Sukoon Houseboat: "wonderful houseboat"
No doubt the best houseboat in kashmir, initially planned to stay at the houseboat for 2 nights but it was such wondeful place to be that extended my stay for one more night, the staff is excellent very caring and the food served one of the best ever had on my holiday...Would love to go back and enjoy the beauty and the surroundings from the houseboaat....Villa Song: "Unbelievably amazing"
"We're on our Honeymoon and just had a two hour spa experience that was simply incredible. It was about $100 for two of us, for the best treatment package we've ever had. Salt scrub, full body massage, then epic multi-phase facial, and we are GLOWING. And totally blown away. Combined with the friendly, super accommodating staff, the lovely room with the gorgeous view, the free water shuttle to downtown, and the lovely grounds, we simply couldn't be happier."Maisons Wat Kor: "Heaven hidden outside of the town for discerned traveller"
A hidden hotel with a beautiful pound and an amazing local architecture. What make this hotel different are the number of rooms, only very few rooms - each bungalow has 4 rooms , they all looks the same and could be the set for a movie. Rooms are large and nice bathroom. The life of the hotel is around the pound and the kitchen. You will feel more in somebody house rather than an hotel here. The hotel is few minutes away from the town, but the tuktuk will take you there through a small village. The Island Lodge: "Calm, quiet and very very nice"
"This is a secret paradise with french couple Michel and Francoise being the perfect hosts. Service is extremely friendly, present and polite. Rooms are clean and very very cosy all having a great view over pool and the river. "Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A piece of heaven"
"This is my second visit to Neeleshwar Hermitage and by the looks of it won't be my last. The weather was perfect and the hospitality was perfect and thoughtful. Check in was smooth - they even kept the restaurant open past its timings for my arrival which was very thoughtful of them. Libin and Sharath at the restaurant were very good. The food on the first day was fabulous (some great grilled fish and prawn curry). On the rest of the days it was just ok though the breakfast was very good. I also really enjoyed my morning coffee on the veranda. The pool is perfect, there were no intrusions and my request for drinks were quickly attended to. The cottage room is big and comfortable and i got some well deserved rest. The only disappointment was that the restaurant by the beach was closed because of the monsoons, though I must say their main restaurant is beautifully done up. The resort itself is very beautiful with views of the crashing waves of the ocean. Overall it is a great place to get some rest and get away from hectic schedules. The staff go way out of their way to make you comfortable without being intrusive in any manner. I really appreciated the efforts they put in to make sure I had a good holiday and I was very impressed. My sincere thanks to them all. My only recommendation is that more boards be put up on the main road so that the resort is easier to locate. The resort is 2.5 hours from Mangalore airport which is quite a ride. As a tip i would recommend that guests call up the resort for their bookings and you might get a great deal like i did! A slice of heaven on earth -not to be missed for those looking for a relaxing holiday! https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g1809068-d1204939-r382338334-Neeleshwar_Hermitage-Kasaragod_Kerala.html#"Manukan Island Resort: "Paradise"
We booked for one night as a last minute treat during our stay in Borneo. We were overwhelmed by what we got. We originally booked the cheapest double room, but when we arrived and was shown to our room, even though we were before the check in time, we were flabbergasted that we were given a beach villa over looking the private beach and sea. The room was luxurious, the staff were attentive and our over night stay was romantic. The only problem we encountered was the restaurant staff, who forget to bring us our drinks and the food wasn't that great. Over all a fabulous place for that romantic get away.Jing’s Residence: "The best hotel we stayed in China"
"Stopped here for 2 nights during our tour of China. The hotel is in the centre of the walled town. If you arrive during the day no traffic is allowed on the street so you have to walk with your suitcases a short distance. It was the best hotel we stayed in during our China tour. From the welcome where we were met with refreshing tea and honeyed dates, to the the room off a courtyard which was sumptuous and pure luxury, to afternoon tea and the staff who were service personified. We were in room 107. A large luxurious room with separate shower room, a large bed on a raised bed to look like a futon everything was just right. Each afternoon tea was served, a choice of tea with a selection of sweet things and fruit. A chance to sit quietly away from bustle outside and relax. There was a ground floor restaurant and upstairs a bar, lounge and library. The best aspect was the service. From the resident man@ger who clearly kept a tight rein on all that happened to each member of staff it was exemplary. Don’t take the word of those of us who’ve reviewed and been here go yourself it is a brilliant hotel."Tugu Bali: "Restaurant Bale Puputan"
We were looking for a romantic setting for a special meal for our final night in Canggu. We dined at the Bale Puputan restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful rice table served by Sri. Sri looked after us the whole evening and made our experience special. We had a guided tour to their own private beach area and al fresco dining area.Tugu Bali: "A slice of Heaven"
"The great service started at the airport when we met our smiling driver Dewo! Had no idea how crazy the streets around Bali could be and was thankful to be driven by a local :) We arrived at Hotel Tugu mid evening to a beautiful lights and warm atmosphere and friendly welcome and shown to our beautiful charming room - we had a family suit with inter leading doors and a GREAT bath! We loved all our time at Tugu and am just sorry not to have tried out all their ""experience"" suggestions - next time dinner on the beach! This was out first trip to Bali and we could come back here - we had a drive over to the South Kuta side and although they have nicer beaches we felt the intimate setting of Tugu so much nicer than the sprawling mass hotel feel of somewhere like Ayodya! Breakfast could be eaten at the pool or dining area overlooking the ocean and the kids loved the banana pancakes. We all loved the food at the Japanese restaurant on site and had fun exploring the area up to Echo Beach and LOVED the visit to Tanah Lot (best at high tide for photos). Driving anywhere takes a lot of time so it was lovely to be able to have a good choice of things to do (surfing lessons, swimming, cooking etc) right on the doorstep. LOVED this place!"Satri House: "Practically perfect in every way"
This hotel embodies the Luang Prabang vibe of tranquillity and charm. A small collection of two storey buildings, almost invisible from the road, close enough to the centre that you can easily walk or take one of the hotel bikes (no charge) to get to the main sites, but feels like an oasis of calm, with a couple of nice little swimming pools to cool off in after a hot day visiting temples (or whatever). Spacious, attractive rooms, tastefully furnished. Exceptionally comfortable beds. The breakfast is something to look forward to in itself - great coffee, delicious pastries, perfectly cooked eggs - all appearing minutes after you've ordered. Friendly, helpful staff. I'm rarely this gushing about a hotel but there's nothing not to like about Satri House.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
