SANAK RETREAT BALI: "INCREDIBLE"

"We stayed at Sanak in early January of 2015. Unfortunately it's taken me this long to review them! After arriving on a particularly rainy afternoon, we were greeted by the lovely staff in their bar/reception area. I was blown away by the incredible view that lay before me. The hotel is nestled right on top of farmed rice paddies so provided an amazing taste of the real Bali. The food was particularly impressive. The menu has a French/Balinese fusion twist; and every meal they served us was amazing quality. It's truly a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. I was a little worried about becoming ""bored"" due to the quite, but the constant massages, yoga and laying by the pool quickly calmed those nerves. One of the people in the group I stayed with even got the chance to work the rice fields with the locals, yet again adding to the authenticity! Couldn't recommend the place any more highly. Loved it! "

Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "An unforgettable experience"

A truly unique and distinctive experience at Blackitch Artisan Kitchen. Chef Black's philosophy around food and ethics comes through in all his dishes - local, creative, artisan and balanced. His food is innovative, experimental and he has a real flair for flavours. Chef Black explained each of his dishes as they came to the table and the processes - the majority of the food is organic and handmade. I was fascinated to hear about the fermentation processes and work he'd gone through to create the dishes - an unforgettable evening !

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing experience"

"What an amazing experience it was to stay at 4 Rivers floating lodge. I only have positive things to say, starting with the warm welcome at their reception area , to the boat trip, friendly and efficient team ! The tents are extremely comfortable, the attention to details is quiet exceptional !!! The breakfast is gigantic , the food is good. 4 rivers is very much involved in preservation and supporting local community, they raised money to build a school in a small village nearby. It was a very special moment and one of the best accommodation I saw in Cambodia. Will be back for sure !"

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Beautiful hotel & restaurant"

"We went for lunch and spent a few hours at their beautiful terrace watching the lake. Prices for food are well worth, especially considering how beautiful and calm everything is. The place is a school for unfortunate and unprivileged youth who train to become chefs and hotel staff. Seems like a great project. If within your budget I'd definitely recommend staying a night or two at the hotel. Stayed October 2016"

MesaStila: "Coffee Plantation in Paradise!"

"What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! The late Gabriella Teggia worked a miracle when she put her heart and soul into saving this part of Indonesia! The plantation itself is incredible; the food at Java Red and Java Green Restaurants was amazing; the staff are kind and welcoming; and the village walk to Losari and other villages is delightful! We loved the batik we purchased at Batik Losari from the charming owner and her daughter! Munir, our guide for a day trip to Jogjakarta, tried very hard to show us all of the sights. Tia gave us an excellent tour of the plantation itself. In the restaurant, Nur, Ana, Deby, and several other amazing young people did an excellent job taking care of us. We would highly recommend at stay at this wonderful retreat! "

Manda De Laos: "beautiful"

What a stunning and romantic setting! We arrived unplanned as we were staying at Satri House close by and just arrived, hungry.The food was very good, but not the best of Luang Prabang. We also found some of the male staff were a little arrogant. However we really enjoyed ourselves with the beautiful setting. I do think this is definitely worth visiting.

Tugu Lombok: "beautiful resort"

another tugu hotel that i visited in this last 2 years. tugu lombok take you back to old city of lombok, ampenan.. with beautiful panorama and beach. sit and relax for the sun rise and walk further to the other side of the beach for sun set. even 1.5 hours drive and far from airport , but easily reach near from pelabuhan bangsal that you can spend your day to 3 gili islands..

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "WOW Amazing and Stunning"

"The beautiful amazing and stunning Blue Mansion is a dream come true. It really is a dream location to stay in and a great honour to have been able to reside here for only 1 night (which was not enough). We got there late and was greeted by Shiro. Shiro is a great host and always smiling and happy to help you with everything. She has knowledge of the Mansion and where to go out in the local area. The Mansion is stunning where ever you look you have a view which is jaw dropping! We stayed in the room ""The Old Kitchen"" which still has the old large stove as a centre piece in the room covered in glass to protect it. The room has its own has its own Jacuzzi which is beautifully lit and tiled. The shower here is stunning. Old fashioned but modern and powerful with various settings. The room is large and open planned with amazing woodwork and large shutters. You can imagine Cheong Fatt Tze walking around his mansion. This place still has a very strong presence of him. Breakfast is great and again the setting is just awe inspiring! Thank you to Ms Seng RouHan for your help with our booking. The tour completed the experience. If you have time take the tour which is included for paying guests. I would like to stay here longer in future but I would find it very hard to leave if I stayed too long as this place is just simply heaven. Thank you Blue Mansion. Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Great Place to Stay"

"We stayed at the Mrauk Oo Princess resort, a sister property of the Inle Princess of Inle Lake. The grounds here are beautiful and the rooms are individual villas that are spacious. The staff here were very friendly and accommodating. The massage was delightful. We had the pleasure of staying here over Christmas, and the staff provided a superb performance of traditional Burmese dances during the Christmas Eve dinner. We thought they were professionals until we were told that they were our staff. It was a WOW moment. The food at this resort was very tasty. Our tour guide had arranged for us to take the two deck boat directly from their dock down the river for 3.5 hours to Sittwe, which was a lot smoother than the pot-hole ridden road for 4.5 hours that we took from Sittwe to Mrauk U. We will definitely be back to stay the next time we visit Mrauk U, Myanmar."

Arumdalu: "An Amazing Place"

Love the beach, love the service. Food gets a little expensive compared to outside. However they plant everything, from pepper to vegetables. Love the hydroponic system. Do go for the island hopping tour. it's a blast!
