a delicious breakfast. This is what a true lazy holiday can be. The staff is always ready to serve you. Lots of attention to detail, we loved the abundance of birds. There are many colourfull birds around the house, but also insite where all kinds of bird figures are around you. The hosts also own a boat, a sunset trip to the lagoon is lovely, we even saw a dolphin. We are a family of 4 with teenage children, lots of space in three big bedrooms"Slow Villas and Spa: "Heaven in Gili"
"It's difficult to describe... it was amazing! Kind staff who pampered me throughout my stay! They are always ready to help and offer additional information when asked. Slow villas is beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the spa treatments were great! I was delighted to have had this experience at Slow villas! Thank you so much! I hope to come back in the future!"Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Paradise found"
We had wonderful 5 nights at this quiet, luxurious resort: beautiful place, great villa, very clean and delicious meals. The hotel staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, all our wishes came true. We very much enjoyed our stay and are very sad that we could not stay longer.Villa Song Saigon: "Charming Boutique Hotel"
We loved this place. It's a stunning villa with a gorgeous pool which is open late into the evening. The highlight for us was the breakfast which can be taken any time of day - who knew beef pho and French toast go so well together?! The area is a bit sterile (lots of international schools and expat compounds) but we just wanted to chill by the pool so this was a perfect end to our short stay in Vietnam. Particularly grateful for accommodating our request for a late checkout. Nice little gym too. Would love to return.Reverie Siam: "Paradise in a small town"
"RS was an amazing hotel in a very busy small town. It was truly wonderful to escape back to after a tiring day in the heat and humidity of Pai. The staff here are so welcoming and very accommodating. They greet you so warmly all the time. The shuttle tuk tuk was also very handy as it is almost impossible to find taxis when walking the streets of Pai. The breakfast menu was very impressive. Everything cooked to order. Try the Pai scramble. We took the family room which had the largest bathroom I have seen for such a size hotel. Beds were very comfortable and all the locals amenities provided in the bathroom are very nice touches. The soaps were great - lemongrass and coconut, all locally sourced and natural"
